The management was friendly. It was nice to be close to the interstate. We were only passing through. My husband and I were happy with the park. We would recommend this park to friends. It is not anything much to speak of as far as look go but it was a park we would go back to next time we are passing through. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is an intercity, residential park. We stopped for the night, which was fine. It is right next to the highway interchange. Nothing special, but we would stop overnight again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We were in Houston for a dog show at the Reliant Center and chose not to dry camp there. We selected All Star for its relatively easy travel route (Houston traffic considered). Full hook-ups and trees are very nice. Although the park is only about 3 blocks from a major expressway, we found it peaceful and quiet. Approximately half of the sites are occupied by long-termers, but their sites were maintained, as was the entire park. We would certainly consider this park for future use. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Definitely not a resort as it is 80% or more full with permanent type residents. Still it is an OK choice for being this close into Houston. We had a pull through which was fine. The back ins would have been a little bit of a challenge for a trailer but OK for other RV's. Well maintained. No problems with noise or trash even with the large number of permanent occupants. Definitely OK for an overnight stay and / or if you need to be close into Houston. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is a bit outside the comfort zone to be considered "conveniently close" to downtown Houston. Park was overall borderline in our opinion. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful. Most campers were long term. Site spacing was horrible. Tow vehicle parking leaves a lot to be desired if your in a back-in site. Site angle is straight-in with a narrow driveway. A fabrication shop located just outside the fence line of this park, was quite noisy throughout the day (M-F). We stayed 3 nights, will not stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This was an okay park. It seems most campers were there long term which is fine. The pull through sites were easy to access, and the park is just off the highway. My kids checked out the restrooms and showers and said they were just okay. We were visiting family in Houston so we didn't need a lot of 'features'; and stayed only a couple of nights. We stayed here for 2 nights hoping to use it as a base for exploring Houston. The park is nice, a little close to the highway, but not too bad. It is a long drive to get to Houston downtown and not any other options (public transportation) close. The park was an 8, location (for what we were looking for) was a 3. We wouldn't stay here again. This is an outstanding park. Very close to downtown Houston but is quiet and has a great atmosphere. Owners are friendly and very helpful.Sites are all concrete and pretty close together but had no trouble getting into them. The pool,hot tub,and bathrooms were immaculate. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the Houston area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Centrally located to most amenities, as well as medical center, and Galleria. Very quiet based on location, very helpful staff, friendly folks. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We called to make reservations. The staff was very helpful with directions to park. Interior roads are paved with mostly trimmed trees. The park was landscaped well, and the facilities were maintained well. Swimming pool, spa, and rec room were immaculate. I suggest you disconnect towed vehicle on street outside park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

First off we could hardly get backed into our site because of the closeness of the other sites across the road and the corner where we were trying to get. Sites are way too close together our back bumper was almost touching the back bumper of trailer behind us. Our sewer connection ran uphill and when we put our slideout out it was into the bushes and we didnt even have room to park our truck in front or beside the trailer. Thank goodness we were only staying one nite. Will never ever stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A nice park in a hard to access questionable neighbor hood. Staff could be a bit friendlier. They have done a good job landscaping here though. We camped here in a camper.

The park is acceptable in that everything works and sites are level. However, it does not look very attractive and the permanent residents tend to be noisy and cause some issues. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice KOA. It was quiet and generally clean. A nice couple owns the park and they are always on site and available, and they are nice and helpful. The real problem with this site is that there is nothing of real interest nearby. It is very close to the airport and that is a convenience for some. However, the neighborhood is basically industrial/commercial and does have some convenience stores and small drive through restaurants but it is not convenient to most of the things people probably go to see in Houston. We were visiting family in Houston Heights and it was the most convenient place for that. Overall, it is a nice camp but it is not a "destination." If I were going back for another visit I would stay there again. My biggest complaint was that Houston is hot in July and most of the sites do not have shade. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

If you are going to Houston for something in the northern part of town then Central KOA is the place. There is good access to the main freeways (I-45, US-59, Hardy Toll Road and Beltway 8) but the neighborhood itself is light industrial and near enough to the airport to hear the early morning departures. The campsite is family operated by a nice couple that lives on-site and has all the usual amenities. The condition of the campsite seems to depend on whether Work Campers are currently employed or not. I’ve seen it both ways. Without the help routine housekeeping doesn’t get done. We stayed here to visit the NASA Space Center which was about 35 miles away. Nice site but we choose a pull through site and these are very narrow. With four slideouts out, it was necessary to walk on the grass to access the coach. Some noise was suffered from the adjacent industrial works and also from the highway. However, the facilities were good, clean and all working and we would stay here again. However, we would choose a back in site which were much wider. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a great little park, the staff was very nice, and all the amenities worked great. We look forward to coming back through. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Consider this an addendum to my April review. At the time of check-in, guests are offered the free use of a remote control device, which opens and closes the security gate. They do hold a small deposit, which is returned upon check-out. If memory serves, the amount was $35.00, regardless of the length of your stay. This is another thoughtful Lakeview amenity, if you ask me, and I can't imagine anyone turning it down. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is probably the best all-around RV Park that I've found in several years of full-time RVing; it is truly a "resort". What I appreciate most is management's obvious commitment to spend the money necessary to keep it nice. We spent the winter here, and plan to return this fall. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I didn't care for one female manager: found her to be rude and unhelpful in many situations. Her husband was okay. I did love the pool and hot tubs: wish they would keep them open daily though. We stayed here for several months. The indoor hot tub was down for repair, the outdoor hot tub was dirty alot and also down a lot for repair too. The pool is only open when the weather is warm enough to not run their bill to heat. The same with the outdoor hot tub: shut off when it's cold to save money. The whole reason I stayed here was to get in the hot tub in the winter months! When I made the reservation they told me the hot tubs were both open all year round: not true. Has a nice workout room, most of equipment worked and we liked the pool table. Don't try to use it on the weekend though as lots of people use it. The neighborhood is not nice but convenient to downtown and it is gated. But it is still easy for non-users to access. I have stayed here twice, when the hot tubs are actually on, I do enjoy it here! We camped here in a Campground Cabin.

Managers went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and to help out when possible. We booked late when they had few openings. My only issue was that we had a forty foot back in site with a forty foot unit, and the fellow behind had gone over his back line which put us partially on the road. Luckily the park has nice wide roads which left us lots of room. The sites are well laid out with ample room to get in and out and to maneuver. Nice clean well laid out park, close to down town and perfect for our 5 days in Houston. I would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Check-in was professional, but not overly friendly. Our site was very tight, narrow and not very long, but it did fit our 40' motorhome. We were only here for an overnight stop and it was noisy. The resort was very clean and had a clean dog run. The resort is gated, and you need a code to get in or out. The roads are paved as are the sites. There were quite a few long-term residents, but their sites were neat. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a true resort. Cement pads and access roads, full service club house, exceptionally clean, security access gates. We had a lake site, which was really nice. A little pricey, but did I say it was exceptionally clean? We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great Park.... Clean and well run...Best park in Houston. Only drawback is not too many spots for big rigs but they will try to accommodate. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very clean, well managed park. Private shower rooms, pretty pool and lake, large laundry area. Some grass, but mostly concrete. Security code for gate day and night. Convenient and safe. Stayed four days with two dogs in trailer. Highly recommend. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We only stayed in the park for a couple of nights because we were traveling through the area. If I were to spend any time at all in the Houston area, I would pick this park. The sites were level and spacious and the park was very clean and the long-term residents kept their sites very neat. This is a good indication of good management of the park. The park is gated so there should be no security issues. We would recommend this park to anyone. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The Lakeview RV Park is new with concrete streets and pads. It has a large recreation room with computer area and Wi-Fi throughout the park. Free popcorn, exercise area, hot tub and swimming pool. The shuttle to the Medical Center is also available here. A loop around the perimeter of the park is about one mile, so two loops is just about right for us and Jake in the mornings. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground was very clean and well maintained. Swimming pool and spa were both clean (and a 2nd indoor spa was a nice touch). Grounds (including nice palm trees near pool) were well landscaped. Convenient to Reliant Stadium for us. Relaxation center had popcorn, use of computer, printer and nice view of a man-made lake. "Community grills" were clean and very convenient. My only negative is I thought the daily rate for "water view" was a bit high. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for two weeks and throughly enjoyed ourselves. The resort was very clean and well maintained. All of the staff were friendly and informative. I will stay again on my way through Houston. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Most convenient park to metro Houston beside South Main RV Park which is about a mile closer than Lakeview. Lakeview is new, clean, has nice facilities, and is well maintained. Sites are small but when ranking against other Houston RV parks it has to have a high rating. I like Rayford and Advanced but given Lakeview's location it edges the others out. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great Park. Was clean and well run. The construction work around the park was the only problem, but not too bad. WiFi didn't work 100% but all in all, was okay. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The location wasn't scary to us. Easily located off of Rt 90/Main St.. The WiFi worked great and was NO CHARGE! Everything was as clean and tidy as a nice hotel! Concrete pads and roads. Great work out area with built in spa. The heater in the pool was working and the pool was warm and clean. There is a beautiful community area with cards, puzzles and games that over look the man made lake. The owner was on site and helped with anything we asked. The other campers were friendly. This place is a destination location for us. Close to the Medical/Museum districts and Rice University as well as Reliant Stadium. Convenient to 610Loop. Love it! We will be back! We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very nice park, tidy, clean. Sketchy area, mostly industrial, but park is gated. Lower rating reflects four negatives: 1. Tight sites that require guests to choose between opening a patio awning and parking 100 yards distant or parking next to their rigs and never sitting outside. 2. Lots of traffic noise, and 3. Inoperable pool heater (to be replaced soon). 4. WiFi provided by a third party, works intermittently and carries additional layer of advertising For an additional $10 per night, you can be located away from the road and near the lake, if sites there become available. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is one of the cleanest parks that I have been to. The view of the lake is beautiful. The exercise area is clean and relaxing. The restrooms and showers are immaculate. Not a place for young children since there is not much for them to do. If you are just passing through Houston Texas in your RV this is the place to hold up for the night. I have never stayed at any of the Outdoor World resorts so I can't compare to them but this is the nicest set up campground I have stayed at. It was clean, quiet, and roads were wide and sites easy to get in and out of. A great for one night or longer. I'm not sure if children would find a lot to do in planned activities. Very nice gated RV park. Staff was friendly and helpful. All sites are concreted and level. Very wide interior roads. Park has a centrally located lake, heated swimming pool, and a playground. I would have rated it a 10 if there were more shade trees and the noise level due to traffic was less. Of course, being in the city makes that out of the owner's control. Very conveniently located to the medical centers, Reliant Stadium, etc. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I almost called back and cancelled my reservation after a very arrogant man took my information, but I didn't know the options for parks in this part of Houston is limited. It turned out to be a nice, clean facility, but with a rather sterile feeling. I was concerned that the indoor spa is in the same room with the pool table, exercise equipment and meeting room. The spa has no enclosure, no fence, no gate so please be careful with small children! The park isn't in the greatest part of Houston, but it is extremely close to Reliant Stadium, which is why we chose to stay there. It does have very nice security system indicative of the owner's vast experience with public mini-storage facilities. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very new park. Nicely laid out. Each site has cement pad for easy leveling of your RV. There is a large pond with a fountain in the center of the park. There are some seasonal sites but you really couldn't tell. The laundry facility were large and clean. While doing your laundry you can go right into the rec. room. There you are in a large room with full glass windows that face the pond/lake. It is a very nice touch. They pop free popcorn & brew free coffee, nice comfy couches, large screen TV, game tables including a pool table. They even have a cabinet full of games you can play. The hot tub is in here as well. They do not have wireless internet but with a refundable deposit they give you a modem that gives you D.S.L. This is by far one of the nicer parks we have stayed in and we stay in a lot. Only one thing to be negative about. If you are placed along the row of sites (63 - 76) you are right next the a very busy highway. The traffic noise is very loud and constant. Trucks, cars and motorcycles etc. When building the park, they should have taken this in consideration and built a wall or something to help deaden the noise. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park especially for one located so close to downtown Houston. The park owner has made every attempt to provide a safe and attractive location on the edge of a commercial area. I mention this as many of you who may be looking at this park may be concerned about its location. Safety is clearly paramount and taken seriously. During our stay we experienced a major lightning storm that damaged the security gate. While it was repaired(about two days) a security guard was stationed at the gate. We were very impressed! For those considering the park while receiving care at the nearby medical centers we found it to be less than 10 minutes each way. Several restaurants and grocery stores are available along this path. The laundry was clean and servicable and the pools appeared well kept. The only reason I did not give the park a 10 was for traffic noise. It can be loud here, however, I was placed near the highway so other areas may be quieter. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Outstanding facilities and amenities. Rate entered is monthly. Someone spent serious $$'s on this place. Friendly, helpful staff, quick to resolve any problems. Large concrete pads, with all hookups. Free DSL is a little slow (10 Mps). Cable service is OK, could use some more channels. The only negative is the area and road noise, but you can't beat the place for convenience to D/T Houston and the medical center. Fishing lake (catch & release) is a real treat. Expansion is 90% complete as we speak, adding 34 perimeter spaces. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I'm going to go ahead and say this place was great!!! We headed for the area to visit family and quickly learned it was not only spring break but the Houston Rodeo time. So we found it hard to find an RV site anywhere near the city. We got lucky and found this place had a spot due to a cancellation. We liked it so much we decided to stay one more day for a total of 4 and walked into the office where the husband and wife team who ran it were very friendly. I still can not believe this to this day. They said to just stay the extra day at no charge....FREE! This was during the Houston Rodeo where as many as a hundred thousand visitors are in town with RVs who would have paid a hundred dollars for that site. Ok now the facilities. The lake is beautiful. The only thing I did not like was no dogs were allowed on the paved walking paths all around the lake. That is stupid since 80% of RVers take their pets with them. It did have a first class club house with games, movies, huge screen TV, soft couches, and a computer room for use -- free. As far as the previous complaints about the area? It was not that bad. This place was well sealed in fences and gates. So we ended up going to the Rodeo and liked that too. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Large, giant concrete lot surrounding a square, man-made lake. Near a main road. However, this was a very nice place considering it's location. The pool was wonderful - clean, waterfall, beach-type area. The hot tub was very nice. The landscaping was beautiful, as was the club house. This was a really nice park with easy access to major Houston areas. It is right off Beltway 8 and South Main Street. We would recommend this park to travelers to the Houston area that want a very nice park in town. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Beautiful RV Park. You can tell they've sunk some $$ into the landscaping and amenities. Very nice park for kids (all fenced in), nice pool, running/walking track around lake, several very nice BBQ enclosures with grill and tables. Just a overall great RV park. The best rv resort we have ever stayed at. They have a great pool, awesome work out facilities, and cable. Only downside is wifi..at office only. The staff is helpful, nice & polite. Wish every "campground" was like this. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here for a week for a car race at Reliant Stadium. We used the city bus to get to the stadium every day. It stops right in front of the park, and goes right by the stadium. Extremely convenient, but be aware that Houston buses aren't great about timeliness, but they do show up. The park is meticulously maintained and had the nicest utility hookups I've ever seen. Not a great neighborhood, and absolutely nothing within walking distance. But convenient access for activities in Houston. We camped here in a Motorhome.

It is a very nice park. We have to go to the Medical Center alot so this is the perfect park for us to stay in when my husband is there for tests. The place is very nice, pretty lake, we had a perfect spot right by the lake. They also have cabins there that are very nice. I will definitely stay here many more times. This is a new and very nice park. The only reasons we could not give this park a 10 are traffic and railroad noise because of it's urban location, WiFi only available in the clubhouse area, and no washing of vehicles allowed. We really enjoyed the convenience of it's location and the helpfulness of the office staff. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Let me say that the park is beautiful and the owner has spent a lot of money on it. The area of town where the park is located leaves something to be desired, but it is close to the hospital district. My complaint is with the management. When I checked in, I was not told of any rules or regulations on parking. The back-in sites are rather short, so I backed in deeply with my rear stabilizer jacks on the grass. After I had gotten backed in (I was alone), leveled and was just about ready to go pick up my wife, the "manager" came by and told me I would have to pull up and get off the grass. I told him that I understood the rule, I just resented having it given to me after I had already set up. I later saw others parked on the grass and they were not made to move. I will NEVER go back to this park and cannot recommend it to anyone else. Stay Away!! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Very old park that hasn't had any updates in years. Very difficult to park as streets are narrow, plus towed vehicles are parked in front of RVs, thus if there isn't a vacant spot across from you or you aren't on in end or you have something longer than 32 feet, forget it. Also a problem with having enough room with slides. Lots of permanents. Over-priced for what is available. Really needs to be remodeled. Staff was very friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Location was hard to enter from road but once in the park, there is plenty of room for big rigs. The site we had, sloped and it was gravel, we had a difficult time getting it level, as the trailer was sinking in the gravel at critical points. Once settled, it was fine. The office was plenty friendly, provide wireless Internet from sites and also a connection for hardwire in the office for use. It is located next to 610 so noise from freeway was quite noticeable outside, inside not a problem. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Going for this park is its location. The staff was very friendly and the facilities were modern and clean. They even received mail for me. The space between sites was not sufficient in some cases even to extend your awning. Even the pads were too narrow. I would go back here because of the convenience only and price. The place was convenient for us and not far from restaurants and groceries. The problem I incurred was there was not enough bathrooms available when I needed them. I was told by the security guard that there were other bathrooms but not heated (it was cold while we were there). All in all in was a good place to stay and I would stay again. Be aware that is it is noisy for those who like quiet. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Sites are very small. Very clean park and staff are very very friendly. Residence and visitors of the park where friendly too. The flea market is next door and with a short walk you'll have a fun visit. We had to leave when the flea market was in full swing. To say the least, exiting the area in a big rig across 4 lanes with no traffic control was exciting. Everyone was in a hurry to go nowhere. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park was clean and convienient but Wifi had a charge and the electrical had to be fixed(THANK GOD FOR MY SURGE PROTECTOR)otherwise not bad. We stayed here three days and snuck out on Sunday A:M because of traffic, would stay here again but hopefully not. Used our GS for discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a nice park with a friendly staff. It is located right next, or part of, a large flea market and is very well maintained. WIFI is available, but only through a third party service at a rate of $4.95/day. The paved and level sites are very tight and there is room for slide outs but no room to extend a canopy. There is room for parking a vehicle behind your coach. There were plenty of trash cans available and the park itself was modern and spotless. I would have rated this park better IF the RV sites were larger. I do not exaggerate when I say that when we came out of the door to our coach, it was only about 4 feet away from the extended slide out of our neighbor's coach. There does appear to be two separate RV areas at this location. We were parked in the front section and the rear section may be different. I got the impression that the rear section was more for long term campers. If you are so inclined, the flea market is within walking distance and the surrounding area appears to be a nice clean area of Houston. Besides the small sites, the bad part about this park is that it is in Houston and you have to drive through Houston's notorious highways to get there. It is not the easiest thing to do with a motorhome. If I had to be in the area, I would stay here again as it is perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a good choice for a west Houston base. It’s in a quiet area just west of the toll-way. If you’re there on weekends you have the bonus of the giant marketplace on site. Sites are a bit close together, but are nicely laid out. Our 50-amp utilities worked fine in our pull-through site. Rigs in this popular park are mostly newer and well kept. The laundry is convenient and inexpensive ($1 wash). There is a pool and a sketchy mini-golf course. Wi-fi is Tengo ($5/day, etc) but worked well for us. The cost, around $28 with tax for Good Sam/AAA, is reasonable for such a nice campground so close to a major city. We had some open sky to look at out the front, and there were no obstructions for our satellite. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Clean park for the metro Houston area. Not much area between spots, but what do you expect. I know of no other park that is easier to get to for the Houston area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Campground is a little bit noisy with a fair amount of traffic moving thorough at night. To be fair, our site was next to the entrance road to the park. Sites are very close together but was able to fit with slides out. No way to put awning out. We would stay here again if back in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here using Good Sam. We had one of the larger pull thru sites. Nice concrete pads and streets. Park is well maintained and everyone was friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a clean park with very narrow sites. No clubhouse is available, and their mini market consists of a few candy bars. Staff was friendly. Most of the people in the park seem to work at the adjacent flea market on week ends. No planned activities are available. We stayed here only because of friends nearby, but I don't believe we'd return. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good parking place. Wifi is Tengointernet, and while the signal was good, the connection was erratic. Sites are narrow, and most of the folks seem to have been around a while. Little noise, but still convenient to the freeway system. Not a destination, unless the flea market is your thing, but a good enough base for doing Houston. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was a very nice campground. Big and rather like a parking lot but very clean. All pads were concrete and level with a strip of grass between. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Location was convienient to highways and stores. The campground is adjacent to and part of a large weekend flea market. Weekends get pretty crowded, but the upside is that as a registered camper you avoid the admission fee if you're into flea markets. The office personel were friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
