This place is OK if you just need a a place to spend the night driving by, but not worth driving out of your way to get to. Most of the park is filled with permanent residents and the overall look of the place is a little rough. Having said that those that we talked to were nice and you do feel safe because a Highway Patrol person lives there and thus parks their patrol car there. The sites are unlevel gravel. The hookups worked, as well as the cable and Wi-Fi. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Wi-Fi was great, that is where the nice things I can say end. The spaces are rough gravel and very uneven, add to that the pull throughs put you so close to the next unit as to leave a foot of space between the slides if you both have them and we did. Although they are pet friendly if your pet gets off the gravel driveways they will be covered with grass burrs. We found this out to late and had a major job picking them from our dogs fur. The people there were friendly and there is a Texas Highway Patrol man living on site to make you feel safe. We would only stay here again as a last resort though. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very friendly owner. Clean, safe and easy to find. Not a resort, but a good place to spend a night or two. The mobile home part is on the outside area and the RV spaces are in the middle. Mostly workers in the homes, but a quiet place and the owner lives on the premises. Wi-Fi, cable, and full hookups at a good rate. Will use this place again when in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We enjoyed our stay here. The spaces are about 50 feet wide and plenty long for any length RV.. Best and friendliest people you could ask to meet. Spaces were grass over gravel, did not have to do much side leveling. Main road in park was paved. We were told they had plans on building showers and restrooms in the future. Wi-fi worked very well as well as the cable. We stayed two extra days here. We were told of some activities available in the Grosbeck area including Christmas at the Fort, (Old Fort Parker Restoration in December). Plan on coming back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
