Nice location close to ocean, great staff but dusty roads, dead grass, some sites not level. It is not a RV Resort type of park. We camped with a Good Sam group and had the use of a great club house. I know it is a coastal park but I live on the Oregon coast and it is overpriced. If they would pave the roads and water the grass, I would rate it a lot higher. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for a couple days and really enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly, restrooms and showers were clean and it was family friendly. Laundry was decently priced ($3.00 a load), but the park overall was a little too pricey for us. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Website was misleading. The area outside the campground was industrial and not too nice. The Wi-Fi was not easy to access. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. The staff was nice and held a potluck for all the campers. The walk to the beach was not too far but this area was VERY windy. Would not stay here again, saw many other campgrounds in the area that looked much nicer (especially for the price). We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is dirty and dusty and cramped. The sites given for a Class A are postage stamp sized, without enough room for slides. The worst part, which has not been mentioned is the very narrow, winding road you must take to get here. My right tires were on the edge of the pavement most of the time. Plus the road had large depressions in the middle, with gravel fill and steel plates in places. I don't get scared with many roads, but this drive was terrifying. I would never stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We spent three days there it was a blast. We where in site #4 river front it was great. Great views of the river and the mountains. Site was a little narrow, but the wild black berry's and the otters in the river made you forget. We will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

What a gem of a place, right on the Rogue River. If you visit is planned, be sure to ask for a river front site. It's a small park, with only 6 river sites, so book ahead. The folks who run it are very friendly. They encourage even the short term visitors to attend cocktail hour on the patio, where we found the regulars and seasonals to be very friendly. Laundry facilities were good. Shower water pressure was a little troublesome. I think the washing machines affected the pressure, hence you could be chilled or broiled without notice! Over all, we would recommend this park. It certainly was the best of the three on this shore. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Our price was based on the Passport America rates. Lovely small campground just 20 spots. Friendly owner, very clean grounds, clean and spacious bathrooms and smack bar. In the center of town and just an easy 10 min. stroll to the lovely beach, 3 min. to a 24 hour supermarket and various restaurants, but away from the traffic, so no noise. Our site was level, with good water pressure, Wi-Fi and cable TV. If we ever pass through Gold Beach again, this will definitely be our first choice of Campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a small RV Park right in the middle of town-really within walking distance to almost everything. The smallness of the park is offset by its location. The owner is resident in the park and works very hard on the upkeep. The grass pads and associated vegetation are well cared for. His attention to detail is very evident in the cleanliness and neatness of the whole park. He was very responsive to any of our questions or concerns. One very strong plus to the park has to do with the movable potted plants/scrubs. In some parks, the edge of each space is marked with live trees, usually very large and of course unmovable. With the use of the potted plants, the spaces are widened for backing into position or leaving the site. When parked in the site the pots are moved back into position. The narrow spaces do eliminate the use of the awnings. Be prepared to park your vehicle next to and very close to your rig as the space between your rig and the slide outs on your neighbor may be tight. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Woodall's says this park has a rec room with coin games and WiFi at the sites. There is NO rec room with coin games and the WiFi was so spotty and poor we couldn't keep a signal for longer than a minute, and that was one row from the building. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We only stayed here one night, Should have booked another night but we already had reservation for the next day at another RV park. The staff was very friendly at check in, The park was very clean and well groomed. The restaurant and pub is closed on Sundays and Mondays and we were here on a Sunday so we weren't able to eat at the restaurant. We did walk around the park to check it out, The little pond was really nice, They even have free fire wood available, Although you are only limited to three logs per night. The other campers were also very nice and friendly. The only reason I'm not rating this park a 10 is because we didn't use the restrooms or showers so I don't know there condition, But as clean as the park was I'm sure the restrooms and showers were just as clean. We did purchase some German sausage from the little store before it closed that evening. I will differently camp here again when in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very few sites have ocean views. It is 8-9 miles north of Gold Beach and nearest supermarkets. Yes, there is a stocked trout pond, but it costs $15 to fish for an hour or for the first fish; additional fish are $10 each. We stayed in early June, and the restaurant was closed, but Friday evening, somebody from the park came by and asked us if we wanted to eat in the restaurant that evening. Sites are very level and have average privacy. Flowers are beautiful throughout the park. Laundry is too small for a park this size. Beach is 6-7 minutes away through a trail that crosses Hwy 101. Wi-Fi was okay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautifully landscaped with trees, flowers, and manicured grass! Sites were blacktop and level. Park is shady, quiet, and on a creek. They have a large rec room with pool, ping pong, and a cafe on site for breakfast and lunch. Karen, owner, is very nice. Our only down side was the bathrooms looked old and dark, thus appearing unclean. A good nights' sleep. Will return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed three days in the RV Park for a family birthday bash. There were family members from all over that stayed in the beach house, lodge, cabins and RV Park. This is a great venue that has accommodations to suit everyone and every budget. With every contact, the staff was the most friendly I have ever encountered. The RV Park, unfortunately, has not been maintained. They have let all the grassy areas between the sites die and that makes it look awful. I could see sprinklers, but obviously they don't use them. The fact that you make reservations months in advance does not mean you will get a good site as they let drive-ins take any spot they want (good if you are a drive-in). When we arrived after having reservations for 2.5 months we had two spots to choose from and we could not fit into one of them. We ended up five inches from the restroom roof. The parking pad was asphalt but narrow in our back in site and it was a little difficult to get our 33' Class A in because of the narrow road and angle. They do have pull throughs in the middle but they are closer together. If you are lucky you can get a good site close to the faux lighthouse and beach trail. After you pick your spot you have to walk to the Gold Beach Inn to check-in and pay. Not that far and the grounds are pretty. The really GOOD part is that the beach trail is just yards away with miles of uncrowded ocean beach. You can walk to shops and restaurants. They have a couple hot tubs that we were told by family were nice, but we did not use them. Even with any negative things, this place has a great location (beach and in-town) and with the really friendly and accommodating staff it is a good place to stay while in Gold Beach. And if you go, don't forget to take your craft paint and brush to leave a family keepsake rock in their garden. I think some make theirs at home, then place them when they get there. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you'll see. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a fabulous park to stay at. It's right on the Oregon Coast, a quaint lighthouse on sight that 10 of us took table and chairs up in and played cards into the night. The managers recommended Spinners for dinner and we loved it. The bathrooms were decent, not new, but have no problem using them. Not like some parks. It was a perfect spot and would go again. The grass at each RV site wasn't green, but again we're right next to the beach so that didn't matter. Will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Another very nice park on the beautiful stretch of the southern Oregon coast. Very close to the ocean and the park is clean as always when we stay here. Nice staff in the office up front and very helpful. They recommended Spinners restaurant which was fabulous! You can walk to just about everything from here. Wi-Fi was great too. I disagree with the previous review saying the park has gone downhill. We have stayed here several times before and found it just as pleasant. I talked with the owner or manager and apparently they don't water grass because of the sky high water rates, as we have found with many other Oregon coast parks. The restrooms are not new, but are certainly very decent. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We've been going to Kimball Creek for years now and it just keeps getting better each and every year! The owner wrote a cookbook that I highly recommend you buy. They are available at the front counter and it is their family collection of recipes that are just great! The owners are highly involved in the operation of the park and it shows. Everything is clean and well cared for. Don't forget to leave with your share of salmon! The owner's son and grandson are both fishing guides and know the Rogue river like the back of their hands! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park. It's 6 miles off the hiway, but a very small road. Hard drive for a big rig. Has nice big sites on the river. Big fire pit at each site. Very limited cell service, did have WiFi, but only at the office. Jet boat tours leaves right from the campground docks. Clean and quiet park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here every year for 3 years. We do it mainly because we like the Jerry's Jet Boat 104 mile run and they will pick you up and let you off at the Kimball Creek dock. This year we had a river front view and it was very peaceful watching the Osprey come and go from their nest. There was a flood more than 10 years ago in the area and the waterfront bathrooms and reading room have that musty odor. There are some more permanent motor home sites but all the sites near the water are for travelers and I have never felt the permanent sites detracted from my experience. The rec room next to the office and store is where you have to go to get an internet connection which is a nice place to do work but they close that up around 9. I was assured I could get a connection anywhere around the building after that but it didn't work for me. The cable TV hookup is good. We had nice neighbors and the folks operating the campground are helpful and friendly. We will return. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

We camped here in December and almost had the entire campground to ourselves. The owner tells us things get hectic during Salmon runs late summer and early Fall. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Nice level site. No special amenities, but we loved being able to walk from the campground to the beach. Didn't use the restrooms, but looked at them and they appeared clean, although seemed a bit on the cool side. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in a full hook-up with sewer in the space. The Pacific Ocean is about 100 yards to the west. The Rogue River is about 75 yards to the north. Lots of boats fishing for salmon and we saw 5 pulled into boats. There were about 50 people fishing for perch on the sand spit in the middle of the river. Beautiful weather with a light breeze. We'll be back as often as we can. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had stayed here before and wanted to try it in the summer and wouldn't you know it, but the weather changed and was worse than when we were here before. Still was a good time and we love the fact that both the river and the ocean are so close. The sites are gravel and the grass is dry, but the Wi-Fi was the best I saw on our whole 4 week trip. Will probably stay here again this winter when we come back thru. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

More rustic, outdoorsy type campground. Very green and beautiful but everything in Oregon seems to be that way. Management friendly but you didn't see them much. Although I guess we didn't need to. Was not an upscale, fancy park but we will return because of its proximity to the ocean and to the Rogue River. This is what camping when we were young was all about. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great setting! Our site backed to the river at the far end away from the 101, so freeway noise was not an issue. When outside by the RV, we could hear the surf pounding on the beach. Easy walk from the RV park to the beach. Don't know about the Wi-Fi, but our Sprint Mi-Fi card worked great here, as did our phones. In the morning, we could see deer on the other side of the river. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
