The 2007 reviewer was very accurate. I would say the number of useable sites is way less than 60. The washrooms and showers have not been used for months ( or years). The site is in need of a lot of updating; however, we would stay again just for the quiet. The WI-FI was weak but did work. The $38 is quite expensive for the services available. The cafe has a great collection of stuffed animals including a caribou. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This place is hard to describe. It is a hunting and fishing lodge on Lake of the Woods with cabins, restaurant and an area in the trees for RVs. We were the only ones in the camping area. The sites are not very clearly defined, just lots of grass areas among the trees. You just pull in where you can fit and still be near the utilities. It is quiet and absolutely beautiful on a gentle hill overlooking Lake of the Woods. The owner was friendly and accommodating and helped us get parked and settled in a site that allowed us to align our satellite through a gap in the trees. Their small restaurant, overlooking the lake is top-notch. I highly recommend it. We wished our schedule would have allowed us to stay longer. We will definitely return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
