We liked this place. The WiFi is feeble, there is no cable TV and the 4:00am freight train sounds as if it is coming through our trailer, but the place has its charm. Staff is warm and friendly, the many trees give the park a country charm and the sites were large and grassy. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
I have been to this campground a couple of times, and I was not very impressed. The campsites were dirty and the showers were not clean. I would prefer to go to West Whitlock in Gettysburg. Not only is the campground nicer, but the view is fantastic. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great place on the Lewis and Clark Ntl Historic Trail. It also has several cabins to rent and a club house for family gatherings. Sitting Bull monument nearby. Very close to Lake Oahe for walleye fishing. Very family oriented and clean. Only drawback is a train track is right next to the campground, but is infrequent. We camped here in a Motorhome.
