Nothing special for the high price, but I do understand it's a major tourist area. I liked the cheap shuttle that went to the Oprey or downtown. Office staff very nice. Grounds kind of sloppy around the RV. Had a lot of rain at night which made a horrible muddy mess all around the RV. If I ever went back to Nashville, I would try a different campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a pretty nice park, due to the close proximity to Nashville attractions. People were friendly, I was allowed to pick our site, we chose the last row back in sites because they were larger, but also cheaper. I saw the large patio sites, very pretty. You would have to book early because there are only 6 of those. Wifi was ok, cable good. The clubhouse was huge very nice. Landscaping in back of park was not as nice as front grass had not been cut. We stayed 3 nights. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Typical KOA - overpriced and close. We were there for the night life so basically just parked and slept. Close to town and attractions. Utilities good, tree covered, no satellite. Cable was good. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a typical big fairly well maintained KOA. The KOA employees are very friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers were fine. I think they could have used a bit more gravel in places but they had a lot of rain to contend with. The sites were easy to get in and out of. They pick up your garbage each day. It was fine for dogs. I have only given it a 7 because the site itself just did not have a cozy and nice feel to it. It was a little narrow, a little old ( gravel and picnic table) and just did not feel so much like you were camping as you were parking. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is truly one of the nicest KOA parks we've stayed in. The premium patio sites are long enough for big rigs and tow vehicle. Internet worked well and they are still doing improvements from the flood. Interior roads are a bit bumpy but they ARE paved. Of the three parks on music valley drive we always choose the KOA because the others have a tendency to flood in the rain and do not have concrete pads. Good laundry facility, nicely stocked store and very friendly folks working there. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 2 nights and found it convenient to touring around Nashville. Unlike others we found the staff helpful and friendly. Sites were close like most KOAs but was adequate for our needs. Wi-Fi and cable TV were both good. Also saw a lot of maintenance being done to grounds while we were here. Rate reflects KOA discount. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Large park with some lingering interior road damage from 2010 flood in older sections. New patio sites are big rig friendly but pricey. Lots of room to walk your dog and a leash-free enclosed dog area is a nice touch. Close to Nashville and the Opry. Bus and van shuttles to downtown and various tours are available daily, so you can relax and leave the driving to someone else. We've stayed here twice in the last year in a 45' Quad-Slide coach while towing - 65' overall. Pull-throughs in new section were long enough and comfortable in & out. Showers and restrooms are new since flood and very clean. Will always stay here while in Nashville because of the location and amenities. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I agree with the previous comments this park looks good at the entrance, but terrible sites messy yards, the roads are patchy. The gentleman that brought us to our site just drove to the site and waved and left, no help getting straight on our site. We paid $60 which I thought is expensive for what you are getting. I did notice that the Kamping Lodges are really nicely done.The Wi-Fi was a nightmare to try to get on and it is only for 1 day, so I will probably have to go through that nightmare again. We usually stay at Two Rivers down the road, its cheaper and much nicer, but they did not answer the phone when we tried to call a number of times. I did notice a sign at JellyStone for $30 fall special. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Well located park for Nashville attractions. Grand Old Opry is no more than 10 minutes away. Downtown is 15 minutes away. (Ask for best directions at the office.) That said, the park is just so-so. Paved sites are rough with many patches and mud on some sites. Grass between sites is scraggly with holes or depressions that can cause you to stumble. Park looks good as you drive in and around the pool and kiddie areas, but deteriorates in the camping area. Did not use bathrooms so can't comment on them. Voltage dropped to 108 in 98 degree weather with the park half full. Water pressure, sewer, and cable TV good. Staff in office helpful. If coming in hot weather request a shady site. We chose a site well away from the highway and had minimal noise. Note there are some 85' long pull thrus practically adjacent to the 6 lane highway and would be loud. Music hall ran 3 nights during our stay but we heard no noise. Verizon cell and air card worked well. Our $60 site was just long enough for our 40' rig and car at 65'. Price is high for what you get, but they get it because of closeness to attractions. Very few kids during our mid-week stay after school started. We would return to this park, but those with kids might also want to investigate the Yogi Bear nearby. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The previous reviews are correct in that the front entrance of the park looks like a true RV resort. The staff is friendly and the pool is lovely. However, unless you rent one of the "patio" sites at $69 a night or one of the extra long sites at $64 a night, the sites are terrible. The streets, although paved, have huge holes in them and many of the sites are not level. They also are crammed together. The location is fabulous. It's a shame, however, that a park wanting to maintain a KOA reputation for a resort park, does not upgrade its streets and sites. The only sites that have been upgraded are the extraordinarily expensive sites--and there only are about eight of those. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Had to get premium site because of low availability. Would have been happy with a regular site. But all in all, worth the money. Very nice staff, super nice office, store, game room and laundry. My husband and I hadn't played ping pong in years: we really enjoyed it and the free jukebox. Had pool tables, TV area, arcade, card tables plus lots of games for kids to do outside. We could really picture bringing our grandkids and never leaving the campground. Had a 50's/60's band that played on Wednesday nights that we really enjoyed. Close to a lot of attractions including the Opry. Would love to come again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Yes, it's fairly over-rated and pricy, but in general, it's a nice park. The check in is great with a nice parking area. Some of the sites are VERY narrow and the sewer is waaaaaay at the rear of the sites which hampered our attempts to dump while our motorhome was towing our car. The pool area is nice with a small splash pool for the kiddos. We DO wish they would have a hot tub, at least for what they charge!! We camped here in a Motorhome.

The sites were not very long but well maintained. This KOA has a Kamp K9 which was gated and well maintained. This was a big plus in our book. The staff was very friendly. The store was super clean and well stocked. There were tons of activities for everyone. There are tours that can be taken from the front office to see various parts of Nashville. The Santa Fe Cattle Company Steakhouse located up the road was recommended to us by the girl in the front office, and it was the best steak I have had in a long time. A must stop if you want great food. The bathroom & private showers were clean and well maintained. It was close from the highway and near lots of attractions. There is a large indoor Mall being built which will open in 2012 just minutes away. We camped here in a Motorhome.

As many people have noted in the past the pull through sites are narrow and short in length. Site we occupied was level side to side and front to back. Campground was clean and well maintained. This is a lovely park but ridiculously expensive, especially when the pool wasn't open yet. We could not have stayed here without gift certificates. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. We were led to our site, and as others have said everything is new except for the interior roads. We appreciated the immaculate, cement block restrooms nearby with all the storms in the area. There is some road noise, but we were the third lot from Music Valley Drive and slept fine. Soft sides would want a back site. There is a lounge with pool and ping pong tables and printed information to show local groceries, etc. Verizon cell, cable TV, and WiFi worked fine. There is a nice playground, pet area, group fire pit, and the cabin section had grills and patio chairs. This is definitely the nicest park of the three in a row, and since we need full hook-ups for multiple day stays to see family, we will probably return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground had numerous items in it's favor such as location, friendly staff, and large pull-through sites for motorhomes. We were quoted higher rates for the weekend nights online, but we were later told by one of the staff that the rate should be the same every night. We were able to negotiate not being charged the $4 per night increase for the weekend nights. We found out upon our arrival that the additional fee was for the Easter weekend activities that included a breakfast. The staff was great, but the breakfast was awful. If they continue to charge an increased camping fee for such a perk, then they should really do better than a small household griddle and undercooked pancakes with cold syrup. Since we didn't pay the $8 weekend assessment, we didn't voice our dissatisfaction to the chef. The Wi-Fi was pathetically slow when it worked and we could only get access the first day. We could see the signal (weak) but couldn't connect the next two days. We were located very close to the office in the premium, pull through spaces. We were blasted on our last night here by the horrendous thunderstorms the damaged much of the southeast. The campground hosts came by in the evening and individually notified all campers of the risk and advice to take cover. We appreciated their concern and professionalism. We are frequent KOA campers and would definitely stay here again, but would again question any fee variation. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our second stay at Nashville KOA in the last six months. As before, the restrooms, showers, and all other facilities were very clean. The staff was very friendly. If there is any reason for not giving the part a 10 it is because the roads are just a little tight. With many pull through sites, getting in was not a real problem. The greater concern is leaving as you pull out of the sites. Just take it slow and watch for the trees. We will use this park again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We're a new fulltiming family of 9, and this was our first stop. We arrived late, after the office was closed, but they left a CG map with our site marked and a path outlined. Staff is very friendly, and the site is in good condition as they continue to recover from the 2010 floods. Roads still need repair, but the CG is in pretty good shape. Good water pressure. WiFi steady through Tengo Internet. Very close to the freeway, but we didn't notice the noise. We had a tornado warning one night, and the staff made a point to check all the RVs, and opened up the main building as a shelter. Good stay, and we'll stay here again if we're in the area. Rate reflects a Stay 3-Get 4th Free with a one-night extension. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is one of the better KOA campgrounds we have stayed at through the years. Of course all the facilities are brand new, since they were under 6' of water back in May 2010. The bathrooms were spotless and warm. The pool and hot tub LOOK nice, although since we had a white Christmas, obviously we didn't use them! The cable TV was good and the Tengo Internet was the best service from Tengo we have ever had. As another reviewer noted, our Verizon MiFi card was too slow to use, but the cell service was just fine. At any rate, we had no complaints about this KOA, except for the fact that the price was seemed quite expensive. Had this been during the summer when we could use all the facilities such as the pool, etc. perhaps this wouldn't have been an issue. But for the winter it was too much. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The Office was just recently re-done, due to last years flood, gorgeous area. Very nice staff, we decided to go to the Ryman, and the gentleman who helped us, worked really hard to get us the best seats in the house, he was very accommodating. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy access from the interstates. Site was high in the front but level side-to-side. Campground roads are in need of repair since the flood. Verizon cell service was adequate but we could not use our Verizon air card without a amp and booster antenna. Staff was friendly and helpful. Laundry was great as all the equipment is new and plentiful, $1.50 per wash/$1.00 to dry. You can arrange for a shuttle ($10 per person round trip) to downtown Nashville to see the sites. The only two negatives were the road noise from Briley Parkway but that would be the same with any of the parks along Music Road and the band that played on Thursday night, the music was louder that the highway noise and we were located next to the highway! We were campers at the Nashville KOA in May during the weekend of the flood. The hosts were unbelievably professional during such a horrible event. We returned to the Nashville KOA in September, only 4 months after the flood. The transformation is astounding. Everything in the park is brand new. The washrooms are like walking into the Ritz Carlton! They have done an incredible job restoring the campground to its present condition. We are amazed that the park and facilities are not only open, but better than ever! Staff continue to present a positive, friendly and caring atmosphere, which is very important to us. They are the kind of people who keep us coming back again and again. Bravo for the huge effort and inspiring attitude! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very large park, good location for visiting Nashville. As others have stated, this park was underwater due to floods in May 2010, and now they're open and doing well. They are still under construction as far as repair goes and the bathrooms and showers in "P" area are closed. Unfortunately the KOA office didn't explain that when we checked in, but we made do with what they did have available. WiFi was off and on, and the cable TV had many channels. We would probably stay here again but there are several other RV camps along the same road so we may check them out. KOA's tend to be a bit too pricey for us but due to construction we did get a discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park. It is very convenient. It was easy to get anywhere with in a matter of a few minutes. We were given a 50% off discount due to some construction from the flood still going on. The sites are asphalt most with shade. The campground is kept very clean. It is still recovering from the Nashville flood that significantly impacted this camp. However, this campground has made huge strides to recover! Pool is up and running, several construction sites throughout the camp, but the nearly 50% discount on the nightly charges made the slight inconveniences of the construction almost unnoticeable! We were at this park for a trailer group rally. There was some question about the rally continuing to be at this site as they were flooded out in April (ten feet of water in some parts of the park) but they did their utmost and we were pleased with their efforts. We were not happy that we had no cable TV and only 30 amp power though. 50 amp and cable TV is only available in some areas of the park. The park staff were attentive and made our group of 125 rigs feel most welcome. The park has lots of trees, lots of cicadas, lots of fireflies, and lots of paved roads to walk the dog on. The sites were level and not too close together. Our site was a back in and it was not too difficult to maneuver into. It was easy to access from the freeways. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We were escorted to our pull-through, W/E 30/20 site. Cordial staff. The big office is closed and staff is operating out of a temporary trailer office, therefore no store. I was rather disappointed in our site assigned so far from lone bathhouse and near a big NOISY road when so many, many other more desirable and close sites were empty. Lots of road noise. WiFi Tengo wouldn't work for any of us (although I had specified the need for a good WiFi site in our reservation). The free cable TV worked. We really enjoyed the beautiful pool although the lights didn't work. The truly beautiful although faraway new bathhouse was unfortunately overrun in the morning by a multitude of dirty and careless teen, tent-campers tracking in mud, rinsing sandals in sink, etc. There were many peeping frogs and very few mosquitoes in this very pretty, heavily treed campground. It had a very convenient location to the Grand Ole Opry and it was practically next-door neighbor to Camping World. We would return if we could get a site farther from the noisy road. Anyone interested in a little elbow room from their site, ought to go somewhere else. We are part of a national rally with over 120 rigs. A large # of sites have only 30 amps, some have no sewer, and the length of the sites ranges from 38' - 55'. You can not park your tow vehicle on the same site unless you park parallel to the very narrow streets. They are far less ready for campers than advertised. I will not return. This campground was completely destroyed by the flood but they are rebuilding as fast as they can. The restrooms just re-opened while we were there and my goodness are they ever nice. The people in the office are extremely nice and bent over backwards to be helpful. The sites that have been able to re-open are nice but lots of road noise where we stayed. The campsite is very pet friendly and the pool area is wonderful. We will definitely stay there again. The location is wonderful but let's keep that a secret. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Great KOA next to Camping World and other RV Parks. Nice park like setting, with friendly staff and management. Has Grey Line tours on site for local tours, or shuttle to some attractions. This is a friendly park with helpful employees. We stayed in a great big pull-through site. Access is easy to the park from the interstate and there is plenty of dining in this tourist area. Nice place to stay close to the sights in Nashville. Good cable TV selection, good power, good water pressure. There is quite a bit of road noise from nearby Briley Parkway, which is as busy as most freeways. This park is only about 5 minutes from the Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills (which remains closed from the May 2010 floods). Opry Mills is slated to re-open next spring (2012). If you stay here, don't miss the opportunity to eat at the Cock of the Walk restaurant. The food and atmosphere are wonderful. It is a favorite haunt of many country music stars, sports stars, etc. and with good reason. It is literally right next door to the campground. Additionally, there is a Camping World two doors down. We like staying here on the weekends and shopping, dining out, etc. It's cheaper than a hotel. The campground has been rebuilt since the May floods. Prior to that, there were several ratty looking campers in the older part of the campground that looked like they might have been here for a long while. However, everyone was very friendly and we have enjoyed every stay we've had here. Unless you get lucky enough to get one of the 'big rig friendly' sites, some of the sites of short. We had a 31' TT and had to unhook and turn the truck sideways in front of the camper in order to fit. All sites are pull through. The bath houses are clean. Daily tours depart from the CG office. Overall, I'd recommend this CG to others. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I read through many of the reviews before posting, and I agree with many of the positives and negatives of this park. The KOA in Nashville is truly pricey, but you are really without options because you are paying to be in Nashville and there are only three or four parks (all virtually on the same street) from which to pick. The proximity to Opryland can't be beat (down the street), but it's a good 40 minute drive into downtown in pretty serious traffic. The park has actually improved under current ownership. The newly added dog park area is really nice and I used it frequently to give my pooches an unleashed run-around time. Also, cable TV is now available, and believe me, staying here without it a few years ago was a real drag. There are plenty of TV stations. That being said, the sites are tight and a big rig (which I drive) only fits in a standard site if you park your tow vehicle diagonally across the site either in front or in the rear of your rig. A few deluxe pull-throughs have been created and they permit rig and vehicle to park straight on. Also, it is very true that the streets in the park only allow one vehicle on the road at a time. That can be tricky, and the park tries to allow for this by making the streets one way. Problem is that the streets aren't marked, so you don't know which way the street is supposed to go unless you keep your park map with you at all times. A big issue is the proximity of the park to a highway, which is really noisy. You don't want to be parked near it. Try to park in the new section that has been opened up across from the office, which is quieter. Finally, I note that I've stayed here several times and the staff has been either terrific (the more usual) or awful. In particular, try not to interact too much with a male staff member "M", with whom I had nothing but difficulties during my most recent stay in November, 2009. He is rude and protects the live-aboards when they are misbehaving to the detriment of the casual traveler. He will also retaliate against you for lodging any sort of complaint. This is an old KOA that needs updating. You are paying for the closeness to the new Grand Old Opry and the music hall they have on-site. One night they had free entertainment (7 people showed up); the other nights you had to pay. The showers are small and old; the shower vent was clogged with dirt and crap. True they finally installed cable because there is no way that you can get satellite TV in most of the spaces. The pull-thoughs are not long enough, unless you have a 20 ft travel trailer. The roads throughout the campground are only wide enough for one vehicle; if you meet someone going the other way you will have pull over into the grass or mud. A 40 ft motor home will barely fit on one of the regular pull-throughs, and you will have to park your toad in the mud in front of your motor home. The sites are only 10 ft wide and they make or will give you pads for your jacks because the asphalt is already cracking. There are only 9 true pull-throughs, patio sites, costing over $70 dollars a night. When we pulled into our site we ran over the sewer connection which was buried in the ground. When I hooked up the water hose and let it run a minute, rust came out of the hose. When we registered, they said they were full for the time that we stayed there. I noticed 3 other better sites that were vacant the whole time we were there. They put us in a site adjacent to the work-kampers within 100 yards from Highway 155, really noisy. You are better off to stay at one of adjacent campgrounds that are cheaper and look wider. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park, convenient to Opryland and the "Nashville experience." The lanes and spaces are very tight for big rigs: characteristic of older park design. One half of the park has cable TV and the other does not. Be sure you ask if this is important to you. A very strong Nomad wireless Internet system (many parks have a much weaker system) is a big plus. We were assigned a spot in the section without cable TV and had "live aboards" in a trailer next door getting ready to party. We asked to be moved and they found us a spot without sewer but with electric and water: and it was a great spot with lots of trees and quiet. We would return here as it's very convenient with nice amenities: pool, miniature golf, grass. Staff was also nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This ia a large campground with a lot of trees and a mix of pull through and back-in sites. It is near the highway but we did not notice any highway noise. The park was very clean throughout during our stay. The pool was quite nice and there was a free concert at the pool area during one of the evenings. The restrooms by the office were clean but quite small, especially the showers. But the restrooms elsewhere in the park were considerably more spacious as well as clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The Opry area as well as the rest of Nashville are easily accessible from the campground. Park is kept generally clean. Landscaping is adequate, but not exceptional. We had a really muddy 30/50 pull-through site, with a large pool of water standing on one end. Drainage is poor throughout the park. Roads and parking pads are old and rough. The site was small and poorly maintained compared to price equivalent KOA's. Sewer connection was at the far end of pull through. For the first time in 6 years, we had to get an extension. Lots of trailers had LONG sewer hoses. The park is paranoid about dogs. We walked our fully command trained dog in a completely empty section of the park, 100 feet or more away from anyone. We got yelled at by one employee and approached by the general manager. ABSOLUTELY all dogs must ALWAYS be on a leash except in a small dog walk. We do not recommend this KOA if you have pets. The camp store is terrible, with lots of trinkets and religious stuff and few camper supplies. For example, they had no ice cream. This facility spends to much time on its live music and tours and too little time on the quality for the camper. We never saw the park more than 30-40% full, even on the summer weekend. We will not be back, and there are nice adjoining alternative parks. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Although this campground is pricey in comparison to the other campgrounds nearby, we enjoyed our stay. This campground is located near everything in Nashville. The campground had a lot to offer: paved roads, concrete sites, cable TV, pool, laundry open 24/7, etc... They even offered Gray Line Tours from the campground. We took the downtown Nashville tour; home of the stars; Jack Daniels Distillery tour; Elvis impersonator; and Grand Ole Opry tour via Gray Line Tours. They pick you up and drop you off at the campground. You can also take public transportation within 1/2 mile of the campground to downtown Nashville. You are also within walking distance to multiple restaurants and Camping World. The staff was very accommodating. On check-in, we asked them if we could change the site that we were assigned since it was too close to the highway. They provided us with a list of sites available for the length of our stay (8 days). They guided us to our site. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

My wife and I made a reservation here while on the road. We almost immediately realized that we had miscalculated our mileage and that we would have to drive nearly thirteen hours to reach this campground. We called back literally 12 minutes later to cancel and they absolutely would not refund our money ($75 for a small cabin). This was not during any holiday season. Not wanting to lose $75 we drove the 13 hours. That was the worst customer service we've experienced at any campground! We will not stay here again and would advise anyone else to do the same. If you camp here during a rainshower every site has waterfront access. It does seem to drain quickly however. The cable is okay once you set up as is the WIFI. The staff when we checked in wasn't exactly knowledgeable. We had our reservation confirmation for a pull-through but the young lady argued that their wasn't one available since they had a Coachman Rally booked. It took the general manager (who was able to read the confirmation) to move us to a pull-through site. Sites are narrow and driving around the park requires your RV to bend and slide around other rigs. If you plan on just an overnight stay, plan on unhooking your vehicles. This is a park that is well worth your money! If you couldn't fit a 40' into your site something is wrong. A 38' foot was right next to us and had a vehicle parked front and rear. We had room to spare, and friends parked behind our rig while we were parked in front. Cable reception and Wi-Fi was great and the $10.00 donation for the show was worth it. The store, pool, laundry, goofy golf, dog park were very well maintained. The maintenance folks were mowing every day and were by far the most friendly and helpful staff we have come across in a long time. Old, rundown, poorly maintained park. Sites are extremely tight. The day we arrived, it rained, and we had mud everywhere. The site we were given was BARELY long enough - I mean inches to spare - we told them how long we were beforehand. Our "escort" led us to the site, drove through it, and disappeared. Still had to get out and check and guide ourselves in. We were quoted one rate on the road, and when we arrived, it had gone up $6. When we questioned it, we were told that the person that we spoke with had made a mistake. Hookups are old and at the rear of the sites - had to run 30" of sewer and water hose to hookup. Patios are small and placed in spots that would have worked 30 years ago , but not today. Cable was poor quality - 60% of the channels were not clear, no HD at all. They require that you use jack pads, and will lend you some if you don't have any - the sites are in that bad of shape, and they don't want to spend any money to improve them. We traveled with another couple, and the staff was incompetent enough to charge us for both motorhomes, even though we told them that we were paying separately. When we checked in we were told that we couldn't miss the night's entertainment - we had to see it. What they didn't tell us that there was a substantial charge to see it, which we chose to decline, as we were paying a premium price for an inferior campground. It further substantiated what KOA stands for " Keep On Adding." The best part of our 7 day planned stay here was the fact that we only reserved 1 night, and went out and checked the 2 other parks that are next to this place. Two Rivers looked good - sites were a little close, but it was dry and grassy - and considerably cheaper. We opted for Yogi Bear, as the sites were bigger, and we are towing behind 40' rigs. I have no idea how this KOA stays in business with two better campgrounds right next to it. We would not stay again - the owners need to wake up and spend some money on this aging place. For $60+ a night, we expected a "deluxe" site - not the tiny pull-through we were assigned to. There was no way we'd have been able to fit our 38' trailer AND tow vehicle into the site. There was no way we could stay hooked up, because we'd have blocked the road in front of us. So, we had to drive to the front lot and park our truck - then walk back and forth. The only way we could have parked the truck, would have been to park on the "grass" (which we were warned not to do). The tree next to us was so overgrown, the roots were cracking what used to be a level cement pad - and made it difficult to walk around to the trailer door. This KOA has nicer buildings than most, but is otherwise typically-rundown and horrifically overpriced. I guess they're charging due to their location - but when they're only 1/3 full, WHY? This is a very nice park. As usual in a KOA staff was very friendly and helpful. They had rented out the music barn while we were there and apologized in advance for the probable noise. Hubby had three Ticks drop out of the trees above our site in a matter of hours and bite him. We stayed here for one night on our way to Alabama. We loved having a large pull-thru site. The playground for the dogs was a great advantage. 'Cock of the Walk' restaurant next door was very good and Camping World is right next door to that. We would have rated it higher except we don't see why someone would pay $20 more a night for this campground compared to Two Rivers which is just a block or two down the road, unless perhaps pull-thru sites and a playground for the dogs is worth that much to someone. This campground is very convenient to the Opryland Complex and travel to downtown is easy. The sites are adequate and they have almost all pull-thru sites. Some sites come with outdoor fireplaces and patio furniture. They have two dog parks which are great to let your dogs run and play. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a huge park located very close to the Grand Ole Opry and convenient to the interstate. The sites are a little close together, but the park is easy to navigate. The people are very friendly and helpful. This is a very dog friendly park, with two fenced in dog pens complete with exercise equipment. There is free wi-fi that works OK. There is no cable TV, but the antenna reception is acceptable. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is typical of the KOA campgrounds. They are old, and not equipped to handle the modern RV's. The sites are very small, and narrow. We have a 38' motorhome, and couldn't open both slides due to the narrow site. You can tell that this park was build along time ago when no one had slides, and equipment was smaller. I thought that paying $53 a night was like highway robbery. Until they improve this park, they should be ashamed to charge that when compared to other parks who had more to offer, and level, good sized lots. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is one of the nicest KOA's I have been in. It is pricey especially the premium patio sites which are the most expensive. The patio sites have a large pebbled cement patio with a patio table and four chairs. There is also a patio glider and free standing fireplace. The patio sites are large enough even for the big rigs with multiple slide outs. The pool was large with a pavillion next to it for shade. All of the staff was friendly and tried to make sure your stay was enjoyable. It would have been nice to have cable TV for the prices they are charging. Overall, the park is close to all the Nashville attractions and offers Grey Line Tour bookings to all of the local attactions. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The pool area is very nice and large with a covered pavilion so you do not have to sit in the sun while watching the kids. My only negative is that they do not have cable. The Nashville, Tenn KOA is the first to realise the need for fun and ease for dogs. There are 2 separately fenced in areas with agility equipment. The equipment is not regulation size but its still fun. There are benches in each gated area to let the dogs run and romp while you relax a bit. I could only hope that the other KOAs take note and also have future plans for a similar area for dogs. Many people vacation with there pets and this one of the best there is. Sites are average size and the rest rooms are clean. I would recommend the Nashville, Tenn KOA to all. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Have stopped here overnight for several years enroute to and from Florida. Nice campground, next to Campers World and several nice restaurants. Did not have reservations, and came in after office was closed. The rate was much higher than in the past, and staff explained it was their "after hours rate." Nice but expensive, especially in the winter when none of the extras are available and everyone just stays in their RVs. Very pleasant staff; upon check in, they identified that their website had charged us for a 50 amp site that we did not need, and they promptly refunded the difference. Even the premium sites are very small. Their premium site was so short, our 32' 5th wheel with truck (we didn't even drop trailer) stuck out into the road. Had to park extra vehicle in grass. This campground is way over-rated. This is a great campground. The staff is all very friendly and helpful and the park is very clean and nice. We stayed here over Thanksgiving and they had a nice dinner that everyone in the campground was invited to attend. The only reason this park didn't get a 10 from me is that the sites are a bit close to each other. We were near the highway and the noise from it was not bad at all. We camped at this campground a couple of year's ago and it was okay. Our return visit was a surprise at how much improvements had been made. We requested the large pull through deluxe site which had a pebbled concrete patio and a fire place. WIFI is free to use and everyone tries to make your stay a good one. I am not sure how KOAs (or other campgrounds for that matter) manage their reservations, but this one seemed a little weird. When I made the reservation weeks in advance I asked for a 50 amp pull through. I was told they did not have a PT available but that they had a back in site. I wrongly assumed they meant it was 50 amp, so I took it. When we got there I again asked at the desk if they had a 50 amp PT. The person checking us in said she would see, but another desk person immediately said they didn't have any PT's available, only back ins. I said that was OK, and they showed us to our site. As with most KOAs the road was narrow, and we had trouble backing in. Fortunately there were no RVs in the sites on the opposite side of the street or I don't think we could have gotten in since we had to pull forward into those spots. An inconvenient tree and light pole didn't help, but we made it. We located the sewer on the correct side of the site, but then we discovered the water and electrical hook ups were on opposite side. We have long cords and hoses so this still would have worked until we found out the site was only 30 amp. So we went back up to the office to ask for a 50 amp site. I talked to a third lady (the first two weren't there then) and explained that we thought we had reserved a 50 amp site and asked if they had one available. I'm sure the look on my face was priceless when she said, "Would you mind being in a pull through?" I suppose they could have had a cancellation in that short period of time, but it seems a bit unlikely. I didn't even try to find out why we were refused a PT the first two times. This site was easier to get into but very close to the next space over on our utilities side. In fact our sewer opening was almost under their picnic table. I felt sorry about this, but it was really their problem, not ours. The rest of the stay was fine. The camp is shaded and the spaces are clean. They are making some super sites which contain patio furniture and landscaping, but I think they also had a super price. The pool looked very nice, and the bathrooms were clean. They do not have cable TV, and we never did get the WiFi to work although they said it should. We think they are overpriced, but we would probably stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our second time here and spent only one night. The pool was for the season and I thought the price was a little high for what you get considering that there are several other campgrounds on the same street within a couple of blocks from each other. All the campgrounds are within a couple of miles of the Grand Ole Opry, but you will need transportation to get to downtown Nashville. The park was clean and the staff helpful. They especially advised that the restrooms and main building were reinforced as tornado shelters as we had several go through the area that night. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

If you are looking to stay close to the tourist areas of Nashville, TN then relative to the other two campgrounds this is the best or atleast equal too. Everything was clean and seemed updated. Our site was a pull through with W/E and we had no problem getting around with our 30+ft TT. Things are a bit tight for my personal taste, but we knew that when we decided to stay in Nashville, rather than further out. Fortunately, it wasn't very crowded due to the time of year I suspect. There's lots for the kids to do...pretty much the same as Jellystone - two pools, playground, game room, Putt Putt Golf etc. Also, the WiFi was fast & easy to use. I wish that there was more space & the prices cheaper rates, but this is what you get in town. We would stay there again anytime. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Beware, the entire top part of the campground ( the NICEST) part has been leased to a motor home dealer and is no longer a part of the campground. Very overgrown trees prevented use of the awning, the entire area was a muddy mess and the 50 AMP sites were in the middle of a row in the center of the campground. NO CABLE even though it has been promised for 3 years! Not designed for slides. Our neighbors had a patio side slide and with their slide and ours out, they only had about 4 feet of patio space. It looks like all of the campgrounds on Music Valley drive have gone downhill badly and are shriveling up, slowly. I seriously doubt that we will go back to KOA again. We had a reservation for a prime spot and were only informed of the loss of those sites 2 weeks before our trip. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is most definitely a big rig CG. We pulled our Airstream and the backin sites were pretty small. No fires allowed but there is plenty to do here. It is close to several major attractions. We spoke to a lady who sponsors a big rig rally here and was very complimentary of the accommodations of the staff. We are more into rustic campgrounds and this had more of a trailer park feel. Sitting under our awning, my feet were close to the sewer connection for the site next to me. Could not fully extend awning because it would hit our neighbors

Of the 3 Nashville CGs on Music Valley Drive I think this is the best. The new side is better than the old. Nice people at checkin and the CG is quiet, yet close to everything. You can walk to Camping World and several different places to eat. We camped here in a camper.

Beautiful park. The sites are clean, large and spacious. Lots of trees everywhere making the park scenic and inviting but impossible to get satellite. It is tight for a big rig but do-able with the right site (sites 32, 33, 35, 44, 46 and 48 can easily accommodate big rigs). Some sites sloop down too much to get level in the larger motor homes. The few pull though sites are too tight with trees, and the dump station is too tight for 45 foot coaches. Excellent location close to Hermitage, Music Row and downtown Nashville. Can't beat the price with the Senior Pass. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We loved Seven Points, even though we couldn't get one of the better campsites. This is the closest public campground to downtown Nashville (20 minute drive) and like other COE parks is well maintained and clean. The setting is beautiful and the sites are very private. This is a beautiful Corps of Engineers park with many beautiful lakefront sites. Even the sites that aren't right on the lake are very nice. It's close enough to drive into downtown Nashville (about half an hour) and also to the Grand Ole Opry (about 20 minutes), yet it is so nice to be "out in the country" and away from the hustle and bustle. The price we paid is with the Golden Age Pass. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an excellent campground!! We stayed here for three nights while we visited the Nashville area. The campground is approx. 12 miles outside of downtown Nashville. We had a large, level site with just the right amount of shade. We were across from the playground and beach area which was perfect for the kids. It was very hot while we were there and we took advantage of the lake for some evening swims before bed. If we ever travel back to this area, I would love to stay here again. I'd give this campground an 8.5 if possible. You can reserve specific sites online ahead of time. Sites are shaded, spacious level gravel with concrete pad, picnic table & fire ring. Some sites are by the lake, online map provided by park service can be a bit deceiving. Clean showers & bathrooms, take bug spray, it's by the lake! Spacious showers, plenty of hot water. Lots of shade trees. Dump station & garbage bin on your way out. Playground for kids by the lake. No laundry. Price paid was senior citizen discount. Not far from Nashville either! With Golden Age pass $12, typical COE campground – beautiful sites, water, electricity, table, lantern holder and half the sites right on a lake. There is a boat launching area, beach, fishing and each site even has a table to work on the fish you catch. Bathhouses are clean and small but depending on your site a nice walk away. This is in the Nashville area with lots to do – the Hermitage is only six miles away. We were there during a tornado warning, thunderstorm and high winds and the drainage of the sites was good. 60 sites in all and a laundry facility is available. We would definitely return but there are about seven other COE campgrounds in the Nashville area to try which is hard to believe that there are so many right near a good size city. This COE campground is one of the most popular in the country and it opens around April 1 and closes October 31. We camped here in a Motorhome.

My review of this campground is mixed. The sites are spacious, very private and have paved pads. They are also extremely close to Nashville. Unfortunately many sites are not level. I called and talked with the rangers prior to making a reservation to ask if site #5 was level. I was told that it had a sloping drive then leveled off and would be fine. If we were a short RV it would be great, but we are in a 37 ft. motorhome and our rear wheels are 4 inches off the ground! NOT GOOD! I cannot imagine if we were in a 45 ft. unit! There are sites that are more level but be careful. Unless you can visit and see for yourself, I do not know how you can be certain if any site you reserve is level since the rangers do not seen to have a clue. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this COE during the week day so it was quiet and peaceful. Most of the sites are far apart from each other (except those sites overlooking the lake). The interior road and sites are on asphalt. The road is fairly narrow making it difficult to back into a site, especially for a 32-foot, 5th wheel. The utility box and water was located near the back of the site. You will need a fairly long hose to connect to the water spigot. The electrical voltage was strong. Verizon air card was a little weak but usable. The Verizon cell phone worked well. The bathroom and showers were clean. They were a little dated but functional. There was one washer and one dryer located at the back of the bath house. We had two pretty good rain storms during our stay. The overall drainage was good. The roads and sites were not in a pool of water. This is a good location to visit Nashville (about 17 miles away). We would definitely come back again if we were in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

With a family of 6 (using a pop-up camper), the restroom/shower facilities are pretty important...Very clean and accessible! The sites (except for maybe #59) have plenty of room to set up your camp and enjoy plenty of "space" with your family (not cramped like some "commercial" sites). The site also have a very nice "design"... for easy setup (i.e. with fire pits located at a safe distance from the camper/tent). Some GREAT lake shore sites (especially #41, 43, and 45), as well as some very nice "woods" sites not on the lake (i.e. odd numbered 47 through 57), noting that most all sites were nice. This is a pretty park on a nice lake/waterway. Most of the sites are large and well situated. We got the last site available on a busy weekend, so ours was small and allowed little privacy (but we were lucky to get in!). One set of shower rooms was outstanding. Since I knew going in that there were no sewers, I can hardly score them down for not having them. Hence the 10. This campground is amazing from the rangers to the the maintenance crew. Everyone was so helpful. We were close to shopping and it took only 10 minutes to get into Nashville. This is a truly beautiful area and we will return if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I only wish we would have arrived sooner. It was way past sunset when we arrived and only stayed one night. As we pulled in, I realized that I should have made reservations for at least two nights here. The sites were large and immaculate while the campground itself was amazing! When we woke up the next morning, we all agreed that we'd need to make another road trip to visit this campground. For $20, there is no doubt that I would stay here again. We really enjoyed this campground. It was our first experience camping in a travel trailer, and we found everything to be wonderful. We had a leak inside our camper when we were away from the campground, which caused it to flood a bit on the floor of the trailer, and we returned to find that another camper had seen it and shut off the water for us. The camp host also had come by and left a note about it. Both of them came by the next morning to check on us, so we felt very good about the consideration of others. Showers, bathrooms were very clean: enough so that we used them instead of our own. It is a very beautiful campground with almost all shaded sites and a nice lake for swimming. It was also very easy to find with our GPS. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

OK so first of all my wife and I prefer the COE, state park experience to the more lush, yet side-by-side experience of RV "resorts" so keep that in mind when reading this review. That said, every great review here seems to be true. We arrived during a break in the rain, and the host said to go set up before the rain came and then come back and settle up. Sure enough it started raining buckets full just as we finished. Flat, paved, deep site for us to back in to. Lots of lake front sites but we had one in the woods with lots of very appreciated shade. Will definitely stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A great location to be out of the hustle and bustle of Nashville. It is a ways out of town, but that makes it a quiet place to relax. Lots of trees provide great shade: though satellite TV is limited. A portable Dish works the best. Staff was very friendly. Some of the trees need to be trimmed higher, so a 9 is the rating that I will give. Would recommend to anyone staying in the Nashville area. Book early as they are filled every weekend through August. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have visited. Sites are huge with large graveled areas for campfire. KOA and other commercial campgrounds should take notice on how it should be done. Sites are a little tight to get into for big rigs, but it can be done. Lots of over hanging trees. It is about 20 minutes from Nashville attractions. We followed the GPS and it took us down a very bad back road. Speed limit was 40, but 10 mph was almost too fast. The best way is to call the campground for instructions. Reservations are highly recommended as it is a very popular campground with the locals. This is the first time we have stayed at a Corp of Eng. park, but will check out others in the future after this visit. Our $10 rate was due to our Golden Age Pass. Reg rate is 20 for the regular sites and 24 for the water front sites. Staff at the gate was very helpful and friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Price is on National Park Senior Pass - Driving here you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and there couldn't possibly be a campground down this residential road. The signs say that there is, and sure enough, 7 Points Campground finally appears. The CG is a Corps of Engineers campground, and as usual, is very nice. The staff is very friendly... both shifts! (they work 4 days on and 4 days off) Those folks really work hard at making your stay enjoyable. The sites near the lake (#'s 21-41,odd-are on the water, even #'s are across the road from the water, remainder of the sites are on the loop road but with no real water views). Some sites are 50/30/20amp and others are 20/30 amp with water and there is a dump station on the entry road. 7 Points is a nice campground and located 15 or 20 minutes from Opry Land and many other major stores including Camping World, food stores, etc. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a US Army Corps of Engineers campground located on Percy Priest Lake just east of Nashville. This is a clean, well laid out campground with paved interior roads. The roads are a little tight, but we had no trouble maneuvering our 32-foot motorhome with a towed vehicle. Sites are paved and mostly level. Sites have water and electric, most are 50 amp and others 30 amp. A dump station is located at the campground entrance, with facilities for dumping on either side of your rig. The campground host was friendly and helpful. This campground is a few miles off I-40, but little hard to find. I prefer to use my brain to navigate, but here I used my GPS to get in and back out again. The rate reflects the Senior Pass rate. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice COE park on J. Percy Priest lake. All roads and sites are new asphalt. Sites we had was level, had 20/30/50 amp power, water, table, BBQ cooking equipment, and fire ring. All sites have lots of space in and around. Trees are very heavy and satellite dishes may be hard to work here. TV over the air did pick up a good number of channels. Verizon cell phone worked well. You have a nice beach on lake front to play in as well as play ground equipment for kids. Number of places to eat and shop near I-40 or 5 miles north of park. Only problem I see here is the roads from I-40 to park can be a little hard to travel on but the signs into park are well marked. Use I-40 exit 221B and go south. Gates are closed at 10:00 pm. Ducks will come to see you if you have a site near the water, lunch time. You will hear some jet noise from airport across the lake but it's not too loud. Staff was nice at check in and helpful as well. Nightly rate was on Golden Age card. We camped here in a Motorhome.

As with most Corps of Engineers parks, Seven Points on the J. Percy Priest Lake is a beautiful, well-maintained campground. Sites are mostly level with good gravel surfacing and asphalt paved service roads. As mentioned in previous reviews, there are probably a few too many trees to allow rooftop satellite dishes to obtain a signal, at least until we found site No. 44 which has a beautiful view of the southern sky and the lake. Verizon cell phone and air cards work quite well here, as does the bat-wing antenna for local TV. With its proximity to the Nashville area this makes a wonderful spot to stop for a visit. We found the new Providence shopping area nearby with restaurants, shops, and a theater. We would have rated this campground a 10 but deducted 1 for the lack of sewers and another 1 for the difficulty in getting satellite TV. The cost represents a 50% discount for a Golden Age card, a real bargain! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park. Almost every site is shaded and mostly secluded. Because of this, we couldn't get any satellite reception, however we had excellent internet with our Verizon aircard. Sites are mostly level, some sites slope more than others. Security was excellent but not invasive. The showers were spotless. All the sights of Nashville are within a short drive. This is the second year we traveled through Nashville and we liked it so much last year we made it a point to stop again this year. This is a great park with lots of shade at the sites. Most spots you need a portable dish but you can pick up a few locals. Sites are humongous like most COE Campgrounds. All weekends appear to be booked so I recommend camp Mon thru Thurs. Pretty quiet during the week this time of year but I can imagine it is really busy on weekends. Has a beach, playground, and a boat launch. Lake is very big and some sites back right up on your private beach. Anytime I travel this way I will make it a point to stop here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

When we visited the park, the lake was rising and many sites were closed due to high water. The staff was a bit harried having to move people from lower sites to high ground and many were leaving to go back home. We were first told that the campground was full but we "begged" for a site as we were traveling and had to have a place to stay. They were very nice and found us a place. It turned out that so many people had left there were lots of sites available. With all of that, the park is very nice. Some of the sites were very tight for a 38' fiver but they let us find a site we could fit in. There were a lot of large sites but some were tight at the entrance because of stonework on each side of the entrance. The sites were level and very clean. I give them the highest rating for no sewer hookup, TV or Wi-Fi! The $10 rate was with Golden Age Passport. I don't know what the regular rate is. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our first visit to Seven Points and it is a great park. We were passing through on our way home from the Gulf Coast to Canada and used SP as a one-night stop-over. We see it as a possible return spot to enjoy the park as well as some music in Nashville. The sites are humongous and many are unique in design. Price reflects National Access Pass. Beautiful park in a great location. They are working on the road leading to the park so if you are coming in the next month or so, be careful. We originial had site 57, a pull-thru, but the angle is not good for a long 5th wheel. The host moved us to #45 which was great. In fact, most of the pull-thru's are not great for large 5er's. Back-in sites are long and at a 45 degree angle, so backing is easy. We'll be back! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was probably the most beautiful site we've ever had! We were right on the lake and had a wonderful, large lot. Several large trees provide shade and there is a large gravel area with a cement picnic table and enough room to park a car. It is wonderful to wake up in the morning, have a cup of coffee and watch a blue heron swoop down in the water as the sun rises. We stayed here the last two days of their season. The check in people were very friendly and the campground is close to several area attractions, including The Hermitage which is only a 15 minute drive! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a nice relaxing park which we enjoyed thoroughly. Fire rings and a fire every night reminded us why we are campers. However, one must choose his site carefully if you are in a big rig. Good skills in backing is required to back into most sites. Dump station is a very tight turn also and the drain is on the opposite side of the camper, not a problem just a small hassle to run hose under rig. Proximity to Nashville was great. Nice area of town also, felt very safe there. Each site is rather unique as some are square, circular or triangular, again, backing into requires patience and knowledge. This place is fabulous - you are within seven miles of Nashville, but you'd never know it. So quiet. Lots of nice, shady spaces - there isn't a bad site in the place. Lots of room to walk your dog. Staff is friendly. The folks that keep the place clean are truly to be commended - the restrooms were spotless and they came around every few days and raked the spaces and blew the leaves off the pads. This was just as other's have said, a really great find. There is a swimming beach, next to the playground. There are some sites that share a common driveway in case you're camping with friends and family. It's close enough to downtown but far enough to be "in the woods". The park has 60 sites on a 1 mile loop; all sites were full for this weekend - May 17. Many of the sites are narrow and tree lined. Most are back-in and there are only a couple of pull-thru sites. There is a beach and playground for children and a good boat dock area. All sites have nice tables and campfire rings (no firewood available for purchase at the park). Although there is a slope at many of the sites, at the end they are all level. Site #11 looked especially nice right on the lake. Family in that site had made their reservation 6 months before when reservation window opened. Campground hosts are friendly and knowledgeable and come back year after year. This campground is open 4/1 through 10/31, and reservations would be needed any weekend in that period. We stopped by during the week in mid-April, and all of the best sites on the lake were already taken. We camped here in a Motorhome.

One of if not the best park we've camped in. Our site was lakeside and it was perfect. From I-40 there are two exits that get you to this park. Do not use Exit #226 as this is a narrow winding road with a lot of low hanging tree branches. Use the directions from the park website instead which is a much better route. The park hosts told us this is the #1 COE park in TN so, if possible, reserve sites in advance. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice campground. Roads & sites are paved with asphalt. Sites are very long so RV size is no problem and a lot of room between site. Only a few pull through sites which would not hold a large RV. Most of the sites are back-in and entering from the road is a sharp turn. We stayed in site 40 which is not on the lake shore but is really a nice site. TV reception is reasonable. There is a dump station at the entrance. Shower, laundry and dumpster near the entrance. Restrooms on one side of the campground circle. There should be another restroom and showers for the 60 sites. There are a couple of parking areas and a boat ramp. This is truly a beautiful park. The sites are some of the largest I have ever seen, and the waterfront sites are spectacular! All sites are paved and have water 20/30 amp with others sites have 20/30/50 amp electric with a stone picnic table and fire ring with cooking surface. The lakefront sites are really on all-sports J. Percy Priest lake. You can anchor your boat or personal watercraft right on your campsite. There is a small swimming beach and boat ramp onsite. The beach and entire recreation area are reserved for registered campers, which is a nice contrast to the Cook Day Use area, another Corp of Engineers recreation area about 10 minutes away, which is packed with day-trippers on weekends. However, you do receive free access to the Corp of Engineers day use areas with your camping pass. The only minus here were the bathrooms. Contrary to other reviews, we found them very messy and in need of attention. However, the sheer beauty and spaciousness of the campground merits a high rating. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

This is a Corp of Engineers park on a Corp lake in the edge of Nashville and a pleasurable palce to stay. Although we were only there as a 1 night transit I was impressed with the facilities. Clean and well kept as are most Corp facilities. Prices reasonable and the hosts were friendly and courtious. I recommend staying at this park for either 1 night or a extended time. Only draw back is it seems to have a Skunk population that likes to come out at night so watch carefully. Sewer facilities are a dump station at the entrance. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is one of the best campgrounds I have ever visited. The sites are huge, with lots of
room between sites, and the waterfront sites are especially nice. The campground is well laid out, there's a nice swimming area. It's also very convenient to Nashville. I recommend it highly, and will be back! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

If in Nashville,this is the only campground I recommend. Close to the city and on Percy
Priest Lake. Fires permitted. Most sites are private and not close to each other. There are 2 bath houses. Only open until Halloween though. Opens in April. Sites
are paved with gravel areas. Some concrete also. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

When we phoned ahead to make sure that the camp sites were available, we were told to choose a site and that someone would be around later to collect the fee. There were two other rigs there, but no one stopped by. The park is centrally located and made a good over night stop on our way home. Electricity, water and sewer hook ups were conveniently located and worked well. The sites are very closely spaced. No restrooms or showers were in the vicinity. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Connections are old and outdated (if there were other campers we couldn't have used sewer, as the hookups are at the back of the space, directly behind your trailer). A community road passes through the middle of the RV parking, so there is a bit of traffic. It is also in a very rough section of town. Despite that, we felt relatively safe. The fairgrounds next door had a couple of events, the only one of which we actually heard was the stock car practice laps. It was a convenient place, and that's why we stayed here, and is the only reason to stay here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are on fairgrounds property and are just a place to park on pavement. Full hookups (rather uncommon for fairgrounds), although my sewer tap was clogged/full and would have overflowed had I used it. 50-amp plug was hard to insert all the way because the cut-out in the box for the cord was in the wrong place. Sites are narrow and short for big rigs, but everybody just sort of did what they could and would hang out into the "street" if necessary. There was grass on the other side of the street, so maneuvering wasn't too bad even with rigs sticking out. Location is convenient to downtown and the Lane Motor Museum, and for southbound travel out of Nashville, which is why we picked it over the RV parks on Music Valley Drive. The rate was $35, which seemed quite high for what you get. My experience is that a fairgrounds space like this should be more in the $20 range. But it has a lot of sites and would likely have space available when other RV parks are full. Rating of 3 takes into consideration the relatively high price. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The people were friendly, and we were surprised the pool was open before Memorial Day. The sites and roads are stone and level. We had site 116, a back-in near the back of the park, and the trees along this row provide nice shade. You are only about a mile from the Grand Ole Opry, and easy on and off the major route to get here from I-40. You can go either direction on route 155 to get to downtown Nashville about 6 miles away. We have stayed in a campground up the street, and this campground is far better. There is a little traffic noise but not bad. The bath house is older, but clean. There is a large car show at the Titan Stadium this weekend - there are a lot of campers with cars, so it has been fun talking with exhibitors. We would stay here again, and it is within walking distance of a Camping World store down the street. Rate reflects Good Sam discount and includes tax. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great place to stay as far as location is concerned. Nice office and store with very friendly staff. Relatively clean park with level sites. This was our second stay there and both times the 30 amp sites we were given had high of voltage and would kick off our power at our surge protector in the evening when sites around us started using less power. When we complained we were told nothing they could do and that I could disconnect and bypass my protector. I just turned off the power each night when we went to bed. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean, but small. Sites are gravel with a concrete pad for a small picnic table with a small grass strip between sites. Some sites have trees. The presence of highway traffic noise is constant and at the present time there is early morning construction noise coming from next door. Camping World is within walking distance. From the road this campground looks very appealing, however the interior roads are gravel and very badly in need of new rock with many pot holes. Our site and a couple others we looked at were very poor and needing rock or some sort of resurfacing badly. Our site was more or less level with large trees on both sides providing some nice shade. So why give a 4 out of 10? It had rained on Thursday, pretty heavily in fact. Every place in the park was standing in water and our hookups were above my ankles in water, including the electric. It was not until the next day that I could even find the sewer connection. As it turned out, all of the connections were set lower than the site and basically surrounded by mud. When I finally got the electric box open, there was a 30amp plug with not breaker (removed, there was a hole for it) or way to shut it off before hooking up. We did not even hookup until the next morning because of the water standing around the electric. In the daylight, our pad was obviously broken and in terrible shape, a very small poured pad had a table on it. There are no fire rings and the sites are pretty close together. All sites are back-in and obviously this park is of older design set up for smaller TT’s. Our unit is not a long 5th wheel, but even it was almost too long for the sites. The staff was ok. This park is located well, but it needs some serious updating. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

An okay park located next to the bypass around Nashville - a very busy and noisy highway. Office staff friendly. Gravel/paved roads. Gravel sites with concrete picnic pads are pretty level. Water pressure and quality good. Bathhouse clean but it's a little tired and could stand an update. Trash pickup at site. No fires allowed. Would probably look at other places if we were to stay in this area again, mainly due to the road noise. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is probably the best RV park in the area it is located. Streets are getting run down as pavement broken up and dusty. The main staff woman is very pleasant and helpful. The others could use personnel training on how to deal with the public. Not that they were ignorant, but more disinterested in what your wants or concerns were. The men's showers are lacking any clothes/towel hooks in very small shower areas. Very inconvenient as you have to hang you clothes and towels over the edge of the shower stalls into the adjacent stall or toilet. Not very nice. Facilities such as sewer, water and electric were good. Sites sufficiently large but trees can interfere with awning use. I would stay here again, but if things were fixed up a bit I would rate the park higher. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice campground near all of the Opry attractions. The sites are gravel and level. The one drawback is that the RV dealer next door has very bright security lights which can be a bother if you are in the front of the campground. Sites toward the back are darker and quieter. Above average park. Wide roads, mostly packed gravel; my site (505) was 1/2 bubble off level. Wi-Fi worked great. Cable tV worked fine, but limited channels. Weather was horrendous during stay. Rained every day (here 3 days), water everywhere, but when it stopped, it drained quickly. Other comments about location are right on. Shuttles are available for trip downtown. Front desk is knowledgable on sightseeing tours and locations and will make arrangements. Would definitely stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Convenient to Grand Ole Opry and minutes to downtown Nashville. The park is also cheaper than Jellystone on one side and the KOA park on the other. Still, the park is on a frontal road with an 8-lane highway beyond. Bright lights from RV dealer to the left. To the right, a staging area for Gray Line buses with constant back-up beeping day and night. Although they've just invested in new Wi-Fi equipment, it failed and worked only intermittently and unreliably for the week we were there. Water pressure was consistently poor. Sites were long enough but very narrow. Cable TV was snowy. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Just spent the night here while traveling through Nashville. Park was clean with friendly staff. Not much room between sites, but adequate. The only thing negative was the all night tour bus business next door with buses coming in all hours of the night. If you sleep with your windows open that might bother you. It was within walking distance of Camping World. I would stay here again for the convenient location. Staff offered to make tour arrangements for all the Nashville sites. This park is conveniently located to the Grand Ole Opry, Opryland Hotel, and many other tourist attractions. It is clean, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is ample green space to curb your dog, but because the park is smallish, there is not a lot of walking/exercise area. Wi-Fi worked great and so did cable/W/S/E. Over-all this park is very nice, and certainly provides all the necessities and more. There was even live music on the weekend. However, I found the sites a little close together, and the over-all feel of the park to be just slightly rough around the edges. Certainly a convenient and pleasant place to spend a few days. Stayed five weeks because of the location to Nashville and reasonable nightly rate. The campground is dated based on the electrical service and laundry room. There are some full timers living in the back section paying $450.00 a month plus electric. Pros: convenient to Grand Ole Opry and downtown Nashville Helpful, friendly office staff that assists in Show tickets and transportation. Well stocked store with all necessary food items level gravel sites, concrete pads with picnic tables nice pool with lounge chairs, limited shade, live karaoke Sunday evenings, some night security and garbage pickup every am. Good value for their nightly rate Pet friendly. Cons: Very limited 50 amp sites must reserve ahead to guarantee, most sites 30amp. No circuit breakers on sites must access main panels boxes to reset. Not all sites had sewer connections. Cable TV service is poor/fair quality, no HD reception WI-FI signal had two transmitters but I could never connect to either. Laundry had outdated machines that worked but dryers were .50 cents for 10 minutes of time. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Only drawback is there is a Greyline bus terminal right next to park to the West. Busses were idling until after 2am, diesel smell all night long. Try to book on the east side of the park if you can. We stayed here for 2 nights. The campground is very nice, clean, and has good level sites. We were pleased with the bathrooms and the showers. They were clean and smelled excellent. The road in the campground needs to be repaired. I know that they were flooded out a year ago, but I think they could repave the road a bit. It rained and when it did, the roads were very full of water puddles and have deep ruts. The staff could stand a little bit of more friendliness and kindness. Very rough for Nashville. Most folk are very friendly and courteous. These just seemed to think we took up their time and would have rather been somewhere else. Maybe they should go camping. Sorry about the bad reviews. We had a great time here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything satisfactory except the park is next to a Gray Lines Tour Bus storage facility and they were moving the buses around all night long with the back up warnings blaring each time. We stayed here for a few nights and really enjoyed our stay. I do think the bathhouse could use some updating for example, making the shower stalls larger and provide more room to place items. There is a larger shower area on the side of the office/store. I wished I would have known that earlier. You are close to Opryland Hotel a must see, and many great restaurants in the area. Also, don't miss The Fontanel Mansion tour its fabulous. Its the former home of Barbara Mandrell. I also suggest Tommy's tour which picks you up at the campground and is worth the $25.00. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here 5/14 - 5/22 for a RV rally. They promise free Wi-Fi, but only some of us could get on the internet. We asked them to have it checked and they told us it was our computer that was the problem. I went to a nearby McDonalds and was able to connect to their free Wi-Fi without any problem. They didn't appear eager to correct the problem. So, if you don't care whether you can access the internet or not, then you could stay here. I wouldn't stay here again. The price paid was with a Good Sam Discount, too much money for what we received. There is no shut off available on the electric box, which we feel is hard on our equipment. The water hydrant was bent halfway over and sites were very close together. This is an older campground in need of a huge makeover. It is full simply because it is close to Grand Ole Opry and minutes from downtown. Ok if necessary for an overnight stay,but we would not spend any length of time here. Clean well maintained park. Restrooms and showers nice. Very limited cable TV channels, Wi-Fi usually worked good. Good spot for overnight stay if you are coming to Nashville for the attractions. Not a destination campground. Make sure you don't get a spot on the right side near the bus terminal. You wont be able to sleep. For some reason they have backup alarms and engines running ALL NIGHT. Showers need more room. Adding sufficient hooks would help. Outlet in women's bathroom (1) didn't work. Very helpful staff. Wonderful tour "Tommy's Tour" pick up at campground. Also this campground has discounted tickets for Night Life (music and buffet dinner). Very good. Very close to attractions, but the Opryland Mall is closed for 2-3 years because of 5/2010 flooding. We spent one night. The grounds were well kept, and the sites were roomy enough so that you were not too close to your neighbor. The on site store was well stocked. Since our stay was in February, the campground was not busy. One annoying item was the sound of diesel buses with their engines running all night as well as the "beeping" sound as they backed up. It appeared there was a tour bus staging area adjacent to the park. This did not make for a very good night of sleep. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Kind of plain, but rates are 1/3 less than neighboring, big-name campgrounds and it is near a major metro / recreational area (Grand Ole Opry). Pleasant staff. Shuttle in p.m. to downtown Nashville. Peeves: knobs on faucets in rest rooms were spring loaded, making it hard to use. Rest rooms were under heated. (It was cold in January!) Wi-Fi worked for days and then could no longer connect even tho staff rebooted router. In balance, we'd return because of price and convenience to attractions and downtown Nashville. There are very few 50amp sites and the park was pretty full every night, even mid-week the end of October, so you may want to make reservations if you want to guarantee 50 amps. Sites are not big, but level and we were comfortable in our 36-footer which has slides on both sides. Laundry room was clean and restrooms seemed fine, although we didn’t use them much. The WiFi was not consistent and went out frequently. The staff is friendly, depending on the person you speak to. When the WiFi was not working at all, we went to the office to see if there was a problem. When we got there, the girl working in the office was standing outside smoking a cigarette and informed us we were not allowed in the office until she finished smoking her cigarette. We had to wait outside, and for help on the WiFi, until she was done. Apparently, cigarette breaks take priority over paying guests. If we stay in the area again, we may stay here or look at the other two parks on either side of this one. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Steady electric, okay water pressure, WiFi slow, hook ups at rear. Gravel roads, clean pool and bathroom. Sites very close together and towed vehicles park cross-wise in front of site. We were parked back to back with another 40’ motorhome and barely had 12” between bumpers. Small concrete pad with picnic table. Reserved satellite friendly pull-through, but was given back in under a tree (no satellite and no cable TV). Was told with a shrug that nothing else available for 50A, basically take it or leave it. Only have a dozen 50A sites, most are 30A. Easy access on/off highway, about 15 minutes to downtown. Constant hammering noise and trucks working at KOA park behind Two Rivers so couldn’t enjoy being outside very much. Okay for a few days stay, much less expensive than their neighboring parks but still over priced. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We arrived without a reservation, but they had plenty of sites (mid-week). The owner, working the desk, asked right away if we had a satellite dish. Yes, we do, a roof mount, so she switched our site to give us a clear south sky view. Our site was a 50amp back in, but unlike some others, we did not sit back to back with another rv. It was very hot during our stay, but the electric power was strong and steady. The water pressure was only fair. WiFi was free and worked ok, not the fastest, but good for email, etc. We took advantage of arranging a Nashville tour through the cg office. We enjoyed our stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had a nice level spot near the back of the park that was very quiet, with plenty of shade. The park provides a not of concierge services with respect to Grand Ole Opry ticketing, shuttles into Nashville, etc. Nice things for this area. We did have a problem with the 30 amp circuit breaker going out on us. The breakers are not on your site. They are located at consolidated boxes nearby. We weren't aware of this and had to call the office to find out where it was when the power went out during our stay. Despite this issue, we will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Two Rivers campground. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The park have tours set up through Grayline Tours which made visiting all the tourist sites very easy. They also have tickets for the Grand Ole Opry on hand which saved time at the ticket office the night of the show. The showers and laundry room are all air conditioned which was a blessing since they had near record heat the week we were here. I would recommend this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We chose this campground in part because of its proximity to Camping World and another RV store as we were having tire issues (the RV store does not do tire work? and were not very friendly). We liked this campground so much, we added a third night to our stay. The staff was very nice and really stayed on top of things. Very nice store, beautiful huge pool but a small playground. I can't believe it was hardly mentioned in previous posts, but it is close to the highway and was a bit noisy. We didn't mind though because of how nice everything else was and we had the A/C on anyway. Apparently the RV behind us needed more power and was plugged into our outlet which tripped the breaker. We called the office and they had someone to our site in about one minute to correct the issue. That is good customer service. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice, clean campground. Great location. It depended on who you spoke with in the office as to the friendliness of the office staff. One lady was super helpful and another was super rude on the phone while we were just trying to make a reservation. Don't think it was the owner so don't hold it against them. Take lots of quarters if you plan to use the laundromat as they are a little pricing on drying (.50 for 10 minutes). The site we stayed at was very unlevel (gravel). Stayed here for one week during CMA Music Fest. Great park and area if you are visiting Nashville. Its within 20 minutes of downtown and music row. We stayed for a week so we could see Nashville and the Grand Ole Opry. RV Park is located close to G-O-Opry, but 10 miles from town centre. Good shuttle service available. I've been tent camping many times, but this was my first overnight stay in my recently purchased travel trailer. The sites are very close together, but this can be expected in a RV park in the middle of a large town. The people in the office seemed friendly and helpful. I agree with most of the comments about this park. It is probably very nice during the warm and dry weather, but it was a swamp while we were here after a rain storm passed through. My electric box was surrounded by standing water as were many others. Lots of mud all around the sites. The park definitely needs more gravel. One other item, there are far too few 50 amp sites and no cable although antenna reception was very good. I believe they are over priced, but you pay the price to be close to Nashville. I paid $40 a night including tax for 30 amps with water and sewer and lots of mud around the site. Roads were paved. We came from J PERCY PRIEST campground just east of Nashville which is a Corp of Eng. park and the commercial parks could take a good lesson about how to have a nice park from this beautiful park. It had water on all sites and some 50 amp throughout the park, but no sewer. Huge sites with huge graveled patio area with fire pits. Stayed here for $10 on the Golden Age Passport. Also, Priest campground is on a huge lake. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We usually stay at this campground when we are in Nashville. Sites are level; staff is friendly and helpful, and the rates are lower than the other two campgrounds nearby. The pull-through sites are not 50amps, which I think is strange, for large motorhomes often need 50amps. However, we used 30amps in a back-in site the last couple of times and did fine. Very convenient if you need propane, as there is a dealership next door with a gate right into the campground. Also Camping World is very close. Entertainment on Wednesday and Sunday nights. I made reservations for this campground at nearly the last minute (one day prior) via the internet. I promptly received an email the following morning to notify me there were no 50 amp sites available, would I accept a 30 amp? I was pleased by this communication. I arrived after hours, and as promised my information was posted with excellent directions. The site was level with a concrete pad and picnic table. The hook ups were about 21 feet from the hookups on my rig, but I was prepared. I was amazed at how quiet this place was! At eight in the evening, there was not a soul outside! The ladies at the front desk were courteous and helpful, and the gift shop was huge. In this area, the campground didn't seem to be the destination for the campers rather the city was. It was odd, but extremely peaceful. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here with 14 year twin grandsons to see the Nashville sites. Wi-Fi was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful with information and directions to area sites. Several nights free singer next to pool which grand kids loved both singer and pool. Only negative was the Grey Lines Bus Depot next door. Diesel noise no problem as have one, but the beepers when backing up were annoying, but got used to them. According to staff the depot is going to be moved shortly. Sites 98 thru 115 are back in next to depot and are nice size with adequate space between units although with no shrubby to provide any privacy. We were in 109 and would recommend any of the sites along the depot side. Rest of back in are back to back. Pull thrus nice size. Definitely would go back and probably will without grand kids. Definitely take Tommie City and Home tour. Tommie is a hoot. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites were interesting - most can be either a pullthrough or 2 back-to-back backin sites. Ours was a pullthrough on the end of the row, at the back of the CG, definitely the place to be, away from the road noise. Two Rivers backs up to the Yogi, so we could see the other CG's sites through the fence. Two Rivers sites are graveled, interior CG roads paved. Sites are ok width for a private CG. Maintenance folks friendly, office folks were rather gruff - maybe they had a bad day. Bathhouse & laundry clean. The entire park is old & needs updating - electric post had no breaker, as noted previously, our water hookup had a pump handle and the tube spun around in place; both had been run into & were leaning at odd angles. Noticed others' looked similar. Wifi might as well not exist; Two Rivers' Wifi is 802.11b, which is outdated, and so slow that our computer just timed out before we could even connect. I suspect the Yogi people have problems because theirs is updated, faster & probably gets tapped into by campers at Two Rivers! We did enjoy the shade - lots of big trees in Two Rivers, but not so much as to interfere with large rigs. Rain left puddles but little mud. Convenient location to the main roads & sights, but since all 3 of the big private CGs are located virtually next to each other (Camping World & tour bus co in between), that can be said of the KOA & Yogi too. Two Rivers costs a bit less than the other two, but you get a bit less (no cable and unusable Wifi) so it's a wash. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Campground had a weekly rate that with our Good Sam discount was $255. When we made our reservations, we were told that they had a site large enough for our big rig. The site we were given was not accommodating to our 38 foot 4 slide fifth wheel. It was a back in site that was long enough but was so narrow that we could not back all of the way in or we would not have been able to open one of our slide outs. Because we had to pull up a little we had a tree that blocked us being able to open our awning. The concrete picnic table and benches were not comfortable to sit on or use. The next RV was 10 feet away so there was no real area to sit outside. There is a big camp store, and the staff was very friendly. We probably will not use this campground again, when visiting the area, unless we are forced to. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here in a 40 ft motor home and were disappointed with the accommodations. The lots are small and narrow. Tight fit to navigate large RVs into the back-in spots. No cable. Also, there is a tour bus parking lot next to the campground that has buses continually backing in and out "beeping" the entire time - day and night. It is annoying. Wow--I read other reviews of this campground on trip advisor and I'm confused! We stayed here in May 2009. We were 2 large motorhomes (36ft) towing cars. We spent our first night in Memphis on our way to Nashville. We didn't have reservations for Two Rivers because we decided at the last minute to go on to Nashville. We had no Internet service at the campground in Memphis but I remembered seeing this campground online before we left home and found it in my GPS. I got the number and made two reservations that same morning (with no problem). We were extremely satisfied with everything! The location is the best! The staff as well as the maintenance man was sooo helpful! The price was great for 50amp service, free Internet access, clean bathhouses and laundry, and we were able to get great tickets at the campground with great seating for everything we went there to see. We felt safe and the park was very quiet which was important to us. This is not an RV "resort". It is just a nice clean campground to stay while seeing Nashville. We would stay here again and please don't let the other reviews scare you away from Two Rivers. We highly recommend this place!! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed here overnight enroute to Texas. Although it was very close to Opryland and right next door to Camping World, I thought the rates were excessive. We are from the east coast where rates are among the highest in the country and this campground definitely did not offer $45.00 worth of amenities. Our sewer was very far from our outlet and was difficult to drain without constantly lifting the hose to drain. No electrical breaker on the electric box. The campground seems old and in need of updating. In addition, they had received a lot of rain and our site was one large mud hole. When we unhooked our RV, the truck was parked in a very large ponding of water/mud. The concrete patios were raised 2" or more above grade and this posed a potential danger to the elderly or handicapped. We would stay again but would not recommend it as a destination spot. The staff were very friendly and wi-fi was sufficient. No cable which we found difficult to understand as it was not rurally located but near very busy areas. Horrible interior roads!! Wake up Two Rivers, you have Yogi Bear Jellystone on one side of you and KOA on the other side. Improvements badly needed! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We were here for four nights and had a very small,unlevel site that flooded when it rained. The park is just off a busy highway, but the road noise was not bad. The beeping of the tour buses next door did interfere with our sleep, however. Having said that, the people at the desk were very nice, and the Wi-Fi worked fine. The site was sufficient for our 40' motor home, and we had no problem leveling the coach. Parking for the tow vehicle was quite tight. A good location not too far from all the Nashville sites and just down the road from Opryland and the Grand Ole Opry itself. The campground has an arrangement with a local shuttle service that provides round-trip service to virtually anywhere in the area for $5 per person. We found the location to be very quiet and the hosts responsible and friendly. We had a little difficulty trying to get our 24' B+ leveled on our site (gravel), but got it close enough. While we tried to take advantage of the cable hook-up, we got better reception through our roof-top antenna, with quite a few digital broadcasts in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is in a good location, close to Nashville attractions like the Grand Ole Opry. The sites were spacious enough. It was early winter, so we did not seek out opportunities to bike, swim, etc, and so cannot comment on that. While we stayed here, there was a rash of burglaries in motorhomes in this park, and in two other neighboring parks. Those who were victims of the crime spree suffered significant losses and some had damage to their motorhomes. The management and staff in the park seemed totally unconcerned! While not at fault, certainly, some effort on the owners part to show support, sympathy, or a willingness to support our impromptu "neighborhood watch" program would have been expected and appreciated. I overheard one staffer telling someone who'd been a victim of the crime that "it wasn't my [the staffer's] problem". A disappointing response, to be sure! We would not stay there again. The interesting part about this park is that it shares a fence with the other two parks in the area, Yogi Bear and KOA. So there is not a lot of difference in the parks or where you stay. The park is in average condition with gravel sites. There are a few downsides to this park. The freeway is very close and is a constant noise. But worse than that is the "Gray Line" bus lot next door. There is a constant noise of beeping back up warning buzzers as buses are moved around the lot at all hours. Seriously, we were awakened several times during the nights at 2 and 3 in the morning. When we commented to the office about it, the response was that most people don't complain unless they are on the fence line next to the bus lot. We were in the middle of the park, but that is only 40 yards farther from the buses. Leaves had fallen from the trees and no effort was ever made to clean the sites. We were there for a week. Due to the bus lot we would not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park and well kept. They had entertainment one night that was free and as good as any expensive show. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The only reason I rated this park a 7 is there is no cable and all the hookups are at the back of the site, requiring a very long sewer hose, water hose, and electric cord. I used the dump station as a lot of others did. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice campground, we were here over Labor Day weekend, which also included a nice "customer appreciation" Sunday (today). They had free lunch for campers, and a couple of performances by really good bands/singers. A nice touch. Everything is clean, and it's well staffed, no shortage of folks to help. The sites are level and hookups work well. The pool area was well maintained, and a nice bonus for the kids. A couple of annoyances, but nothing to complain home about. The wifi is pretty sketchy. I ended up on the verizon card again as I couldn't keep a signal and connection. I'm not that far from the front. The CG uses a central breaker box system, so if you blow the breaker, you go in search of the right one. My site was in the maint room, which requires staff to turn it back on. In my case, I did throw my TT breaker, so it wasn't a big deal, but if the breaker pops in the middle of the night and it's 90 degrees, could be a long night. Again, not a show stopper. I would really recommend the campground. Very family friendly, and there are lots of pooches around. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Good location for access to Grand Ole Opry but some road noise from Briley Parkway which is a 6-lane, 55-mph road. Free, in-park entertainment, two nights per week is a nice touch. I had a pull-through which was water/electric only. Site was reasonably level. We've stayed here before and will stay again but my biggest gripe with this park is that the electric hookups do not have circuit breakers. The park WiFi was mostly not working the night I was there and for the cost cable TV should be included but none of the parks on Music Valley Drive offer cable TV. The rate I paid was $34 after the 10% Good Sam discount and taxes. This park is a good bargain compared to the KOA and Jellystone Park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for three nights and found it a very pleasant park. It is located two miles from Oprey Mills Mall and the Grand Ole Oprey. A shuttle is available (fee) to take you to the mall or to downtown locations. We tried it and it was very efficient. During the summer the campground has free entertainment on several evenings a week. Unfortunately our first night was cancelled because of bad weather but we did catch the C&W music the following evening. It is also located adjacent to a dinner/show theater, the Nashville Nightlife. A concierge can help you get the tickets you need. The sites are rather close together but are adequate. Gravel sites. Would definitely use the campground again when visiting Nashville. Nice place but we were not as high on it as some of the other reviewers I have seen. We stayed for a week and visited the sights in Music City. Our biggest complaint would be the road noise since it is right off the freeway and we also had extremely low water pressure during our stay. It was so low we just had to fill our tank and use the pump. The staff said they were working on it but it was never fixed while we were there. Great location and friendly staff though. We would probably try one of the other nearby RV parks next time. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This a good campground to stay in while visiting Nashville. There are tours that can be taken from the CG, tickets for other attractions are also available. Campground maybe a little small but access to the sites is very easy (37' MH). Bathhouse has some age on it but is really clean (everything worked well). This won't be our last trip here. I suggest making a 5 minute walk to the "Cock of the Walk" if you really enjoy catfish. Camping World is also next door. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A decent place with relatively easy access to many of Nashville's attractions/clubs. Not sure why anyone pays the additional $$$ to stay at the nearby KOA or Jellystone, as this place has it all. Wi-Fi worked very well, laundry was only $1, staff was very pleasant and responsive to our complaints about barking dogs in adjacent campsites. There was a problem with water pressure while we were there, but the staff was working on it and assured us that it was unusual. In terms of attractions, the Opry is 5 minutes away (as is the huge Opry Mills Mall with a 20-something plex theater), the Hermitage about 20 minutes, DT Nashville 20 minutes. Many eating options in the nearby area and Camping World is next door. We'd surely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice campground located directly across the street from Opryland and the Grand Ole Opry House; it is about 9 miles from downtown Nashville, the Ryman and the Country Music Hall of Fame. It is located next to the highway which provides easy access, but also creates some road noise. The staff was very hospitable and pleasant. We were able to get great reception of local channels with our antenna and digital TV. The campground is small and 50amp, pull through sites are limited. However, the back-in sites were ample size and from what I could tell all sites had concrete patios and tables. If you have the unfortunate need for a veterinarian while visiting, we highly recommend Dr. John Robison at the Mobley Veterinary Clinic. Music Valley Drive has several nice restaurants; don't leave without trying Caney's Fish Camp. You won't be disappointed! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely camp here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Overall, this is a good park with proximity to the Opry. The price is the best of the 3 parks on Music Valley Drive. It is a Good Sam park, but you do not get that discount on a weekly (the price shown reflects a weekly rate). I did go over to Jellystone, and their weekly rate is almost $100 higher per week. When I made my reservation a month in advance, they asked if I wanted a satellite site, and I told them that I did. They asked where my dish was on the motorhome, so that they could get me in a good spot. I thought this consideration was great, but the actual site I was given was in the trees, towards the back of the park. No signal, no matter how I moved the coach. They would not move me to another site. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an average campground that is close to Opryland, Grand Ole Opry, and Opry Mills Shopping Center. The restrooms were outdated but fairly clean as was the amenities for the campground such as power and water. The sites are gravel with a small concrete patio and a concrete table and benches. It had rained a lot so there was a fair amount of standing water. There was a shuttle that took you to the attractions and the people at the front desk were courteous and helpful. It was near a major road, but we did not hear any noise from the road. There is a Camping World and another camper dealer next to the property. They separated the long term residents from the shorter stay campers. It seemed to be the best and most affordable of the 3 campgrounds in the area. They take Good Sam. This is a nice CG very centrally located in Nashville. Camping World is within walking distance. The sites are roomy and the staff was friendly. There was a minor problem with the sewage line backing up but the owner was on site and took prompt action getting it resolved. There was about an 8 hour period where we could not dump. This was a nice park with extremely friendly, helpful staff. The sites had level, gravel RV pads, and a great concrete patio with picnic table. The utilities were in good shape and were well positioned on the site. There was no cable TV but the reception on the Nashville TV stations was adequate for news, weather etc. There was plenty of grass between the sites and a nice amount of shade. The sites were a bit close, but still plenty of room and I had no problems backing in my 33’ fifth wheel. The restrooms were clean and air conditioned. The pool was very nice and stayed open at least until 9 pm. There was live country music on the patio near the pool that was fun and entertaining. This park is in a great location, right next door to Camping World, and just down the street from the Grand Ole Opry. We highly recommend this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean and well maintained park conveniently located only two miles from the Opry Mills mall, General Jackson showboat and the Grand Ole Opry, and only 15 minutes or so from the downtown attractions. The pool was one of the cleanest I have seen anywhere. Sites are almost all good size although a few of the pull throughs were kind of small. The staff and owners were all extremely helpful and friendly. Discount tickets for several area attractions available through the campground office as well as area tours that will pick you up at the campground. If you go, we recommend Tommy's Tours. All pet owners did a good job cleaning up after their pets while we were staying there. I would recommend this campground and we are going to stay there next year. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I have stayed here many times but this by far was the most unpleasant, arriving at site we found dog poop all around the picnic table and patio, I cleaned it up and overlooked the issue until an employee came by in a golf cart at 7:45 AM on Sunday while I sat outside enjoying the morning, she quickly realized I was outside and skidded to a stop, backed up and approached me, asking if anyone contacted me the night before. I answered no, she explained to me that because I was staying from March 30th - April 1st that they failed to charge the the peak season rate for the one night of April 1st, she rudely said that I needed to come to the office to set there books right and I owe $8.00 more for their mistake. I said "OK later I would", then she asked me if I had $8.00 on me at that moment. 1, I didn't as I was still in my morning shorts and T shirt and 2 why would I hand $8.00 to just any employee, how I would know that she wouldn't just pocket the money, I feel its the CG's mistake they should fix it. I left with no further contact and no payment of the $8.00. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here over Thankgiving. The campground is fine, but the sites are all backins. Several sites overlook the RV dealership next door so there is little privacy. WiFi access was free and was fine. Our only real complaint about the CG is that we were due to change sites for our last night - which we had agreed to. Staff came and told us the new site number at 9am and said the site was ready for us. At 10.40am we drove the car and RV around the CG to find the previous nights campers still there, so it was embarrassing for us to have to sit there and wait for them to leave and obviously annoying for them to feel they were being forced out. The KOA and Jellystone are both within 2 minutes walk from this CG - Jellystone did look a nicer CG, but is probably a lot more $$. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Bus noise not a problem when you are running your AC most of the time! Very shady with large trees. Thought this would be a great time to clean my roof, recondition it and wash the RV. Well, you can do it here but you either pay the park $25 (!) for the courtesy or use their recommended RV wash service (believe there is some kickback to the owner going on!) We stay here so often, it feels like a second home. It is an aging RV park, but kept very clean. The staff is very friendly and does a good job of remembering customer who frequent the park. Of the three on Music Valley road, this is our favorite. I had to subtract two points for mostly back in sites and the noise from the bus barn beside the park. One of 3 RV parks on Music City Blvd. I like this park better than the KOA down the road. Sites (except for the 2 pull thru's I saw) are on the small side. Roads are wide so the back in sites are easy to get into. I had to park my truck across the front of the site to be off the road. 12 of the sies have 50 amp service. Two Rivers provides great entertainment on weekends, up in the pool area. All of the employees are as nice as you will find in the country, very accommodating. Spent 3 nights at Two Rivers, W/E, used their dump statin on departure. Park is quiet and well maintained. All sites are gravel with picnic table and benches, grass, and many are shaded. The staff was friendly, the pool extremely clean and well kept.
We were there from 31 July through 2 Aug. Camping World store is less than a block away and RV maint. services next door. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Close to Opryland. Very quite, clean and well maintained. Everyone we met was pleasent. We arranged for ticket to the Grand Ole Opry and shuttle ride to/from it through the staff. Not a single problem. Camping World a short walk one way, and a large RV dealer the other way. Their staff was also friendly as we looked at all the rigs they had there. We will return! We camped here in a Motorhome.

What a wonderful park! The most cordial front desk personnel in Nashville. We've been to all three on Music Valley and by far this one is the nicest park. Sites are about 30 feet wide and about 55 or 60 feet long (they have short ones for smaller units). No cable but they get local channels and LOAN movies! Free coffee, tea and cocoa all day and live entertainment during warm weather. This is an older park but is very well taken care of and you feel like family when you stay. Close to opry mills and the Grand Ole Opry and downtown Nashville. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We read the reviews and wouldn't have stayed, but we had to use up a deposit from last year they wouldn't refund. It had rained and the park and sites were muddy. The office staff was unfriendly when we tried to get information about the city. We would never stay here again because of the rate and sites. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I called and left a message on Sun, Nov 13 requesting a reservation. On Mon, Nov 14 I called and left a message for someone to call me. I called 2 other times and got the same recording, so I hung up. Apparently, because they did not answer their phone or return my calls, they did not need my business, so I went to their competition. Needless to say I am very disappointed in their customer service as a Good Sam Park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is not the worst campground we have stayed at but it is in the top ten. We had a gravel pull-thru site that had Christmas light wires hanging from the trees and wires/cable laying on the ground. It was muddy after it rained and the grass had not been mowed in a while. The grass was at least 8 inches high. We stayed here for 6 days. Very overpriced! We will not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rest rooms and showers very nice. I had an overall good experience however I arrived late after they closed. They have designated spots for late arrival. Their marquee stated fall rate $30; also that was what I saw on the web site. I was unaware that the spot I selected was $45 for full hook up. There was nothing in the instructions that stated price variance. This was the only spot with electric that was available. Being in an Aliner, I only needed water and electric. When I checked in the next morning I questioned the lady regarding the rate. She laughed and said sorry you didn't select the $30 spot. I explained to her there were not $30 spots and the instructions did not explain price variance. I asked if I could move or would she adjust the rate since I was going to be there two days. "No, just got to pay the extra". There are two other campgrounds next door. I will try them next. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Conveniently located to downtown Nashville (approx. 15 min) and right across from Opryland. Very quiet where we stayed (site 433) since there was plenty of open land around us. Felt the prices were high compared to many others where we stayed in other places, but then it's Nashville and we love that City. Only drawbacks: no Wi-Fi for a couple of days and the ladies at the office were not very responsive to phone messages and because of the flood last year, our electricity connection went bad and our coach was over 90 degrees when we returned from sightseeing. The maintenance men got there immediately though and took care of replacing the damaged connection. We camped here in a Motorhome.

It is a large park that is convent to the Opry and other attractions. It is about a 20 minute drive to downtown. We have a level pull through with plenty of shade. The park is geared for families with plenty to do for the kids. The staff is very friendly and offered a lot of help in the best ways to see the sites. Cell phone and Wi-Fi service is good. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a decent park. The office staff was very accommodating. Check out time was noon, but they said, don't worry if you have things to do or see, just stay later if you wish. The sites were kind of tight but at a good angle, so pull throughs were very easy to navigate. Good power. Good internet. They picked up garbage throughout the day at your site. Lots of area to walk and run the dog. Based on the review, sounds like a wonderful place. I would have scored it better but it is priced way to high. But they can, because of location, location location and the other two parks nearby charge the same or more. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I stayed here on a monthly rate for 2 months April and May 2010, during the floods. I have to differ with other comments. The office was extremely friendly, the owners are delightful! Even the maintenance crew was friendly. The park is well groomed, the pool and restrooms were sparkling. During the floods, I was able to move to higher ground in the park, but I pulled out for a day managing to get around the road closures. I came back the next day when the city confirmed the dam would not be opened and make that location worse. The other two parks, closer to the river were destroyed by the flood. They are now back up and running! I would stay here again! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Now let's be fair. This entire campground was almost completely flooded away in 2009, along with most of this part of Nashville. They have started their comeback well here. Night check-in was a breeze: pick a spot from the cards in rack showing avail sites. Check in the next morning, great office staff, sweet! Roads were reasonable, pea gravel, wide turns, one-ways, no problems. My site was barely long enough for our 36' rig and jeep toad. Fairly easy to level with jacks, but I saw lots of travel trailers with several planks under tires. My site had a freeze-proof spigot, fire-ring, picnic table, and cable TV. The whole bathhouse (only one open this time of year) was clean, bright, and warm. I think this is the only campground shower I've ever used that had ceramic tile on the ceiling! I used the handicapped shower unit (before 6am, not many people here in January) and it was huge, at least 6ft square. The other showers were much much smaller. Wi-Fi included security code from office, was difficult to access initially (had to turn off virus program and firewall at first) but after getting in it worked flawless, and was very QUICK! (54 Mbps right now). We usually stay next door, but stopped here due to the "winter specials" sign out front which is how we got a $30 rate for 30 amp (50 amp was $45 and you HAVE to go the way you rig is factory wired, no pigtails or adapters allowed here). Can't speak for all amenities because we were here in the winter, but overall this looks like a good choice (especially at the $30 rate) and from the looks of the work going on in the place, it will only continue to improve as it and all the other camps here recover from the devastating flood. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The sites are approximately 60 feet long so most of the RVs over 35 feet have to park their vehicles sideways which makes the roads look narrow and congested, but there is plenty of room for RVs to enter and exit. The Wi-Fi was very good. They had closed half of the park and set up a Xmas light show which apparently interfered with our Verizon air card because it worked the first day when the lights were not set up, but our signal would come and go continually after that. We tried to figure out what the "front" part of the park was as mentioned by a previous poster but never could. We were back from the entrance but towards the front near the office, and there were other 40 foot RVs there and throughout the park. We had good satellite reception even with the trees. The water pressure was very low. Our site was level, power was good, and it was easy to get into and out of. On the Halloween weekend they had activities for the children. We did not find the 5 minute drive back out to TN 155 a problem and never heard highway noise where we were. We were surprised that the lady next door put out a drying rack one day with laundry on it but it was taken down that night. The laundry room was clean, and the washers and dryers worked well. The park now has cable. We would stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Expensive camp ground but price is consistent with the two other campgrounds in the area. Easy access off the freeway and close to OPRY and other attractions in the Nashville area. The staff was extremely helpful with acquiring tickets to the Opry and other events in the area including a shuttle to the events. Park is clean and well maintained. Gravel interior roads and level gravel sites. Good cable and Wi-Fi. Pet friendly. Lots of trees and grass areas with average space between rigs. Would stay here again if in the Nashville area. This park is overpriced unless you have kids. For big rigs, they put you in the back where there is no Wi-Fi or satellite, due to the large trees. The front portion of the park has long term people, who hang their laundry outside for days at a time. The OPRY is closed for the year, due to flooding, but other shows are here. There are alot of other activities/sights are worth seeing. We camped here in a Motorhome.

GREAT location - and they have a captive audience, so it's expensive; which is part of the reason we're giving a 6. The other reasons are: For the price, the sites should be paved. The sites don't have enough gravel, so our site was really muddy because it rained every day. There are amenities here that we don't use and don't like paying for. The staff was friendly enough at check-in; but when I called with an issue after hours, they never called back. Super location - close to everything you could want to do in Nashville! Quiet even though it's close to the freeway. The wifi was great. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park was wonderful! It's kid friendly, clean, has spacious sites, trees, helpful staff, two playgrounds, activities with Yogi, nice laundry facility for fast washing, and is close to Nashville! Very nice park but overpriced! Almost all sites are pull-through although you really can't keep the toad connected. Good place to take in Nashville. Has friendly staff, and a well supplied store. Would give it a 10, but the price gives it a 9. Has some spots for satellite. It's kid friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very clean RV park. Wi-Fi was very strong and never had a problem with connection. The staff was very helpful. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Rate reflects the "winter" rates plus discounts for FMCA. A bit overpriced for what you get, but so are the other campgrounds in Nashville. Good entrance road, gravel interior roads and sites. Access OK for big rigs. Most sites are not roof top satellite friendly because of the trees. Most sites are short; therefore, tow must be disconnected and then parked across the front of the site. Friendly and helpful staff. Make sure to check their rules about no refunds, before before you make reservations. Try the Cock of the Walk for their excellent fried catfish and Bob Evans for breakfast. Forget Shoney's. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very clean well maintained park. Reception is friendly and the staff helpful. Almost all sites are pull-through and large. We travel with a 36' fiver and were accommodated easily. The rate reflects Good Sam discount, but if you want to be within 5 minutes of the Grand Ole Opry, and other attractions this is a great spot. The place was about 1/3 full, so we had the pick of sites since it rained the day we got here - some of the sites had a couple of puddles of water. People are very nice and helpful. Wi-Fi is the best I've ever had at a park. It very easy access, and there is a little highway noise but not bad. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Excellent facility from the campground entrance to the site itself. The pull-through sites are quite spacious and fairly private. The foliage is ample and attractive but has no limbs or branches in the way of the RV. We had no problem with our 40' coach and 4 slides. The entire staff is very accommodating and friendly. There is ample space to unhook your tow vehicle in the resort office parking area. Insects are not a problem. We have visited other parks with a rate of $50+ daily and not any compare to this very nice resort. Check with the staff to find out about various club discounts. If in the area again, we will definitely camp here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice place. The kids (9,10,11) loved it. Very clean showers and restrooms. Friendly staff, free mini-golf and shuffleboard. The pool was huge compared to most campgrounds. In addition, the location was excellent as it was just down the road to Grand Ole Opry and museum. The only caution is that the water is very high pressure and requires a special valve to hook up to the city water. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park was very, very nice. The staff was extremely helpful; the park was extremely clean. As for not seeing any families or children; we were just at the park and saw plenty of families and children. This park has a program that caters to families and children, but the park is big enough that you don't feel bothered by the noise if you don't want to be. As for the size of the sites being small. Again, I totally disagree with that review. Almost every site in the park is 60' long and all of them are 30' wide; just like their advertising says. We have a very large fifth wheel that is 38' long with 3 large slides plus our tow vehicle and we had plenty of room on our site. We also saw plenty of other larger fifth wheels and motor homes that ranges from 35'- 40' and they had plenty of room too. And ALL sites are pull-through making it wonderfully easy to get in and out of the sites and around the park. I think anyone traveling to Nashville should seriously make up their own mind about this park and it's staff by staying with them. You won't be disappointed. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is pretty, but pull throughs are small, and not enough room for parking tow car behind or in front without blocking road. WiFi worked first day, the next 2 it very seldom worked. Manager was aware of WiFi complaints and is working on it but the same complaint was issued in November 2008. Fire rings set up by staff but down wind could be a problem and at this price don't think you should have to endure this. Doubt we will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I stayed in park for 10 months. I worked in Nashville and the location to my work was great compared to other commuters traveling downtown. However, the drive just to get to the main road was 10 - 12 minutes depending on traffic and traffic lights. The area is nice with all the restaurants to choose from and other entertainment. I guess for a tourist that would not mind spending big bucks to be close to Opryland and other cool entertainment it would have been fine. I did not see many families there at all. I guess it was to expensive. Rating on price is a 1. Way too expensive. For a monthly traveler I had to pay electric plus site rent. Average price per month was $700 - $800. The daily staff was very helpful and kind but some were just a little snobbish. The park manager, she was called CEO, I guess that meant Camping Executive Office was very rude and I saw her talk down to most folks she came in contact with. The big reason I found another RV park to live was not the price, nor the staff, nor the location, but this park was in violation of state law. The Tennessee law states that anyone residing in a campground for over 90 days would be exempt of sales tax. In my case that was around $45 per month. When I approach the CEO with the details of the law and requested a refund for the overcharge in sales, wow, you would have thought I was asking for a million dollar refund. I made reference to other campgrounds that followed the law and the CEO said the law did not apply to them. I did not understand this so I spoke with a Dept of Revenue sales tax staff member and I was told, yes the law did apply. I asked again for a refund and the CEO went ballistic. I gave her the contact information of the Tennessee Sales Tax department person I spoke with and the CEO said she was not calling anyone and I could move out. In fact she threatened me and I told me since her park was private property, she would decide who stayed and could not stay. Well, I moved out two days later. I found a wonderful park east of Nashville that does not charge sales tax to monthly guests and totally understands the law. Finally, the sales tax department may launch a sales tax audit to see if the money collected was actually paid to state properly. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park was not crowded while we were there. If it had been I would have given a 2. I paid less to stay on the beach in Malibu during August than I did here in November (surely snowbirds head further south because we still got daily reminders to unhook water because of freezing temperatures. Wifi was advertised but never worked the two weeks we were there and we were right next to the antenna. Various people (nonpark affiliated) came and looked at the antenna throughout the two weeks but never got it going. Also no cable for this price. Some sites get satellite reception and the staff was good at picking out those sites for me. I originally picked this campground for location to downtown. It is nestled next to a river but this only causes long drives around the river with no view of it. After driving at least a half mile to get out of the park from our spot in the back and at least another mile and a half down an almost dead end access road it took us about 5-10 minutes just to get to the highway. We left and found a great park that was only 5 minutes further from downtown and closer to better shopping (Mills malls are nicely decorated but lack department stores). We camped here in a Motorhome.

We used this as a stop over spot. his is a nice campground, in a good area of town. This would be a great campground for families visiting the area. There were lots of safe looking activities for the kids on site. Miniature golf and playground on site. It is just down the street from many restaurants and Camping World. We felt this campground was overpriced, but it was well packed, so they must be doing something right. We believe that it might be because of it being inside the city and so close to attractions. The staff was nice and helpful. We would stop here again if we didn't have reservations already made at a more reasonably priced location. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We were extreemly disappointed in this campground. We stayed there as it is in Nashville and that is about the only good thing it has going. We are Yogi bear fans and He came out only once in two days. My 3 y.o kept on asking where is yogi? The staff also allows there friends to come and visit. Stayed here a week, the staff and park were very nice. Sites were big enough and the shade trees were welcome. The close proximity to all attractions makes this a sought after location. The only downside was what I considered extremely high rates, however the other parks in the area may have been the same. I guess this whole area is just overpriced. This is a nice park, friendly check-in. The spaces are a little close together for a 40' RV. The sites are grass/dirt. When we left in the morning, we had to wait a few minutes for the neighbor to move out as the driveway wasn't big enough to get around his truck and 5th wheel. This is a quiet park, close to the Gaylord Opryland area and there are good restaurants nearby, as well as easy on and off the freeway. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Easy to pull in/out. Very helpful employees. The store didn't have a lot of stuff though. After a storm one night all the employees were cleaning up first thing the next morning - I liked that. Campground was neat and clean. Nice-sized L-shaped pool and free mini-golf. Close to Camping World, Opry Mills Mall, restaurants and other shopping. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Over Priced !!! No cable, expensive WiFi, all gravel, standing water after rains, no security (I drove in three time before registering without any problem), about one third of campground is used by RV dealership for unit storage.. The campground had good shade and a lot of amenities but expensive. If it were not close to the Opry I would not consider staying there. The campground next door is somewhat better. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stopped here because it was the first park we came to after getting off Briley Parkway. Also, the book said they had cable because we wanted to watch the Nascar race the next day. They told us NO CABLE anymore. Friendly and helpful office staff. Stayed 3 nights. Modern bathrooms and laundry facilities. Bathrooms - tiled and clean. Hot showers. Easy drive thru spots. Shade trees. Picnic table. Lots of places to walk for exercise. Sylvia, one of the office workers, was very helpful in directing us to the downtown area of Nashville. Enjoyed the Country Hall of Fame and the honkytonk, Tootsies. The basketball playoffs were going on when we were there so it was crowded. The Oprey was ok. We loved the Gray Line bus tour of the homes of the stars just because we could sit back and relax and enjoy the countryside of Nashville. The rv park was close to Cracker Barrel for breakfast plus other restaurants. Close to Camping World and many other places, too. After we got home, as I was reading the above comments I thought maybe they need to tighten up their security. We noticed while we were there, vehicles driving in that weren't staying there to use the showers and bathrooms during the wee morning hours. We would probably stay there again but not before trying the other rv parks out in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Large size shaded sites. Interior roads are wide and easy to maneuver. Pool is also a nice size. Nightly entertainment. Plenty of area available to walk and exercise your pet. Staff was very friendly when we were there 3rd week of July, 2005. We have camped there before and will go there again whenever we are in Nashville. The only complaint is at $37/per night cable tv should be available. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed in this park since 1989 in its previous carnation as a Trav-L-Park. It has been going downhill for a number of years and this latest move to a Jellystone does nothing to improve it. In fact, the focus on kids activites and facilites makes it much less desirable. Will probably avoid Nashville and use Manchester KOA as stopping point when heading south from now on. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Sadly, we had a terrible experience here. As of April 2005 there was no park security, although their ad in the Trailer Life Campground Directory states that there is. Our motorhome was broken into at 10:00 am while we were at the grocery store. Our safe was destroyed and all of our jewelry and cash was stolen. We used our keyless entry system to lock our coach. IT WASNT ENOUGH. Someone in the area has a masterkey to coaches that lock this way. If you have a deadbolt on your unit - ALWAYS USE IT. Unfortunately no one who works at the campground and no one staying there saw anything. There is a motorhome dealership who works on coaches right there in the park - they didnt see or hear anything either. There is a company on-site that cleans and details coaches - apparently they didnt see anything either. We do not recommend anyone stay at any campground located on Music Valley Drive. Ours was the first private coach broken into, but there are a couple of Motorhome dealers located on this street. They have also had break-ins. Besides losing wedding bands and sentimental items that took years of hard work to acquire, our home and personal space has been violated. The campground has liability insurance, however according to the agent, it's only for gross negligence. So much for insurance. Our nightly fees were refunded. yippee. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park has easy access to Opryland Hotel and Opry Mills Mall. The sites are all pull-through, but some are rather small. We had room for our slide-outs, but it had been raining and the sites were very muddy. The bathrooms were clean, and they have added Wi-Fi. The reason for the 7 is the muddiness of the sites. They would have a much nicer campground if they would pave the sites and add a concrete pad for the picnic table. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

At one time the park was probably an excellent RV park. But it is now showing it's age and
in need of numerous repairs. Although we paid for cable, reception was better using the rigs antenna. But it is close to most of the attractions and is adequate for a couple of days stay.. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed there twice, both times in 2003, in a 40 foot Motor Home. This is a nice clean park, although the sites are not as wide and as long (pull thru) as we would like, we could easily open all three of our slides. Both times they had live entertainment ... country stars either on the way up, or on the way down. Not fancy but we would not hesitate to stay again. Hate those speed bumps. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Not a bad park and yes it is convenient but they are pricing themselves right out of business. With tax this park is over $40. Way too much for what you get. The sites are rather muddy in rainy weather and the staff is not made up of RV'ers so you have to be very specific about what your needs are as far as sites go. We camped here in a camper.
