Nice quiet park, with a sandbox and play area for kids. Nice pool but only open for a few hours. Owner is not very friendly but over all an average, private campground. There is a nice park down the road with a little lake, beach, and a dog park. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
Owners nice. Nice playground and clean pool. Not many planned activities offered. Playground could use light at night. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We started camping at this park in June 06. At first, the people were nice, and the park is always clean. However, most of people at this campground are related and do not take kind to outsiders. The bingo callers grandkids love to cuss and pick fights. The oldest is about 12 and the little girl is 5. DO NOT CAMP HERE IF YOU HAVE A CHILD WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. I would not recommend this campground to my worst enemy. The owners only believe their family and you cannot dispute what they say. If you have a dog that the owner does not like, you're gone. They like to find reasons to make your stay miserable. This campground is not worth your time or aggravation unless you like listening to little kids cuss and like your kids to get into fights. Good luck! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This was a very nice stopping place on our trip East. The campground was very clean, very easy to maneuver a rig through. The people were very friendly. The only drawback was the showers didn't have private dressing rooms attatched. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Pros: Campground was neat and well-kept. Pool was clean. Owners were extremely friendly. Cons: Seasonals had preferred sites (larger and in shady areas). Sites are not overly large and hook-ups for short-term sites were configured in such a way that one site was a back-in and the site next door was a pull-in. Thus, the awning sides of two "neighbors" faced each other. This cut down on privacy a lot. I wouldn't make this a destination campground; but if you're visiting in the area, it's definitely worth staying at for a night or two. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed one night and they were very accommodating to our dogs. My only complaint was how they treated our traveling companions. We arrived before dark and thought our companions were less than an hour behind us, but they had gotten lost. After arriving late and finding the office closed, they assumed they would pay in the morning. They were startled by the owner looking for payment while they were setting up in the dark. He was very rude to them. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
