This is a park that is a bit worn around the edges but functioned well for us for one night. It is located on a river. For those who like that kind of thing It also has a fish pond and a small golf course. Our site was a bit muddy, as it had just rained, but the hookups worked fine. The cable TV and WI-Fi also worked. It was a pull-through site. Bathrooms were basic and relatively clean. The showers are pay showers at 25 cents for 4 minutes. The low rate was due to Passport America discount. We only stayed one night. Very nice host lady. Farther from the highway than we would have liked, but worked as a quick stopover. Nice park, pull through, picnic table at your spot. Right on the river. Very nice proprietor. Quiet, easy exit off I-5, quiet, nice little putting green and fishing pool. We stayed here 6 months ago, and will stay again if we are close by. We used Passport America rate. Wi-Fi comes with the price, and some satellite T.V. stations. AAA rate. Not sure why this campground has been rated so highly. It's fine, but nothing special. We drove 2 miles off the Interstate because it was supposed to be quiet, but there was significant traffic noise. The light in the laundry room didn't work and the washing machine ate my quarters. Which is probably just as well, because I later found out the water was tea-colored, so we didn't hook up. Wide spaces, friendly staff, pay showers, slooooow WiFi. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice location off exit 113 about a mile and a half from the freeway. Very quiet and friendly neighbors and great managers. We didn't use the golf course, but it looks like fun. It's very small, like a pitch-n-putt. Only noise at night were the trains. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great campground! Very friendly people at check-in. The park is very clean and well kept. The bathroom and showers are both very nice and clean. My 2 teenagers loved the pool table. We had a back in spot overlooking the river and it was very nice to sit out with our "neighbors" and enjoy the river view. Wi-Fi and cable worked well. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We found the park management to be very helpful. When I made the reservation, I explained that our son and his family were traveling with us using a tent. Although the park is not set up for tents, they accommodated us by giving us an end spot with a large grassy area for the tent, and shutting off the sprinklers to keep it dry. Our grandkids loved all of the water features around the small golf course. The park is very well maintained, including the restrooms. Another plus is its distance from I-5 (about 2 miles, and the adjacent road was lightly traveled during our overnight stay. The park fronts a large still pool on the Umpquah River, and has a dock for swimming and fishing. This park goes on our "we will be back" list as it looked like a great place to sit and relax for a few days. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice hosts, about 12 mi from Roseburg via I-5. Near logging mill which has heavy truck traffic at times and noise. Golf course is short (<100 yards for each 6 holes) but fun to try out pitching and putting. Level sites, very good wifi reception, each site has ample area for each unit. Many long term units in area, call ahead for reservation, we extended our stay since it was in a nice area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Park was nice & green. Managers were rude. Our teens weren't allowed to go anywhere without supervision even-though all areas we could see them. While roasting marshmellows at 8:30pm, in our site, the sprinklers came and soaked us. There was a stray dog running around and while we were gone one afternoon and it did it's business on our lawn. The managers then left a nicely nasty note that they weren't able to mow our lawn because of our dogs mess. After that the manager made us feel very uncomfortable. When I made reservations I asked if they wanted my Visa # and they said that was not necessary. When we arrived they told us that they did not take Visa or MC. It would have been nice if they told us that BEFORE. Most of the people staying there were nice. We only had 1 other camper that was rude. I gave it a low score because of the management, otherwise the park was clean and well kept. Just beware to find out watering & mowing schedules or you might get a surprise. This is a terrific campground. The manager is very helpful and friendly. The scenery is outstanding. Even though it is located close to I-5, there is minimal noise from the freeway. Most sites are nicely shaded and all are reasonably level. It doesn't have Wi-Fi, but our broadband worked well as did the cell phone. We were able to use our satellite with no problems. There is a golf course close by (Myrtle Creek Golf Course) which is reasonable and fun to play. We will definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We drove past this park on the highway, and it looked so inviting that we stopped immediately. This is a beautifully landscaped park with tall trees and lush flowers. The pull through site we were first assigned was picturesque, but a little narrow for our 35' fifth wheel. We were able to change sites with no problem. The staff and campers here were extremely friendly, and a manager lives on site, so any problems can be dealt with at any hour. Laundry is still as cheap as it was in the last review, and the machines operate well. There were no river sites available, but a walkway/boat launch led to the water and more incredible views. I would have given this park a higher rating if they had WiFi. Absolutely lovely quiet park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I was driving north on Interstate 5 and saw this delightful park along the South Umpqua River and just had to stop. This is a very reasonably priced place to just relax and do some quiet reading or just enjoy the river. The park does not have cable or Wi-Fi. If you don't carry a satellite, you might get 2-3 snowy channels if you play with your antenna. The rate is the rate before Good Sam, etc. discounts. This is one LOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGG RV park. Why do I say that? Because the majority (about 80%) of the sites are along the river bank. If you like to walk, you will get your minimum required daily exercise walking from one end of the park to the other. Spots 1-98 are "Full hookup," and Spots 99-117 are "partial" hookups (W&E at each), with tents allowed only on the "evens" in those sites. The river bank sites are all back-in. There are some back-in sites directly across from the river bank, but if you stay in those sites, you are right against Interstate 5 and road noise! There are also a few pull-through spots in the middle. If you carry a satellite, you may want to stay in those spots. As for the river spots, about a fifth of them actually have a good view of the river. The rest of the river spots are obstructed by trees growing out of the very high river bank. If you want a river view, be sure to ask for one. I had spot number 40, with good river view. That spot currently has a "make-shift" stairway that goes down to a very sandy "river beach" which also has a rocky area where you can climb and sit and gaze at the river. There is a rocky boat ramp for use of RV park guests only. It looked pretty steep to me! Boats can be stored at your own risk on the north end of the campground. If you want to use the campground restrooms and laundry, they issue you a key. I'm surprised they didn't charge a key deposit to ensure return of said key. The restrooms and laundry were fairly clean considering they are in cinder block buildings with concrete floors. Laundry was cheap! It was 75 cents each (wash and dry) if you use the "light duty" machines; and $1 if you use the "heavy duty" machines. I was able to wash a throw rug in the "heavy duty" machine. The park has a picnic pavilion, some horseshoe pits, and a propane station. There are some "permanent" residents here. One of the permanent residents told me that in the winter, it's good fishing from the back of your RV! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice campground. Very inexpensive for what you get. No cable TV, but should be able to get satellite at many sites. So. Umpqua is a beautiful, clear, smoth flowing, warm river this time of year. Would be great for canoe or kayak. Steep boat access for park residents with a sandy beach next to it. The park is well above the river with only a few trails down to it. Quite a few permanent types, but the park is kept very well. We were gold dredging and it worked out great. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a Good Sam park, but has very inexpensive weekly rates. Managers were very friendly and helpful. Sites are gravel with grass between. There are 17 pullthrus near the office, but all other sites back up to, and overlook the South Umpqua River. Some are shaded and some are open for good satellite access. Big grassy area across the road from the back-in sites. Park has river access ramp. Located at exit 112 off I-5 and about a mile and a half north of Myrtle Creek. There are two clean laundry rooms-one at either end of park. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice little park. This was our second time here, the other two years ago, and returned because we liked it so much last time. This is a simple little park. No "extra" stuff, just nice, level, clean places to park your RV. Very nice people in the office. About a mile off of I-5 so there was no freeway noise. A very small pool, but didn't use it in January. A great place to spend a night going north or south. Quite a few "permanents", but they keep their places nice. The park has six spots near the front reserved for "overnighters". Many pull-throughs. Previous reviewer mentioned "no picnic tables". Today each spot had two! A wooden rectangular one, and a round plastic one. We would, and will, definitely stay here again. Rate is Passport America. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very nice park, conveniently located off I-5. It is about a mile from the freeway so there is no noise. They recently added an off leash dog run, a fenced RV storage area, and discounted propane (to guests). The landscaping is starting to mature. Tents are allowed, but there is no specific tent area. I will stay here again when in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Spent almost 2 months here, from end of July to middle of September. The park is run by a lady that sees the main rules are followed. She is just friendly enough and extremely understanding. The laundry room is very clean and the park is as quiet as I have seen. I will definitely stay here again when I come to town. Propane is on site and a good price. RV service center just south of the park,and it's also close to grocery shopping. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean and quiet park. Considering the town/place, this is a VERY NICE place to stay if you are passing through and/or in the area for a short time. Restrooms and showers very clean. It did get new owners and what a GREAT job they have done on this campground. What a nice campground. This place is as clean as it comes. Paved roads, concrete to park the 5th wheel on, and grass. Great cable TV and fast internet. We would stay here again. Located just off I-5 so if you need a place, make sure you stop here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed for a week on PA discount. We were told the park was in Receivership. The Staff were excellent. The park has been cleaned up of the older rundown rigs that were there in the past. The grounds are very well maintained. The sites are paved and have pull-thrus as well as back-ins. There are no picnic tables. All facilities are very clean. No traffic noise but easy on/off to interstate. Hopefully Park will stay open. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We drove through this park a year ago and would not even think about staying here. We then came back to look in February, and oh my how things have changed. The park has cleaned up and the new manager is the best: she will help you in anyway possible. The grass is green and well maintained. Very clean. The 78 channel cable TV system is great and the WiFi worked very well at our spot. Would recomend this park to anybody. It is only four miles to the casino. We will stay here again. We stayed here overnight on our way down I-5. The staff changed our pre-paid reservation with no problem when we decided to arrive a day earlier. The sites have nice concrete pads with asphalt roads. The sites are wide, and just long enough for our 35'Class A and towed vehicle without unhitching. The internet was awful the evening we arrived, so slow it was unusable. Fortunately, there is a very nice restaurant / bar (Sweet Dixie) across the street with excellent free Wi-Fi. The internet was fine the following morning. The little downtown area was very cute with its Christmas decorations, but we had no time to explore. The excellent rate reflects CC USA discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Seems to be a fairly new park but rumor is that its fallen on hard times already and may not be available for short term stays in the future. Sites are clean but a little short for 40 + foot RVs. We thought this was a very neat and clean park. We saw no dogs off their leash. They do water every night but that just gives you green grass at each site. Concrete pads and blacktop roads. Laundry was clean and very reasonable price. No activities at park but we used it as a base to explore the area. Great casino only 2 miles away. We don't use the pool so didn't miss but do miss a hot tub. Easy access off I-5 but really didn't notice any excessive noise. Wi-Fi was great. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We came in late and the park manager waited to check us in. Very friendly atmosphere. Quiet, peaceful park. Wi-Fi worked great. Showers and bathrooms were new, automated and very clean. Laundry room was new and also clean. Stayed a few days. Saw no dogs off their leashes. Actually only saw one dog. He was a regular in the park. He loved our kids. Would definitely camp here again! This rate was with a CampClub USA discount applied. This is a no frills facility with a large percentage of residents. We found it quiet but several large dogs were out from time to time (pit bull type). Their owners were accompanying them (not necessarily with a leash), but we were still uncomfortable. The showers and laundry facility were clean. The showers required a few quarters. Parking was a little tight for our 45' 5th wheel. The internet connection was fine. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice stop-over when traveling I-5. This is a new park. Sites are nice and level with concrete pads and grass/small tree between sites. Would be nice to have a picnic table at each site. Park is fairly new & very well designed. The outside sites are back ins and taken by full timers. The inside sites are all pull throughs which are about 60-70 ft in length. All roads are paved. Sites are concrete with grass in between. The utilities are modern & well placed. Sites are big enough for any size coach with any number of slides. Park was very quiet, as it is 1 1/2 miles off I-5, & clean. Park is very big rig friendly & great for an overnighter. We camped here in a Motorhome.
