RV Park is set back away from traffic, very very quiet, sites are spacious, cable with zillion channels, long termers are nice, water front sites are for overnites in summer, but river view still there for other sites inside rows. Staff are excellent, Joy in particular!! Pool is nice, marinas on the river, with boat rentals and cabin rentals. I had a problem with a work contract there in Chatanooga and the manager was gracious enough to give me a refund, they didn't have to do that, but they did. Sure the geese are around but all you have to do is hose down your site, they stay on the river and come ashore to walk around. Some of the sites don't yet have the new cable connections in but the staff are in the process of completing this. All in all its a great place with mountains on each side of the marina, so cell coverage is scanty, but I had no problem with their WIFI and I was pretty far back, its an issue they try to work on constantly. I definitely will try to come back just to relax!! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This place wasn't the best kept campground. And there weren't really any amenities other than fishing, that would bring us back to this campground any time soon. There were quite a few permanent residents. We had a cable cord that stretched across multiple sites, including ours, that we kept tripping over and knocking out, that the permanent resident were getting annoyed about. We came here for the weekend to specifically go fishing at the lake and rent a pontoon at the Marina. There were no signs directly off the main road to make directions getting there convenient, so be prepared to turn around a few times before getting into the marina. The GPS couldn't really find it's accurate position on the map. The other posting was also accurate in that there were some people letting their dogs run free or off their leash. Wi-Fi was very poor, if it did work at all. The Wireless Access point was coming from the campground office, that was pretty far away from the lots. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This place is a pigsty. Goose and dog waste all over the place. Apparently, the full timers just let their dogs run loose, and you have to watch where you step when on the grass. Must sign in at the boat dock, not the campground. No signs telling you so. We had reservations that were lost. Wi-Fi went down in the afternoon. Cable was OK. If you like to camp in a place smelling of sewage, this is the place. Would never come here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We enjoyed a relaxing stay here for a couple of days. Backed up to the Tennessee River with a little boat traffic to watch. Really good staff that was very friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer, we'll return some day. We camped here in a Motorhome.
There appear to be several permanent residents here. Cable TV cables run across the road in several places. Entrance to office is poorly marked. We stayed here because several parks in Chattanooga practice breed discrimination. We won't stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Seems to be a relatively new park that is working hard to get it right. Concrete pads, we were level when we backed in. Had a spot that backed up to the lake which allowed us to fish from our yard. Each spot had fire rings so you could sit by the fire at night looking out over the water. It was located about a mile from the Interstate so very quiet and peaceful. Biggest drawback for me was no internet as I tend to work 7 days a week to take care of customers but other than that we really liked this place and plan on another trip there in the fall. Shade is limited but they have planted a lot of trees and in a few years will be really nice. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
