We stayed here and toured Upper Canada Village, prehistoric world. Very friendly staff and the whole family loved it. We will return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Friendly staff, family catered park, lots of activities for the kids. Located close to 401, close to Upper Canada Village, Prehistoric World, St.Lawrence Parks. Its outside of (east) Morrisburg. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Rate based on weekly stay. This is a real campground complete with fire pits, a pond, two pools, 3 playgrounds so lots of people and lots of kids. There is a laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers but no place to hang up clothes. Sites are large. Drawbacks are no sewers but they do have a pump out service, pay showers and no paved roads. Very close to Upper Canada Village, short drive to Morrisburg for groceries. Campground has a store, a small snack bar, and a book exchange. Very few sites are internet satellite friendly. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Perfect if you want to rest and relax. This campground is for bird watchers and nature lovers. Very quiet and peaceful, keep it like this. Excellent hiking and biking trails. Small beach, well maintained. In order to discourage the wrong type of customers, UC Bird Sanctuary has a all year round alcohol ban. All waterfront sites are "no services." We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This was the first camping trip we took in our new to us trailer. When we got to the site we were greeted by very friendly staff who explained everything we needed to know about the site. When we got to our site it was huge, I drive a 4 door full size Chevy Silverado with a 26' trailer and I was able to drive around my site with ease. From our site we have a perfect view of the St-Lawrence seaway where we could walk in less than a minute to a beautiful beach and watch the huge tankers go by in the far off distance. The only reason I don't give this campground a 10 is because this is an alcohol free park and it would have been nice to enjoy a beer while watching to boats go buy. It was a beautiful 3 days. And a wonderful way to start my camping stage in life unlike my terrible experience at Jellystone Park Niagara Falls. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a campground for bird watchers and nature lovers. Lots of hiking and biking trails, a nice beach and very spacious sites. Only one single shower for males and females. In order to discourage the wrong type of person to come there it has a year round alcohol ban. Beautiful views of the water with big ocean-going vessels from almost every site. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
