Very nice level park. It is all gravel with grass patio areas, but not dusty at all. Pool and park are decent. Only complaint is that it is directly across from a helicopter tour company, but you get used to them. It's up away from the action...but also away from the traffic. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Cable was not working well. Got more stations on antennae. Wireless not working well. Had to move site and then took a couple of days for them to reboot system We camped here in a Motorhome.
Clean and pleasant with level sites. Short drive to Pigeon Forge, etc.,and out of the worst of the traffic. Campground was having a problem with cable. Limited channels. Could do without the U-turn leaving. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Sites real nice and level.Staff nice and friendly. Bath house and rest rooms located up hill across from office they where all pretty clean but a long walk from the campsites. Wifi signal great, pool all ready closed. Awful entrance coming from Sevierville, had to go pass the campground and make a u turn, when we left we needed to go to 1-40, so had to go right and make a u turn, no crossover, really bad. The campground is located to far away from any main attractions if you want to go to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the National park. It's a terrible drive, just to far and the traffic is terrible. If you want to go to the Smokey Mts and just relax and not do nothing it would be a nice place to stay. From what I saw, the store was stocked with a limited supply of merchandise. I can not recommend staying here if you want to go to Dollywood or any shows, etc, as the drive will get you. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is our 2nd time at Ripplin Waters. We truly enjoy this campground. Mostly because you do not have to deal with the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg traffic just to get to your campground. We used to stay in Pigeon Forge but have decided we prefer Ripplin Waters. We have learned some backroads to get into town when we want and it is must easier to drive without a trailer when picking some of the less traveled roads. The only thing that I would say is bad is the left turn when you are leaving and needing to go back to I-40. You have to go right and make a U-Turn. But my husband says that is not a problem for him, after all he is driving. Park is clean and even though there are some children, it is still quiet. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very nice park, friendly, helpful staff. Sites were all clean and nicely landscaped, most are average size for a commercial campground. Restrooms and showers were very clean but are located across from campground office and store and are a good walk from most camp sites. Wifi available but I don't know how well it works since I don't have a need for it. Some seasonal campers in park but all sites were well kept with no junk etc. Very good park if you want to stay out of the worst of the crowds in the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area. Be warned, if you stay on a peak weekend, the drive into these area may take an hour or more because of heavy traffic. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a wonderful park away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but still close enough to everything. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and professional. All sites are well maintained. We chose a pull through site near the office and convention center("CC" site) which was spacious - there are only 4 of these type spaces so book early! CC sites offer a concrete patio and landscaping and front a large grassy field yet they are very convenient to the pools and facilities. They offer more "peace and quiet" than the other sites on busy weekends. There are plenty of sites that can accomodate 45 footers and we recommend the CC or the newer back area where there are few trees to obstruct satellite reception. If you like trees, don't worry - they have plenty of cable channels, too. There are also cabins with/without kitchens. The only reason we rate this facility "9" is that most of the roads and sites are gravel (premium and the CC sites are paved as is the entrance and check in area). So, don't let our rating discourage you. This place is a gem!!! We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a nice campground and centrally located. The only problem I have is the dust. On dry days they will run water trucks to help out against the dust. Each day our cars & motorhomes were covered with dust I also noticed that all campers doesn't pay the same rates. There was 4 campers in our party and we camped together but each one of us paid a different price, I don't understand that. We don't plan on returning We camped here in a Motorhome.
Still one the best campgrounds around the area despite all the negativity from other campers. I love the one about the lady crying about her mutt not being allowed to be caged during freezing temperatures, makes sense to me........NOT. Enjoy whats there or leave. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park has the potential to be a excellent campground if only a little more effort would be put into it. First of all their on-line registration apparently doesn't work well all the time. I made reservations about a month and a half early online but they apparently "didn't take". Just happened to call a week ahead of time to confirm and they had no record of our online reservation (even though I was sent an email). Per the staff member who answered the phone, "the computer registration hasn't worked right since I started here." Luckily they did have a site available. We camped here during "Spring Break" and it seemed to be very busy...I'm not sure why the store was not stocked very well. In the playground and horseshoe pit areas the ground needs to be fixed so you don't have large holes in the ground. Again, little things make a difference and are not hard to fix. As someone else mentioned, there are a lot of permanent sites but they are well maintained. But they need to keep in mind that if they have too many permanent sites is it really a campground or a mobile home park?? Regarding their rules - the only one that I saw being enforced this week was the 7 mph speed limit. Other rules like washing campers and bringing in firewood from out of state seemed to go unnoticed or they didn't care. The river is very pretty; however, there is a concrete company on the other side of the river that it seems to me the county should regulate and make them clean up (trash and wood palates, etc. are falling in the river). We did drive around to quite a few other campgrounds in the area and most were not very desirable. Seems like a lot of negatives but I do think we would camp here again. Large campsites, friendly folks....just a little TLC needed. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Camped here for the first time in April 2009. Very clean and well taken care of. We had only one complaint...pets! We brought our 70 pound sweet chocolate lab with us on his first camping trip. We brought his tie out and I paid 100 buck for a fold down wire kennel/crate to keep him in at night as he is not potty trained and we don't keep him in the camper. Nowhere on the website does it say that you can't have the kennel or crates. Security quickly came up to us and said we could have the crate. We had to leave him tied out to a tree while we went places. I was afraid someone was gonna come and unhook him and release him. It also dropped to freezing temps while we were there and they wouldn't allow him us to put him in the crate under our slide out to give him shelter from the rain and freezing temps. I will not ever stay at this resort again! We will be staying at Riveredge or Creekside RV park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park is convenient to Dollywood and Gatlinburg attractions. However, it is kind of shabby. The river sites are all back-ins which means they are really for travel trailers and fifth wheels. There are many permanent residents. There are 4 big rig pull-thru sites near their "convention center" that were an afterthought and are facing the maintenance shed. This is where we were with our bus and car trailer. Most of the park is gravel with some paved sites. Wifi was mediocre; cable worked. We camped here in a Motorhome.
There were two of us in motorhomes and they worked to put us next to each other. We are backed in by the river and it is very nice. It has rain (poured really) the last two days. There is a few spots were the water has puddled but most of the campground is not flooded or puddled. They have good drainage. They have a nice building and a shelter as well. The sites were very nice and spacious. I saw some pull thrus that must me close to 100 foot long with three sewer connections. The campground has multiple free Wi-Fi connection points as well. I am sitting here in the coach writing this and watching the rain fall. They have shaded sites and open sites. The pool was still closed as it was cold still. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice park. I used one of their select sites on the river with concrete pad. It was very nice. The personnel are very pleasant and help out on any issues. The bath houses are very clean and up-to-date. It the was very cold here but they kept bath houses very warm. They take care of all landscaping on daily basis. The only negative I have is the noise from trucks. On the week days there is some kind of gravel or concrete company across the river. Starting at 7am the dump trucks are rolling in and out. Not a big deal but is a little annoying early in the morning. I would still highly recommend this campground and the river sites. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park set back off major highway. The park interior roads are wide gravel. The sites are about average size the river site we had was easy to back into it was gravel with a concrete pad. The park has a lot of seasonal campers on site most were empty when we were there. The staff is very nice. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is very spacious. We camped the week of Thanksgiving and were not disturbed with the concrete company located nearby. The check-in was efficient and quick. The staff was very helpful and answered our questions. We were given a site with a Bradford Pear tree. For those of you who own these trees you know how beautiful they are but also during the fall how messy they can be when the "pears" begin to fall. We asked to be moved to a site that had no overhang of the tree on our slide. We were promptly given a choice of three different sites and we were able to choose our site. How refreshing to actually have customer service! Our visit was very relaxing we will return again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a large, efficient rv park. It is very clean, sites are level, gravel with concrete patios. There is some grass between sites and around the perimeter of the park. The sites are fairly well spaced but there isn't a lot of landscaping, which can be both good and bad. We had no problem getting our satellite reception, but there's no shade or screening from neighbors. It was not very convenient to get to the dog walking areas, and there was a lot of loose grass to get tracked back in to the rig. We didn't have a lot of interaction with office staff, and we didn't shop in the store there. Navigating the roads was not a problem with our 40' motor home and tow car. It's off the main road a bit, so there isn't a lot of road noise, but there is a rock or cement processing business nearby and they start work pretty early in the morning. We wanted to stay longer, but they were booked up for a holiday weekend. It was convenient to lots of attractions around Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A clean campground with sufficient space at our site. For those who want easy assess to the Pigeon Forge-Gatlinburg shows and attractions, the campground would warrant a 9 or 10. For those who want to spend more time in the Smokies and the smaller town in the area, the traffic on the main north-south drive can be frustrating. Since we are in the second group, we would have been happier in a less busy location. That being said, we stayed here for four weeks and were pleased with the site, the staff, and the facilities. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A great park. Sites were level with a nice concrete patio. The location is ideal to visit the Smokey Mountains. We would highly recommend and will visit again. The bathrooms were very clean! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
A nice campground. The staff could be friendlier. We were overall pleased with stay. Pool was closed for season but looked nice. The negatives are the staff weren't overly friendly, the store didn't have hardly any supplies or food in stock, there is a concrete industry next door so there is some noise and dust but not bad, gravel roads were very dusty (very dry when we were here), lots of permanent sites so fills up fast with what's left for travelers. Positives were: nice campground, well kept, bathrooms were clean, near everything (hiking, stores, shows if you want that sort of thing). I had been here once before and was not pleased with the way I was treated (a person that was on the site we had reserved wanted to stay longer so we were moved three times. They put us on another site and then had to move because someone else had reserved it for later that week. The same thing happened later on in the week and we were eventually given the site we had reserved.) This time I saw that happen to someone else. Keep this in mind when you make your reservation. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is the premier destination for the Smokies! As I type, I am using their wireless internet, it is working good. Well priced for the area, a mile from Super Wal-Mart, (why do we always go there first?) but before the main hustle of the area. Roads are gravel, but dust is not too bad. Staff was friendly and it appears that there are many activities on site for kids and adults alike. Bathrooms and laundry rooms were clean and up to date. We will for sure stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This place is the best. Level roomy sites, easy access for big rigs. Excellent cable TV with lots of stations. Wi-Fi was free and worked well for me, although other campers complained the signal was weak. Hookups were well placed and maintained. Nice looking pool and a game room for the kids. Streets and sites are gravel, but well maintained and smooth. Nice patio at each site. Price was reasonable and the staff was nice, but not overly friendly. In my opinion, this is the best campground in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was a decent campground with long pull thrus and a decent grassy area at each site. The staff was quite friendly and reasonably helpful. The down side to River Plantation was the awful traffic (which did NOT provide traffic noise at the campground). It was tee shirt store after tee shirt store after outlet center after outlet center. And a "dry county"!! Once we got outside that craziness the area was just beautiful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I really liked this park. Staff was friendly, many nice clean rigs in the park. Nice landscaping. I would rate it a 10 except for the gravel roads that produced a lot of dust. Monthly rates are not offered or else we would have stayed longer. Would stay here again for sure. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very nice campground. 5 Star rating to us! Staff were very friendly. Strict rules such as speed limits, pets, and golf cart rules enforced. Concrete patios on all sites, fire rings, neatly trimmed grass, and clean facilities. This should be the standard for all campgrounds. Even the wireless internet was free. You can tell that the owners of this campground aim to please. Highly recommend this resort. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very nice campground and staff goes beyond. This is one of the nicest Good Sams around. They have sorted out some of the seasonals and opened up the choice sites. Wi-Fi worked great and campground was completely full. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice CG will well spaced sites for this area. We had a super site which was nice, however there wasn't any shade. Not sure I would pay the extra next time. Very clean grounds and appears to be a well run park. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a very nice park, we had a super site, completely paved site, which worked well for us. The pool, hottub, game room, all nice. I wish however, that they would at least pave the main loop around the campground, the white dust from the slag gets on everything from vehicles to carpet..etc. We had a great time, but It doesn't seem to be as nice as the first time we stayed there. We would probably look for something else next time. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This campgroung used to be a great place to stay but it seems the permanent residents have taken it over it has really gone downhill. You cannot use the hottub for all the kids running and jumping in and out back and forth from the pool to the hottub. It is posted no childen in the hot tub unless supervised by a adult but no one enforces the rules i think the parents just drop the kids off and turn them loose. You can not walk for all the golf carts running around kids driving them, bicycles and car traffic bad ,real small children driving around on them little elec cars its a mess.Loose gravel is really bad. There is just too many perments in the park and they have took it over and think that they own it and you shouldnt be there. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is very nice. Its a large park, plenty of room to move around. There is room to bicycle ride. However the gravel can throw you at times. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very nice park. We spent a week here. The staff was very helpful and courteous. They had frequent security patrols and always seemed to stop and ask how things were going. The park was very quiet and peaceful. The only suggestion would be to have a bath house on the left side of the park. I would definitely stay here again! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is our favorite campground in the Pigeon Forge/Sevierville area. Nice big level sites, bath houses always clean. The staff is very helpful. In my opinion it is by far the nicest campground in Pigeon Forge. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
I like this park,it is very close to everything, stayed here a week and would return. One comment that we have is the fact that if you want to use the hot tub, you better be prepared to share it with a bunch of kids. Even though the signs clearly state that no kids in the hot tub, they are jumping in and out. Parents and staff seem to let them. I guess that is what happens when there are so many seasonal campers here. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park was really nice ... if you get a site along the river. We did and were very happy with the size and the view. We walked around and saw that the sites in the middle were a little tight and the fire rings were too close to each other. But that said the park has all the feature, great cable TV good water and a great location. Right close to everything ... shopping, sightseeing, tourist traps all you want. We would definite be back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We've stayed here several times. Love the large sites and it's a very clean park. We were a little disappointed this last time, the bathroom near us was closed for renovations the entire 4 days we were there, but this wasn't mentioned to us when we made our reservations or even when we checked in. The game room was also very "hot" - no fans or a/c and a sign on the door said the "door has to remain closed at all times". Otherwise, we really do like this campground & would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice park just before you get to all the Pigeon Forge heavy traffic area. Within a mile or two of Walmart, outlet shopping, great restaurants. Park wasn't nearly filled, and it was nice that they didn't put us all together in one section. Nice to have some space between vehicles, and nice of them to provide it since many parks don't. Stayed here in a 37' motorhome and had plenty of room on a level site. Will return. Good Sam rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here for two nights for a short visit to Dollywood, which is about 10 miles from the campground. The campground was practically empty. The campground itself is mostly flat. Our site was long, but not very wide by comparison. If we had neighbors, I think the site would have seemed small. It did have a nice concrete pad. I didn't hear any road noise and we didn't camp here on a Saturday, so I can't speak to the previous review. We never did get our cable to work, but we did not contact the office given our short stay. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return when the weather is warmer. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Our first visit to this campground. We had a "signature" riverfront site. Positives: This site was very large, had a lot of space between us and our neighbors and a lot of open space behind our site. Negatives: They neglected to inform us that all the bathhouses except the main one in front were closed. Also, they neglected to inform us that the repeaters for the wifi were turned off meaning WiFi was only available at the front of the campground near the office. And, this was the loudest campground experience we have had yet. There is a busy and noisy road behind the river and the concrete plant was up and running and LOUD very early Saturday morning. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Great park, we stayed in the "off season" but the park was clean and very nice. Our only complaint was that the gravel in the sites is very loose and tends to rut and get carried in the coach on your shoes. The grounds are great. The restrooms were clean the park just feels good. Be aware, however, the speed limit is 7 miles per hour, do not go 8. The worst thing about this park is the fact that the Sieverville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg traffic. Gridlock can occur at anytime, not the parks fault, but be aware that you may only be able to turn right out of the exit. We loved this park, we will be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We had a pull through site and I think these were bigger than most. We camped here over Thanksgiving and experienced rain and COLD temperatures. My younger son said after a couple hours of being at the park that he wanted to come back during the summer. The park had a basketball court, game-room, horseshoes, and many grassy areas. (The boys and my husband kicked around the soccer ball one evening!) The roads are gravel and we had a nice concrete pad. Cable was good and the internet was better than most CG's. Being there on a holiday, the traffic was awful, but would be no matter where you stayed. There was a Christmas program at the park on Saturday night, but we did not attend since the Alabama vs. Auburn game was on ESPN. This CG does have designated areas to carry your pet to potty, with bags, and you are asked to only let your pet use this area and not other areas of the CG. I would enjoy camping here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nice park with fairly large sites for the area. Shower house and restrooms were well maintained and clean. Quite a bit to do in the campground even in cold weather with a game room and conference center with entertainment while we were there. Somewhat messy with a lot of dirt and dust from the gravel roads in the park. Riverfront sites have lots of room behind the campers going to the river. Two dog walking areas with bags provided for clean up. The campground does not allow pens which we usually use for our small dog when we are at the camper, so we probably will not return even though we rate the campground as very good otherwise. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Great park, however, pick your times you visit this area, the traffic is incredible, seems to always be backed up. No fault of the park but it would be nice if they had a traffic light at their entrance. The WiFi worked as good as any park I have ever been at. They seem to have three antenna's for you to connect to and we were back on the river and had a great signal. Nice clean big park, would go there again if we go back to Gatlinburg area for a vacation. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Just returned from a 2 night stay here and it was great. Great sites with full hookups concrete pad with picnic table, fire ring at site, cable TV. Well groomed campground all around. Staff extremely nice and helpful when needed. Great location to all of major attractions in area. Arcade area for children was only down side as most games were old and inoperable. Pools were drained so cannot comment on that. Will return again in future for sure. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
A very nice RV park with several hundred sites. The sites aren't too close together and are angled for good privacy. The pads and roads are gravel, but there are cement patios and grass between the sites. There are some trees; but, they were very accommodating in the office to give us one of the numerous sites where satellite reception isn't a problem. There is a little noise from a nearby quarry - machinery humming, trucks growling, and backup beepers beeping. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We would rate this a 10, but our cable was out one night (seemed to be an entire campground problem). There was no one to fix it. Our site #128 was a long, level pull through. It was next to the picnic pavilion and trash dumpsters. While it was not a problem while we were there I could see if a party was going on, it could have been. We'd stay there again, but would ask for a different site. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I'd have to say this is one of my favorite rv parks. We stayed here for 2 weeks with easy access to the pigeon forge strip. The pool was very clean along with the whole entire campground. Very friendly staff . The river isnt a swimming type river as it has a muddy bottom to it but, it was great for fishing. We had a river front site and every morning would go out with chairs, and fish. I'm not a fishing expert but I caught something every day! Its also very level and has nice patios at site. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We stayed here on a recommendation, and I was very glad I took the recommendation. The place was extremely clean, the gravel roads were watered daily to keep the dust at a minimum, we stayed in the "older half" and had huge shade trees, which were very welcome since the temps in August were in the HIGH 90's. The park is located on the Pigeon Forge/Sevierville border so it is close to the action in Pigeon Forge as well as Sevierville. The sites are wide, perhaps even twice as wide as the sites found in parks closer to town. I found that the WiFi had several nodes placed around the park, and never had a problem getting access. If I could find any fault, it would be that the trolley does not run thru the park, but neither does normal traffic, unlike a couple parks in Pigeon Forge. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This campground was nice but could use some more shade trees. We had a site right on the river which was nice as the dog walk is right along the banks here. On Friday night we did have an Elvis impersonator who put on a show, its was great. The campground is right in the middle of, and handy to all the tourist points of interest. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a nice RV park along the banks of the Little Pigeon River. Sites are not as close together as in most private parks. It also has a few cabins. All sites are level and have full service including a large selection of cable TV channels. Free WiFi throughout the park. Interior roads and sites are gravel and were in good repair. Two pools, one an "adult only," and a jacuzzi. Excellent parking for check-in which was quick and easy. The entrance to this park is off Hwy 441, the "main drag," which makes it very convenient to local businesses yet the setting in the park is quiet and peaceful but we have had the windows closed and the A/C on. Lots of grass and trees throughout the park. If this park had paved roads and sites, I would rate it 10. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Great campground and people were very friendly and helpful. Restrooms were good as far as clean goes but very accomodating with seperate showers and great heat. Many campers with dogs that barked at night for a while. Overall the six nights were quiet and restful. The fire pits are way too close to the campers though and can provide a smoky situation especially in the summer. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
WOW! Super Nice Campground! Nothing bad about this park except somewhat difficult to turn left out of. Wi-Fi Internet at the time was $5 a day which I did not think was bad, after all when your on vacation you tend to pay more for things than normal anyway. Now I have heard that WiFi is free, that makes the park even better. Would love to store my travel trailer there but unfortunatealy they are to capacity on storage. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This was an excellent rv park; we had signature site 16; the only bad thing I can say is the slag place across the river ran from 7 am to early evening and the trucks were loud..If that does'nt bother you; you will have a great time! I'm sure the rest of the park could probably not hear it as well as the row we were in and there are signature sites on the other end of the campground also... Also, If you think this is out in the country it is not. It is right in the middle of Seiversville and route 441 is very busy, (it is the route to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg). Everything about the park was very neat, clean and tidy; the pool was clean and the office folks friendly. We would definitely stay again, only on the other side of the campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We were way impressed with the assistance given by the front desk personnel on several issues. This park is clean, spacious, and quiet. It is definitely a family campground. All bathrooms were clean and kept up very well. It was apparent that there were upgrades being made very recently in some of the restrooms/shower areas. We had a very pleasant stay. The only bad part of our stay is the WiFi. It would have cost five dollars a day to use the wifi through the park. We went to Hampton Inn and offered to make a donation to the breakfast area waitress to use the Wifi and they were more than happy to have us. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We love this park! We have camped her numerous times. Consistently clean facilities, courteous attendants and manicured grounds. We reserved a riverfront site and loved it! The dog walk areas provide pickup bags and disposal facilities. Great family atmosphere. We will be back!!! The campground guests enforce the 7mph speed limit. I deservingly got yelled at for my lead foot!!! Little shade in the entire park!! Wi-fi is very-very pricy!!! All sites are level. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We camped on one of their signature sites, #116. We had some rain while we were there, so we really appreciated the concrete slab. The only complaint we had with the site was the location of the electric, cable, and water hookups. They were closer to the front of the site rather than the rear making it difficult to position the MH so our parked car was not an obstruction. The problem could have been avoided had we had a longer cable TV cord but then we might have had to use an extension for power. We loved the view of the river and the nice fire ring. The site was perfectly level and landscaped nicely. We visited in December so we did not use many of the amenities; however we did walk around the campground and found the bath houses and pool area to be very nice. The only other negative is the difficulty of making a left turn onto 441 from the campground. Traffic was not too bad while we were there but we could see it being very difficult during peak season traffic. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a nice park - level parking gravel spaces w/lots of grass between lots - small concrete patio, with fire pit and picnic table - very clean. However, the staff is not exceptionally friendly and are selective on how they enforce their "rules". For example, dog pens are not allowed - but a dog pen that is used for a "baby" is allowed. I don't see the difference. WiFi is independently billed - we signed up for a week and for 1 1/2 days were not able to get connected. The first day this happed, I called the contact person and was then able to connect. The second day, the contact person was "out of the office" - I called the emergency number he gave me and left a message. I am still waiting for an answer! There are two laundry facilities with only 3 washers and dryers in each - for a park this size it is very inadequate. The two dumpsters are located quite a ways from our parking spot - not easy to get rid of trash. There are two sections of the park - the old section has nice trees and the new section, where we stayed, has a few small trees that provide no shade. The exit from the park is onto a VERY busy highway - hazardous and very time consuming. No traffic light. Within 1/4 mile, there is a rock quarry and the noise continues 24 hours a day with "back-up" beepers on trucks constantly. We would probably not stay here again - too many other parks to choose from in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Excellent campground. We stayed here for 4 days in August 2005. Restroom/Shower are was super clean. Pool/Hot Tub area was also clean and organized. No complaints from the wife or myself. We had site #66 with W/E/S & cable hookup. The concrete pad under the awning was a nice addition too. I highly recommend this campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Peaceful campground in valley on Parkway near Pigeon Forge area. Convenient to all area attractions. Extra wide and spacious sites with concrete patios. White rock roads can get dusty in dry periods. Beautiful pool area with two pools and hot tub. Nice playground area. New conference center. We have stayed here numerous times and will return whenever we have opportunity to visit this area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed here on Memorial Day weekend and loved the campground. We had a river front site that was very spacious. There is a large grassy area between your camper and the river. It is a very well maintained park with nice facilities. We did hear some noise from the cement plant, but nothing even near bothersome. We were in the old section that had plenty of shade. This is probably one of my most favorite places to camp. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Pros: wide sites, fire rings Cons: Difficult left turn into campground and difficult left turn (to town) leaving campground--no light, multi-lanes, and much traffic. On an often-sluggish river, not creek, many mosquitos. All gravel roads. Campers selling stuff, from RV's, even at entrance to campground! Construction company on other side of small river--loud in morning. Storage of many RV's on site and visible. Paid for wi-fi, but unable to receive signal. Nasty attitude at check-in. We've stayed here for years. Never a problem. We'd noticed a six person site limit and asked about it. (We're family of 4 adults, 4 kids). Were told: "that's to keep out spring-breakers /college-kids." This time at check-in, manager was nasty. Shocked at family size. Patronizing. Asked what we were camping in (as if expecting junky converted school bus?) Were then told not to make noise! Disappointing way to be treated after a long-days drive, especially as long-term customers. Manager showed complete lack of hospitality--even hostility. We've never had an incident here at all and confirmed this by subsequent call to owner. Owner was responsive (promptly returning my call) and did disagree with manager's behavior, but is not on-site. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a pleasant enough family-oriented campground that seems to have an older section and a newer section. As a matter of fact, there seems to be quite a lot of newness going on. There is a building that looks new and another large new building is going up. The roads are old pavement covered with gravel in the front and fresh gravel in a newer rear section. Some of the gravel in that newer section, on both the roads and the sites, is a litle thick and can get quite soft, but it looked as though they were starting to pour some concrete sites in the last rows. Maybe shades of better things to come as our soft-gravel site made it tougher than it should have been to get level. Although sites do have concrete patios, picnic tables and two sewer hook-ups, the water and electric connections seemed inconveniently placed. Another recent addition is WiFi, but they charge extra for it. Everything was clean and the staff were pleasant. It's nice to see a place that seems to be interested in re-investing in itself instead of just taking profits off the top. The potential to be an even better place to stay is certainly within reach. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed during the Thanksgiving holidays 2004. Everything went smooth with reservations and the staff was friendly. Sites were nice and were easy to back into and I have a 40ft coach. They had a good many pull throughs as well. Sites were level and clean. While we didn't use the pool facility, it looked very clean and nice. The campground was nice but not the most scenic place and the water pressure was pretty low. Didn't seem to bother anybody as they were sold out. Would definately come back or recommend this campground. Oh by the way we did not hear any noise from the plant across the river. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice campgground. Roads are gravel but in excellent shape. Park is well kept and
clean. Had a few dog walk areas located around park, and each had a dispenser for "bags" along with a trash can. We camped on the river, and did notice some
noise from the road on other side, but not enough to disturb us. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park, dusty gravel roads. Excellent facilities and monthly campers are well kept. Campground close to attractions, but out of the way enough to be quiet. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We stayed here for a short visit. The Park is very nice. We will be back. Our only complaint was that there was no water pressure. The overall campground was great. The people were very nice and so was the staff. We really enjoyed the Sunday School Service. It's location was a plus too. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We thought this park was great. Very convenient to all attractions and quiet. We didnt
hear any noise from the cement plant and we werent parked that far from the river sites. We will definitely be back again next year. The sites were perfect for a big rig with three slides and an internet dish. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I have to dissagree with most of the other reviews. We stayed on one of the river front
lots and it was very noisy. At 4:30 every morning, the cement plant just on the other of this small river, starts their operation. You can hear cement trucks and 18- wheelers all morning. The people in the office are very friendly until they get your money and then develop a real attitude. They had a problem with one of their pools, so instead of closing just that one, they closed both pools and said you could go down the street to a motel to swim. We will never go back to this place. There are a lot better campgrounds in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I think this park is excellent. With over 300 sites, it was the quietest campground I have ever been too. They have 2 swimming pools and a hot tub. The sites were very spacious for this area. We were in the old section where there was lots of grass and shady areas. However they have added and are currently adding new sites. This area does not have trees. They do have sites on Little Pigeon River. You do have to make reservations far in advance for these. They have entertainment in the pavilion 2-3 times a week. Being in this area several times and having stayed at other campgrounds, I was totally impressed with the overall quality of this campground. The owners truly take pride and care in their CG. Thank you for a wonderful week! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Great Campground for going to Pigeon Forge. You are far enough out to have a good time
and close enough to avoid a lot of the traffic. Two Pools. All the staff are very friendly. For those that don't like to tow their camper they offer camper storage there and you can call ahead of time to have them pull your camper to your spot. Reservations are a must though. Add $2.50 for each extra kid (bith adults free). Stayed there during Easter week which is
considered "in season". When we got there most of the summer facilities were closed (pool, etc). Main bath house was under construction. The campground is used for RV storage during the winter months, and most of the stored RV's were still sitting there parked one on top the other inter-mingled with the active campsites. Very little shade if any. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are very level and easy to pull through or back in. The older part of the park is shaded, the newer part has new trees planted, so it will be a few years before they are as shaded. Grounds are very well maintained and they are adding several new sites. Look for this place to go over 300 sites. Very well located right off the main road (441) between Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. Also only 20 miles from the
Smoky Mountain Natl. Park and 15 from Gatlinburg. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful park stayed there 4 nights really enjoyed this park. Beautiful 2 pools large Hot Tub really well kept park. Free Cable TV great place to fish in river. Hated to leave. Camp there in May 2003 and going back in June. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Sites are gravel but level, clean, and spacious. For the price, it's the best RV park in the area. This was our first visit to this park, and we plan to return and make our reservations well in advance just to make sure we get a site. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Wi-Fi is now FREE here. Nice, clean campground run by a family with a family attitude. Located on Boyd's Creek, it is convenient to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg via the back roads. GREAT PARK! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great park to tour the area. Easy in and out. Water, electric & sewer all great. Nice and quiet at nite although nearby helicopter flights (site-seeing)during the day are a little irritating. Have stayed before, will stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A great park with a nice staff. One thing I like in particular is that they do not increase their rates during holidays. In late 2008 they said they were going to "try" to offer free wifi but not sure. Very good family campground located on Boyd's Creek which makes for easy back door access to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Our family really enjoyed this campground! Pros: Close proximity to attractions; level sites; riverfront sites; nice employees; clean restrooms/bathhouses; pool; fishing in river; trash pickup daily; playground. Cons: Very close campsites; no fire rings or grills at sites; cost to access Wi-Fi. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We came to this campground for a family reunion in Knoxville. I really liked the easy on and off the interstate. The staff was nice and helpful but it would have been nicer to have some shade at the pull through sites. We will continue to use this campground for our trips to TN. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Good clean campground, newer pull throughs and creek fronts on the backside be sure to specify these on reservations as ones closer to office and pool are really close together. Nice gravel drives. Kids everywhere but well behaved. We have used this campground many times for extended stays and as just overnighters never had a bad experience. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a large campground with many sites close together. Upon entering they couldn't process our credit card so we had to pay by check. The credit card company had no idea why. The showers were nice. They have free cable TV but very limited stations. There is a charge for Wi-Fi with poor connection speeds. There are only 4 washers and dryers for 285 sites with at least a half hour wait to do laundry. Good gravel interior roads with level sites. This is a very Christian-type campground with a sign over the office that says "Jesus" and they have gospel concerts on Saturdays. The campground is close to the highway and services without being noisy. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
The worst thing about this campground is the sites are right on top of each other! And, it seems that they allow more than one extra vehicles per site. It is convenient to Knoxville, as is only four miles from I-40. However, getting to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg is a much longer drive. Use Exit 407 off I-40 onto Route 66. As we were here on the 5th of July, the traffic going toward I-40 was backed up at least five miles. We inquired of the traffic at one of the shops and were informed that the traffic is bad every weekend. The campground was full when we arrived and the pool was inundated with "unwatched" children. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is our home away from home. Whenever we head to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge we always make this CG our home base in which to explore the area. Huge, long pull thru sites that are very level ( all new ), excellent utilities and a quiet relaxing atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If your going to be in the area, this is a great ( cheap ) place to stay. An ultra clean, no frills place to stay over for a night or a week. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We camped in a pull through in the new section. Roads are limestone and well maintained. Our site was long and level with a concrete patio, but rather narrow. Trash was picked up at the site and the grounds were well maintained. Sites in the older section looked tight. We didn't use Wi-Fi as it was $5.95 per day. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Clean and well maintained park. Sites are fair size but not huge. We stayed in a riverfront site in the newer section of the campground and had a pretty view of the Little Pigeon River. Most of the campground's pull through sites are in this area and they appear to be designed mainly for large motorhomes since the concrete pads are located toward the front of the site. There is not a showerhouse in this area so it is a fairly long walk to the closest one. It is also a long walk to the pool, store and pavillion areas. The campground was quiet. It has several seasonal sites but all of these are extremely well maintained. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This āLā shaped park is different. We had a spot (255) near the river. It was flatland which I enjoyed. I had very little leveling to do. Most other spots near me were level too. The grounds were kept up very good. I noticed them mowing and weed eating. Plus, I saw them using some sort of grass killer around the concrete pads. I think all the spots had these pads. The grass was very full and felt nice under my feet. They had planted trees in this area about 4 years ago. They were about 15 foot tall and provided some shade. There is a picnic table for each site. The one we had was in good shape. This place has a pool but I was not able to make use of it. I could not help but notice they had a bunch of cabins. They were all seated on the riverbank. The fire rings were all placed near the riverbank too. The river was placid and I did notice several people fishing on it. I was unaware if they were catching any fish. The bathhouses were spotless. But, there are only two of them for over 300 sites. I say that is not enough for the number of potential campers. The arcade was very outdated. I noticed an Ms Pac-man game and 3 others. They were all way out of date. They do have a nice pavilion. It looks to seat about 100 people. I understand they have church services and they do tend to be well attended. The camp store was fairly well stocked. I would guess that in the summer it would have even more items. The interior roads are gravel and well kept. This park also has internet but the cost is about $3 per hour! For this reason and the lack of bathhouses, and the lack of fire rings I give this park a 7+. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here for spring break with an 18 yr old girl, 14 yr old boy, 3 yr old girl and 9 month old girl. They all enjoyed the trip. The campground is out of the hustle/bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but is close enough to allow easy access. The campground was quiet (with the exception of some highway traffic noise late at night). There are several permanent sites, but they are well kept. The latest addition to the campground features flat, level sites that are right on the river, but they have no shade yet. The trees that have been planted are still very small, less than 6 feet. Overall, nice quiet campground close to the interstate but still close enough to the action. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
I was somewhat disappointed upon arrival. The park really didn't look that nice. It was also a mobile home park. When I checked in, the only thing the lady told me was how much I owed. She didn't even tell me there was a trash pick-up. We found out the next morning as we saw someone in a pick-up trick driving down the road with trash in the back. The back-in sites were close together and somewhat of a squeeze to get in. The roads were gravel, so you heard "crunch, crunch" as cars and trucks drove by. The park was close to the interstate and not that far from Dollywood, which was convenient. The price was great and they didn't require a minimum three night stay like the other parks wanted because of the holiday weekend. We probably will try another park if we visit the area again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice, quiet park. Open shot at the southern sky for satellite dish. Two comments: "no public display of alcohol permitted" per the rules. And, if the water pressure in your rig seems low, clean or replace your filter. The park is on a well with high mineral content. Water tastes good, but it plugs the filter up. We cleaned our filter every couple of days. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice park. Closest we found to I40. Park clean, staff pleasant, wide streets and easy-to-negotiate pull-thru's. Limited TV selection. WIFI was adequate. Had some permanents but they were very nice and well kept. Would return again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Beautiful Campground. Wide Roads, beautiful pull through sites with full hook ups, concrete patio and grass. Sites are level. Excellent WIFI connection available at site($2.95 hr, 5.95 day). River Front sites available. Cabins and some residential sites. Everything is well cared for. Convenient to I-40, and recreation areas around GT Smoky Mtn Ntl Park, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Sites a little uneven and difficult to level. Moved from first site allocated due to large slope and impossible to level even with all of our lumber blocks. Gravel and ground in big ruts and ridges. Helpful staff. Electric and water very good. Cable TV connection poor and 'snowy' picture. Plenty of space and campground quite neat and tidy. Restrooms awful - old, primitive and barely clean - we didn't use them. Excellent location for visiting the Smokey Mountains Area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Our 4th stay here, like coming home. Great office folks, they keep your info in computer, this check in took two minutes. Great level sites, clean parking areas/streets, always friendly folks camping in the park. Lots of kids for the pool area. We stayed in the back in the 200's, lots of pull thru sites. Back area is always great and quiet. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very nice campground with a large number of pull through sites in the rear section of the park. There are quite a number of permanent residents in the front of the park. Mobile homes and cabins are available for rent, the cabins are along the river. Everyone at the campground is friendly and try to make sure you have nice stay. There is a nice pool but there is no shade. It would have been nice to have some patio tables with umbrella's around the pool to provide some shade. Overall, this is a very nice park and I would stay at again even for an extended stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The RV park which is closest to the Interstate (about 5 miles), which is why we chose it, as we did not feel like driving the coach through traffic. The park is very "Christian", but it's nice. The old section surrounds the office, through which you drive to get to the "pull-through" section. Huge spots, river access/views, nice atmosphere, and quiet. A good location for getting in and out of town(s), without the hassle of driving your rig through them. Lots of wash/cleaning companies, and RV repair companies. Found that Rick's mobile RV Repair was quite expert in all areas of repair, and certified. We will return in the Spring, and will have a list for Rick! We camped here in a Motorhome.
The campground was about five miles south of I-40. Staff was very friendly and allowed us to pick a site to our liking. They spread out campers which increased privacy. The roads are a mix of paved and gravel. Sites are long, wide, and gravel. Most sites are long enough to handle any size coach with any number of slides without unhooking toad. The utilities are modern and placed well. Each site has a concrete pad and table. Most sites are satellite friendly. On a grassy knoll over looking the river there are fire rings and BBQs. The pool and laundry room are modern and very clean. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Over all not a bad park. Cable tv is very limited, I got more channels with my antenna. Staff at desk was very unfriendly and gave away one of the sites we had reserved and didn't care. It is a christen camp owned by by ministers but we were not treated accordingly. I don't intend to return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
If you do not use your RV bathroom, make sure you get a site near the bath house. It is nearly 1/2 mile from one end of the campground. Cable system is poor. Wi-fi did not work well and was $6 a night. Owners know nothing about the wi-fi. I asked to be camped near the wi-fi antennas and they did not know where they were. Park was clean, sites were level with fresh crushed stone. Grass was very well cared for. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nice campground. Laundry services only available before 6 pm. Some vending machines did not work well. Staff in office helpful on some things but unaware on others. Overall, very nice campground but does need some catching up to compete with others in area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This was the first time that we camped here. Thanks to the reviews on this site, I chose this campground. We were in at a river waterfront site on the Little Pigeon River. They are a couple dollars more, but are worth it. You have more room behind your camper to spread out and there are campfire rings behind these sites. We had a nice view of the river and it was fairly quiet. We have stayed several times at another campground down in Pigeon Forge that was much more cramped. The next visit to the area, we will return to Riverside Campground. The staff was friendly, the garbage was picked up and the place was clean and welcoming. Our site had a concrete patio, picnic table and full hookups (including CATV). We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Stayed during 3rd annual Bluegrass Fesitval. Easy on and off access from TN 66. Well thought out new section for big rigs. Very nice and helpful staff. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here for a week in the newer open section which was level and roomy. The pool was clean. Most of the staff were friendly. We liked the location away from the tourist congestion. The Wi-FI is spendy, but it is an additional take it or leave it option. I need it, and it worked well during the entire week we were there. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Large sites, paved patio with picnic table. We loved it. We stayed in a 41 ft motor coach with 4 slides and had no problems. We will come back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice campground. Some sites are somewhat small especially for a larger rig. Recently expanded area has very little shade but in time the trees that are planted should provide more shade. Friendly staff, family atmosphere, reasonable prices for area. We will probably return. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
Grounds and bath facilities were in excellent condition. However the sites were very close together, our awning was only 18" from our neighbors hooks ups. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very clean, friendly, and helpful staff. Restrooms and showers very clean. Shaded sites however are very LIMITED, and only on the outer perimeter of park. Sites are Level and graveled with each site having a concrete pad. Sites were deep but very close...our awning was only 26" from neighbors sewer and water hookups. Fire rings / up-right grills available depending on site. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Well laid out and maintained campground. Pull thru sites will accomadate all size campers. You will see no trash or clutter here. Owners/operators are friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is very clean and neat. There are some permanent sites but no garbage or unsitely plastic coverings and items laying around. Permanent sites are together and not spread out amongst the temp. sites. Showers are newly renovated. Personnel are very nice and helpful. Laundry clean & neat. Sites and roadway are all gravel with grass areas in between. There are lovely large trees (trimmed trees no problem with high vehicles) We
like the sites along the river. Steps lead down to a wonderful walk with benches along the rivers edge. This will be our park each time we visit family who live in the area. Only one problem speed bumps are too high....we broke our coffee pot this time as we left. A little shorter would be good. We camped here in a camper.
This is a great place to park an RV. Nothing to do there other than the pool. But make no mistake, a very nice place to stay. All sites are level concrete and beautifully landscaped with fragrant bushes. Very quiet campground. But don't use the water for cooking and drinking. Apparently, TN uses quite a heavy dose of chemicals in the water, so be sure to bring water for drinking and cooking. We will stay there again for the quiet, convenient access to the Gatlinburg area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is an amazing park. The view out our front windshield was gorgeous. We sat outside for several hours in the morning. The kids loved the pool. Everything is immaculate. It's a quiet refuge from all the noise and activity of the area. The sites are concrete, with gorgeous flowering bushes between each site. The staff was extremely friendly. My 14 year old son got a wealth of information on the area from Joan at the front desk. She even dropped off more info at our site. We'd love to come back! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Agree with the others. I'd like to say that I will come back but at $63, it would be a tough call. This is an instance of economic theory that a cut in price would vastly increase the bottom line. Outstanding facility but not worth this much money. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This place wasn't the RV Park that we had originally decided on for our stay, but a wrong turn took us here. One look, and we decided that we had found our spot. The location is flawless, right on the bank of the French Broad River, a quiet large river of great beauty. The park is beautifully landscaped and extraordinarily well maintained, and the sites are all concrete pads, perfectly level. The sites at the riverbank are all head-in, so you can open you drapes in the morning and see the beautiful river. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating, and the restroom/showers are clean and very nicely appointed. We do think that they would increase their business by at least fifty percent if they were to reduce their rates by 25 percent. The place was never more than one quarter full during the five days we were there. Regardless, we wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area. The Deli just up the hill is great for lunches. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Large sites, paved. Friendly staff. Good fishing in the small river. A little far out if you plan on trips to Gatlinburg. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Smaller park, just two rows, with preference to buses. They get the front row next to the river, trailers on the second row. Quite nice, good paved road and level concrete pads. Nice office complex. Wide spaces with tables. Very clean and up to date (this is the second year open). A little expensive, but this is the nicest park in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Resort? I'm not so sure I'd call it that. Nice place no doubt as it appears new. Nice landscaping between sites,hook-ups well placed. It's one wide strip with back ins on the left for 5th wheels and pull ins on the right for MH with a river view. The night we stayed there were about 13 MH's + us and one 5th wheel. The concrete slab was long enough for our 42' MH and Tahoe toad. There is also enough space on the side to park next to the MH. One thing I didn't like was our site was unlevel, sloping toward the river. Be sure you have your wheel chocks! Again a very clean, nice new place but pricey. I'd probably try the other place down the street next time, but only due to price. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This place is first rate, though the price is high. Wi-Fi is at least free. It is quiet with a river view. There were 8 - 10 rigs overnight. Prior reviewer talked about gravel - wrong campground. There is NO gravel anywhere around. All concrete roads and sites. This is our second time here, and we would clearly return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Park is big and well maintained and looks like gets a lot of traffic (not surprising given the location). Lot's of large slips in the back, all gravel with concrete patio (big rig accessible). Located yards from Hwy#441. Was a good overnight (we stayed 2). We were looking for a quick stop for a hike in the smokey's without taking the MH all the way to Pigeon Forge. If we were going back to the area this would be our second choice. Sprint had good coverage but park CHARGES $6 PER DAY FOR WI-FI which is a big neg for us. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a first class RV Resort only a few miles from I-40 on Highway 66. Paved roads and oversizes concrete pad with enough room for Motorhome and tow vehicle parked end to end. Lots of landscaping, great view of river, and well maintained and managed. Really nice clubhouse, small playgound, and pool. If you want clean, quiet, and upscale, this is as good as it gets. Great place all year but especially nice during winter months of rain and snow. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Expensive CG-but sites are concrete, level, nicely landscaped. Not anything for teenagers to do at this CG. Has a nice playground area for children 5-12 years old. Have to drive a while to get to any attractions from this CG. Not family oriented. Bathrooms and showers are extremely nice and clean. We stayed at a comparable CG at Hilton Head for a lot less money, and more for teenagers and small children to do. Will not go back due to the high price--that's why I give it a 7. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is one of the nicest campgrounds I have ever stayed in. There is a beautiful office. The pool was decent, and overlooked the river. The sites were beautifully landscaped, and easy to get into although a bit close together. That was not a problem because the campground was nearly empty, so the site next to us was only filled a couple of nights. The bathrooms were immaculate. The cleanest I have ever seen in a campground. They were cleaner than a lot of home bathrooms. The showers had a private dressing room and glass doors into the shower. The Comcast Cable was very good with 70 channels or more. The campground manager and the other employee working there were probably the nicest people I have met working at a campground. This campground is a lot more expensive than other campgrounds in the area, but it is the only true resort. I would highly recommend this campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This facility opened on Labor Day, and Memorial Day weekend was the first time they'd had a full house. It won't be the last! The campground is well situated for exploring the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area (it's within walking distance of Knifeworks and outlet shops, including Coleman). The sites are all level cement pads, well manicured (no shade), and half of them face the peaceful river. There's not a lot of space between sites, as is typical of city camping. There is a small pool (5 feet deep) and playground. The office offers a nice lounging space with a gas fireplace, along with a small fitness room, and the wrap-around porch is complete with several nice wood rocking chairs. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a brand new RV Resort! It is truly a hidden treasure since it recently opened, not many people are aware of it yet. It will be booked far in advance once the word gets out about this RV resort. The staff is extremely helpful! Since I was traveling alone, they did not hesitate to take me to my site and guide me while backing my 5th wheel in. The resort was originally designed to be a motorcoach only location, however, the owner had a change of heart and decided to also allow travel trailers and 5th wheels - I am very happy that he did! The grounds are beautifully maintained and the campground office is absolutely beautiful with very high ceilings and awesome fireplaces in the office area. There is a very nice workout room, pool, and playground. I would highly recommend this RV Resort. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
