This is a great place to stay if you are needing a place that is a little country, but not to far from city. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. Upon our arrival they were their to meet us, and helped us set our fifth wheel up. The owners live on site and are always available. It is a very quiet and peaceful park located in a very pretty area. We brought along a dog and she had plenty of room to run and play fetch, which many campgrounds lack. The grass and grounds were kept up, and they even weed-eat around our camper which was very nice! They keep a close eye on things, which made me feel more comfortable about leaving things outside. I have no complaints about this campground! I would definitely stay here again, and the rates are amazing compared to the other spots around this location (we stayed here a month so not sure on the nightly rate). If you are older or just looking for a quiet place to park, this is the place to be. They don't have the pool or bath house/laundry, but it isn't too far from a town that can meet all your needs. The owners even offer a drop off laundry service through their home, and even offer to wash and wax your camper for a great price! Out of all the sites in the Spartanburg/Gaffney area this one's the best! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

You'll feel welcome as soon as you drive in and meet the staff. This is a campground in development with new sites, great equipment, quiet, clean, green and fairly priced. Long term campers are welcome, as well as overnights. If you need set up help, are new to Rv'ng, or just want to talk "camping" - you'll enjoy the conversation. Several on-site long term campers enjoy the quiet, the comfort of knowing that staff make a point to know everyone and encourage a sense of community. Before you stay anywhere else in the area - be sure to stop in and check this campsite out. We are very happy to be here. Exit 102 Interstate 85 140 Carroll Drive Blacksburg. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I hate to give this such a low rating because it had a nice family atmosphere. I was very disappointed in the condition of the roads and campsites. Compared to Lake Wateree and Dreher Island State Park it is in desperate need of an overhaul. The amenities are in great shape, but the roads and sites are a mess. The whole place is a dust bowl. The main road is not paved and is in need of a new top layer of gravel. The sites are even worse. We had site 70, which was for a 35 ft rig, it was so unlevel that a six foot person could walk under the front end of our fifth wheel standing straight up. We needed an extra step to get out of the trailer in addition to the 3 stationary ones. I doubt this lack of maintenance is due to the economy, it is obvious the state has focused on other parks during the boom times. It is a shame because it is a nice park that is always full. The least they could do is put some money back into the park to provide adequate site setups for all types of rigs. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great park and I love it. However the park is going down hill. The upkeep of the park is poor at best. The park is not big rig friendly. The sights are not level and you don't know where the parking is. Also the campground host are not friendly they are the ones who run the park and will let you know it. If the management would take charge and treat the campers with the respect they deserve it would be perfect. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We love this campground!! it's close to home for a nice weekend get away! The park is always clean and full with families having a nice time. I would like to mention the lady from the general store. She's always nice, polite and professional. I love chatting with her when I'm checking in, and picking up some last minute supplies. The sites are all shaded, pretty level and easy to access. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
