Old park, pretty run-down. Notices out that it is under new ownership, and is supposedly being renovated, but there's a lot remaining to be done. A lot of the electric poles were leaning or damaged and the water tasted rusty. Park is centrally located, with restaurants, shopping, wharf "trolling", etc. available. Grassy sites, pretty muddy during our visit. A considerable portion of the park was closed off, perhaps due to ground water saturation. Wide spaces, plenty of privacy, some pull-throughs. A pretty good view, but wharf activity was noisy with heavy equipment, chainsaws, diesel engines and so forth. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here many times over the past. The place used to have a very nice large pool. They filled it in - so that's gone. Playground is really just a swing set and a see-saw (nothing more). Gravel sites. Current price is OK - but not worth paying any more! Drinking water appeared to have rust or something in it last time we used it. Recommend a screen. They tend to "mess" up reservations and double book on spots. But, usually plenty of room if you gotta move to something else. Don't stay toward the back of the park - hit the middle - everyone else goes for the back of the park! Place also no longer has the marina - they closed it - probably because the small area of the bay is too shallow and needs dredged. New owners took over it and I guess trying to fix things - but seem more of just cutting costs then fixing. Not really impressed and per our last visit - was not really wanting to come back. Big field for tents in middle of place. Some fire rings. It is nice for its location to another close marina for crabbing, etc. Steam engine also is right in front of the park that runs between the two summer holidays - fun to take the family on a small trip. Park seen better days but not the worse thing out there. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
