This is a brand new resort with about 90 sites when finished. The park is still under construction with about 20 sites usable as of this writing. Pool area laundry showers and landscaping are not complete.Owners expect to to finish at the end of June. The site we used was cement but not level (#43) and appears the other sites will be the same. A lot of money spent for sites not to be level. Directions from Rt 441 turn on Rt 321 south approximately 8 mi towards Townsend, park on left. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful RV park, right on the river. The park is well kept with beautiful trees and grassy sites. The roads and parking are gravel but the gravel is tightly packed making for easy driving and walking. The management was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a large park situated on a stream and they have a pool. We managed to get in here just before a major thunderstorm, so I was hooked up before the rains came. There is cable TV but we found the All Stars game using the antenna so we left it that way. There are many stations you can get with an antenna. The internet and TV came and went but I have to blame that on the storm. When it back up and running, both ran well. We are going to stay here 3 days. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is a little far out to be used to see Gatlinburg. However, it is within a reasonable distance for going to one of the two main Flea Markets. The smaller of the two is within walking distance. The sites seem to be laid out in an efficient manor. All the sites look to be mostly level. The site (#80) we were in, needed just a little bit of leveling. Most all sites come with a picnic table and they all look to be in good shape. Some of the river sites come with a concrete pad that the table sits on. Plus, some of the river sites have a built in grill. There are no fire rings in this campground. The WiFi worked but was spotty at times. The pool was of good size and looked to be in good repair. There were not enough chairs and table for the number of sites in the campground. The roads were all gravel and were not dusty at all. The river is all but useless. It is too steep to go down to and looks snaky as well. The bathhouse was in good shape but this campground could use another one for the amount of sites they have. We did not use the cable TV. The sewer drained well and the water they had was ok. The only thing I can complain about it the helicopters that flew overhead. There was a tour company just across the hwy. Also, getting back out was a little trouble. You have to make a right and find a place to turn around to get back to the interstate. The owners were more than pleasant to deal with. This campground does not allow tents. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A VERY nice campground, with modern and clean showers and toilets, very decently sized sites; two pools and a hot tub, as well as a friendly staff. Most sites provided shade as well. For the price of $38 a night, the place can't be beat. The only things that kept it from being a 10 were only one table and umbrella at the pool, poor TV reception (OK...who really needs it camping) and narrow bandwidth on the free wireless. The stone roads were fine, prefer them, rather than muddy roads when it rains. We will definitely aim to come back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very family friendly, would give this park a 10 if it had paved streets. Pools are great with a kiddie pool, regular pool, and a hot tub. Love to stay here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff is friendly, and the park is well maintained. We were in site 123, a long, level pull-through. Good cell service, but the Wi-Fi didn't work well, even though we were very close to the Wi-Fi repeater. There is open Wi-Fi from the real estate development company that is located upstairs from the park office, and we would take our laptop to the front porch and log onto their Wi-Fi. Very convenient to local attractions. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice campground. We stayed in the newer section backing into the river. We would have given it a higher rating, if the roads and sites were paved. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Although the park has all gravel roads, they are well maintained. The sites on the river are back-in, but long and level. Our 40' motorhome went right in and there was no problem with space for the slides or awnings. The river view is wonderful. We watched birds, turtles and fish splash while sitting at our campfire. We used our DirecTv so can't comment on cable TV. Good Verizon reception on our wireless internet. Only improvement they need are trash cans at the pet walk to dispose of the pickup bags. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stopped for an overnight. Had pull through site, only 30 Amp electric. Advertised 25 channel cable in brochure; had to use antenna as cable quality was poor, couldn't see picture. Tried Wi-fi, gave up, very slow and couldn't call up site. On the way out roads were very muddy, even though there was no rain the time I was there; need to put some gravel down. Very disappointed for the price. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice, quiet park about 10-15 minutes outside of Sevierville. The people are friendly. TV reception was hit and miss, but we didn't go to the area to sit and watch television. No playground equipment or pool, but we are retired so not an issue for us. If you're looking for plenty of stuff to entertain kids with, this is not the place for you. But, if you just want a small, friendly park then this is a little gem. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Rate is for CCUSA. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here at Smoker Holler from July 3 - 12th and loved our stay. It is located 9 miles off the Parkway from Pigeon Forge and is in Sevierville. It is only 4 miles from Townsend and you can be in Cades Cove in no time at all. This is a very quiet park with beautiful mountain views. We really enjoyed this park because we loved being able to go hiking in the mountains and didn't have the traffic of Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg just to get there. We have always stayed in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg and also visited those areas while staying here but found that we loved going to Townsend and Cades Cove on our trip. If we hadn't have stayed here we would have never visited all of these new areas. The owner is very nice and she will even walk over to your campsite to help you pull into your spot if you need it. She likes to make sure that she gives you the old fashioned service that you don't get anywhere else. We found her through our Camp Club USA membership and received 1/2 off for our stay. At $12.50 per night for my husband, myself, our son and our dog. You can't beat that at all. She welcomes you, your kids and pets. This was the only park that we have stayed at that has huge sites. The back ins and the pull through sites. It was nice not getting woke up in the morning when your neighbors are leaving. We didn't hear a thing! This is the quietest park! There is also a nice big pavilion to use for larger groups or just to go up there and sit under for shade or eat at the picnic tables. The work campers are super nice too and will let you know what to do in the area. It was a pleasure to meet everyone. Our son, who is 14, enjoyed staying here too. He liked riding his scooter on the paved road next to the park. This park is gravel and grass, but they are very level. There are many stores, gas stations and a laundry mat within a short driving distance. If you need to have a pool, concrete sites or noise then this is not the park for you. If you want a simple, quiet park with awesome mountain views then this is the park for you! We can't wait to stay here again! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I give the beauty of the park a 10, management a 1. Probably one of the prettiest parks I have ever been in, but my family and several others had bad experiences with the management. We felt as if they were lurking in the bushes waiting to bust us for every little thing, very strict. Kids can't even ride on the sidewalks with their bikes or walk in the grass next to the office. No towels can be hung on chairs. Felt very uncomfortable the entire time, we won't go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for a week. We were very pleased with the RV resort. The restrooms were always clean every time we went to use them. The staff was very friendly and helpful in locating back roads to take to avoid traffic in the area. The pool was great, over looking the river. It took about 20 minutes to get into Gatlinburg if the traffic was not too bad. With this RV park you did not get the feeling of being on top of everyone, the sites were nicely laid out. I would highly recommend this park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here in a travel trailer just for one night. It was a really nice park. The landscaping is excellent and seemed to be well kept. All sites are concrete and plenty big. Each site has a small landscaping light that comes on at dark. Each site has a picnic table. The bathroom and showers were very upscale. The staff that we met, the campground host, and the manager were certainly as nice and accommodating as they come. The pool looked very nice, but we didn't use it. There is a really nice play area for the kids. I saw security cameras on the property, but other that that, there is no security and it is not gated. It is very pricey at a total of $55.32 for the night (that is including tax). The scenery is very nice here as well. Not sure if we would be willing to pay these prices for an extended period. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
