Site 11 was long, wide, and had view of the lighthouse on Presque Isle State Park. Well laid out county park with 2 dump stations. View of water - not waterfront but close to state park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice campground run by the City of Erie. Would have given this campground a 10 if it had sewer at each site. There are 2 dump stations. Every site has a wide level asphalt pad with plenty of room between sites, picnic table and fire ring. Roads are asphalt too. Located across the channel from the Coast Guard Station on Presque Isle. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground and facilities. I think it was all concrete pads. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Did not stay because this campground is now closed by State of Pennsylvania Court Order. Can not be reopened unless owner gets proper permits which is doubtful because of large fines he owes state. It is also under forclosure. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The owner and the staff of this campground were extremely rude. Most of the campground is made up of regular seasonal campers. Most sites are in a grassy field. Gravel drive into and around the campground. There is a covenience store on site. Bathrooms are in poor condition and showers do not drain well. Will not stay again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The showers were clean, but could stand to have them upgraded. Nice place to go when you want to remain in the Erie area to go places you need to go in this area for the weekend. I wouldn't want to go here often because it doesn't have activities and the water spickets do not have good drainage for absorbing water. Make sure you set up your tent far away from the water pipe. Tenters make sure you have a 220 line adapter to plug your AC cords into. The only thing this camp has is a small playground for the kids and a huge pond to look for green and brown frogs and other pond creatures. We camped here in a camper.

This is a good place to stay if you need an overnight spot close to the freeway. It would not be a place I would use as a destination for a week or so. It is an older campground and does not have many amenities for families. It was a good spot for us to stay overnight on a trip down Interstate 90. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good overnight stop. Fairly basic as other reviews have mentioned, but it was pleasant and we felt safe. Nice little store associated with the office. We would stop here again when passing through. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground has changed names to Presque Isle Passage. It has new owners. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. They have a great selection of goods in the general store. We stayed 3 nights. There is very little shade. We lucked out and got one of the better sites. We did walk around and seen there were quite a few sites we would not want to stay on. They would require a lot of blocks! The rest rooms were the cleanest we have ever seen in a camp site! We did not like the "timer" on the showers. We would stay again if we could get the same site we had gotten! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We used Passport America. We brought our dogs, and had we known we could have taken the camper over to the lake without the dogs, we would have kenneled them. We stayed on the other side of the road. There was a stream in back of our camper and the kids loved playing in it. The campground was clean and basically empty. This was the last weekend the campground was open for the season, so there were some seasonals shutting down their campers. Pay showers but nice. Great access to Presque Isle walking paths and access to the lake. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

An old park that has been in the family for 50 to 60 years. Mostly seasonal and I'm told there is a five year waiting list. We camped on the Lake Erie side where they allow tent camping right on the beach and RV's in the lane-way along the beach. Because it was off season it was very quiet and we had a lot of space around us. We enjoyed the view and would come back again but only in the off season because we could see that the place is a zoo in the high season. The amusement park next door is also closed in the off season so we didn't have to deal with the noise from that. Maybe a great spot for families and young people in the summer but not for us sixty year old types. They gave us free WiFi because we stayed two nights. Washrooms were old but clean and well kept. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Heed the warning on where the park is located. It's directly on your right, right after you come down the hill on Hwy 832. We missed it and had to do the loop. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the camp is old and tired. The electrical hook-up was so far away that I needed an extension cord. It was provided by the park guy. Water was just 25' and my single hose did the job. It's just an overnight sort of a place. We camped here in a Motorhome.
