Duck Mountain Provincial Park is located on the Sask/Man border, and a short drive from the town of Kamsack. If you want to camp in the forest, but still like a hot shower now and again, Duck Mountain is a great choice. We stayed in the tenting area as the RV sites were fully booked. The sites were large, surrounded by 30' birch and pine trees, and you felt like you were nestled into nature. We found a resting site for a pair of deer only 30' from our campsite (complete with deer). The lake was beautiful, clean clear water, great for swimming. The park has extensive paths for hiking, walking and cycling. Really a fantastic place if you enjoy the outdoors! Unfortunately for a park this size, which includes several church camps, many campgrounds, and cottage subdivisions, the store only carried junk food, bread and milk, and an assortment of things like matches and bug spray. And the food prices were outrageous. So buy your groceries in Yorkton or Kamsack on the way to the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
