This is not a resort at all! A campground, no more, no less. Our rating is simple to explain: 1 is the least you can rate, then this campgrounds earns one point each for the gorgeous view over the lake and the very silence at night. Other than that it's just ridiculous what you get for your money (No discounts whatsoever). Our back in site was the most unlevel we ever stayed in, sloped from front to back and side to side. The electrical hookup (15 amp) is flimsy, the water hookup OK. No sewer, no Wi-Fi, no cable. No privacy at all, nothing between the sites. The road to the campground is a 1.5km bumpy gravel road, inside the campground it's narrow but manageable. However, if the opposite sites of yours are occupied, backing in might become a bit tricky. Our 5th wheel is 34 feet and we did just OK. We had a peak inside the washrooms but didn't have the courage to use them, so we left the place unharmed. We won't return, if you want to stay there, don't use the website's official address because your GPS will send you somewhere in the outskirts of Espanola. The problem is known by the owner but doesn't seem to care about it. From the Trans Canada Hwy take Hwy 6 through Espanola and turn right at the large "Lake Apsey Resort" sign on the right about 5 km past Espanola. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
