This park is no longer a KOA, they accept the Good Sam card but not KOA, the price has gone down some since the last time we stayed there as a KOA. Very friendly and helpful staff, park very clean. Very nice steak house within walking distance of the park, also a RV dealership near the entrance to the park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here because we have relatives in the area, it was convenient and there was no space at the nearby Corps of Engineers parks. Fortunately our stay was for only three days because this park is located next to the I-35 and the traffic noise was terrible. The roads need improvement. The sites are gravel, not at all level and are too closely spaced. However, the owners are nice and the bathrooms and pool were well maintained. No cable TV is offered. We did not use the fee-based Internet so do not know how well it worked. Other than the Corps of Engineers parks, which are often filled, there are no other RV parks in the Temple/Belton area. We will not return unless the public campgrounds are full. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

By far the worst park we stayed in this trip. Park in no longer connected with KOA. Interior roads were very narrow and all torn up. Spaces were very tight and not level. Trees in sites need to be trimmed. Had to pull trough the next site to be able to turn to leave. Sewer connection was 12" above the ground. TL listing shows WiFi, but that is not true. TV reception on the antenna was OK. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Rate is based on Golden Age Passport rate. We loved this park! The lake and scenery are just beautiful. The sites are large with lots of space in between and are nicely maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had site #25, which had a wonderful view of the lake. We highly recommend this site. Although it was a back-in, it was angled to make it easier to back in. There are only two pull-thrus in the park. Each site has a sheltered picnic table and fire ring. There was a boat ramp close to our site, although we did not use it. We received good reception with our satellite TV, our Sprint Internet Card and Verizon and AT&T cards. The County Sheriff and the park hosts make regular patrols in the park to make sure rules are followed, which we appreciated. I would have rated it a 10 if our site had 50 Amp and sewer. We will definitely return to this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Exceptionally professional and friendly staff. We had originally planned and reserved for 3 nights using our "America the Beautiful" Senior pass but mentioned to the gate staff that we would be leaving a day early. When We returned home, we found that the staff, without being requested to do so, processed a refund for the early checkout. We will definitely return there. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

If this park had sewer hook ups it would be rated much higher. The lake and surrounding scenery is beautiful with lots of shade trees. We hung out on the the lake in our small boat and even had dinner (burgers) at the small marina in the park. Good fishing and the park is serious about the noise curfew which makes it easy score it so high. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a COE park. Sites are all back in except for two or three. The sites are paved and each one has a covered picnic table and a grill. Overall appearance was very nice and the sites were clean and level. Shopping and resturants were about 5 miles away. The attendants were friendly and very helpful. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is a quiet place to long-term camp. Owners are very nice and helpful. Most everyone in the campground is long term. Cheap rates, close to recreational lakes and parks. Big Rig capable, but all sites are back in. Sites are gravel, and mostly level some adjustment is needed. Shower and bathhouse on site as well as laundry. Park is not clearly marked, but is near highway 190 and loop 121 interchange. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stay at this park a lot and I agree with all of the reviews. The park hosts are great. We are even able to have mail sent to the park and they even brought it to our site. The only complaint I have is there should be more 50 amp sites and the sites should be more level. It does get crowded on the weekends during the summer but the week days make up for it. It is a great park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our second stay in the park and we always enjoy our visit. Most of the spaces are very long and roomy. The sites in the lower loop are not very level but can be overcome with some shoring. We were Site 14 with 30 amp service. Had to use a 30 amp extension cord for electric hookup. A lot of folks were parking on the grass and on the roads which seems to be allowed by the hosts. Also, they allow you to dump your grey water tanks on the ground. We'll be back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Our first time in this beautiful shady park on nice lake. Site was tight to get in but fairly level. Enjoyed wildlife and view of lake in distance. We will return often, as park is close to home. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
