This is 2nd time we have used badlands KOA as home base to tour the sites. The new owners are friendly and working on the grounds constantly. There is a large dog park with a cool down tub. Wifi was excellent. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We camped here for two nights as a base camp while visiting the Badlands and the city of Wall. The entire state is in a drought and this was evident in the surroundings and the camp. The sight we had was somewhat hard to get into for a pull through but adequate. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful checking on us from time to time. Very quite and peaceful. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Large, well kept and mostly wooded park. Clean and staff was very nice. Understand this is their first season as owners and they are really trying to make it all right with everyone, I think. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park was on the edge of Badlands National Park. The owners were very helpful giving park information as well as surrounding areas. Don't expect much from the town of Interior as it is very small but it does have a restaurant as well as the campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great campground to use as a base for spending some time in the Badlands. It was wonderful to watch the sun come up over the rock formations! Our site (#1) was level and long enough to make utility hookup go just fine. Water pressure was adequate. Verizon and Sprint for the most part worked OK; occasionally service was slow. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highway noise is minimal during the night. The state parks offer recycling. At our power box, there was no plug for a 110 connection. The 50amp sites seem to not have a sewer connection. If you want sewer, you will get a 30 amp connection. Several of the sites had tree branches hanging over the pad; they would need to be trimmed before you could use the site. The roads could be tight if the park is busy. We stayed until they closed for the season. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed here one weekday night in mid Spetember. We had a FHU, pull through site near the office. After a few tries we were able to connect to the WI-FI. It worked OK. There is no cable TV, but most sites are satellite friendly. The roads and sites are gravel. Most of the pull throughs are very long and there is ample space between the sites. There were only about a dozen RVs (some long term) here the night were stayed and it was very quite. The adjacent road is not heavily used. There is an above ground pool surrounded by a wooden deck and some very old playground equipment. Other facilities (the restrooms and laundry in the same building as the office and restaurant) are also old but clean and adequate. Unfortunately, pancake breakfasts were over for the season. The low nightly rate makes the lack of updated facilities acceptable. The view of the Badlands to the north is great. The location view, and price are great. The park's facilities are old but OK. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground is apparently closed. I called both phone numbers and sent emails with no response. We ended up camping at elsewhere and were very happy. People I spoke to in the town of Interior were not surprised that "Badlands Ranch & Resort" had gone out of business as it had a very bad reputation in the town. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Don't know where to begin. This campground was in the Passport America book, and we had tried all day to call ahead for a reservation, but only received a recorded message of "out of the office for a bit". When we finally got someone, we were advised she would be out of office, but would be back shortly. Since it had been a long driving day, we decided to set up and wait for someone to return to collect money. The showers were demolished and appeared to be permanently non-functioning. However, they did have one (1) bathroom with a shower in the conference room building, but the door did NOT have a lock. The primary reason we chose this place was it was off the beaten path, and had a beautiful pool as we had kids with us. I wouldn't put fish in the pool. It was green with algae. Nothing had been done to it. We were so tired that we stayed there for the evening at the PPA rate and hit the road the next morning. Stay away from this one. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Don't know where to begin. This campground was in the Passport America book and we had tried all day to call ahead for a reservation. Only received recorded message of "out of the office for a bit". We went anyway and found the office locked and no other customers. Since it had been a long driving day, we decided to set up and wait for the office to open or someone to return to collect money. The showers were demolished and appeared to be permanently non-functioning. No one ever arrived, neither owner nor other guests. In the morning we left our payment (at P.A. rate) taped onto the locked office door. Stay away from this one. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
