Very nice county park. No cell service, internet service or satellite TV! With that said, roughing it was great. Disk golf course was wonderful! Firewood was sold, 10 pieces for $5.00. Ice was also for sale. Signage was poor, hard to find our reserved site! Nice little beach area next to the boat launch. We enjoyed our stay here, road noise was a minimal at night. Campground was very clean, We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice spaces in a county park with a lot of grassy area and trees. Sites are set up back and to your side, so it seams like no one right next to you. No AT&T Cell, no internet and too many trees for Satellite at our site. No pay phone either. Made for a non electronic weekend. Park is right next to the Rogue River with a sandy beach area for swimming. New boat ramp was put in recently. Nice 18 disc golf course. Helpful county park attendants that are here full time. Camp-host were gone for the season. We did hear traffic now and then on road during the day. What can you do about very loud Crows and Blue jays? Night time was nice and quiet. Six deer came threw our camp site at dusk. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Camped here for 3 nights with my 9 year old granddaughter. The showers were not very clean. No cell phone service or Wi-Fi but they have a nice playground, basketball court, lots of grass, family friendly; on the Rogue River. A special treat is an "ice cream" man nightly in the summer selling Nestle treats. Had a great time and since I generally camp in California the rate of $22 for full hook-ups was remarkable. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
This was a nice park like setting with lots of green grass and shade trees. Tents, yurts, cabins, and RV sites were available. During the week there were few people here but the place was filled to capacity on the weekend. Water pressure was good and electrical voltage was good. Sites were not level; some were dirt and others asphalt. Not a bad place for an overnight stay during the week. Park is located about 10 miles west of Merlin, OR on Merlin-Galice Road. No cell phone signal, no internet; a rather rustic camping experience. We camped here in a Motorhome.
