Rate was for a full hook-up, non waterfront. This park seems to be primarily a seasonal situation, and I’m not sure why: there’s lots to see and do in the area for a weekend. The residents and particularly the owners are very friendly. A really upscale playground for the kids and a sandy beach on a shallow (therefore, warm) small lake. We thought the park rather spartan at first, but upon walking around, found a nice variety of sites, including a fully serviced group area. Arrive prepared with food and videos: although they advertise a variety store within walking distance, we didn’t notice it. Of the four TV channels received on the amplified antenna, one dealt with fishing for three hours and the other three were cartoons each morning. The Wi-Fi, although competent, required a hike up a 45 degree hill to the office to receive it. Never mind, we don’t have a dog so we walk the laptop. They plan to upgrade the coverage with a pay-as-you- go system in future. The men’s room was clean (albeit older) and freshened with disinfectant, but the ladies’ didn’t rate quite so highly. Altogether a nice place to stay while exploring the shops and galleries of Bancroft. We camped here in a Motorhome.
