This campground was a pleasant surprise. It was getting late, and suddenly we came upon this campground. (It was not listed in our Trailer Life directory.) Seasonal campers are the bulk of the campground's users, but there is an area with long gravel pull-throughs for those staying on a few days. It might be advisable to call ahead, especially in the high season. (514) 990-6647. English is spoken. There is a sparkling swimming pool, tennis court, volleyball, etc. plus fishing in the Ottawa River. It is in the country, close to the Quebec/Ontario line. From Montreal: Take Highway 40 West. Take Exit 9 at Rigaud, turn left and drive 5 kilometers. From Ottawa: Take Highway 40 East and take the first exit in Quebec. Go to Pointe-Fortune and take 342 East, in the direction of Rigaud. Drive 4 kilometers. (These directions have been copied from the campground's brochure.) There is an excellent Visitor's Center close-by on the Quebec/Ontario border. The folks there are extremely helpful, and English is spoken. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
