Very family friendly park, about 30km from Saskatoon. They do have a 2PM check in time so if you arrive early you will be waiting around. The lake is swimable but a little slough like. We liked our stay and would definitely come back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We camped here on May Long Weekend with friends. We made the reservation in February on the Saskparks website and were able to get a very large double site. We had no problem getting both trailers and our vehicles into the site and still had lots of room leftover. The only problem with the site was they had put one of the fire pits in spot that made it impossible for one trailer to plug in without an extension cord. Ours seemed to be the only double site that had the odd placement for one of the fire pits. They do have a lot of double sites. They are all very nicely treed. Swimming in the lake is not recommended, it is more like a slough but they do have a pool that is open from mid-June to the end of August/beginning of September. It is a very family friendly park with lots and lots of kids on bikes. The pull through sites are very wide open and not private at all. We really liked this park and chose it because of how close it was to Saskatoon. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
