Nice clean and well maintained park. We stay here every year for a week and have always had a great time. Pet friendly and fairly quiet. Easy access to anything you would want to do in the Portland area. Will be back every year. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a great RV city park and about as close as you can get to downtown Portland (about 12 miles). The place was clean, quiet, friendly, very nice landscaping. Has pull-throughs, although you need to unhook once you're in to park your car on the pad next to your RV. Spots are concrete with very grassy spacious area and picnic table, smaller shade trees, nice/clean if you have pets and it happens to rain. Landscaping was very nice, a large duck pond and grassy area on a lower level. It's a huge park but it doesn't appear to be at all, as it's broken up into several levels. We stayed on the top level and it was pretty quiet (airport and road noise and all). I'd probably avoid the lower areas nearest the train. We did hear the train but it wasn't bothersome. There appear to be a fair number of longterm residents but it didn't have the feel of a "longterm" or creepy place, nearly all RVs were in quite good condition. Staff there were very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

One year ago, this was our first-ever Good Sam experience. It was so positive, we stayed again this year while visiting relatives, and we were just as happy. Lots of clean laundry machines, clean bathrooms, friendly staff constantly working, tons of flowers, lagoon w/ fountain. Note: Sites along highway entrance are too noisy, so request one elsewhere. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park was once a 10 park, but is showing its age. Power failures, cracked concrete, narrow sites, poorly maintained grass, trees. Flowering plants are good. Office staff is not up to par. After all this is a retail business, where the customer should be their first concern. I always stay on the second level, as the lower level is too close to the RR tracks, and the top level too close to the road. The laundry is cramped lacking air-conditioning. Stayed 5 days. Will look else where. Its a shame the park reflects negatively on such a great City. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is very nice but the location near the industrial area and near the railroad tracks makes other parks more appealing. We booked a weekly and after an accident required us to stay longer we asked it be changed to monthly. Owners unwilling to do so unless we stayed a full month after our week stay. Inflexible owners made the rating drop from 7 to 5. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Really nice campground, but the owners are quite stuffy. There is no designated pet area, so I asked where we should take them. They said anywhere, just pick up after them. Next day, the wife passes by, and says, "I hope he isn't wetting on my plants!" Also, the power went out in the row we were staying in! They told me not to run all of our air units! Excuse me? Isn't this a 50 amp park? IMO, not people or dog friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed many times in this park, but only for 2 to 4 days. Always got a pull through site although some are tighter than others. This time we were assigned a back in site. (Yes I can back my trailer up.) However the site was under a tree that would be pushing against the back of the trailer not to mention the junk coming off the tree that when it got wet would turn into stuff like large bird droppings. I had just spent many bucks having my trailer detailed. Went back to the office and were assigned a spot next to the RRtrack. (No problem). However the site was between two of the junkiest trailers I have ever seen. Not sure we will stay here again. Apparently the management does not look out after repeat customers. Large, clean & well maintained Park. Sewer connections are very far back & management is very strict about sewer hose not touching the ground. Came by to enforce this rule. Train noise all day and night long which appears to almost run thru the Park (50yds away). Came by every 2hrs during the night and about every hour during the day. Left 2 days earlier than planned. Will not return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A fairly large park that is not very close to Portland (10 miles) but beautifully maintained. Most of the park has monthly campers, but even in the height of the summer season, I was able to get a pull through site. Excellent Internet. Pool seems rather small until you realize that this area of the county is not as hot as most places. Has a pretty little duck pond which is a great place for picnics. There is noise from nearby Interstate highway and railroad trains, which I was prepared for. However, both days I was here, we were underneath the approach for PDX, which was a surprise. Shopping, including a 24-hour Wal-Mart is minutes away without having to go on the Interstate and Multnomah Falls, one of the states great attractions, is only two exits away. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Though beautifully landscaped grounds, the office staff was unfriendly and not helpful. Upon checkin we were given the code for Wi-Fi and were not told that it wasn't working. The next day it was supposedly repaired, but over the course of 3 days we were connected to the internet for about an hour total. We had to go to the site of a camp host to retrieve a map of the area and restaurants. Camp hosts were particularly helpful since we got no help from office staff. We almost left a day earlier than we had planned. Close to Wal-Mart and Camping World. We will not return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Large, clean, well maintained secure park. Level sites. Good for big rigs. Wi-Fi was spotty. You have to keep logging in constantly. Trains run at all hours of the day and night right behind the park. There is a bus stop right outside of park. The park is located in a semi-residential, industrial area. You have to drive everywhere. No shopping close by. There is cable TV but the channel selection is minimal and probably not ones that you watch at home. Fitness room is used, left over equipment. Would not stay here again because of location. Caters mostly to older retired people. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Great for an overnight or a couple nights, but not much staying power for longer. Park is along a street that includes mostly business' and industrial companies. They have nice small strips of green for your pooches, lots of recycle bins, very clean (rows of roses are a nice touch), nice cement pads for rig and side pad for car, good cable though limited, and good Wi-Fi. The trains can be noisy, but don't come often; shopping is a bit of a drive. The hosts are nice and once I left the office I wasn't bothered. About a mile from I-84. Dumpsters are sparse, but centrally located. You will have to unhook your car if your rig is longer than 36'. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

First the bad news. This place is noisy. The top of the park is bordered by a very busy road. The park is under the landing path of the busy airport. The bottom of the park is bordered by a RxR track. The good news. The pads are cement that is in good shape with a second pad for your tow vehicle. The utilities are also in good shape. The park grounds are mature with beautiful trees and flowers. The trees can be a problem for dish users. I would ask for the middle level. It seems to have a little less road noise. Easy access from Interstate 84 East of Portland. I would stay here again but ask for the middle level. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed in this park 8 nights. It was sparkling clean and seemed to be very well managed. The sites provided adequate width but were too short to park my club-cab pickup in front of my 38' 5th wheel. I was able to park my truck nearby in an empty site. Cable TV was provided but we chose to use our rig's TV antenna to pick up the nearby Portland stations. We were visiting family so chose to use their Internet rather that whatever was available in the park. We would stay in this park again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Not a bad place to spend the night. There were tons of empty spots. Good place to go for a walk and take pictures of the pretty flowers and pond. The railroad runs right across the bottom of the park, but they put overnighters up near the top. The trains were not at all obnoxious, no whistles, just rumbling by in the distance. Some airport noise, but again, not bad. Good Wi-Fi, but the cable left a lot to be desired. Very fuzzy satellite feed. Lots of trees, very pleasant. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very neat, well-run park with the best after-hours check-in system I have ever seen. The camp host was waiting for us, showed us to our site, supervised our parking and made sure we had everything we needed. The restrooms and showers are immaculate, the sites are level and have well maintained grass and mature trees. Free cable includes HBO. Easy access to downtown Portland, nearby Camping World. Will definitely stay here again when we are in Portland. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Clean easy access RV Park. People were very friendly and helpful. Nice clean well kept sites. Picnic tables however need some attention but at least all sites have one. Beautiful trees and flowers everywhere. Groceries are a few blocks away at Walmart. Disappointed to see that they allowed people to build steps/porches onto their units making it look like a homestead area instead of a RV park. I would recommend this park. It was nice. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

Very nice clean park with long paved pull throughs. Good utilities. Just a few blocks off of I-84. Good paved interior roads. Wi-Fi and cable worked well. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Unfortunately we hit this park in real bad weather so it was hard to get a great feel for the park. They advertise being Pet friendly, yet they have no official dog area and are very strict about dogs being on leash. Saw the caretakers several times giving a bad time for dogs being off leash. I have no problems with strict dog rules however you must provide adequate dog run areas, their camp layout shows you a dog run at the lower lever, however full timers are parked and back on to this so called run area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very clean and well maintained large park with large level sites. Each site has a concrete drive way and patio. The Wi-Fi worked well. Staff was friendly. Has quite a few full time residents but all sites are neat and tidy. All interior roads are wide and paved in excellent condition. Rate reflects weekly with discounts. This park is in my top 10 list. We will be back! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects pay 6 nights, 7th is free with Good Sam discount. We stayed here in 2005 and found it a great park. It is still a great park. Very friendly staff. The park is quiet with the exception of the plane noise, but not bad enough to give it a bad rating. We will definitely stay here again, when visiting the Portland area. We were very pleased with this park. The staff in the office were friendly and efficient. The facilities were complete and many were recently upgraded. Many sites had new concrete pads. There are many permanent residents but they made us feel welcome. The pool was clean and refreshing on a hot day. Showers were clean, had lots of room and were free. We'd would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very well kept park. Paved roads, concrete pad and patio with grass between and table. Personnel were friendly and helpful. We were able to wash our motorhome for $5.00. Pool, clubhouse, and fitness room available. We were in site 71 and didn't hear the trains from inside. Park sits on the Portland Airport flight path. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice and maintained campground. Staff is friendly and they make sure that you adhere to the rules. Roads are paved and all sites have a concrete pad and patio. There are trees, a picnic table and a grassy area on every site. Most sites are about 50 feet long. Since we couldn’t fit our truck on the site, they allowed us to park the truck in an overflow lot free of charge. There is quite a lot of room between sites. Limited Cable and satellite reception were great. Our Verizon cell phone and wireless internet worked fine. Rate includes stay 6 nights and get the 7th free. Campground has RV service on site. Bathrooms and showers are spotless. The park allows you to wash your RV and vehicle; fee is $5.00 each vehicle. Park is convenient to highway, Wal-Mart and Campers World. You can hear trains 24/7 and the Park is on the flight path for Portland Airport. We got use to it after awhile. It wasn’t too bothersome. During our stay we visited Columbia River Gorge and Mount St. Helens. We will definitely come back here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Extremely noisy park; planes overhead, train in rear, freeway in front plus very busy road! Noise begins at 0500; motorcycles add to the confusion! I stayed at parks where motorcycles are asked to begin at gate; I complained to the very unfriendly staff that fact and was told, "Are you just trying to pick a fight?" From day one the staff had been unhelpful and very unfriendly; not greeting the public, etc. The manager drives around all day and looks for details he can bang on your door about. (At least once a week!) Nasty notes are left taped to your door when you are gone. He is very nasty when he confronts people , with his arms crossed and absolutely no eye contact. I felt like I was in prison there; couldn't wait to leave and in fact, left with 10 more paid days ahead of me. But I just couldn't stand it anymore! Nor did I ask for any $$ back; they don't refund anyway! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Good points - park is clean, easy access from Hwy, close to shopping (Wal-Mart, Camping World), sites are level. Bad - train & aircraft noise, spaces are a little too narrow, no off leash areas for pets. Stayed twice in past two months - neither time did they honor the site I requested and was promised. When I arrived their attitude was "too bad we can't hold sites". If you can't honor then why promise! Won't stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice large park, roadways smooth and wide, multiple laundries, spaces are a bit narrow/short for the 5th wheel/long bed truck but workable for the amenities. A bit outside of Portland downtown but good access to TriMet options. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nicely-maintained park. Everything is clean and beautifully landscaped with a lovely pond. Shade. Paved sites. Convenient to highway, Wal-Mart and Portland. Very quiet at night, not much highway or airport noise. Clean bathrooms, showers and reasonably-priced laundry. Pool looked clean and wasn't cold. Small workout room. There is karaoke, movies, bingo, suppers, etc., in the community room. Cable TV and Wi-Fi. We'd definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Level sites, though not real wide (good enough for our slides). Friendly people. Train noise exists, but minimal impact. Not much freeway noise either. On the flight path for Portland airport and that was somewhat bothersome. Close to all sorts of shopping. Generally a good place. We camped here in a Motorhome.

One of the nicest parks I have ever visited. Looks older but definitely well kept. Several people were always trimming, cutting, cleaning, etc. If you are a dog person, when we stayed here almost everyone I saw was walking a dog or two. Paved interior roads, pads and patios. Well landscaped and maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Wi-Fi ok. Satellite friendly and good Verizon signal. The only things that keep it from a 10 are: utilities too close to the pad, sites just long enough for a 45', barely enough room for my toad alongside the RV. Maybe I nitpick. This beautifully kept park is clean and convenient to many of northwest Oregon's attractions and amenities. There are over 400 sites, many are big-rig accessable and well spaced. While exploring the park we found sections for long-term residents, families, those who desire a bit of privacy as well as regular campsites for the traveling public. Security patrols the park regularly. The park is located a block from the interstate within an easy drive to both Wal-Mart and Costco. The view of Mt Hood on a clear day is spectacular. Yes, we'll gladly go back when in the Portland area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park, one of the cleanest in Portland. Most of staff is very nice, however the managers leave a little to be desired. Very strict rules, which is good, but are enforced with an iron fist, and not equally enforced. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but stay out of the manager's way. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice, well kept park, however, the managers are better known as The Gestapo. It's almost as if they 'sit in wait' to come harass you. We are all for rules (they are necessary); and it isn't even the rules that get you - it's the manner in which they're addressed/enforced. We found the manager and his wife to be routinely rude and unprofessional in their interactions. We felt as though we were under a microscope the entire time we were there; couldn't wait for our paid stay to be up and to leave. In the office one day, I was absolutely appalled to hear the manger's wife gossiping with office staff about various guests. No where have we encountered such behavior, and no where have we encountered more sullen, unhappy fellow campers. The office staff itself (less the manager's wife) were nice, though not the friendly sort we've experienced at many other parks. We very much liked one of the "park hosts" (in an Excel 5er)...he should be the one managing this place; very personable! If you only plan to stay short term (less than a month), it could be a delightful park (other than the managers), but for a month or more, you'll be relegated "down below" where all the full timers are - vibes not good! Cable was fine; Wi-Fi kept dropping out (frustrating). We've now moved to a nicer, much friendlier park - a little more expensive, but oh so worth it!! Rate reflects monthly rate; we will not stay here again on a monthly basis. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I have stayed in this Park many times over the years. The park is very clean and well maintained. Beautiful trees and manicured lawns. The Park is next to an up-scale, gated community and across the street from a well regarded Mobil Home Park. Hardly a "bad" part of Town. I counted four signs stating that there is a fee of $5.00 to wash your RV. The managers are top notch and professional, they run a tight ship for the enjoyment of all guests. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. They provide information and guides for the Portland Metro area. I always refer my visiting friends and relatives to this park. Have never had any complaints. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is in a very bad part of town, its also not in the best of shape. I have used the park for 12 years and will not stay here again. I had a run in with the manager about washing the rig, I have washed the coach many times in this park and never had a problem they have an added charge of 5.00 if you wash, I have no problem with the fee but sometimes they charge and some times the don't the office indicated the manager was the issues, I would agree. If he had told me of the fee I would have had a choice he just came over and told me I needed to pay 5.00 I offered to stop washing but he told me that since I washed the dirt from my car I needed to pay. I think it would have been more hospitable and professional of the manager to have informed me of the rule then given me the option after all the nature of the RV Park is to be Hospitable no one likes to be hit with nickle and dime fees. I will avoid this park from now on due to the very unprofessional management to bad the office staff are very nice. You have better parks just south of Portland. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very large park. There are many full timers, but everything was tidy. The park is well secured and lit. The only compliant is the noise of the train that came through at all hours, but this is to be expected for a city park. The park has a good location if you plan to be visiting and vacationing in Portland. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The price is based off GS rate. We've stayed at this park several times over the last 5 years. Park staff are always friendly and helpful. Lots of activities, especially in the summer. Park is well landscaped and pretty. The park rules are strict compared to some other parks, but to me that's what makes it a well and smooth running park. Pools and hot tub are always spotless. We will return for sure. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was my second stay. The office staff was very nice, knowledgeable, and friendly. It appears that some of the pads have been updated. Very level with good access. This is a very popular park in NE Portland and was nearly full during my stay even this late in the year. Wi-Fi worked better this year. The only negative I have to say is that the cable TV degraded once the heavy rains started. Might have been my connections but I was not going out in the deluge to check. I will definitely return but will make sure that I reserve a place next time. I was almost turned away even though I checked in at 3:30. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy access off I-84, office staff was friendly and helpful. Our pull-through was fine for our 30-foot trailer, but would not fit anything longer without having to unhook. First let me say that I would give the park itself a higher rating but the way the management is and the way you are treated I gave it a 5. I've heard the lady manager talk about other employees, workampers and renters to staff members while visitors are in the office. Very rude on her part. The male manager acts like he's the ruler. I've never been to a park where they put notes on your RV telling you to wash it. You've got to be kidding me. There are 3 sets of speed bumps that could actually break an axle. Be very careful when going over them. The lower section is where the full-timers live. There are several RV's that leave a little to be desired. There are 2 laundry areas: $1.25 to wash and dry. The pool is salt water and in the upper park of the park. The hot tub is down in section 4. I would stay here again if in the area as it's the only decent one in the town. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had intended to stay here 6 nights but extended it to 8, there was a lot to see and do in/around Portland. This is a nice clean park, everything worked well and the staff was friendly. The sites were wide and level. You can park your truck/toad in front of RV or beside, sites are concrete and laid out to allow either. They even have concrete sidewalks for foot traffic, I have never seen this in a park before. This was one of the nicer parks I have stayed in and would definitely stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Not a family friendly park. They are also not very hospitable to people with RV's over 10 years old. Ladies at the check in desk were not friendly or helpful at check-in or when asked where the closest grocery store was located. Wi-Fi was not good. Easy and a quiet location. Tight access to sites, majority are pull-throughs. Train noise is OK, noticeable, but you get used to it. Park has regular activities, water aerobics, bingo, pool parties, etc. Varied residents. Nice place to stay in Portland area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We spent one night and our site was on the top level just before it headed down a steep drop into the middle section. The cable at our site was so poor we could hardly see the picture so used the roof antenna. We checked the connection at the next site and it was better but still snowy. Used our Verizon card and did not try their Wi-Fi. Even with a map it is very confusing getting into your site as there is no sign saying which sites are down a particular road. We managed just fine because I got out and checked the site number but people continually were going down the wrong way to find their site. We were far from the pond and had no mosquitoes and could only see the tops of the trains which were at the lowest of the three levels. The trains ran day and night and you could barely hear them where we were--they did not blow their whistles. The sites were several feet longer than our 38 foot MH and when we parked the car next to it, where you are supposed to, there wasn't much room between it and the slide out. There isn't much else in this area so we would probably stay here again but only for a night or two. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate is GS cost per night or $28/night for a week. The upper portion of the park appears more for the short-term guests. Woodall’s says the sites are 35’ wide; however, this counts your neighbor’s grass. There are some good features of the short-term area that includes access to the pool, your level concrete sites with picnic table and parking for your vehicle and a breeze, meaning your A/C may get to rest. They did offer a month of TengoNet when we were here, but fortunately we used our Verizon broadband because TengoNet was up and down and TengoNet was not concerned enough to fix it. They do recycle in the park. The down side relates mostly to the lower level sites where they are mostly monthly guests. Issues included the train tracks, lack of a breeze and many cottonwood trees. The ‘cotton’ covers the ground and will stop up your A/C coils. The laundry room in the lower area is poor with over priced machines. If you remain over a month they charge each person a $30 fee to perform a background check. Returning to the park will most likely be contingent on inspection of our A/C coils to see if the cottonwood trees clogged the coils; a likely issue. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The wifi setup is an outdated system supplied by TengoInternet. This might work for you if all you need to do is check your email but web page access speed dates back to 1995 modem dial up speed. If you do get a sporadic high speed connection, it will last for approximately 1 or 2 minutes. Checked in this July for the summer on a monthly but may move out as I require high speed data access for work?? We camped here in a Motorhome.

At first glance this appears to be a great looking RV Park, but wait, there’s more. As previously noted by others, the railroad noise is constant. The RV Park has a very nice pond, but it is covered with green pond scum that generates the over abundance of mosquitoes at every site. Also as previously noted by others, there are plenty of full time outdated and ill-repaired RVs that have been grandfathered into the old park rules. The owners of this RV Park, Property Investments located in Irvine, CA, have hired a residential house inspector with no RV experience to manage the park. If you need help at this park go to the campground host or find the maintenance man. We will not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

While not a destination resort, a great place to stay wile visiting the Portland area. A few miles from the light rail station in Gresham, giving easy access to downtown Portland and other parts of the area. Good space between the sites, utilities worked fine. Staff very helpful and friendly, kept a good eye on what was going on around the park. We have two dogs, and had no problems with rules/regulation, would rate it pet-friendly. Easy access off I-84. We had no issues with general rules/regulations either: the number was a lot lower than many parks we have been in. Only negative was the Tengo internet (full access) constantly going on and off, apparently not the norm, but I have yet to have a good experience with Tengo anywhere. Would return again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

While waiting to take possession of a new motorhome, I stayed at this park. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, as I had to extend my stay several times. The grounds were clean and well maintained and the sites marked with numbers on the concrete pads and on the lights next to each site. The park is set up with short time sites up front with the longer term and full timers on the lower level. There is a mainline Union Pacific train line directly behind the park, but the train noise is very tolerable in the front sections. The bathrooms and showers are spotless and the laundry room is very clean. There are two designated dog areas with signs to clean up after Fido. They have an activities director and schedule different types of events during the day and evening. The game night is fun and the people very nice. This park is very accommodating to the largest of motorhomes with mostly pull-through sites in the short term area. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were very happy with this park. We've stayed here in the past and really enjoy the nice landscaping and cleanliness. It's really interesting about the poster a couple posts back, bad mouthing this park. I know who they were because we were parked next them. Their children and animals were totally out of control, noisy and rowdy. This is a RV Park, not a primitive campground out in the sticks so folks have to behave themselves to some degree. We enjoy staying here because they do enforce basic rules and regulations, and run a good park. We definitely will stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 8 days. We will never be back. The other person was correct, rules like you wouldn't believe. My 10 year old was not allowed out of the camper without me holding on to her. They say you can ride your bike, but another little girl rode hers down one lane and was told to get back to her camper. My boston terrier followed me out the door and was sitting right beside me when the owner came up and chewed me out for me not holding on to her. My husband's work partner dropped him off and was here for two minutes and the owner came up and chewed him out for parking in front of our camper. If you pull a fifth wheel that is large, there will be no room for your truck. If your tire is an inch over their "concrete" area onto the road, you will get chewed out. I went into the office, three employees was in there. Not one of them looked up, said hi or anything. The camp host lady was the only nice person in the whole place. Don't let them fool you. They are not pet friendly and they are not kid friendly. You would think that you was a criminal and they was just waiting for you to mess up. I would not recommend this place to anyone. One of the prettiest RV parks I have ever been to. The winding paved roads, pond, flowers and trees were very nice. I like when a park has grass separating the RV sites, but I wish they would widen some of them by few feet to accommodate the larger rigs with multiple slides. Way too tight to park your vehicle. The pool wasn't open yet, and the spa was way in the back of the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here many times in the past while visiting Portland. The staff was especially friendly and helpful, not that they weren't in the past. A nice park for an overnight or a few days to explore the region. There is nice freeway access. We will be back next year! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very clean and well kept park in a quiet area, but close enough to freeway access. They charge for extra person(s). There is no separate walking access from the back/lower section to the pool. Rear section is very near train, but it didn't bother us to hear it - was kind of cool. The spots are narrow, but that seems to be the norm these days. Their spa is very nice. Be sure to visit El Polo Loco for great chicken. We will absolutely stay here again and rent a car from Hertz (best deal in town). Was not busy season when we were there. Wi-Fi was sufficient and free, which was a nice surprise. My truck broke down about 10 miles from here and a helpful tow man knew this park and went out of his way to take me here. From the moment I arrived after dark, the host greeted me and truly made me feel welcome. I stayed three nights and have decided to become a Good Sam member. The owner went out of his way to insure I received cable TV service as it was failing upon my arrival. He even offered to take me to a local Wal-Mart and other places I may have needed to patronize. The manager was also sweet and helpful. I will always remember how the staff here turned what could be described as a crisis into just an extension of my dog's and my vacation. Thank you! This park is very nice, with a cheerful and helpful staff. We stayed here a month and felt at home. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub because they were spotless and well cared for. This park has a number of activities like a ice cream social, game night, happy hour and pot luck. One evening the park host told me I had a water leak from my water heater, then he lent me tools and gave me guidance on making the repair! Now that's service! We looked around at other parks and this is the nicest in the area. We will be back here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We should know by now that when a park is this big there will be a lot of full-timers and/or extended stays. This park is no exception. To their credit: they appear to make every effort to not have junked-up RV's and the sites are well-kept (green grass) and their Wi-Fi is outstanding! Maybe this is the best park near Portland, but we were not real happy with the surrounding area. You just kind of feel like you're in the middle of a big town. In addition, the train (on the northern property line) runs all day and all night. The good news is: there's a great restaurant serving amazing food called Bumpers Grill & Bar only a couple of miles away. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I feel bad for the party that found that their stay here did not meet their expectations. I guess we were fortunate because our stay was outstanding. Without mentioning names, both of the ladies working in the office when we checked in treated us like family. It was our first time in Portland and we had a lot of questions. They were extremely helpful. The combination they provided for the shower and restrooms worked for us but, if it hadn't, I guarantee that I would have stopped by one of the easily located park host sites before attempting to climb through a window to the laundry room. The two hosts we've met have been great! They cruise by our site each evening and are more than willing to answer our questions. We've decided to spend the rest of the summer here and we're looking forward to it! Since we're staying for more than 30 days we had to pay thirty dollars each to have background checks run on us. We were very pleased to find out that our neighbors staying for extended periods were apparently law abiding individuals, having passed the same background checks. Our children are long grown and gone from the nest so on the few occasions that we've seen children playing in the pool, it's been a highlight of our day. I suppose we'll eventually have to leave but for now we're loving it! We appreciate the rules and the fact that we don't have to be concerned with unruly people, dogs, etc. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is actually an excellent one for overnighters or those staying a week or so. As others have reported, it has paved roads and cement parking pads with grass and a table. Nearly all of the sites are pull throughs and most will handle the largest RVs. It has a duck pond with up to 35 ducks on it at any one time and a sturgeon that must be close to 5 feet long. The reason that I have rated this park so low is that things are different if you want to spend a month or longer there. In that case, they make you sign a 4-page lease agreement with an attached two pages of dog rules and an additional page of rules for the kids. They want you to have $30,000 worth of liability insurance for your pad! They want not only your license number but your VIN number. They want copies of your vehicle registrations and insurance policies. And it goes on and on! We have fulltimed all over the country and spent a month or longer at many parks and never have we had to give this much information! By the way, they also charge you for a credit check and a criminal check (for both of you). Their list of rules go on and on and on but are very selectively enforced. Examples are the 10 year rule and current vehicle license tags. There were several dozen rigs that were up to 25 - 50 years old or with expired tags from several years ago. I guess that as long as you pay the rent you can stay. But then why have the rules? We will definitely not be back. There are other parks in the greater Portland area that do not treat you like this. We were so pleased to find such a high quality park close to Portland. All the sites are on concrete pads; all the roads are paved and the landscaping is lovely. Sites are side-by-side with little privacy. The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful with local tourist and transit info. Our kids enjoyed the ice-cream social and pool. We would definitely stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park was clean and nicely landscaped. We asked for a late check out for only two hours after checkout time and were refused even though there were many spaces empty. The pool was small, bathwater, murky, and loaded with kids. The laundry had a code on the door that didn't work so we ended up climbing through a window to open the door. Our site was very tiny and even with our pickup parked sideways, we still couldn't get out of the road. At check-in, we were given our rules to stay there, two pages worth! That's total overkill. The staff was not rude but not nice either. I doubt we will stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A good RV Park which has easy access and is clean. We stayed 4 nights. We were parked in the bottom half of the park and thought it was great. Well, that was until the train came rumbling through. Our motorhome was about 100yards from the tracks. It was not too bad though, there are only one or two trains a day somewhere between 5 and 9pm. Also, we needed to have our water heater replaced and found an ad in the park handout. The repair man is Harold and does an outstanding job. If in need of emergency repair call Harold. He comes when he says, does a great job and charges a fair price. We camped here in a Motorhome.

After a long day's drive, we arrived after the office had closed. The Camp Host came out as soon as we pulled through the gate, with a warm friendly greeting and a big smile. He gave us our registration package, answered all our questions and made sure we got to our site and hooked up. The park and facilities are clean and safe. Families with kids and pets are welcome but they must be supervised. Overall, a great place - our compliments to all the staff but especially to the host for his help when we arrived and his friendly waves as he made his nightly rounds. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a wonderful park whether you want to stay for a day, a week, a month or the summer. We have stayed all these options over the years. The sites are big and pads are concrete. The lawns between the pads are kept in pristine condition. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Even though this is a big park, it does not feel like it, as a result of the wonderful layout of the park with all its terraces and landscaping. If you like cyling for exercise, you can cycle a few miles down the road to the Columbia River and cycle all the way into Portland, along mainly cycle tracks. Blue Lake Regional Park is between the RV park and the river and is ideal for boating swimming or picnicing during the week, but gets busy on weekends and holidays. You are within fifteen minutes of downtown Portland and yet already at the entrance to the Columbia River Gorge with all its attractions. There is a Flying J, a Costco, a Super Wal-mart, and a Camping world nearby. If you are a rebel, you might find the rules irritating, but for us they offer peace of mind. We look forward to coming back to this park every year. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I think this is the best park in the Portland area. I don't like Pheasant Ridge in Wilsonville - staff makes you feel like they are doing you a favor. The staff at this park, Portland/Fairview, is very friendly. This is an older park so the spaces are very close and the pads are only about 9 feet concrete. The pull-throughs are only about 50 feet so unhooking the toad is a requirement, although there is a small pad for the toad. I will stay here again when in the Portland area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park suffers a bit from age - a bit long in the tooth. Our site was not even close to level. The wireless Wi-Fi is free and very high speed. The staff was very courteous. The sites are a bit too close together. The price ($40 before Good Sam discount)is too high for what you get. Good access to I-84 coming from east or west. If you are looking for a RV "motel" a bit east of Portland, this may fill your needs. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Well-maintained campground and good facilities, with exception of the water hook-up which was virtually buried in a ground-level box. Lots of space for our dogs. Good access to Portland and I-84. Staff was a little sparky when we arrived but was pleasant during the rest of our stay. We'd stay there again but will avoid the chaos that passes for highways in the Portland area...probably the worst highway signage we have experienced. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Paved with gravel pads. Wifi worked ok. Large park with lots of permanents but keeps them in mostly in a separate section. Convenient to Portland and Gorges areas. Shopping close. Easy access from 84. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very nice and very large, well managed park in a commercial area of suburban Portland. We spent two nights here, giving us the opportunity to spend a day exploring Portland. It is an easy drive to the light rail station in Gresham, where we caught a train for downtown. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

For a city location this is a nice park friendly staff and clean. The park is nicely landscaped with average site size and paved streets and site pads. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here 5 nights last year and again this year. Beautiful park, great sites with side pad for toad/truck, grass, trees, wonderful landscaping, good night lighting, easy access but have to unhook toads before pulling in, streets just a little too tight to stay hooked up and they tell you that up front. Management may be a little strict, but we had no problem with that. Hope to go back next year and stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed for a week in this RV Camp. This RV site is almost perfect. They have a great staff and wonderful facilities. The Wi-Fi is reliable and the bandwidth for it is very good. The only complaint is about the noise. This RV camp is right in the flight path for the Portland Airport. So, any time an Airplane comes in low, you hear it. The RV camp is also right between the freeway and the railroad line. They have blocked most all freeway noise, but the railroad is frequently used and the train noise is not blocked. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We received the Good Sam rate. The previous reviews have mentioned the watchful eye of the management and we would agree. But as posted earlier, just follow the rules and you're fine. The managers, Fred and Janell were very nice and professional. Some of the office staff could use a happy pill but they run what seems to be a tight ship. Some of the dog do-do signs were a little over the top, perhaps they could add a smiley face to them to lighten the message. Most dog owners know it's expected to pick up after their pet. (Get the do-do bag holder that zip ties to your leash, then you're never without them). I wouldn't rank this as the MOST family friendly park (play ground was very spartan and distant). I think their demographics are the upper end retiree market. To which they serve it well. There is a Shell station dispensing diesel and propane very close by. The railroad tracks are next to the lowest level (there are three levels) so you will hear the trains but they don't blow their horns around here. Most of the nightly spots are on the upper level, closest to the laundry and office. We would stay here again. It is very convenient to I-84 and about 15 minutes from the Convention Center. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here again this summer. The park is well groomed and nice. Restrooms are old, but very clean. Super nice laundry on the third level. Pool and hot tub are very well care for and very nice. Free WiFi is Nomadisp and works good, but can get a little slow at high traffic time. Many have commented on the Manager being rude and mean, but if you follow the rules he's fine. Don't leave trash and stuff under your rig or park on the grass! You disobey the rules and he's all over you. He keeps a close watch on things. We will come back again. Fairview RV is a clean park but i feel over priced for what you get. The trains are loud and constant. The pool small and cold. The general staff Cold also. One time i stood in office for fifteen minutes before the staff in front me even said hello or can i help you. The staff can be snobby and unfriendly. Although the general cleaning staff was nice. Many old I mean old RV's that are parked year round, strange for such a high priced up scale RV park. Manager has chip on his shoulder running a muck pointing out who park where or whatever. His wife is cold and snobby. We come to Portland every year but won't spend our money here again. Oh, we went monthly paying up front they made us pay $60.00 for background check? I'd like to see the background check on some of there yearly RVers. Silly when you pay up front and obtrusive. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Trains, Trains, Trains. We stayed at the bottom half of this park, and all we could hear was the train. The tracks are located right above you. Morning, noon and night. The sites are long and spacious. There are plenty of permanent residents in very old, I mean old RV's with all of their stuff exposed. They have rules for the dogs but not for the cats apparently, they run around loose and yes, do their business where they please. We did enjoy the area sights greatly (Columbia River). Ah no, we would not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean, well landscaped and maintained park. Big rig access with sufficient room between sites. Set on multiple levels with lower level right beneath train tracks - avoid these sites! This is a very nice park but is also expensive. I have stayed here many times and never been disappointed in the facilities. It has convenient access to the I-84 freeway and to Wal-Mart. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

After reading other reviews we were worried about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They must have read the same reviews and decided to do something about it because they were friendly and helpful in each encounter we had with them. As others have written, the park is very nicely done--lots of trees and flowers and grass between the sites. The sites themselves are large with parking for a dinghy and plenty of room for chairs and the picnic table provided at each site. The park is on two levels and it appears that most of the long-term residents--and there are a lot of them-- are on the lower level (further away from the entrance) so you don't feel like you are staying in a trailer park. The location is good for visiting Portland or the Columbia Gorge. There are not many services in the immediate vicinity of the park but a number of large service stations and a couple of truck stops as well as Camping World are two exits east and are easily accessible. A couple of downsides--the pool is very small and located right at the entrance to the park and the playground is terrible. It only has an old slide and a beat-up swingset and we did not feel it was safe for our 4 year old to use. Notwithstanding that, overall the facility is very nice, clearly well-maintained and we would stay there again when we are in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Well all the reviews pretty much sum up this park, nicely landscaped, large concrete pads with grass and yes the office help is not very friendly but nobody has mentioned that the management does not enforce all the rules, my gripes the speed of the traffic in and out of the park, kids riding bicycles unsupervised cutting through spaces etc. and my biggest complaint rude people with pets on zippy lines letting them come into and all around your rig to potty. Why don't they use there own space. Might go back if things change. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice clean park. Good cable TV and free WiFi. Paved pads with vehicle parking. Camping World and Wal-Mart Super Center about a mile away. Staff is not very friendly. This park is great for visiting Portland. So to bad it has such crabby hosts, they ruin it. We were traveling from another campground about an hour away and called to see when check in was since it was about to rain. We were informed check out was 11:00 but to come anyway since they could move us around. We got there at 10:50 and when I told the man at the desk that we were told to come, then he rudely said, "No, you have to come back at noon." I told him that a woman said they could move us around.."No" he says. I was ticked! My husband and I go back in and the creep is soooooooo nice to my husband, telling him he could park at Fred Meyer or Camping World down the road. When we return we both go in to register and again butter melts in his mouth. A couple of days later we drive down the street, in the campground, to visit some friends we had met from another town. Immediately the camp host walks from around his trailer, (Our friends are parked next to him) and asks us if we have read the rules. I said yes. He said, "Well see that sign it reads" fire line" and you can't park there." We told him we were only there for a minute and we would move. Not good enough. He said that the city police come in there and give $125 tickets for parking there. Truth be known he calls them. The next day our friends had a hydraulic jack leak fluid on the ground. "Sunshine", the host comes around the corner and tells him to "Clean it up." Our friend said he was going to get kitty litter to absorb it, when he went to the store. "Sunshine" tells him to put bleach on it until he cleans it up. Things are going o.k. for us until the day we are going to leave. They allow you to wash your rigs while your there. We had an empty space that had been vacant the entire time we were there. We washed our truck and pulled it into the empty site to dry it. "Sunshine" was about 10 sites from us picking up trash when he stops and walks down to us to tell us we have to move our truck, we can't park it there. My husband tells him we are only drying it there and we'll move it latter. He also tells him NO ONE can come in before noon anyway and it was 9:30 a.m. Between the crab in the office, who also has a sign in front of his rv stating "Retired USMC don't even think about parking here"!! We will never stay here again. Neither will our friends. I thought camp hosts were suppose to help you? We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I read the other reviews before coming here and agree that this is a very nice park, probably one of the nicest we have stayed at. I like the paved pull through sites with a separate paved parking area for tow car. We don't use a pool very often, but this one is very small and full of children every day. It would be nice if they had some hours set aside for adults only. There is plenty of services close by including Walmart. The train station for the Portland MAX trolley is about 10 minutes away and we took that to city center for the Saturday Market which was great. The "senior" fare is only $.85 for two hours and that is good on all public transit systems in the area. Regular fare is only $4.50 for all day. We would definitely come here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice older park within easy access to local attractions and business functions. The landscaping is beautiful and includes a nice variety of flowers. As said before, the terraced levels of the park and ample greenery give it the feel of a much smaller facility. Most sites appear to require at least two inches of side to side leveling. Proximity to the main rail line may bother some but I did not find it as a negative. I found the staff to be impatient and rude, which is unfortunate. Guest parking consists of approx. eight tight spaces next to the dumpsters in two locations serving over 400 sites. Any alternative guest parking will be viciously enforced by the staff. (We learned the hard way when an elderly relative stopped by for a quick visit and parked in a vacant site next to us for 20 minutes and was made to park 150 yards away at the dumpster) I feel the parks marketing as a 'high end' facility with rigid standards is a bit of a stretch. I was grilled over the phone about the year and condition of my vehicles (late model and higher end) only to arrive to find quite a few 80's and even a few 70's motorhomes and trailers set up for year round occupancy, including units with skirting, built-on decks, roof covers, dog fences, park models, and cars with the grass growing up around them. Any full time residents we encountered were very nice but it still came as a bit of a surprise after choosing this park based on their advertised strict admission requirements. obviously the rules don't apply to everyone.. If you don't want to pay top dollar to camp in a "trailer park" setting make sure you reserve a site closer to the main entrance. We stayed for a week and would probably stay there again but will insist on a certain area of the park next time. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an impeccable campground. The office staff is formidable on first meeting, though pleasant afterward. They will deliver phone messages to the sites. All sites and roads are asphalt-paved, and each site has an additional paved parking space. The park has a small picnic park with pavilion and pond. It also contains a huge recycling center which is well maintained. We paid the Good Sam rate, which included local taxes. There is a Wal-Mart within 2 miles. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Well kept very large older CG with lots of permanent residents. Level cement sites with grass and table. Small pool at entrance and joke playground for children. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice place! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice park. It is great to see seasonal campsites that are kept neat. Check-in did take a bit longer than I would expect. This is quite a large park but it is laid out in such a way that it doesn't feel huge. We were parked near the office and had no problems getting our big rig around the turn and into the pull-thru. Since the nightly price is on the high side, we were glad to see that, at least they included "free" WiFi. Except for the price, we would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We started full timing in March 2007. We were not very happy with this park but waited until we had visited several other similar parks before submitting this review. The Portland Fairview RV Park is a nice looking park with over 400 sites. The grounds are nicely kept with green grass between the rigs. The streets are paved and the parking areas are concrete. There are quite a few parking areas that have broken concrete which have sunk several inches. Be careful when walking around your rig. There are only two laundry rooms for all 407 sites so you may have to walk a ways or drive to do laundry. The park only has limited parking spots around the laundry room and they are often taken by someone parking an extra car. Please be aware that there is a main line railroad immediately behind the park. Trains go by about once an hour day and night. The only good part of this is that they generally do not blow their horns as they go by. We have gotten used to the noise of the trains and do not mind them too much although I have talked to others who have moved to another park because of the trains. This park is also under the flight path for Portland International Airport. Again, the noise isn’t too loud but you may think otherwise. About three quarters of the park is able to use satellite dishes. The rest of the sites are blocked either by trees or a bluff. I do have a major complaint with the management of the park. If this park had managers as nice as those at Portland RV Park in Tualatin, then I would consider returning when I am back in the Portland area. However that is not the case. The rules are very arbitrarily enforced. Here are some examples. “Your pet’s mess is your mess, so please clean it up immediately.” This is a park with a huge majority of long term residents. Our immediate neighbor has a dog which she lets out on a leash to do its business. She cleans up the messes about once a week. Guess where the dog leaves its deposits – at the edge of its range, which is right next to my rig. I have to watch for land mines whenever I go out to drain my tanks. Not fun! “Dogs and cats must be on a leash at all times while outside your RV.” There are lots of cats that roam around who belong to the residents. There are two in the site two spaces from me. One went into heat and we were kept awake at night by the howling. Both of them spray all around to mark their territory. I have seen them spray the neighbor’s folding camp chairs, their steps and the lawn sign that they put out. They also spray the utility posts. Yuk! I have seen the cats stalk the many birds that are around too. Speaking of birds, there is a parrot at a rig two rows away from me. The owner puts it outside in a cage every day where it calls and whistles all day long. We can easily hear it inside our rig with the doors closed. I can imagine what it would be like if we were parked next door! The managers allow this but would not allow a dog to howl and whine outside every day. Why is this allowed? “No storage of any type on your lot, only patio furniture allowed.” There are sites with large Rubbermaid storage sheds immediately behind or beside the RV. This is very unsightly. “RVs: Only modern, fully self-contained RVs are allowed.” “All autos must be registered with the Office, in good working order and with current tags.” There is a fifth wheel trailer whose license expired in 1999 and a very old Wanderlodge whose license tags expired in 1998. The Wanderlodge has terrible paint and a flat tire. “No lubrications, oil changes, fabrication, body work, painting, etc., on site, except by professional mobile repair companies…” There is also a trailer that looks older than the trailer in the movie Long, Long Trailer parked in the park. One weekend the owners spray painted the entire outside of the trailer while it was 25 feet from a beautiful late model Hitch Hiker fifth wheel. The wind was blowing that day too. The park manager drove by while they were doing this and did not stop them. I sure would not have wanted to be parked next to them while this was going on! The rules which are strictly enforced are the parking rules. There are only about 5 overflow parking sites for the entire park. We had a service mechanic come by and install a satellite dish for us. I moved my car to a site next door which had been vacant for two months! The manager came by and told me to move the car. Another time, my sister came by to show me her new car. She parked behind my rig where she was partly into the road. We were standing there by the car talking when the manager came by again and said she had to move the car. The road area is wide enough that RVs can get by anyway. There is just no tolerance for special circumstances that come up and no where to park the extra cars. This park is unusual in that there is a charge for the cable TV and the Wi-Fi is free. We signed up for the cable TV because we didn’t have our dish yet. The signal quality was terrible! I could get a much better signal with my bat wing antenna than over the cable connection. I complained to the management and they came down with a 13’ Daewoo TV and set it on the utility post. The screen was terribly dusty and they plugged it in and got a picture. Then they said the problem was within my rig. I have a 2007 motorhome and had just moved here from another park where the TV worked just fine. This is a rip-off! The Wi-Fi was down for over 24 hours one time and a week another time! This is a major problem for full-timers who do on-line banking! Now that I have my own TV and Internet dish I don’t have to rely on the park for service. By the way, be sure that you put your sewer hose on a hose support that keeps it above the ground and slopes down to the drain. They are very strict about this. While Portland has some of the best water in the nation, it appears that this park has well water with lots of minerals. The sprinkler system that waters the grass hits the side of the rigs and leaves white water spots as high as the middle of the side hatches on our RV. These do wipe off but they are annoying. Well, that about summarizes my experience with Portland Fairview RV Park. It would be a decent park with different managers. The noise of the trains and airplanes could be tolerated if the managers were more consistent in enforcing the rules. We are full-timing and have relatives in the Portland area. We will be returning every year but will not return to this park. There are several others that will get our business instead. I have sent a copy of this summary to the managers so that they can be made aware that their attitudes will affect their business. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed for 2 months. Rate is monthly divided by 31. I agree with most reviewers. Park is well maintained and clean although some long term units are well past their prime. Staff was inconsistent, nice some days, cold others. Required background check for monthly campers is expensive ,$60 for my wife and I, and annoying. It's also of questionable value as I had the first theft in 40 years of camping while here. That experience was enough to make me hesitant to return. I assume there have been past problems and the background check is an attempt to control them. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had found this park satisfactory on a prior visit. However, when we arrived, the office was in chaos and we had to wait for at least half an hour to check in. Our site was very unlevel and the CATV did not work. The free WiFi was very good, though, and the landscaping was beautiful, with rhododendrons and azaleas blooming all around. Due to the high price and unlevel sites, we would not stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The general appearance of the park is clean and well kept, the year 'round residents keep their spaces nicely. The turns are tight, so we made sure to set ourselves up with plenty of room to make the corners. We stayed here in December 2006, and also in May/June 2006. We dealt with a lady in the office both times. She was very helpful and quite pleasant to deal with. The pool was not heated when we were here, and is only open Memorial day to Labor day. The hot tub was open seven days a week (closing early on Sundays) in May/June, in December the hot tub was only open 5pm to 9pm, Monday through Saturday. The playground area is not well kept. It is in desperate need of wood chips. There were heavy east winds in December, and the trees are prone to blowing over. There are a number of sites with missing trees and fresh marks of uprooting. The park will not accept any liability for damage done to vehicles. Extra parking is at a premium, if visitors can't fit their vehicles in your site, (literally) then they must walk from one of only two areas for visitor parking. This can be some distance. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park in the eastern suburbs of Portland. Large, level spaces, wide roads, well places hookups. There is significant road noise on the upper level of the park, and there are train tracks at the back of the lower level of the park. Not many trains came through during the four days we were there, but all came through in the middle of the night. The wifi isn't free, so we didn't use it. The park is well maintained and landscaped, and although there is a significant percentage of permanent residents, it's a still a very nice place. Fairly per friendly too. We'd stay here again. This is a good park with overnighters parked on the upper level farthest from the noise of frequent trains. Sites are paved and mostly level but roads are somewhat narrow with tight turns. This wasn't our first stay but on previous trips we didn't hook up the tow vehicle until we were on a straightaway. With our big rig that is the best decision for us and we made the mistake this past trip of not sticking to what worked in the past. Also, WiFi wasn't mentioned at check-in and I forgot to ask. But my signal showed the service is RV Access and past experience required the customer to register with them and pay per 24 hour period at about $5. I opted not to use the WiFi that one night stay because I knew the next Park offered it free! We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were on the lower level near the railroad tracks. This place is loud when the train comes through. There are a lot of people that are permanent at this park. The full time people have a lot of stuff outside their trailer/motorhomes. The staff was nice. The pool was ice cold even in July when the temperature was over 100 degrees out. We stayed at the park for 3 months. This park is very well kept with a very clean pool and hot tub, but they are not in the same location. Restrooms are old but kept clean daily. The laundry is excellent. The park is on a flight path. It is also close to a railroad track, but neither the trains nor the planes bothered us. Management is strict but we had no problem as we follow the rules. Washing both rigs and vehicles is allowed and encouraged. Cable is an extra charge, but WiFi is free as of 10/09/06. A background check (fee charged) is completed on anyone staying a month or more. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The "cleanup crusade" mentioned by another review must have worked, because this park was spotlessly clean. We stayed up near the front entrance where the managers are, and most of those spots seemed to be short-timers like us. This park is not in beautiful nature, but it's a good base of operations for seeing Portland (though the traffic at rush hour is horrid both ways--avoid peak hours) and the various falls along the Columbia River. The park reminded us of a brand new tract home subdivision--which is much nicer than reminding you of a trailer park. The pool was nice, and the noise from the street wasn't bad (though I'd suggest asking for a site away from the street, as it's busy). We'd stay here again assuming we couldn't find a park that had high ratings AND natural beauty. The Wi-Fi isn't free, FYI. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice landscaped park. Excellent crew that helped us at our every whim. Enjoyed our stay even though we could not stay more then 1 week. The new managers introduced themselves to us and asked us to drive and see the whole park since it is quit large. We had heard from others that this park has been cleaned up from past tenants who had a lot of stuff outside rigs. We thought the whole park was neat and clean. Kudos to the staff!! Im very disappointed with my stay at this park. I came in late, we parked our RV and before we could get out to hook up and go pay in nite drop, the manager was knocking on our door demanding we go pay this instant. I did not mind that but his tone of accussing us of freeloading was not appreciated. The park is pretty but restrooms were not in good shape (dirty). The office staff is very friendly and helpful. I would think twice about staying there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have visited this park many times through out the years and this year was truly our best visit ever..The Park is very beautiful, manicured lawns,helpful and very friendly staff that go out of their way to make sure our needs are tended to..They allowed us to wash our RV on site and after the road trip we had it needed it..My family and I will be back when we visit Oregon again.. Nicely landscaped, terraced park like setting, with duck pond. Friendly, helpful staff. Some train and traffic noise, but not detracting from the ambiance. Park is subject to strong winter east winds. Many residents, some with minor accumulation of clutter, i.e. freezers and refrigerators. Mgmt. was starting a cleanup crusade. Mgmt. requires $35 background check for those staying a month or longer. Dogs must be registered including current veterinary info. Rent $380/month plus tax, metered electricity. WiFi through RVAccess for $39.95/month. Shorter periods of time can be purchased. We lived there full time from mid Nov. 2005 to mid Jan. 2006. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Under new management. Direct bus route to Downtown. The park is very clean. I would give it a 10 except for the train noise. The park is next to a train track that has about 25 trains a day starting at 4 am and ending at 11:30 pm. We had to leave early from sleep deprivation. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Friendly staff, clean, attractive, and the hot tub (spa) was hot & refreshing. Great place to use as a jump-off point for US 30 waterfalls tour and downtown Portland. The only negatives: too many sites, a little crowded, and not enough trees for me. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a large well maintained park on three levels. The two top levels are short term sites. The lower level has seasonal/permanent sites. Roads and sites are paved. It is well landscaped with trees and flowers. Although the trees are trimmed, some are close enough to sites so that the small branches pose a problem when extending slides. WiFi was available for $5 per day which I didn't pay. When I turned on my computer, I didn't see a signal at all, so don't know how well it works. The park is between a busy street and a railroad track, so it is rather noisy. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Super RV park, very clean, great management as well. We had strong Wifi, a real asset since we were there on an extended business trip. No pet areas as such, but very pet friendly if you pick up after your dogs. Well kept with lots of grass and pretty flowers. The full time residents take pride in their spots and it really shows. There is a bit of airport noise, but not overwhelming. A good location for both Portland and the Colombia River attractions. This will be our 'home' whenever we are in Portland from now on!!! There's some railroad traffic to contend with, but overall, this is a quiet, comfortable park with concrete pads, grass and picnic table at every site, some with mature trees, no obstacles for big rigs. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This a very large park with nicely terraced and landscaped sections with all the amenities. I stay here everytime I visit Portland. Near the Gorge and Mt. Hood. Easy I84 access. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Two Thumbs up! My wife and I have been here for about a month and plan on staying through March 2011. I was able to move in my 36' Travel Trailer into an RV space large enough for a 40' pull through motorhome. We receive 50% off our 1st month so it came to only $185 and we will be staying to get our 7th month FREE in March! Thank you for the great deals. Overall, RV park community is quiet and pleasant. Clean well maintained showers and facilities. Newer washer dryer equipment in the laundry facilities. We were pleasantly surprised with the large cable package and my wife loves the Wi-Fi wireless internet. Great management team! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

My wife and I have been staying here for 3 years now and Rolling Hills RV Park continues to improve. This time we stayed for 3 months while I finished treatment at the VA hospital for Veterans in Portland. The managers are just great, the area is really clean, and they seem to have a permanent "move in" special for monthly RV's. We paid $185 the 1st month and $370 after that which was the best price in the area. It was well worth it for us because it included a huge cable package and most importantly fast and reliable high speed wi-fi internet. I end up watching most TV online anyway. I'll be coming back to see my doctor early next year. Until then keep up the great work, and I can definitely recommend this place. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I have stayed in over 300 RV parks and this park is at the bottom of the list. Most of the park has old broken down RV's that look to be permanently in the park. It is right next to a sewer treatment plant and although the odor is not strong, it is still there. The park also is near the railroad. I would not recommend this park to anyone.
