A very disappointing campground! We made reservations in May in order to be sure of getting a site that was easy to get into and included in our information was the size of our rig (32’). We were sent to a site that was very hard to back into and learned after we were set up that there were convenient pull-thrus available for the same price! Several campsites were overcrowded (10 to 12 adults and a few kids). Some inconsiderate campers chose to chat loudly until 4 am and others left their garbage on their sites when leaving The few staff who frequently drove around on carts to make sure that the occupancy card were on the posts ignored the litter and green garbage bags left behind. The fire pits were simply grates that campers had move to a convenient spot and most of them were damaged making them unsuitable for cooking over (we didn’t try). The picnic tables in our area were in need of repair/replacement as well. The chemical toilets were very dirty and smelly and were hosed out about once a day. The main bathrooms were somewhat cleaner but still not in the least appealing, especially the showers. To make matters worse the water pressure for the push button showers was terrible…a frustrating and unsatisfactory experience. The worst Conservation area campground I have stayed at in 55 years of camping. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
