Centennial Campground is a nice little park, conveniently located on a frontage road right off I-90. The staff/owner couple were very helpful. For example, when I asked if they knew where we could drop off the recycling we'd been collecting for several days, the lady owner went above and beyond by calling around town to try to find us a drop off center. And the man owner came out to help us level our RV. Very friendly owners, super nice. The campground itself is a big, grassy, flat field. Very pretty. There are a few full timers here but it was 90% empty when we were here. We were the only non-full timers when we stayed. The laundry is fine and was clean; 3 washers for $1.25 each and $1 for 50 minutes for the dryers. What I especially love is the way the owners have an honor system for using their laundry supplies. There is a little cup and they ask you to pay "20 cents for a cup full of detergent, 10 cents for a dryer sheet" etc. Just very home town and thoughtful. The bathrooms and showers are clean, maybe a bit old style but the owners add paper towels and nice smelling soaps to make it nice. This is a no-frills type place but very reasonably priced at $24 when we stayed. They don't take Good Sam at such a low price, I can't blame them. We stayed 2 nights while hiking nearby parks. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Back when they were seperate parks, we had been to both this park and the park (Mtn. View) that Chris' took over . Chris's was the better park back then, and they have done a good job of renovating the old Mtn. View section of the park with better sites and bathrooms. We had a FHU, pull-through with cable TV and free WI-FI that was also satellite friendly. Many sites are not satellite friendly due to how heavily treed many sites are. There are a wide variety of sites (pull-through and back-ins, FHU, W&E, cabins, cable or no cable, etc.) so it is hard to say how good the sites are. The pull-through sites I saw were not long enough to leave a toad hitched. Many of the back-ins, however, were wide enough to easily park the toad next to the RV. Lots for families and kids in this park: 2 pools (in seperate areas of the park), a kiddie pool, a small basketball court, a playground, etc. Unfortunately, the animal farm/petting zoo is now closed. There are numerous laundries and bath houses. The ones I checked out were clean. Sadly, the showers were coin operated. This park is heavily used by locals for outings and get-togethers and is a destination park for many return customers. This is a nice park with good facilites and amenities. It is well located to be a base camp for many the northern Black Hills attractions. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here because of the positive comments posted prior. We certainly agree it is a great stop. Only downside was the very tight sites. There is not much room to move around outside under the awning. Other negative was one of the owners at times lacks decorum. The other owner was great and extremely helpful. We used our Dish satellite and Verizon MiFi which had a 4G signal. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very well maintained RV Park. Chose the location because it is central to all the sights we wanted to see in the Black Hills area. We were not disappointed about anything. Because it is a very family oriented venue the only problem was driving within the campground. Kids darted into roadway and road bikes as if they were on sidewalks. However, quiet time was heeded. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The pools are great - very well maintained. Location is great - beautiful countryside, no train noise, limited vehicular noise, near good shopping. Portable fire pits were provided for campfires. Excellent place for an extended stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is now merged with the Mountain View Campground, making it a good size park. The hosts are very helpful. The site we were in was gravel and we were close to our neighbors: no room to sit outside. There were some nice tent sites. Not much room to walk the dogs, and the Wi-Fi was spotty. Our Sprint phone/Hot Spot worked OK. This park is a little too "family" friendly for us. Lots of kids running around. But it is vacation time. We would stay elsewhere next time we are in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner and his golf cart. We hopped on and he allowed us to pick our site even though they had one reserved for us, we picked a different site. This is pay cash or check, no credit cards. The $33 after Good Sam discount. After we picked our site the owner then lead us back to it and made sure we were lined up. Right away we decided to stay more than our original 2 nights and decided to stay 3 more. Very friendly, family owned park. A great place to camp overnight or extended stay. Probably very busy during bike rally but another time this CG is A+. Wi-Fi off and on but worked great when on. We camped in site 20 across from pool (heated), laundry, showers and restrooms. Great location. We would come back here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We arrived at dusk. The person in the office was friendly and led us to our site with his golf cart. I went to plug in the power cord and stepped in a pile of dog crap. I then rushed over to the other side of our trailer to warn my wife but it was to late as she had done the same. I returned to plug the cord in as the trailer next to us opened their door and let their dog run loose. The dog charged me, I shouted at the dog and its owner came out and shouted at me for upsetting his dog. When I left early the next morning there were two other dogs running loose doing their business. I will not stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We were here in a very quiet time. Few campers here and was blissfully peaceful, away from I-90 but easy, close access. This is a well maintained park with very friendly and helpful staff. Only reason to not give it a 10 was the off and on Wi-Fi access. Verizon was strong here and so used my MiFi. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We loved this park! The owners were so friendly and helpful. The sites were spacious and the grounds were green with trees and grass. We had off-and-on issues with Wi-Fi but had great signal for AT&T connection. We were out looking at so many sights in the area we hardly had time for computers anyway. Chris’ is an excellent, very well maintained park with all the amenities and very congenial host. Space permitting, they take you to a number of sites in a golf cart and let you pick from those available. A couple of caveats: they don’t take credit cards and if you select a site on the perimeter of the park you will not get Wi-Fi. Also they recently acquired a campground that was contiguous to the north side of their property and those sites are very tight. Spearfish is a great little city and is centrally located for visiting Sturgis, Deadwood, the Black Hills and Devils Tower. There is a Wal-Mart about 1.5 miles from Chris’ location. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We loved this campground. Very friendly. They show you around the Campground to view the available sites. Two pools, one for adults and one for families with kids. Lots of room and lots of Shade. Excellent Wi-Fi and cable TV. Will stay here again next year. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great campground! The only reason why we rated a "9" is because of distance between sites. It is tight between sites, but this appears to be the case with SD campgrounds. The rate paid reflects Good Sam discount. First, the owners are fantastic people. The children provide services like dog walking if you were going to take in a long day of sight-seeing. The owner could tell you where to find the most interesting places to see if you wanted something off the beaten path. The owner will see you to your campsite. There are several sections, and he will take you around to the available campsites to let you choose your site. They were able to move us to a more shady site when we asked. The CG is extremely clean and well cared for with respect to dog walking and trash. We are making our 2nd trip here this Summer. Spearfish Canyon is almost within walking distance. You are very close to Devil's Tower in WY and about one hour's drive to Mt. Rushmore/Crazy Horse. You are about 100 miles from Badlands. There's a Wal-Mart, grocery store and hospital close by if you need it. They will let your packages/mail be shipped to the office too. If you are in the mood for a nice meal, go to the Bum Steer. It is fantastic! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Narrow Sites. Poor internet reception. Cable comes and goes. Many pull-through spaces are not accessible and you must back into them. Friendly and helpful staff. We may have just caught them at an unfortunate time based on other reviews of the park which were very complimentary. However we were disappointed. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Owners are very friendly and helpful! They have two clean swimming pools and a petting farm for kids with daily bottle feedings. When this park is full, there is very little room between sites (only the width of a picnic table). Wi-fi was not working and advertised cable only had local affiliates (about 5 channels). Reliable electric service, but water pressure very low. Convenient to Spearfish Canyon and historic downtown. Easy access to I-90. Cash or checks only. Good Sam rate shown. Open sites or shaded with nice large trees. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Price reflects discount. We have stayed here before and we definitely would stay again. They are so nice and friendly. They drive you around upon arrival so you can see what is available and where you'd like to park. It's much bigger now, as they just purchased and added the lower campground that was just before their driveway. They are busy getting everything up to present, with two swimming pools, tents, cabins and still have privacy. The pads are quite level and spaced nice between sites. We had problems with Wi-Fi, only because they were working on it! Cable TV was good. It's a great family CG, and they even have a small petting zoo for kids with goats and baby calf. Would stay here again and definitely recommend it. Handy to Historic downtown, a nice golf course and other businesses along the frontage road only a few miles away. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here 5 nights. The site we stayed in had plenty of room, well spaced, shaded and level! Unfortunately they had closed the new bathhouse and we were near the old one. They had repainted you could see, and it was clean enough but still room for improvement. There is a charge for showers, opted to use our own in the RV instead. The laundry was in a dark building, but machines worked fine, did what we needed for a few days. In my opinion, they could tear the building down and start over. BUT location was very nice and convenient to everything and everywhere. Nice people, helpful with any questions and I would definitely stay here again!! They're working on things you can see. At different times a group of wild turkeys walked through and we saw off in a distance some deer feeding out in a field. We enjoyed the dark quiet nights. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place, nice people in the office. They went out of their way to find information for us on the place and times where we could get our SD driver's licenses renewed since the office in Spearfish was not open. We had a choice of sites and we were escorted via golf cart to see all the available sites. Pretty surroundings. Got to help bottle feed the baby goats, lambs and calves in the evening at the Pet Farm next to the office. We would definitely stay here again. Rate reflects Good Sam Discount. Great campground with hosts that take good care of you. A variety of sites and they ride around with you and help you choose the site you'd like. Wi-Fi worked fair and that is the only reason we won't give them a 10. Heated pool, clean grounds, easy access to I-90 and the fabulous Spearfish Canyon Road are good reasons to choose this campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at Chris' Camp immediately after the area had been inundated by bikers for the rally at Sturgis, SD. The staff were very helpful with getting us into our site, providing travel information and making our stay enjoyable. The site was shaded and spacious. I would definitely stay here again if I visit lower South Dakota. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground had an eclectic office worker, less than enthusiastic (he was having a bad day, apparently) but we forgave that. Showers are pay showers- $0.25 for 5 minutes. Very clean bathrooms. The sites were all gravel, and VERY VERY close to each other. Thank goodness we were there on a Sunday night, and it wasn't full. There would be no room for even walking around if it were full. Positives- VERY quiet, clean bathrooms, no road noise, some nice views. Negatives-pool was not open, sites were tight, showers were pay, gravel everywhere. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed at Chris's on our way west this spring. It was early so the drive through sites didn't have water yet but Chris helped get my fresh tank filled. Was a very clean park and plenty of room to go for walks. The hosts were extremely friendly and willing to help with anything. I would most definitely stay here again. This is a great campground and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. It was very busy over Labor Day weekend. Our site accommodated a 40 ft coach with 3 slides and our towed jeep wrangler. The office staff was very accommodating. Wi-Fi was very nice. We visited with people from all over and everyone was glad they picked Chris'. W/D are clean and pretty new: $ 1.50 for each. Deluxe cable TV. Nice 30/50 amp. Nice atmosphere and we would definitely return and tell others. With any review, it is all in the eyes of the beholder. Keep camping and remember to live life to the fullest. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this campground 2 times in the last 2 years. The owners are friendly and try to be accommodating. Our second stay was not as enjoyable as our first. It maybe because summer had not ended yet. Overall it is a fair campground but your are squeezed together when it's crowded. Half of the sites are shaded and the others have full sun. We are RV full-timers and maybe this isn't the right place fore us anymore. There was too much noise with adults & children running around through our campsite showing no respect. One camper next to us would let their large dogs relieve themselves in or on our site and it smelled badly. Informed the owners of this but I don't think they were forced to leave. We ended up moving to the other full sun sites in order to get away from the sardine feeling and ended up in the middle of a redneck family reunion. The wireless internet was a joke unless you were parked next to the office. Cable TV worked great. The washer and dryer's are on the old side and do not clean or dry your clothes well so we ended up using the local laundromat in town.The camp location is close to some tourist attractions but most of them are a good 45min to 1 hr away. We full time RV and this place is more for families with young children. Next time we are in this area we are going to stay at another campground.One more note, we did not pay the $30 per night but a monthly rate which was discounted. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A very friendly place, with knowledgeable folks who own it. Very quiet due to distance from I-90, and very accessible to Spearfish and surrounding communities. The office has a small supply of necessaries, which is convenient. Wi-Fi worked well, and we had ATT phone service. ATT air card didn't work. The park would benefit from a propane station, as the only one in town is very difficult to maneuver around. Sites were generally good, but need leveling in many cases. Some have quite steep approaches, which makes for interesting backing. There is a fairly deep swale along the camp roads, but not so deep as to cause problems pulling out of the sites. The laundry room is problematic. It is cold water only: the addition of an on-demand water heater would improve things greatly. There are too many video machines in the room and not enough folding space. Also, larger laundry machines and a wheeled laundry cart for unloading the dryers would be a big improvement. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a go-to campground. We thought we were going to hide out over Labor Day from the crowds. The crowds came here. It is very shady, grassy, and level. The pool has been full of kids. The atmosphere is very laid back. We talked with one family who live in Spearfish who come here for a change of pace. We would stay here for a summer. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Office person was the friendliest I have run into in a few years. Very helpful on what to see in the area. The site was fairly level. Cable TV worked well and not too much problem with the Wi-Fi. The petting zoo was great fun. The mosquitos were really bad. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

My husband and I were just needing a place to stay for one night when we were heading home to Iowa from visiting Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks but we liked this campground so much we stayed an extra day! The office people were incredibly friendly and helpful. They advised us of the best tourist spots to hit, which roads we could and should not take our camper on, where to find the nearest car wash, etc... and the price for a full hook-up site was fantastic. My husband and I are already planning a trip back to the Spearfish/Rapid City area and will absolutely return to this campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

It was a perfect location to see all the different sites in the area. The owners are very friendly and everyone there was extremely helpful. They even let me feed the baby goats and lambs! Called ahead to make reservations for this park in Spearfish and glad we did as the week-end we were there, there were lots of local activities. We got the last spot. Owners are great, very helpful and friendly. The park itself is rather a hidden jewel up on the hill and large. We had a back in space just big enough for our 40 foot motorhome. The spots are very close together and we had to park our tow vehicle across the road. Our neighbors were rather noisy and because we were so close it did make a difference. I checked several times for Wifi access and was never able to find any, however I did pick up the signal from the RV park next door! The guy next to us was not able to use his dish due to all the trees blocking the feed. The park itself was clean and very busy. The location was good for our local travel plans from Spearfish, we stayed three nights. I did notice others were having issues with not being able to pick up any Wifi signal. I did like the campground however I felt the spots were too close together, we would likely stay here again but for shorter time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very friendly staff, let us preview several site before choosing. Escorted to our site and assisted us in backing in. Some pull thrus, full hookups including strong Wi-Fi and cable. Some shaded sites. Some sites a little tight, some sites have trees that impair the opening of awnings and/or slides. Staff very helpful in making sure your site is right for your needs. This is a good spot to park a big rig and drive the winding roads to Lead and Deadwood; convenient to Devils Tower, Wyoming also. Many activities for kids, but not disruptive to retirees. We were looking forward to this CG based on the website, but it is misleading. The owners were very nice, but this is just another parking-lot-on the grass-CG. Open your slide and you cover the next site's picnic table. There are pull-through rows available and we got one, but that was a mistake. When we got up to leave at 7am, the other campers had beached their trucks and toads all over the lane and we had no way to get out! We would have had to wake at least 6 campers to get them to move their vehicles off the lane, so we did not tell the owners or wake the camp. We finally backed up 100' and went over an open grass field to get out of the park. The CG lanes are also littered with "speed bumps", which are not needed as the road is bad enough to provide many of them my itself. We would not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We reserved a pull thru site and was told this campground had pull thru sites, but they do not. The sites are all back in sites and very close together. Plenty of shade trees. The campground looks as if it is still under construction. I did visit the laundry room and did laundry, it was clean and well kept. The pool was large and also well kept. There were several sites that looked to be lived on year round and some not well kept. The entry to the campground is very steep and narrow. This was not one of my favorite campgrounds but I would stay there again for one night only not an extended stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Our rate included a Good Sam discount. The sites were spacious with green grass and shade trees. There is a fire pit at most sites. There are no bugs, no trains, and no freeway noise. Everything is close: Wal-Mart, restaurants, freeway, downtown. We drove to Devils Tower from here and it was about an hour and a nice drive. Go through Belle Fourche on the way home from the tower it's a pretty drive. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Small petting zoo. WiFi was very good. About 350 bikers joined the camp after we arrived, and we didn't hear a peep from them. I did not see the bathrooms or laundry, but the buildings looked a bit older. There is a small charge for the showers. I would love to stay here a full summer, so we would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice thing: when we pulled in we were taken on a golf cart tour of the place to pick out which site we would like of the available sites. Nice trees and very relaxed environment. There are about 62 full hookup sites and the rest are tent sites. The campground is very clean and in super condition. The problem I have with this campground is that I can't imagine how crowded it would be if all the sites were taken. A lot of the pull-thru's do not have enough room for a toad. The back-ins do not have room for a tow vehicle. I can't imagine where people park if the campground is full. It seems as if every available space is taken up by a campsite. There are few places to walk a dog and avoid campsites. We were there in September and it was very nice because there were just a few campers. We also picked this campground because it advertised free wifi. Upon checking in I was told that they don't have wifi available, except just outside of the office (there is no room in the office to sit with a laptop). I had to use my car as an office because of the low temperature and sit in front of the office to receive a signal. I would only stay here again if it were the off season and did not care about wifi. There are 2 campgrounds right next to each other off I-90, Mountainview was the first, so we pulled in mainly because we saw they had WiFi. The couple who run the place were very friendly and helpful, with smiles on their faces. We were directed to a site adjacent to the restrooms and showers, which were immaculate -- 3 showers with privacy doors, sparkling clean. The WiFi is the strongest signal we had on our nearly 4,000 mile trek through the western US. The laundry room is in a cute little cabin with a front porch and nice patio furniture. A great place to sit and read while doing the laundry. They have an ad in one of the many travel mags you can find on the Black Hills with a 10% coupon. With our coupon and no cable TV, we paid $21. Would definitely stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very well maintained campground. Helpful staff at check in. Road and pad are paved, level pull throughs, and big rig friendly. Very quiet. There is space around the RV and lots of trees that are still to small to give any shade. The views from the RV are very pretty. Bathrooms are spotless and the laundry is clean and well equipped. There is a large fenced dog run with pick up bags. Wi-Fi and cell are good. Plenty of great local places to eat and food stores not too far away. This is our second stay at this park and we really love it. It is a high end RV park with concrete pads and patios. Everything else described in a positive manner is there. Want to address some of the negative posts. Little trees, no shade - relatively new park built on a prairie, they planted trees - it takes a few years for trees to grow. No campfires at sites, most RV'ers do not want campfire smoke filtering through their sites, bad to breath, you want a campfire go to a state campground. Price to high - This is a high end RV park with lots of amenities, you are going to pay more, want a $28 site then go to a small, old, no amenities park . Elkhorn ridge was one of the best campgrounds we've been to! We went here for a family reunion and the event center is very nice. The pool is one of the warmest outdoor pools we've been to! However, There are NOT any fire rings at the campsites which is a bummer. We were close to all the amenities! They also had a cool gift shop and a cafe' that serves breakfast, lunch, and snacks like slushies and free coffee. Plus, we had family who stayed in a cabin which had a loft, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living room. Overall, we had a fun time and we will definitely be back! We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

Plenty of cable channels and lots of space between sites. All utilities were good. The only negative is very few site pads were level. All seemed to slope to the front, a lot of rigs had their wheels off the ground. Knowing this you can prepare to make your adjustments. This large park/golf course is a normal stop for us as we travel into the Black Hills. The park hasn't changed since our first visit (2003). The staff is great, the park is super clean, and the store is better than most markets. The sites are cement and quite wide. My only negative on the sites is the fact that all the pads slant. If you have a large motorhome, the level position is probably going to be with the tire/s off the ground with a leveling system. I can't figure out why they cut corners like this.. Price reflects Good Sam discount. This was an overnight stop for us and was 2 weeks after Sturgis Bikers rally. Lots of bikers in the park, some partied way into the morning hours, otherwise place was quiet and we did not notice any road noise, we were in site #304. Roads were asphalt, site was concrete and level, but just wide enough for motorhome, we were able to pull through and leave our toad hooked up. We're probably about 65' or so and had plenty of room. Pools and spas are top notch, store is well stocked and includes a liquor store also, prices were fair. We had no problem with water, cable TV, Wi-Fi, or 50amp electricity. No shade here as trees are still growing. We would stay here again, although it's a little pricey. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very new and well thought out RV park. Everything is top notch and the pull throughs are long and roomy. Very nice pool and sport court. WiFi worked well. We really wanted to give this a 10, but we discovered that sites do not have individual campfire rings. Instead they are spread randomly throughout the park. I'm torn on how to rate this CG. We were out of season, and found the 'store' to be primarily full of liquor choices. The snack bar was closed. To be handed a small 'goody' bag of travel items at check in was a surprise: a very nice touch. The washrooms were exceptionally clean: however only one shower stall didn't have peeling paint on the floor and none of the stalls had a lip, which combined with a short shower curtain made the floor outside the shower damp. We quite liked the privacy of a large bathroom (toilet, sink, shower stall) but there were only six stalls for an area that could easily hold 100 plus RV's. Only a few sites were open (it was a tough winter up here and most were still winterized) and one of the light poles near the bathhouse was broken and down on the ground. There are two good sized dog runs: one for larger dogs, one for smaller. Absolutely terrific, with pick-up bags right on the fences, but the runs also had a lot of rabbit or gopher holes and I kept hoping neither of our dogs would break a leg running around the enclosure. The laundry was super clean, but only two washers and two dryers. The washers were exceptionally small: the type I had in apartments in Europe. We weren't bothered by any traffic noise, but in early May there just wasn't any traffic either!! The grounds are nice, with statuary placed here and there. We would definitely stay here again out of season but would definitely avoid it in season, due to what is undoubtedly a shortage of showers available when the Park has more than a handful of RV's. We are in a RoadTrek 210P, so showers are important to us (we have one, but it is very small and has to be rigged up). Just a strange CG, for every plus there is an offset somewhere else. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were really looking forward to our visit and found we were disappointed. In a word we found the place to be "sterile." To me it had little to offer other than paved sites, a pool but it was too cold to use. The road noise from 85 was very noticeable and we were in the back of the park. The laundry had 2 washers and 2 dryers and they had 2 facilities for laundry. There were trees growing but no shade at all. Another post stated they thought it was overpriced and I agree. There were only 15-25 spaces occupied and we were here over a holiday. They were still on their summer rates as well. This is a very classy upscale park. We were provided a large pull through site for our 39 foot rig. It had a concrete pad and patio with full hook-ups. This our first time here in 3 years. Again, while I understand the superlatives others use to describe this park, others have pointed out some negatives. Many comment on the price, some on the sites being unlevel, etc. During this 2 day stay, I noticed the "grass" between sites being more weeds and dirt than grass. I still think that the original idea was to become, at least partially, an ownership park but the first few years didn't meet occupancy expections due to gas prices and and their rates. Today, their rate is too much for families on vacation and too much for Joe Average looking for a base park to visit the Black Hills. Any park in a tourist area like the Black Hills filling less than half their sites in mid-July is doing something wrong. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects Good Sam discount. This park is very nice, but I feel it's over-priced by about $10 per night. It has nice paved sites, roads and approaches with three sewer connections on each site. The check-in desk with the restaurant and liquor store are better than many. On the downside, the grass is spotty and hard to walk on. The shower floors could need some attention paid to the peeling paint. Children, teens and adults were allowed to ride 4 wheeled ATVs at much more than the 10 MPH speed limit for the park and disturb other visitors. Seemed strange that no one under 10 years old was allowed in the pool, bath house or hot-tub, without an adult. However, the same kids could run up and down the streets and off-road on the landscaped berms between the campground and the highway, without helmets on ATVs. Would we stay there again? Probably not. This is an impressive campground and is definitely resort quality. Easy in/out and the hookups are very well located with multiple options for sewer connections. Has an extensive cable TV lineup and is satellite friendly. Has large sites with very well maintained grounds. The office staff was friendly. However for an overnight stay, it is a bit pricey in my opinion. Unfortunately there are few cheaper alternatives that can accommodate a large rig. We would stay here again. Good Sam rate. This RV park is one of the best we have ever stayed in. It was planned with the RV'er in mind: pool, two hot tubs, small children's pool. There is a dog pen for large dogs and one for small dogs. You can let your dog run and the fire hydrants in the pens were a cute accessory. The showers, laundry and bath were immaculate. Northern Black Hills surround the park. Huge store here with packaged liquor and beer. It's located 5 miles from Deadwood. There is a north section and a south section. They put families with children in the north and retirees in the south. The Wi-Fi did not work well for us (that was the only downside). We definitely would make plans to stay here (more then one day) the next time we are through this area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You must try this place. Great campground which should set the bench mark for all campgrounds! Level, spacious sites and a lovely open feel in a gorgeous location. If you like shade trees, then this is not place for you as there are none. We don't like trees anyway! The restrooms and showers are all immaculate and brand new. The Wi-Fi was excellent. The nicest resort we've been to in a long while! Very new and great location on 85 seconds from I-90 near Spearfish. Roads are wide and paved and sites are concrete although they should be wider because we step onto grass. Plenty of very big rig pull-thru sites - our bus with car trailer and SUV still have room. All sorts of amenities - pool, tennis, basketball, dog run and good shopping. Wi-Fi works sometimes just like every other resort. Verizon air card works. AT&T service is spotty. This is a great campground. We spent a week here while exploring the Black Hills. One of the nicest campgrounds we have been to on our year long travels. All roads are paved, sites are big concrete pads with nice picnic tables, and the amenities are above expectations. They have a nice big pool with two hot tubs, basketball and tennis courts, an awesome playground and you are 10 minutes to Deadwood, 30 minutes to Rapid City, and about 1 hour from Mount Rushmore. The staff treat you with respect and go out of there way to ensure you are satisfied. I would definitely recommend this place to any family or individuals looking for an up-scale campground at a reasonable cost. We would definitely stay hear again without a question. Where do I start? We were strung out from the road and stayed only one night out of desperation. Campsite we were put in was gushing water & tripping my circuit breakers. Moved us to another site after we were all set up. Well, I filled out a comment sheet listing all the problems we had over the years. Don't ever do that! The manager called my home phone, was rude, disrespectful, called me a liar and hung up on me! This is a glorified parking lot that is way too expensive. Grass is always calf high. Not well maintained, rude staff & way overpriced. Will never, ever stay here again. I will camp at Wal-Marts if necessary. This is a beautiful park set in the Black Hills. Other parks should take a lesson from this one! It is close to I-90 and all the area attractions. The park has long pull throughs. The WI-FI works great. It is very clean, the people in the office were very helpful, satellite is no problem. The surrounding scenery is wonderful, a different view out each window. This is a wonderful resort located a little south of I-90. The layout is more RV park than campground, but to call it a “glorified parking lot” and give it a 5 as a previous reviewer did is totally unfair. We also found the staff to be friendly and competent; yes, some were young, but no one was impersonal. The whole park was nicely landscaped, but the trees were still too small to provide shade. The roads were paved and easy to navigate. Sites were paved, long, wide, level, and mostly pull through. Patios were placed at different locations on the sites so that they will match the placement of almost any RV door. Just be aware of this at check in so that you are assigned a site that matches your door. Each site had a table, and there were community fire pits near the office. Utility pedestals were lighted. The area between sites was large and contained grass. The individual restrooms/showers were clean. There were lots of cable TV channels, and the free Wi-Fi was strong. The pool was very pretty. There were tennis and basketball courts and areas for volleyball and horseshoes. There was also a very nice playground. The off season rates were far better than we expected. We have paid much more for resorts of this caliber. If we lived closer we would be here frequently. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Excellent RV Park! We camped here in a 40ft motorhome towing a full size SUV. Didn't unhook going to site with plenty of room left over with toad on site pad. Interior roads are paved with concrete landing and patio pads. Location is handy to interstate and local attractions. Landscaping and sculptures are exceptional. Park has pet exercise area, basketball, tennis, horseshoes and volley ball courts. Many on-site cabins. Satellite should be available on most sites. This is what RV parks should be modeled after. We stayed at this park for a week (9/9 - 9/16), after originally planning to stay in the (less expensive) Spearfish City Campground. The other reviews on this park are spot on. Due to the late season, there was only one other motorhome and us staying here for the full week, most other rigs overnighted, or stayed 1-2 days before moving on. The park is great, although the lack of shade may be an issue during the hot months; in the fall, winds may be an issue due to the parks exposed location and lack of trees. Park staff is helpful with nice amenities, and very clean facilities. We will definitely stay here again if we're back in the black hills area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an outstanding RV park. We are full-timers and have stayed in parks across the country and this is one of the best. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what the previous reviewer was complaining about. Park is conveniently located to I-90 but far enough away so that road noise is not a problem. Sites are very spacious and well spaced so that you do not feel cramped. This park can accommodate big rigs, even those towing car-hauler trailers. Utilities are conveniently located, in good condition and fully functional. If you cannot find this park by following the signage from I-90, you must be driving with a bag over your head. You can't miss it. Park has immaculate showers and lavatories, a large swimming pool and two hot tubs, two tennis courts and a basketball court. Pay heed to the following: the various rows in the parks have the concrete pads with picnic tables placed in different locations for various types of RVs. Check the pad location before selecting a site to find the row which is suitable for your RV. The park is located near Deadwood and is a good home base for touring all the Black Hills attractions. I can only think of a few parks in the country which are as well designed as this one and as well maintained. We highly recommend this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

While I understand the superlatives of several reviewers, I have to agree with the reviewer who had problems with the sites and hookups. My major complaint, and I did mention it to the staff, was the right to left slant on, seemingly, every site. If you do not have and expensive rig with push button levelers, you will need to raise your entire left side 3-4 inches to offset this design flaw. I do not carry enough boards for that kind of lift. When you first enter this park, you are amazed: The sites are all paved, are very long and wide and ingress and egress for big rigs is great. People in the office and on the staff are friendly, and it is obvious that planning by someone experienced with RVs has been done. Then, you realize that, despite the first impression and the planning, someone has screwed up royally. Firstly, there is no visible sign from Highway 85 and many folks drive right by and turnaround. Secondly, when you walk the park you cannot believe how many sites are very, very un-level, almost to the point of giving you vertigo. Thirdly, each power post has two tv jacks--one high and difficult to get to, and one low and easy to get to. It is not until you plug your TV cable into the easy one and get inside your coach that you realize that the campground handout sheets tell you not to use the high one, but the lower one (why not put signs on the power posts?) Not too long after you are here you realize that the water faucet set up (designed to minimize freezing), is a total disaster and, we understand, parts in all of the pipes have already been replaced once. The wi-fi here is a disappointment--very weak signal and we are in the center of the park. Of course, signs on the power posts can easily be placed, the poorly designed water faucets can be replaced, and the wi-fi and be beefed up. They cannot very well tear up the paved, highly-un-level sites. While we were here (just before bike week in Sturgis), every other campground in the area was full--this one was at least half empty. If they don't fix some things here, it will not make it. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground just opened in the Spring of 2006 and the operators must have actually asked RVers for input. Prospective builders of new RV parks should study Elkhorn Ridge to see the way things should be done. ALL the access roads and pads are paved. Each site is surrounded by neatly trimmed grass. There are three sewer drains on each pull-through site to accommodate a wide variety of RVs. One to three-bedroom cabins are also available in the campground. Tennis courts, a heated outdoor pool, and other recreation facilities are coming, but this campground isn't designed to be activity intense like many large KOAs. No old growth trees, but new plantings are in place throughout the campground. We noted a significant number of high-end rigs and even 45 footers had plenty of room along with their towed vehicles. Nice access to I-90, but very quiet at night. Close to Deadwood and Lead, about one hour from Devil's Tower in WY, and about 75 minutes away from Mt. Rushmore. Good base for extended stay in area. Operators seem very interested in campers feedback. We paid $40 with Good Sam discount. We stayed 10 nights. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A new, opened in April 2006, premier park. Just off I-90 at exit 17. Concrete slabs, lots of elbow room. I was one of only 10 coaches in the park on this date. I will return. Park is well designed and very modern. Lots of 'new' landscaping which has not matured yet. Lots of trees which will eventually provide shade. Nice clubhouse, office with big store. Near Deadwood and Mount Rushmore in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Good wifi. I'm using it to provide this review. Check-out is 'hotel' style. You get a receipt when you depart. Credit card is not billed until the day after you check-in. Strange for an RV Park. Has some cabins. Tennis courts, and heated swimming pool which I did not use. We camped here in a Motorhome.

What a great park. As some reviewers have said, the sites are close together. However, we stayed on a Tuesday in late August, nobody on either side of us, two neighbors near us in the back. Park is beautiful, lots of trees and a stream and recreation trail in the park. Showers were spotless. There is a nice fish hatchery to tour right at the park entrance and city park is just a short walk further the main entrance with nice toys for kids to play on at the park. This is the second time we've camped here, and both times we've dry-camped. There were a lot of nice sites for primitive camping, and we chose one with a lot of shade and stream side, since the temps were in the 100s. We love the location of this campground - it's walking distance from the fish hatchery, Spearfish creek and city park, and there's lots of bike trails nearby, to downtown or Spearfish Canyon. Yes, there is quite a bit of traffic throughout the night and day, especially on the weekends. Restrooms and showers are well- maintained and clean. We loved this park, everything we need. Large city park with green grass, plenty of shade, a beautiful clear creek running through it, a bike/walking trail, the Historic Booth Fish Hatchery within walking distance, a nice town, with good shopping and restaurants. Our dogs loved it, so many places to walk. We were able to find a site that our satellite found a signal and had a little shade at the same time. Paved interior roads, all sites gravel and level. The weekends during the summer are very busy, and some of the sites can be close together, we stayed during the week and it really clears out, we didn't feel crowded at all. Some sites our bigger than others, so just be careful of the one you pick out. Close enough to drive into Deadwood and Lead. We really enjoyed it here. We will stay here again. We were disappointed in this park because of the small size of sites and the high volume of traffic driving through the park. They let people come in at all hours and we had two new neighbors come in after 11:00 and both left by 7:00 am. That is called free camping...or stealing. Sites were narrow and most had a neighbor backing up to within 7-8 feet of your RV rear. Don't get in the area next to the bike path as it is crowded with locals day and night. We were assigned site #11 with full hook-up. Looking at the online map of the campground, you can not tell how close the sites actually are to each other. We arrived when several sites around us were empty but by looking at the gravel pads we were a little concerned with how close they seemed to each other. We felt lucky in that our site was right by the creek and angled so we had a nice little grassy area with our picnic table and the kids could play in the creek. The place filled up by the weekend and it was close quarters. One person behind us backed up his 5th wheel so far that he was over the fire pit of the neighbor site behind him. Their camper was less than a foot from another camper. Given all that, the place is still great. In part I'm sure it's because of our location on the creek (and the city bike trail was directly in front of us, but was more entertainment and not a nuisance). The closeness is something to be aware of, though. There are sites that seemed much more spacious but overall the place had a cramped feel in the trailer area. The tent/non-hookup area was spacious and open. The bathroom/shower buildings were clean and showers worked well. The park itself has so much to offer, we were delighted with the whole experience. The firewood we bought from the office was delivered to our site. However it was wet and seemed to be cut pieces of old fence posts which we couldn't decided if was treated wood or not. Oddly (at least to us) the nice family that arrived on our last night and camped behind us used our campsite as public space they could walk through at anytime without a word. In reality we don't mind, but would prefer that they had simply asked or said excuse me first, and it wouldn't have seemed so odd. Not sure if this was just them or the campground in general. We made our reservation the first day it opened and I could tell people had already been busy before my call. My guess is that if you want a good site you need to call early - especially if it includes a weekend! We would definitely stay here again and would even pick our same site. Certainly one of the best city parks you'll find; grass, shade, well-managed by professional camp hosts, and to top it off, a stocked trout stream in your back yard. Adjacent to a paved walking/biking trail, the park is a short distance from playgrounds, an amphitheater where music is played during the summer, and across the street from the National Historic Fish Hatchery which is free and great fun. Sites are gravel and level, hookups are good, and there's ample shade. Located in the canyon, there's little wind. Convenient to shopping and the scenic Spearfish Canyon drive. We'll stay here again. The sites are a bit close to each other, when our neighbors get their big trucks parked we have a problem with a parking place for our car. The office folks are friendly and helpful, even came to our site after we were parked to see it all was OK. We will diffidently be coming back here in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice campground. I did not give it a 10 for a couple of reasons. There was no laundry, you had to go 3 blocks to a dry cleaner and laundry on the same street. The bathrooms and showers were clean but a little old and there were no soap dispensers. Lastly the Wi-Fi was poor. Now for the up side. This place is absolutely beautiful. This is more of a city park than a RV park. There are bike and walking paths. Excepting the roads and sites it is all grass and absolutely lovely. All the RV and tent sites are shaded by mature trees, and the Spearfish creek runs through the park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We've been camping across five states so far on this trip, and the Spearfish City Campground has been our favorite. The grounds are gorgeous, it's tucked away from the city so it's really quiet and has a nice little river that runs through it. There are also city playgrounds for the kids and a nice paved pathway for bikers/runners that's just being completed. We also drove by the KOA in town, as we usually camp at their grounds, but it was right by the interstate and SUPER noisy. Plus, the place wasn't nearly as nice as any of the other KOAs we'd stayed at, and spots were super tight. I'm glad we went with Spearfish instead. The cable TV came through crystal clear, but Internet was non-existent, which was our only one big issue with this campground, as it promotes itself as having Wi-Fi. The girl in the office just told us to bring our computer to the front of the grounds and use it on a bench if we needed to connect, but who wants to do that?? If it weren't for the Internet (and the fact that the women's bathroom had clumps of hair stuck to all the sinks, eww), I would give this site a 10. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The WiFi did not work for us. It is a nice clean campground and has easy access to Spearfish Canyon, a don't miss drive to and hiking place. Nearby is a fish hatchery with some monster trout, but most of it closes down after Labor Day. Our GPS directions were not real good to arrive here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Can you believe it? $20 a night for camping in a city park? Lots of grass, next to a trout stream and a historic old fish hatchery. The seasonal workers for the park are all in one row off to the side and very friendly. Lots of grass for your pet (clean up after it) and lots of paved bike paths/walkways. Very quiet at night. This place deserves several nights of staying to fully enjoy, sorry we couldn't. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

What a gem of a place to stay! The people at the office couldn't have been nicer and more helpful, the spaces weren't too close together, had a firepit for a campfire, and our satellite and antenna worked great. We had no problem with the WiFi, although some of the people further away from the office did. This park is right next door to the nicest city parks I have ever seen. There is a fish hatchery that is incredible right next door as well. There is a stream/creek running along the edge of the property where tent campers can set up and there is a large stream running along the other side for larger RV's to back up to. This is one of the cleanest and nicest little towns and we just couldn't get over how beautifully maintained everything was. We look forward to staying here again in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.

One of the nicest campgrounds we've stayed in. Grassy and park-like with level gravel sites and paved roads. Hookups are at the back so can be a stretch for the sewer on motorhomes. Lots of mature trees so satellite access can be tricky. There's a stream running around the campground and it is in walking distance to the main park with great playground, historic fish hatchery, and the river with wading and tubing. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is partially surrounded by Trailer parks, It has a nice view from the east end, Horses open fields, and a mountain, but the highway cuts through and is a little noisy. Some spots do not have fire pits and the roads are muddy when it rains. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice, city park with great campground hosts. The park is in excellent condition and well maintained. The electric, water, cable TV and sewer facilities look like they were recently replaced or upgraded. Interior roads are paved, and the sites are gravel and mostly level. There are plenty of large shade trees. The sites are a little closer together than we are used to in municipal/state parks. They could change this very good park into a great park by eliminating about half the sites. There are miles of paved bike trails connecting the campground with downtown Spearfish and surrounding areas. Of all the campgrounds we have stayed, this is one of the best. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a city owned park, very nice and very pretty. Only draw back is that the sites are all back ins and some are difficult. Sites are level with tables and fire rings. Staff is very friendly, however do not escort you to your sites. We used this park as our base camp while we toured the Black hills and Mt. Rushmore. Would stay here again. Super city campground. Wish there were more like this, with cable tv , bike path, etc. Convenient yet quiet location; we rode bikes to the library and downtown every day. Bathrooms were clean but showers very popular and needed to be cleaned more than once a day...actually, they need more shower stalls. Campground was full every day- summer reservations a must. Sites get a bit tight, but there's grass around them, and so much to do elsewhere. Hookups are in the back, tough to do sewer so go to the dump station. Many families, some rowdy kids not considerate of RVers. September is a better time to be here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The nicest campground I have ever visited. Some of the sites are a little close together but everything else is the best. There is a brand new bathhouse that was always spotless. The creek flows through the campground. The historic fish hatchery is right next door. The scenery around Spearfish is beautiful. We were very disappointed in the area surrounding Mt. Rushmore. It is very commercialized. We are very thankful we decided to stay in Spearfish after driving to Mt. Rushmore. We will return! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

So far, this is one of the best campground we've stayed in. Beautiful setting with stream running through the campground. Exceptionally clean. There is a paved bike path on the back side of the park. The campground is large so we never feel crowded even during the Sturgis week. The campground is right next to the city public park, which I think is a plus. Is like a two for one deal. You pay for one campground and get to enjoy the park next door as well. If you're camping here, bring the bikes. The only thing that I don't like is some sites are like a Y shape. You have to share the entrance with your neighbor and sites are a little close to each other. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed two nights while visiting friends. They recommended this campground and we agree with them. Sites are back in,level concrete and driveways are asphalt. Some trees close to the road that you need to keep an eye on when traveling to your site. Bathrooms/showers clean. There was WiFi, but it worked best (for us) when we were next to the office. Campground is close to everything you might need. The only negative is it is next to the city park. The local "teen agers" like to park at the entrance to the campground and do their "drinking and smoking". They did stay out of the campground and did not cause us any problems. We will camp here again, when in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We chose this park to stay in during our 2007 Black Hills fall vacation, to some extent based upon the reviews on this site. This park is beautifully located in Spearfish, with lots of shade trees and nice concrete walks along Spearfish Creek. The sites seemed cramped, with campers 'butting up' to each other without a lot of space between sites. The electric, water, and sewer hookups are located at the end of the site, requiring long sewer and electric hoses. The "killer" for us was the fact that the roads are narrow with very close shade trees, which were not trimmed very well. The site assigned to us had trees framing the entrance, and maneuvering the coach into the spot was a challenge. The trees also were so low as to hit the roof of the coach. The staff was very nice, and tried to find us a spot that was less crowded and less treed, but all the more open ones were already taken. It appeared that there were some paved spots right next to the creek, which would have worked well for us, but they also were not available (even though one of them was empty) - we ASSUME these are "long timer" spots, judging by the 'gardens' etc around the rigs parked there. While this is a very nice park, with very nice and helpful staff, the number of "big rig friendly" spots is very limited. In the end, we received a full refund and stayed at Elkhorn Ridge instead. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I agree this is a great place, especially for a city campground. Wonderful, huge shade trees and grass throughout the park, plus a bike path to Spearfish Canyon or into town, and with a City Park with playground and fish hatchery. I came here based on this website reviews' and wasn't disappointed. Only negatives are the sewer and hookups are all way back and hard to reach. And the showers were in a separate building from the bathrooms, and not always clean. My site was close enough to the office that the free WiFi worked. This park is nicer than a lot of private places, and the rate is fair ($26 plus tax). Cable TV is outstanding. Decent space between sites, and all are level gravel,with a picnic table. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a special find for travellers passing through or on the way to Spearfish Canyon. A very attractive campground in a quiet setting with a small river/stream running through it. Clean, well kept and attractive. The only drawback are that some of the sites are rather hard to back in to for larger rigs. However, every site we saw was almost perfectly level. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

A really great park. The wifi is only available near the office but they provide a picnic table or you can park your car there and use it. The sites have the utilities at the back of the site so you might need long hoses and a long sewer hose. Some sites are rather short if you have a long rig and a toad. It's a great place to camp while you see all of the Black Hills. Sanford's Grub and Pub is very close to the park and has great food and nightly drink specials. The park host told us that they are considering adding wifi repeaters throughout the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground is the best kept secret in the northern Black Hills. We stayed for a week. There were deer roaming through the campground every morning and evening. It is very clean and well maintained. This is the best campground in the northern hills, bar none. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was by far the best campground we've stayed at in our travels through Montana, Wyoming and into South Dakota. Nicely paved interior roads, gravel sites and nice lawns(manual sprinklers Not automatic ones trying to make your motorhome grow)The staff was polite and helpful and the area was great. Just make sure to avoid Sturgis rally time(first two weeks of August) unless of course you love the motorcycles. What a breath of fresh air, A city campground that knows how to do it right! Here is one of those almost perfect campgrounds, but the bar is set high if it is a KOA along with the high fees. In the case of Spearfish KOA this is a fine example of where expectations, fees, facilities, and services are all in-line and acceptable. Unbelievably friendly owners/managers. All aspects of the Spearfish KOA are impeccable other than the fees perhaps being high or not in the budget for some if not many campers (one reason, but certainly not the main reason, a large family such as ours camps is to be more economic when traveling and vacationing). The stout KOA fee structure is the only negative especially when we start getting whacked with the extra person fees on top of the nightly fees. Most definitely the place to camp if en route along the I-90 corridor through South Dakota to other locals for example in Wyoming or Montana,but would also be a perfect place to camp if you were staying in the Black Hills for a weekend or week to see all the incredibly beautiful sites of the Black Hills, SD. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A beautiful, peaceful park. Foolishly expensive tho. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Very nice long pull thru site plenty big enough for our 38' motorhome and 30' cargo trailer to stay connected and still have room to park our car in our site. There is a heated pool here but we didn't use it. Also, there is a community camp fire pit rather than fire pits at sites which we prefer, but this may be a city ordinance, but perhaps because the sites are a bit close it would be too dangerous. We would probably stay here again but would try other campgrounds in the area because this is typical KOA very over priced. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed this campground. The staff was extremely helpful and happy. We had a minor problem with our hitch and they were quick to provide a couple of tools I needed to repair. The services all worked great. Our original assigned site was full sun, but the staffer suggested an alternate shaded site, checked its availability, and moved us right over. Pull-through sites, pretty level, no shade. Bathrooms weren't the cleanest I've seen. Wi-fi didn't work and the staff didn't seem to care that it didn't work. I only saw kids working in the office - none of them could have been over 18. They weren't very professional. The pool looked clean. Ribs were great at $9.99 half rack. Buffalo burgers tasted like costco sirloin frozen patties and tasted very ordinary. For two tablespoons of cold beans, three pieces of lettuce, a slice of tomato and a slice of pickle with the buffalo pattie and bun you pay $7.50! Go with the ribs. All you can eat ice cream between 7-8pm was good value. Pool is very simple and small and drops from 3-5 feet VERY quickly. My son slipped under the rope when others were playing with it. Fortunately my other son saved him! Merit badge for son number ! Great store even though it was 50% memory maker stamp album stuff. Obviously a side business. Great selection of international beers and close proximity to a small river for fishing makes this place a good stop for Deadwood, Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Kids park is very good and the cleanliness was the big factor. Not as amazing as Mt. Rushmore KOA which is high and offers everything but well placed next to the I-90 and within 10 minutes of Deadwood, an hour to Rushmore and 40 minutes to Crazy Horse. Mt. Rushmore $8.00... Crazy Horse $25. That was a big thing. Crazy Horse was like flea market with everyone trying to sell you something and the face in the mountain six times as far away as the faces on Rushmore. Rushmore was excellent. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice park. The front office staff was very nice, although if watching a television program you were second. The sites all have grass, however due to the heat are very dry. The laundry room, bathroom and pool were clean and inviting. We were there during a very hot time and the power did go off several times, the workers kept blaming it on the town power company but however it turn out to be their power problem, but would not own up to it. The maintenance man was not real helpful during this time and didn’t seem to know a lot, except for how to be condescending. The restaurant up front was not real good and had a ton of flies. The Mexican restaurant ½ block away was very good. All and all we would stay there again We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed in our motorcycle trailer/converted camper. The property, while clean, is very flat, unimaginative, treeless, and boring. The owners were very nice and even had sugar free ice cream for us! Their scrapbook store was interesting, but it seemed a waste of space to me for no one was in there the entire four days we were there. We would stay here on an overnight basis, but for extended stays there are more interesting CGs for the price. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

One of the best KOA's we've stayed at. Spacious sites, easy access off Interstate, lots of grass. friendly staff, clean restrooms. Onsite (mexican) restaurant for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Also a Mexican restaurant next door if you want a Margarita We camped here in a camper.
