This camp is great if you are looking for a quiet area to get away. The new concrete sites are very level. Back in sites with a few pull in, but no pull thru. They are not on top of each other, plenty of room between you and the next site. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Great pads, all concrete. Only has 4 pull thoughts. No wireless. No trains, planes or automobiles, meaning no noise. Woke up to birds, how great is that! This campground is remote but well worth the trip. Great friendly staff. No hassle check in. Swimming is at the lake and only when MWR life guards are working. No cable but they were working on it when we arrived. I expect it will be up soon. Great place and we will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Ten new full service sites scheduled for 2003. Bathhouse renovation also scheduled. Maintenance of facilities is poor because of poor service from Ft. Jackson. Cleaning done only on a as-needed basis. Cabins stay dirty until someone reserves one. Located adjacent to Ft Jackson. Groceries, gas, laundromats are a short drive. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
