Great Park, Friendly staff. This park is the standard I hold all RV Parks/Resorts to, so far none have surpassed We camped here in a Motorhome.

Don't mix this park up with Bandon RV Park, which is basically a gravel parking lot on Hwy 101 in Bandon. Bandon by the Sea RV Park is 2 miles south of Bandon, just off Hwy 101 to the right, when traveling south. Our rate reflects a 10% Good Sam discount for a full hookup pull through site. You drive on a concrete patch, so leveling is a breeze. Hookups are in top shape and easy to access. Strongest and fastest Wi-Fi we experienced in a RV park since a long time. Very quiet at night, no road noise from 101. In November the lack of shade was no problem. The side by side arrangement of the sites provides no privacy which is our main reason for down-rating this park one notch. When heading back north to Canada we'll stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Price reflects that we paid as a group. Nice small campground. Some permanent residents and summer cottages. Pull throughs were available and were positioned for a more scenic view from a motorhomes front windshield. Not the beach, but a area of nice dense foliage. Wi-Fi was good and AT&T signal strong. Overall a pretty good park from which to visit the magnificant Bandon beach. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We liked this park! It is very pretty, lots of green grass and shrubbery. Clean restrooms and laundry facilities. The staff was friendly and check-in was easy. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed Bandon very much. The only thing I would have changed is that I wish it was closer to town and the harbor. Great place for an overnight or a longer stay. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park in quiet location. Long, wide pull-through sites with gravel pads. Exceptional washrooms, shower, and laundry area. The owners are friendly and helpful who care about their park and their guests. They provide helpful information on places to go and things to see. Would definitely come back. It's a jewel of a find. Very nice clean park and the owner works hard on the landscaping. There are a number of permanent units in the park but that was no problem. The sites are wide, and pull-throughs are available. The traffic pattern was rather poorly thought out but not a real problem. There were no overhead trees or branches. Bandon itself seems to be a tourist town with all that implies. There are a number or interesting beaches and light houses fairly close by. Too cold for swimming, of course, unless you are a penguin. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has become an amazing, beautiful. well run park. The pull thru sites are easy to get into with long pads. Each site has full hookups including cable. The showers are extra clean and plenty of room to set out your clothes, enjoy a shower and dry off. Only 1 shower in the men's room. The main road to the sites is asphalt with the side rooms asphalt. Plenty of room for slide outs and a wooden picnic table at each site. No trees yet so hooking up the dish or direct tv is a snap. I gave a 9 as only the first 8 or so pads are cement and the rest gravel. I had a gravel site but didn't have to use any blocks to level. Another great park to stay during your travels up and down Highway 101 in Oregon. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great park for overnight or extended stays. The pull-thru sites were very adequate. What I really liked about the pull-thru was that the hook-ups were situated in the middle of the site and not at the end, allowing for shorter lengths of cable and hoses to be used. We had very good cable TV and Wi-Fi reception. The showers were some of the cleanest we've seen to date. If you're a golfer, this park is very conveniently located within a few miles of some great golf courses. We didn't use the laundry facility, so can't rate that. We would definitely use this park again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Lovely park with large, level paved sites including fire ring and picnic table. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet. No speed bumps. No pull throughs. Friendly and easy back-ins. No over the air TV signal, adequate Verizon signal. Good recycling program; aluminum cans, glass, cardboard, newsprint, milk jugs. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

An odd mix of RV spaces and what appears to be extended stay and full timers. Staff was friendly and helpful and facilities were in good working order. Somewhat bare in appearance as landscaping is young and minimal, not what you would expect in Oregon. Location is distant from just about everything. No access to beach and no views. This was a delightful park. The couple in the front office were so personable and friendly. The Wi-Fi and cable were some of the best we have encountered. The bathrooms are set up so that there are individual private rooms with both shower and toilet. The laundry room is exceptionally clean with an iron and ironing board to use. They have books and DVDs and tapes to borrow. All in all, I plan on returning for an extended stay. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The price reflects the Camp Club USA discount. This is a nice little park and is well laid out with poured pads and gravel interior roads. The full timers that I met walking the dog were a friendly bunch and fun to talk with. There is no shade as the trees are too small as yet. The owner/managers were a hoot and there is a small store in the office. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were here for a week. Rate is reflective. Owner is very helpful. The road from the front to the back of the park is asphalt and ends at a cell phone tower. The other roads are gravel. Spaces 14 through 30 are for those passing through. The others are occupied by permanent residents. The owners are expanding the park by adding 12 more spaces. They are to be ready by August 15, 2010. There are 4 restrooms in one building at the back of the park. They are small and contain a shower, toilet and sink. One of the restrooms was out of order during our stay. There is a large grass area in the middle of the park to walk pets. The laundry is toward the front of the park and has 6 washers/dryers. Parks is about 2 miles south of town. We enjoyed our stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an older park with a GREAT staff. We stayed two days. The site was gravel and the grass was pretty much dead. Facilities looked a little rough but everytime we saw a staff member, they were great. The park is about 1/2 mile off the beach so no water views but it the wind blew most of the time and even in late July, it was quite cold. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Really just a parking lot RV park. Almost like being in Arizona, except for the trees around the back fence. Sites are very narrow but long. Pull-thrus in the front area, but next to the highway, though night noise seemed okay. Best thing about this place is the closeness to Old Town and the harbor, a few blocks away, so you don't have to drive. And a great little natural foods place is next door, plus the local shopping center and grocery store. Park managers are very nice, cable tv is excellent. Didn't get a strong wifi signal so used my aircard. Only one shower per gender, with 2 toilets but they weren't used much and were kept very clean. Escapees discount of 25% during off-season makes this a good deal overall if you don't mind your neighbor being inches away; $26 is regular rate . Best to call ahead and reserve in the summer. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice owner! I stayed on a concrete pad (very nice) with a grassy area and table. Close to great rocky beaches and state park, boardwalk restaurants, and grocery stores. Nice little town! Clean and almost new laundry facility. Not many "things to do" in the RV park but then again, you visit Bandon to see the wonderful beaches and eat lots of seafood! But, they do have a hot tub!!! Some sites are concrete pads while others are gravel. Our pad was level. Lots of grass around the campground with what looked like a playing field in the middle. It was raining pretty hard during our stay and grass around our pad got soggy, so better drainage needed. Good Cable TV and WIFI. Manager was friendly and informative. She let us help ourselves to her books as her library was overflowing. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A quiet country setting with large wide sites. An older park that has been greatly expanded and is still in the process of finishing; gravel sites, gravel roads and undeveloped grassy areas between sites. The laundry facilities are new (five washers & 6 dryers). The manager/owner was very friendly and accommodating. It is a good park for extended stays because of the many sightseeing opportunities along the ocean and in Old Town Bandon. It is also a good park for overnighters because of its closeness to US101. This is a small park adjacent to Hwy 101 and just north of Old Town Brandon. Paved interior roads with level gravel sites. Pull-thrus are very close together, enough room for slide-outs but not for an awning. Good power and water hook-ups with free cable (97 channels) and very strong free WiFi. The office staff was very friendly and helped park our rig. Anything over 40' with a tow might have a bit of trouble in this small park, but it's OK for an overnight stay. Not a park for families with children. We'd stay here again; the rate reflects a 15% Escapees discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate shown available if you call ahead to make a reservation and ask for the Good Sam special rate. Site was a level gravel back-in. The manager escorted us to our site. I had to change sites as first one showed an open ground on the power. Excellent cable TV and Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi good enough for Skype calls. No privacy between sites. Road noise from highway was very noticeable. Good value, but I would not spend more than one night again if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a clean park with highway noise, since it fronts on Highway 101. Sites are gravel, level, narrow, and closely spaced, with no shade. Very basic, simple park along noisy 101 but very nice managers who take care of it. Rating it higher than deserves because they support the Escapees club and give a 15% discount, so price was $21 in off-season. Excellent cable TV line-up, VZ air card and cable were fine. Had a nice hot shower but only one, and 2 toilets per gender. Has a good little laundry room. Easy access to Old Town: walk or bike, if the weather is ok. Has long narrow sites, could be too close during summer season. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I stayed here two nights directly after I bought my new 5th wheel. The staff was very polite and helpful. I even had a ground guide to the RV site. The park is right in the heart of Bandon and only a few blocks from the beach area. I would stay here again and recommend this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

What the park lacks in amenities, it is more than reached by the care, consideration and total professionalism of the couple that run it. The grounds are cleaned daily, don't know about the bathrooms/laundry as we didn't use them. The caretakers were extremely accommodating. We would definitely stay there again. A parking lot-type of campground within walking distance of the Bandon Shopping Center and Old Town. The bathrooms have 2 stalls and 1 shower apiece and they're very clean and have timed heaters and a massage-option shower head. There is road noise from 101 but I've experienced much worse. This is a nice, small park -- the only one in Bandon city limits. Central location, but right on the highway and very noisy all night long. It's a gravel parking lot, no landscaping, close to neighbors. Great WiFi though. Nothing really wrong with it, except the traffic noise, but we'll stay at Bullard's Beach SP next time. This is Bandon's only downtown RV Park. The park is located North of "Old Town Bandon" just off HWY 101. The town is a nice fun little harbor town. The Bandon Fish Market has great Fish & Chips and Clam Chowder. It is a nice friendly, fairly quite, destination park. If you like to fish or just want to relax on Oregon's Coast, this is a inexpensive place to stay. We stayed for a month for $342 including electricity. The staff/management were friendly and helpful. This is a small RV park so the Wi-Fi signal on top of the office works well for all sites. The cable TV had a great signal and had around 70 channels. The on-site laundry facilities were adequate for a park of this size (4 washers/4 dryers). We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Cool reception upon arrival by owners. Laundry in poor condition and what ever happened to the train they rave about. We saw it dumped and broken in the barn. Sites are very shady and in late August we had requested a sunny site, didn't get it though. The TV had only 2 channels and when we asked about it the owner said he would check into it, he never did. We were here 3 nights. Would not stay here again. Their ice cream socials are less than social! Drive to everything from here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed for 3 months. This park was very well kept and the rest rooms and showers were immaculately clean. The management was very friendly and helpful. The RV spaces were very spacious. The park is far enough from the more traveled roads that it is extremely quiet. It is just a short distance to the beach, which makes for a nice daily walk. I would highly recommend this park . They do have weekly and monthly rates. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Looked and sounded better than it was/is. We made reservations and were charged full amount over a month prior to arrival. Beach is not 1/4 mile away. Access to beach is almost a one mile walk. Manager very unfriendly and very "nit picky". No instructions on arrival on anything, not even the restroom/shower "codes". Pets stay free but not very pet friendly. Will not return. We camped in a class C MH. This could be a very nice RV park with a little work and friendlier management. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed during "off season" over Thanksgiving Holiday. Loop "A" and Loop "B" were closed, so all visitors were in Loop "C." The sites were fairly roomy, but neighboring sites are readily visible, and some noise from other tenants was heard during the day. Roads were asphalt with asphalt parking pads, but they were quite narrow, making it difficult to keep from tracking leaves/pine needles from the damp ground into the RV. Restrooms were clean as was the separate shower room. There was minimal heat in the shower room, but it was well insulated, so was not too bad. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I didn't realize how great Oregon State Parks were until I traveled in California! $20 for a full hookup and the same for just W&E, off season rate, is pretty amazing. Add in comfortable, clean restrooms, garbage bin at entrance, and beautiful scenery and you can have a very nice stay. Park is very well maintained, infrastructure is top notch. Stayed two nights. Very nice Oregon State campground, easy to maneuver in, and options are great, tenting, RV sites, or yurts. The $20 RV site cost is an off-season price. Clean RV sites, yurts, tenting area,horse camp, as well as showers and restrooms is something the Bullards Beach staff pride themselves on. It is nice to have several volunteers who are knowledgeable about the area as well. The volunteers work hard to keep the campground clean and tidy. Definitely a "must return to" vacation spot. Great park with most sites well screened by shrubs and trees. Clean and newer bathrooms with showers included in camp fee. 2 mile road and path to historic Coquille Lighthouse. Miles of sand beach and evidently very popular Dungeness crabbing area. Separate horse camp with trails through the dunes. Right outside Bandon By The Sea and the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Got hear after labor day and they are still crowded, met some retired couples that were out for their 3 days (SP rules) and now back for another 14. We ended up in the C loop at a site without sewer, but it was a large corner site, so it was worth it. Mosquitoes are still a problem, even with the strong winds. Oregon has the best state parks in the nation. This park has to be the best one! Clean, well maintained, geared towards family and children, and it has excellent friendly staff. Had to book our reservations early to get a good spot. It is a short drive to the ocean (about a mile), two miles to the lighthouse, and 4 miles to town (Bandon). Bandon puts on a great Fourth of July celebration, from their parade to the fireworks. We have stayed at this park numerous times and will be back again next year. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great campground in spite of the time we had. First of all, Bandon is a great coastal town to visit with lots of attractions nearby (such as Shore Acres). However, our time at this campsite was complicated by wet, dreary, humid weather with a horde of mosquitoes that attacked us whenever we went outside. The campground is large and separated into three loops. The A loop looks like the oldest loop, has only 30 amp and is a bit more bog-like. The B (best of both loops: not so boggy and not so open) and C loop has 30/50 amp hook-ups. The C loop is more open and more sandy with less privacy between sites, but still quite nice. Many of the sites in B loop are at a 90 degrees off of the loop roads and can't be accessed by a trailer larger than 17 feet long. Also, many of the sites don't have sewer hook-ups. Most of loop C doesn't as well. Having said that, we enjoyed the camp. Lots of people. Lots of tent campers. The beach is a short mile walk from the campsite. The bathrooms were clean and the showers seemed clean, but nothing special. Overall, a fairly good campground, near a great little tourist town on the coast. We would definitely come back, but perhaps later in the summer with the possibility of more sun and less mosquitoes. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Oregon parks are well-run and Bullards Beach was no exception. A larger park, sites are made private by shrubs, and most sites are in heavily treed areas with table and fire ring. Some of the inner loop roads can be tricky and satellite RV can be iffy unless you have a portable dish. Verizon cell and data worked well. A long hike to the beach, but a trip to visit the lighthouse makes it worthwhile. Bandon is the most attractive town in the area, with good shopping and restaurants. An active "Junior Ranger" program and evening programs during the summer are a plus. For big rigs, "C" loop offers the most easily accessed sites. We'll stay here again. Camp personnel were very friendly. Park was clean. We didn't use the bathrooms. Spaces were fairly level and electric, water and sewer hookups were easy to access. Spaces are good size with a good amount of privacy on most. Cons are: beach too far to walk to, mosquitoes so bad you could not enjoy the outdoors at all, and it was very windy. We feel chased out of here by the mosquitoes and had to forfeit one nights stay plus an $8 cancellation fee. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Came west to the Oregon coast to escape the heat in the Grants Pass area. This was a nice find. Spaces were close but private (plants and bushes provided division between sites). Asphalt pads that were relatively level. Good water pressure and electrical voltage. Quiet at night and great access to the beach by driving on park roads. This was a nice park that was close to Bandon, shopping, sightseeing and good food. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice Oregon State park. There are many deep sites for big rigs, all have water and electric and some have full hookups. There are 3 loops, A & B loops generally have more trees and privacy. We could not see our neighbors from our site, B-1. C loop is nice too but there is less vegetation between sites for privacy. The park put on programs nearly every day. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Our site was freshly raked and spotless when we arrived. The trail to the beach was 3/4 mile and difficult due to soft beach sand on the whole trail but there are easy beach accesses that you can drive to close by. The town of Bandon has a great waterfront park and docks and very good crabbing. The park hosts did a wonderful job here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice campground although the site dimensions seem to be overstated. Showers are push button with no temp control. C loop has the largest sites. Some have sewer, all have electricity and water. Excellent campground. Loop C was the only loop open when we were here, and it had plenty of sites for big rigs. Most of the sites in Loop C do not have sewer connections, and it was somewhat congested in the section that does. We stayed in the water/electric-only section. Good 50 amp power. All sites are back-ins. Paved roads, paved sites. Weak Verizon data signal (1xRTT only, no EVDO), but a good voice signal. Great trails in the park. We gorged on huckleberries as we walked. For the price, this is a fantastic Oregon state park! Beautiful, large, private sites, some shady and some sunny ones. The boat dock was a short 2 minute, drive away. The town of Bandon is less than 10 minutes away. The restrooms and showers were very clean. No Wi-Fi, but cell signal was good (Verizon). We stayed in B loop, with full hook-ups. This is a beautiful campground with many trees, shrubs and hiking and biking trails. You gotta love Oregon State Parks with their beauty and hookups that most State Parks don't offer. The walk to the ocean beach is long but you can walk to the Coquille River launch area and dock in a short distance. A bike ride to the beach is easy. We had reservations and stayed one night in the A Loop which is nice and private with large trees, asphalt parking pad and 30amp/water. Some of these spots may not accommodate a 35'-40'+ rig and toad, we have a 33' Class A with no toad. There are sites with Full hook-ups. The C loop is more open and newer with 50amp service but less trees, shrubs and privacy. There is no store on site and I saw no ice sales. Rangers were friendly. We will return for a longer stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful area and probably the most friendly, competent staff of any park I've ever been to. Calling it "big rig friendly" is a stretch but there are some places you can get into. Only about a 5 minute drive to Bandon which is a nice little town. We rented crab pots and bait from downtown and the kids had an absolute blast crabbing in town on the wharf and at and the park's boat dock. The store will clean and cook your crab for like 75 cents, neat place! AT&T worked on expanded network mode (but very slow) and Verizon was no problem. Would stay here again for sure. One note for those with kids: Oregon has a new law requiring kids under 16 to wear helmets on bicycles. The rangers enforce this. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I love Oregon State parks. They are clean, well maintained and well patrolled. We stayed here for 5 nights and had a RV site and a tent site. If you like privacy, the A & B loops are best. For groups or a more open camp sites try the C loop. They had fun campfire shows and Jr. Ranger programs. It's about 1 mile to the beach so you don't get the sound of the waves, but you also don't get the shore breeze. Very nice! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay, the reservation system is great, check in is quick. Our site had the remnants of the previous campers' dog. We didn't enjoy picking up that!! There is a "no smoking" rule for all buildings, but someone was constantly smoking in the ladies lav. These are just small complaints, our overall experience was very good. We enjoyed the evening concert performed by a local bluegrass band at the amphitheater. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We came to this park after visiting Beverly Beach, Carl G Washburn and Sunset Bay state parks. Although it is an excellent state park, it does not measure up to the previous three. Its a long walk to the beach through soft sand for most of the way. Yes, the beach is glorious. The sites are attractive with good separation between most sites. Its a short walk to a lovely view across the Coquille River. The beach at nearby Bandon has some of the most spectacular scenery of the entire Oregon coast. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This fits the standard of Oregon State parks. We have camped at several and love them all. The rangers are sharp and accommodating. The sites on B loop have lots of trees and vegetation, so there is a lot of privacy. C loop was closed for renovation. We only camped one night, so we didn't tour the entire campground, but what we saw was very clean and well kept. The sites are fairly level and access was easy. I can't say enough for Oregon State Parks, they are truly one of the best places to stay if you like real camping. I only rated it a "9" because nothing is totally perfect, but this is close. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We are big fans of Oregon State Parks, however this was our least favorite. It was large, but very far from the ocean. The name is pretty deceptive. Even when we drove to the beach, the hike over the dune was steep and almost impossible for our 4 year old. There is some bike trails but they weren't maintained as well as other parks we've stayed at. The asphalt was bumpy and broken. We picked a spot next to the playground but my kids informed me that it was the most boring playground they have ever played on. If in the area again, I think we will try someplace else. The table and fire pit were in good condition. Access to the camp is easy. The beach was about 1.5 miles away and was easier to drive to. The winter rate was $22.50 with Good Sam discount. A pleasant, simple park just off US 101. Good 50 amp power. Very long, wide pull-through packed gravel sites, as well as some back-ins. It was very easy to navigate the interior roads with a big rig and toad. The water pressure at our site was low (around 30 PSI). Excellent Verizon voice and 3G data service. This was a good location for exploring the sights from Bandon to Port Orford. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very basic park, nothing fancy. Gravel sites, cement bathrooms and showers, and all hooks ups, though the 30 amp service did not work at our site, but the 20 amp sufficed. They only have one washer and dryer, both of which are expensive and the latter not very effective. The highway noise would have been bothersome had it not been for the intense rain all night. This a small RV park on the south side of Bandon adjacent to Hwy 101. The sites are basically gravel and are level. Good 50amp electrical but the water pressure is too low (35psi). If you use a GPS and plug in the address you may find it will take you to the north side of Bandon about 6 miles away. Your best bet is to use Hwy 101 and the intersection of Beach Loop Rd as your way point. If going north on the 101 turn left on Beach Loop Rd with entrance to the park on the left about 1/2 blk west. It's not advisable (or legal for that matter) to turn into the entrance off Hwy 101 south of Beach Loop Rd unless your going southbound. The park really has no amenities but is a nice stopover for a day or two. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I liked this park alot for the easy pull-through sites. They are very long and staggered which gave me privacy along side my rig. Nothing fancy about the park but with my rig and tow car we felt we had ample space and privacy. Very short drive to the beaches and town. There was only one washer and dryer in the laundry area but I was parked close enough that I did get my laundry done conveniently. I would definitely stay here again. Managers were very helpful.
