Nice view of the river and reservoir. Nice walking path. Quiet park - lots of people going for leisurely walks. Nice playground for the kids. Washrooms were close and clean. Showers cost 25 cents for 4 minutes. Would have enjoyed a bit more shade or privacy, but sites were quite accessible. Pull-through sites available. Park locks down at night, lights out at 11 PM! Would stay here again if passing through. Pet-friendly. Paid Wi-Fi available. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
Well run park with approximately 50% seasonals but lots of nice sites for visitors. Site spacing is good, pads are level and many sites have views of the St Laurence River looking East. Wi-Fi is excellent but there is a $5 per day charge. Should be included for the daily rate of $36. It seems that most sites do not have shared connection posts quite common on the Gaspe. Another positive is that I did not see any side-by-side hookups. Other than a teenager at the check-in kiosk, nobody speaks English. This could make it difficult for some who speak no French. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very clean municipal campground with view over St-Lawrence (20 km wide here) to Charlevoix Montains. Marshes between campground and open water are snowgeese sanctuary. Modern bathrooms and showers. Only 26 km to world-famous woodcarver village St-Jean-Port-Joli, only 45 minutes to Quebec City area. Good base camp (if you don't need 50 amps or internet) to visit the Montmagny Islands, especially the Grosse Isle National Historic Site with history of immigration in general and Irish immigration in particular. Close to shopping. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
