This was probably a very nice campground many years ago, but is in need of maintenance. Roads are very rough and many sites are so overgrown they can't be used any more. When we were there it wasn't a very wet season, but there was one road that was impassable because of water over the road. The playground was swing set and teeter totter. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Interior roads are very rough and full of potholes. We got a pull-through site for our 35 foot 5th wheel and there were trees on both sides where we pulled out. It was extremely tight, but we made it. There is a swimming "lake" but of course at this time of year it was closed and rather dirty, which was to be expected. Wi-Fi was strong and worked well. Out site was dark so it was great for sleeping and there was no traffic noise. I looked at the washrooms and showers with the intention of using them but they were quite dirty and had dead insects all over the floor. Also the showers cost 25 cents for 2 and a half minutes. No thanks, I will use the ones in the trailer. This campground is OK for a night off the freeway. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This may have been a very nice campground at one time and may be again, but right now, its a mess. Recent floods in southern Saskatchewan has resulted in about half the campground being flooded and currently closed. Several of the washrooms are closed, and the interior roads have major potholes and mud. The voltage on the 30 amp service was so sporadic, it ranged from 100 to 120 volts on my voltmeter. This resulted in damage to the air conditioner circuit breaker which I needed to have replaced at a cost of $100 at our next stop. The campground has a nice swimming pond, and if the management can repair the flood damage and the roads, it could once again be a very nice park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
CAA rate. Have stayed here before and liked it despite the rain both visits!!! The interior roads could use some work but the park is really beautiful and peaceful. Very easy access from the Trans Canada Hwy. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A private campground that reminds us of a state park. Very friendly, helpful owners, guided us to an RV repair facility for electrical problem. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
