Some of the park is shady; some under the trees. There are no cement pads. Looks as though a good many people are seasonal and leave their RV here. They have very good accommodations for horses--8 or so paddocks; probably 25 or 30 stalls and ample parking for horse trailers. There are also some cabins for rent. Bet this place is busy during the summer. You can ride your horse right across the road and you are in Gettysburg Civil War Park. There's also a driving tour and you can rent the audio cd in the RV office where everyone is very friendly and accommodating. This is the closest campground to the park. The sites are not very level and have gravel but if you're not a new camper, you can set up fairly easily. You can buy wood and there are fire pits. We like the accessibility to town and to the park and will stay here again. They do honor passport American Sunday thru Thursday and give 10% Good Sam discount. Two nights with tax etc; one Good Sam; one PA and the cost was $77. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground is in good location to see the area. Price reflects PA discount. Staff is friendly and helpful, sites are fairly level with some space in between. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The rate is Passport America. This is a nice location near the battlefield. There is easy access off of the highway. The sites are very close together, even in April when it's not very crowded. The staff was friendly. The bathrooms were adequate. There is a nice campstore full of collectable items. This is an okay campground, but not worth $55 full rate. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an over priced park for the quality. Roads are not paved and we had to drive to the very back of the park on a dusty gravel road. There are very few level sites if you have a larger coach. My rig and car was clean before I drove in and now looks like it hasn't been washed in months. This is rated 5 stars in Woodall's and to me it would be a 1 or 2 star. The only plus is it does have Wi-Fi that seems to work. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have never stopped in this part of the country but decided to visit the battlefields. I want to say 1st I want to rate the campground and then address my problem with their pricing. It is definitely an older CG. No cable TV and not much on the antenna. We had a pull through site which was not that level. Utilities were good and in the right location. It is not a Sat. friendly park as mentioned before it is an older CG with older trees which do grow if not trimmed. It is one of the top rated CG's in the area. Maybe as compared to others in the area it is, but we have traveled the country and feel it is not that good. Now as for the pricing. We used our PPA card. The posted rate is 29.00. Which would be a fair price for this type of CG. What I found out is they then charge a 20.00 a day charge for electric, sewer, and water. Then throw in some local taxes and they have successfully inflated the price and then use the passport discount. Remember the posted rate is 29.00 and we paid 26.00. Don't worry we will not be stopping again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed at this campground many times before. Although I enjoyed my stay, I wasn't quite as impressed this time around. The rate has increased, but they don't seem to be putting as much work into the campground. Our site was terribly unlevel and the grass on some of the sites were almost knee high before they took care of it. Very empty when we were here. Utilities including 60 channel cable worked well. Got Wi-Fi for three of the six days, as it was quite expensive. (Should be free with the high daily rate.) The Wi-Fi was very good, however. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We'd return again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here on Coast to Coast points. They do not offer sewer hookups for C to C and site location is in an odd section of the park. Park staff management was more than helpful and offered us another site in the park. Still without sewer, but we no longer had a neighbor's fire pit below our bedroom window. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground is outstanding. Highly recommend if you're staying in this area. We had site 46, back in, but private. All drives and campsites are stone, level, and clean. Curbside firewood delivery and trash pickup is nice too. Wish all KOAs were like this one. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is located just west of Gettysburg. The park is located in a wooded area. Most sites are back-ins for units less than 30 feet + tow vehicles. Depending on site location roads meander through trees closely adjacent to roads. We have stayed at this campground many times. It still remains our highest rated for the area. Have seen a significant decline to Wi-Fi performance from previous trips. With the campground nearly empty there were 1-2 bars and very slow. Almost to a point of being unusable at times. Still recommend for visiting the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed as R.O.D. members. Generally nice. Roads gravel but well maintained, site gravel and level but just big enough. We had no sewer but no problem as they had a dump station. Restrooms and showers were barely adequate for the number of guests. Found them to be reasonably clean but not spotless. Wi-Fi for fee, did not use. Seemed to be a great family campground, lots of families with kids, still quiet in the evening. Close to the Battlefield. Pool was not heated so did not use but was very nice. We will definitely stay here again. 7 rating was due to bathroom condition and availability. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The W/E sites are very close together. If this were high season, we'd be packed in like sardines. We were in site 194 and our friends with a pop-up were next door. It is all gravel and level, but with tall trees that might make it difficult for some to navigate the larger RVs (even the pull-thrus). It was preseason, but we couldn't get a waterfront site. Easy to get to, very close to the Gettysburg Battlefield and other Gettysburg shops and restaurants. Camp store is average (more camping gear and less fill-in foods if you forgot something). Staff was wonderfully helpful. Enjoyed their on-site hand scoop ice-cream. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Rate shown is before discounts. They also offer promotions on their web page. We got one night free so we averaged $40. Very nice campground just a couple of miles from central Gettysburg. Friendly staff, all the usual amenities of a 5-star campground. Several suitable back-ins for big rigs and a small number of pull through sites. Camp wifi worked & both Verizon & ATT had good signals. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here a few times. This time we were in the full h/ups with cable near the office. Theses sites were very level and quite large with a gravel pull thru. Sites come with picnic table and fire ring. Cable was pretty good with a decent amount of channels. Office staff was friendly. Lots of activities for the kids. Convenient to Gettysburg sites and restaurants. We will be back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Celebrated Easter in Gettysburg PA and chose Granite Hill as the campground. Sites are level and well kept. We arrived prior to their official spring opening, and they were working hard. Bathrooms were very clean, and it took a while to get hot shower water but when it arrived it was hot and plentiful. Camp store was very well stocked and reasonable on pricing. Staff was friendly and outgoing. Great location to explore Gettysburg from. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a pretty campground but please know they are partial to their regulars. Even though we stayed three weeks, they would not give us one of the premium sites which are empty all week except for the weekends. Many permanents here. Beautiful pond, pool, and children's activities plentiful. Don't bother with their little restaurant. Cable only works in the premium site. Wi-Fi only at office. Our Verizon Wi-Fi and cellphones were very spotty here. Good access to Gettysburg battlefield. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed overnight just to prepare our travel trailer for the winter. The owners and office manager were very nice. As stated, it is mostly seasonal and permanent trailers here. Not a problem so late in the season, but may pose an issue on crowded summer weekends. Our site was a level pull through at the front of this park, near the office. Wi-Fi worked well for us. Used the bathroom once and it was clean. The pool appeared to be large, but maybe not enough for all the summer campers. We would stay in the off season again, but not in the summer. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were traveling to Gettysburg and found that Round Top was the ONLY campground we were able to reserve a site for in October. Every campground in Gettysburg runs Halloween Weekends the entire month of October and book up early. We were lucky in that someone on a seasonal site had pulled out early. There are a LOT of seasonal campers in this campground. In fact, after my stay, I received an email from the campground inviting me to "go seasonal". We camped on a back-in site that had a concrete pad. It was sufficient for our needs in a 40 foot motorhome. We were parked next to a park model trailer that had been there for some time with several associated out-buildings and sheds. A few of the seasonal units looked like they had been there a very long time, but I didn't really notice anything messy in the area of our site. The electric worked well and the sewer connection was in a good location. I was not charged additional for cable that I'm aware of, but it is a pricy campground. Our site was fairly close to 15 and you do hear a lot of traffic noise. Inside, not so much. If you sleep with your windows open, it might be a problem. The roads are pretty narrow and winding and there are some sites better suited for smaller rigs (although the office knows this and won't try to put you on a site where you will not fit). The folks in the office were very friendly and provided some good advice for sightseeing in the area. I did not try to use the WIFI, although one of the repeaters was on the shower house a few sites away from me. I think it would work well. They use Tengonet, so if you have an account it should work fine. If I go to Gettysburg again, I'd go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
