Very good park overall. Within 2 miles to downtown and the beach. Easy access to pull-thru sites, the site was very wide and included a park bench. We stayed four days here in October and would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is an older park with a GREAT staff. We stayed two days. The site was gravel and the grass was pretty much dead. Facilities looked a little rough but everytime we saw a staff member, they were great. The park is about 1/2 mile off the beach so no water views but it the wind blew most of the time and even in late July, it was quite cold. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Really just a parking lot RV park. Almost like being in Arizona, except for the trees around the back fence. Sites are very narrow but long. Pull-thrus in the front area, but next to the highway, though night noise seemed okay. Best thing about this place is the closeness to Old Town and the harbor, a few blocks away, so you don't have to drive. And a great little natural foods place is next door, plus the local shopping center and grocery store. Park managers are very nice, cable tv is excellent. Didn't get a strong wifi signal so used my aircard. Only one shower per gender, with 2 toilets but they weren't used much and were kept very clean. Escapees discount of 25% during off-season makes this a good deal overall if you don't mind your neighbor being inches away; $26 is regular rate . Best to call ahead and reserve in the summer. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice owner! I stayed on a concrete pad (very nice) with a grassy area and table. Close to great rocky beaches and state park, boardwalk restaurants, and grocery stores. Nice little town! Clean and almost new laundry facility. Not many "things to do" in the RV park but then again, you visit Bandon to see the wonderful beaches and eat lots of seafood! But, they do have a hot tub!!! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Some sites are concrete pads while others are gravel. Our pad was level. Lots of grass around the campground with what looked like a playing field in the middle. It was raining pretty hard during our stay and grass around our pad got soggy, so better drainage needed. Good Cable TV and WIFI. Manager was friendly and informative. She let us help ourselves to her books as her library was overflowing. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Friendly people, nice small park, new, clean, laundry, pull thru's and back in. Rec room, spa, office for watching tv. Near nice boardwalk area, beach loop road recommended for sighseeing, whale watching. Nice small town. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a nice park with helpful office staff. The sites are pull thru and full hookup. The sites are gravel and long. The park is far enough from 101 to be quiet with no road noise. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A quiet country setting with large wide sites. An older park that has been greatly expanded and is still in the process of finishing; gravel sites, gravel roads and undeveloped grassy areas between sites. The laundry facilities are new (five washers & 6 dryers). The manager/owner was very friendly and accommodating. It is a good park for extended stays because of the many sightseeing opportunities along the ocean and in Old Town Bandon. It is also a good park for overnighters because of its closeness to US101. We would stay here again and would recommend it. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a small park adjacent to Hwy 101 and just north of Old Town Brandon. Paved interior roads with level gravel sites. Pull-thrus are very close together, enough room for slide-outs but not for an awning. Good power and water hook-ups with free cable (97 channels) and very strong free WiFi. The office staff was very friendly and helped park our rig. Anything over 40' with a tow might have a bit of trouble in this small park, but it's OK for an overnight stay. Not a park for families with children. We'd stay here again; the rate reflects a 15% Escapees discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Expanding with some sites with new grass yet to come up. Gravel pads. Lots of room and easy access to Bandon. On 101 but very little road noise. Would return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
What the park lacks in amenities, it is more than reached by the care, consideration and total professionalism of the couple that run it. The grounds are cleaned daily, don't know about the bathrooms/laundry as we didn't use them. The caretakers were extremely accommodating. We would definitely stay there again. We had passed it up many times in the past. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I pretty much agree with what most other reviewers have said - nice park, good facilities and sites, walking distance to town, etc - except for the traffic noise complaints. Being an true urban dweller, I just don't notice it. Very good for overnight and probably good for a few days to see the local sights. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A parking lot-type of campground within walking distance of the Bandon Shopping Center and Old Town. The bathrooms have 2 stalls and 1 shower apiece and they're very clean and have timed heaters and a massage-option shower head. There is road noise from 101 but I've experienced much worse. Friendly and helpful management. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a nice, small park -- the only one in Bandon city limits. Central location, but right on the highway and very noisy all night long. It's a gravel parking lot, no landscaping, close to neighbors. Great WiFi though. Nothing really wrong with it, except the traffic noise, but we'll stay at Bullard's Beach SP next time. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is Bandon's only downtown RV Park. The park is located North of "Old Town Bandon" just off HWY 101. The town is a nice fun little harbor town. The Bandon Fish Market has great Fish & Chips and Clam Chowder. It is a nice friendly, fairly quite, destination park. If you like to fish or just want to relax on Oregon's Coast, this is a inexpensive place to stay. We stayed for a month for $342 including electricity. The staff/management were friendly and helpful. This is a small RV park so the Wi-Fi signal on top of the office works well for all sites. The cable TV had a great signal and had around 70 channels. The on-site laundry facilities were adequate for a park of this size (4 washers/4 dryers). We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Cool reception upon arrival by owners. Laundry in poor condition and what ever happened to the train they rave about. We saw it dumped and broken in the barn. Sites are very shady and in late August we had requested a sunny site, didn't get it though. The TV had only 2 channels and when we asked about it the owner said he would check into it, he never did. We were here 3 nights. Would not stay here again. Their ice cream socials are less than social! Drive to everything from here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We made a mistake in booking here. We had wanted Bullards Bar. If you go to Bandon, go there instead, there is no comparison. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Manager was VERY rude. Sewer smells. We ended up leaving after the sheriff came and arrested the people next to us for metanphetamine. Stay away!! We camped here in a Motorhome.
At one time was obviously a nice place but has clearly deteriorated. Poor maintenance. Even so, has easy access to Bandon beach areas and old town. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Might have been nice at one time but now it is quite run down. Lots of weeds, dirty restrooms and showers. But...good price and good location. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Looked and sounded better than it was/is. We made reservations and were charged full amount over a month prior to arrival. Beach is not 1/4 mile away. Access to beach is almost a one mile walk. Manager very unfriendly and very "nit picky". No instructions on arrival on anything, not even the restroom/shower "codes". Pets stay free but not very pet friendly. Will not return. We camped in a class C MH. This could be a very nice RV park with a little work and friendlier management. We camped here in a Motorhome.
It is a very nice park, with lots of areas to walk your dog. There is lots to do in nearby Bandon. We spent 10 nights there. There are friendly Hosts and Park Rangers. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We came to this park after visiting Beverly Beach, Carl G Washburn and Sunset Bay state parks. Although it is an excellent state park, it does not measure up to the previous three. Its a long walk to the beach through soft sand for most of the way. Yes, the beach is glorious. The sites are attractive with good separation between most sites. Its a short walk to a lovely view across the Coquille River. The beach at nearby Bandon has some of the most spectacular scenery of the entire Oregon coast. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We love Oregon State Parks, but this one isn't one of our favorites. Lots of dry weeds and it lacked that lush forested feeling. Spaces were wide enough but most lacked much privacy. Great area for sight seeing --- beautiful coast line, light house nearby, hiking trails. Good seafood in the little town of Bandon. We camped here in a Motorhome.
One of the nicer state parks. We always try to stop here. They did suffer a lot of storm damage from the Dec 3rd wind storms. Lots of trees and branches down, but clean up well under way. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Quiet, well kept park. No TV or Wifi if you need such things. Very woodsy and has a primitive feeling. Short drive to Bandon and other larger cities. Just a very good experience. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This fits the standard of Oregon State parks. We have camped at several and love them all. The rangers are sharp and accommodating. The sites on B loop have lots of trees and vegetation, so there is a lot of privacy. C loop was closed for renovation. We only camped one night, so we didn't tour the entire campground, but what we saw was very clean and well kept. The sites are fairly level and access was easy. I can't say enough for Oregon State Parks, they are truly one of the best places to stay if you like real camping. I only rated it a "9" because nothing is totally perfect, but this is close. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Really a nice park. Lots of trees. If you have a big rig, get reservations, this place was full when we arrived at 4pm. We parked a 35' in a 25' space, so the spaces are large. The water is a long walk away and it isn't the ocean, but that was OK. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We are big fans of Oregon State Parks, however this was our least favorite. It was large, but very far from the ocean. The name is pretty deceptive. Even when we drove to the beach, the hike over the dune was steep and almost impossible for our 4 year old. There is some bike trails but they weren't maintained as well as other parks we've stayed at. The asphalt was bumpy and broken. We picked a spot next to the playground but my kids informed me that it was the most boring playground they have ever played on. If in the area again, I think we will try someplace else. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very nice shaded and separated camp sites, good paved roads and washrooms. Only negative is that the beach is several miles away and there is a high ridge of sand dunes between the parking and the beach. We camped here in a Motorhome.
One of our favorites! We stay here often. The town of Bandon is fun. Crabbing is great! Lots of hiking trails. The Lighthouse tours are enlightening. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The state campground sites in this state are amazing. We love staying at the state parks. We stayed with relatives who stayed in a tent. Site was big enough for the camper, tent, and two vehicles. It was easy to get into and out of and level. Privacy wasn't much, but neighbors didn't bother us. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Typical Oregon State Park. Sites in A and B loops are more private and have full hookups. C loop is crowded and sites have little visual separation. Only 20amp power is available. Great park for beach access and biking. Coquille River lighthouse is in this park but presently has only limited access to interior. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice Oregon State Park camping. Some of the spots can be challenging to get into with a larger 5th wheel, but is quite nice once you get in. Admittedly, the beach is a bit of a walk, just take the nice scenic ride and visit the lighthouse on the way. No complaints, we will be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We think Oregon has the best state parks of any state we have visited (29 so far). Would definitely state here again, a short walk to a beautiful beach! We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here 2 days over the 4th of July and found the park rangers friendly and very helpful. It is a nice state park. We enjoyed the fireworks display from nearby City of Bandon. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
This campground is quite nice. Most sites are separated by bushes and are spaced so each site was quite private. Our site had full hookups and was nicely shaded but sunny too. The table and fire pit were in good condition. Access to the camp is easy. The beach was about 1.5 miles away and was easier to drive to. The Bandon lighthouse was down the same road that took you to the beach. We would stay here again. Nice campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice park, lots of room between sites. Close to beach, town, restaurants, lighthouse. The rest rooms seem few and far between. The hot water was plentiful. Watch out for racoons stealing your eggs from the cooler left outside! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Beautiful area. Great for hiking or walking to the beach & lighthouse. This was our second time in this park & we would not hesitate to return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a well maintained RV park. During Summer, it has a nightly program at 7:30 between Tuesday and Sunday. On the nights we stayed, they had "History of Bandan", "Staring gazing", and "Story of beaver." We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice campground. Easy walk to the ocean beach. Bandon is a very nice town to visit, shop and eat. Bandon has a very unique golf course, all sand. Nice place for short relaxing visit on Oregon Coast. Will be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice Oregon State Park. Very busy in the summer months. Paved roads and sites. Rules
enforced by park rangers. Tents allowed at all sites. Not all sites have sewer hookups. Campfires allowed at all campsites. Close to city of Bandon and
beaches. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Good check in. Very busy campground in summer. Best campsites are in the "A" loop with the hookups as they are spaced farther apart and very wooded. All paved roads and paved sites. Has group camping available and "Yurts". Park rules are enforced. Nature and singing programs at night in the ampitheater. Four miles north of Bandon. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
