This campground sits on a small knoll on the tip of the island. Views are great. Most of the sites are taken by seasonal campers. No more than a dozen sites are available for transients. Most transient sites are fairly level. Some of the seasonal sites require extreme blocking to level. Hookups are marginal - water taps require 3 or 4 splitters to handle all the units. Electrical voltage drops in the afternoon when all the AC's cut in. Trash has to be carried to the main gate, about 1/2 mile away. Convenient boat ramp. No shade even for the tent area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
