We stayed at this park en-route to San Antonio from Big Bend National Park. The park is small with a number of Winter Texans. Sites are oddly configured. Sewer and water hookups are oddly placed on some sites and require long extensions. Roads and sites are gravel with small patches of grass around. Park roads are narrow. However, the manager does a good job of trying to match the rig to the site. Bathrooms are outdated and could use more lighting but are very clean. Don’t be surprised by the old-style wooden doors on showers and toilets that you see when you enter the room. There is a small kitchen with tables that is used for potlucks and other events. We used the room to surf the web. Small laundry with about 4 washers and dryers. Wi-Fi is free and good. If you don’t need a FHU or cable, be sure to ask for a W&E or no cable. You are charged for the extras like cable. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A lot of improvements are taking place at this time. The individual sites are basic. The owners are putting everything they have into making this into a nice campground. I would stay here again. The sites are very large and easy to get into with our large rig. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I have to echo the first reviewer on the page that this is a great campground. We stayed for 2 nights to catch up on some chores and see Amistad Lake. Next time we'll be here in warmer weather. The folks that run this place make you feel welcome. I needed some propane and after I was shown to the site, they took my empty and returned it full. The price was very reasonable. I can't say enough about this park and would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Golden Age rate, $4 is full rate. This is dry camping only, there are port-o-johns though. Great spot for a night or a few. Not sure of the exact number of sites, but there are about 24. They are 'pull up' sites, meaning you park on either side of the road, next to a covered picnic table at each site. Also with a trash can. We spent a night here on our way to Big Bend NP. Del Rio is a good place to stock up on supplies for Big Bend, gas, food, etc. Very small towns west of here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We were surprised to find a new park on this highway. Nice level sites and concrete pads make it a plus for us. The price was right for an overnight stay. The laundry room and bathrooms were very clean. The owner would like to put in wi-fi at a later date. We were very happy with this no frills campground. We will be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is only one year old so the grass is still coming in. The 30ft cement pads and the hook up pedestals are great. There are mini storage units surrounding the sites so there is not much of a view. Every inch of the property is spotless including the laundry (equipped with TV) and the washrooms. I spoke to the owner and he informed me that he is hoping to pave the streets, include car and RV wash bays and a convenience store. This little 12 site park is a great stop along highway 90 just N/W of Del Rio. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice clean park with long pull through sites. Lots of room between sites. No shade yet as the trees are young. Had strong free internet. Has a great swimming pool: very unusual and enjoyable with cool water unlike most pools in mid summer. Friendly staff. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Although this park is only two years old, it has a lot to offer. Sites are long and level and there’s a lot of room between sites. This Park has extended cable TV, fitness room, pool, rec hall and laundry room. It’s very clean. Almost every pull through site has a peach tree. The peaches are juicy and sweet. The cross winds are so strong that you can’t put your awning out. The positive is that you don’t need to run your air conditioner. The only negative beside no shade trees, is road noise. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The park has only been open for a year and half, so trees that have been planted haven't had a chance to mature. This park has it all: friendly staff, a clean pool, fitness room, meeting room, an area for large groups, walking trail, birding area, huge pull throughs, with enough room for the largest rig, plus a boat and vehicle besides. Very close to Amistad Lake. Wi-Fi was super fast and effortless. 125 cable channels, also effortless. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I feel some reviews of this site are not quite fair. I have stayed here for 4 nights. All services work fine except my cable connection (not unusual for many sites). Most guests use their own toilet facilities, I used the camps. Yes it was old, but it was clean and had hot water. The washing machines and dryers worked. The lady who runs it is very helpful and friendly. Many camps I visit could do with updating, but visitors are few and far between in these times, so I am satisfied I got good value. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We had stayed here two years ago and thought it was passable for a couple nights. We tend to not be too picky about a lot of things: we look for a place that we can get decent hook-ups and use as a base for the area. But we stayed for one night this year, passing through, and it has continued to go downhill to the point we won't use it again. The worst part of the entire experience was the BIG roaches which spent the night apparently crawling up our landing legs, trying to get into the warmth. I guess they call them "waterbugs" down here, which sounds nicer, but they are a BIG roach. Went out in the morning to unhook, and discovered them all over the landing legs. And of course, a few did find their way in: which we discovered over the course of the next couple of weeks. We camped here in a Motorhome.

From the Confederate flags hanging out boldly to greet you, to the very long term residents and all their belongings, driving down the bumpy roads avoiding the barking dogs, you'll wonder what you are doing here. Especially when there is a giant Wal-Mart a mile down the street that's free. PA does itself a disservice listing this place in its directory. The "saloon" is closed. On the positive side, there are many shade trees and it is directly on the main road. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Price reflects monthly rates. The park is aptly named "hidden" but no worries the owner will escort you in from the edge of town! Large roomy, level sites (some even with privacy fences between) and beautiful large shade trees throughout the park. Located on the south side of town away from the Hwy and attached to a nice neighbor. Very quiet, very pet friendly. Owners couldn't be any nicer. We will be staying here again. Wi-Fi cable both worked great. We were there for 2 months. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a wonderful campground, we do not want or need horseshoes, shuffleboards, a pool or any of the like. It is nice and quiet, conveniently in town but away from traffic, pets are welcomed, the sites are huge, there is a laundry that we did not need a pocketful of quarters to use (honor system to pay) all the hookups are here including Wi-Fi and great cable reception, there are plenty of shade trees, a grill, nice picnic table and best of all a very friendly owner who really goes out of her way to make you welcome!! We only planned to stay one night but it was SO nice we could not force ourselves to leave and stayed another night. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Heavily shaded by wonderful big trees in nicer part of town at end road. Mostly a fixed mobile home park of older mobile homes which have obviously been here a lot longer than the newer big houses on the street. Long sites. Staff very nice. Given the RV parks in Del Rio area, this isn't any worse than most and with friendly owners doing their best and the trees are a big plus. Some general professional maintenance and site clean-up would be a big plus. Looked to us like there were mostly long termers here, based on all the stuff they had stored on their sites. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Part RV campground, Extended Stay, RV storage, and junk yard. Close to the lake is a plus if you don't mind the above. Pot marked asphalt road with sparsely graveled sites. Some trees in an area void of trees. Park is adjacent to a storage business and a one star hotel. If you only want a one night stay it is an OK site but there is a better campground closer to town "something Mill" - can't remember the first name. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Older and could use some TLC but OK for a one night. Tree at my site made it harder to get out than should have been. No one in office next day so left money with the coffee crew. Quiet and I can't remember about the Wi-Fi working or not. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is not a 10 if you rate the facilities against a typical good RV resort/park. But, it is a 10 in friendliness, little extras, great cable and Wi-Fi (both free), incredibly friendly and helpful staff and residents. Park has a "cantina" with coffee/cookies/chips, nice TV viewing, an activity every day, very cozy places to congregate in comfortable chairs. Someone very thoughtful runs this park - that more than makes up for the few things that detract from the park ambiance. We are staying longer and will come back. Close to everything. There are trees and park vegetation. Like being in a friendly neighborhood where neighbors like to visit and chat. We camped here in a Motorhome.
