The location of this park is on Snake Bay of the beautiful Lake of the Woods. The water is crystal clear and there is a beautiful beach. The managers were very friendly. I had to prune the trees to get my coach in and out of the site. The restroom facility is clean, but old, and the building had a pay shower. Wharfage costs 11.50 per day. There are a lot of seasonal campers here, some who have been coming here for years. Good fishing here, from the dock or out in the lake. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The resort has added some 50 amp sites on the drive before the office. They are very wide and have a thick gravel covering. The water spigot has both filtered and unfiltered available. Wi-Fi signal is strong from the new sites. Firewood is free. There is an additional pet fee per night. There is a sandy swimming beach on the lake for guests and a full-service marina on site. A laundry is available 24 hours a day. There is a very friendly staff! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Walleye fishing on Lake of the Woods. We have been going to Tomahawk for 15+ years with our big rig. Fishing boats and guides available as well as modern cabins for non-campers. Family owned with 3rd generation now involved. Shore lunch of fresh walleyes cooked by the fishing guide is a special treat. Will continue to try to make it an annual event. We camped here in a Motorhome.
