This is a large park surrounding two man-made lakes with waterslides and picnic areas. Most sites (especially those facing the water) are seasonal; there are full-service overnight sites on the south side (which looked large, level and nice), plus partially-serviced sites on the north side (where I stayed). My site was huge; other parks would have put 4 RVs in the same space! Wi-Fi was pay-by-the-hour, but cellular coverage is good for those with an aircard. My only complaint with this place was that some people (mostly kids) had loud music playing during the day. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Twin Lakes Camping in Moonbeam is a family-friendly campground. The park consists of two man-made lakes featuring beaches, waterslides, playgrounds, shuffleboards, laundry facilities, a chip stand, and a "train camper" available for rental. Entry to the park is controlled and the park personnel are friendly and informative. Of the 146 sites, approximately 100 are seasonal. Interior roads and sites are easy to negotiate. We occupied a pull-thru site with full hook-ups. Pull-thrus are very long (100 ft.). The first rig to arrive pulls thru, the next rig backs into the same site. The park is generally well-kept. The idea of staying in a place called "Moonbeam" tickled our fancy, so we pulled into Twin Lakes and explored Moonbeam. Had we stayed longer we would have hiked a trail or two; however, we simply went into Moonbeam, visited the information center and snapped a few photos. Moonbeam's claim to fame is the UFO sighting responsible for the town's name. But, the lakes, creeks, and trails surrounding the town are worth exploring. We camped here in a Motorhome.
