Found this nice park between Columbia and Camden SC. Not a lot of glamor but that's not necessary for us. We liked it a lot. Plenty of space between sites, pull thru was large enough to stay hook to tow. Sites appeared to be a mixed of hard pack gravel - no issues. Bathhouse/restrooms were very good. Had a laundry room but did not use. Plenty of room to walk, see the petting zoo (goats, pony and donkey). Very friendly owner, very reasonable rates (weekly-monthly). Will definitely stay again and hopefully longer. We camped here in a Motorhome.
My basic requirements are 50amp, Wi-fi and a clear shot to the satellite. This park had all three. Other than that, it was a field with easy interstate access. We camped here in a Motorhome.
If it were not for the scattered travel trailers, 5th wheels and the occasional motorhome in the park, you might think this place was abandoned. Since we had 50 amp and sewer/water, it was better than a truck stop, but certainly not worth $30 a night. Interior roads were fair and sandy. No map was provided at check-in. Directional signs were old, home painted, and very difficult to read. Trees are in desperate need of pruning/trimming. Actually the entire property is in dire need of upgrades and TLC. I seriously doubt if we would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
As the previous posts indicate, this is a good place to spend the night. It is very basic. TV worked well on the antenna, WiFi was good, shopping and gas were not too far away. It was easy on and off the interstate. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The sites are basic and clean. The people are very nice and friendly. There are not many amenities. It makes a good base camp if you are staying in the area. It is not far out of Columbia. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Satisfactory for an overnight or base camp. Staff friendly and helpful. Area clean & well mowed. Grassy
and/or sandy sites. Easily accessed from I-20. We camped here in a camper.
