Old, junked up campground. We had reservations but forfeited our payments as it was just too dirty and junky to feel safe in staying. Owner very friendly, but the campground was nearly full of rigs permanently or near permanently parked. Just not acceptable for us. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This RV Park was off-the-beaten path and not very easy to find. We arrived after dark and there was no signage to help us figure out where the park was located. It's in a residential area on top of White Rim Mountain. But, once we found the office and phone number to call, the owner came down to help us get parked. The view was simply spectacular and the owner was very accommodating. Will definitely return in the future. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is a very small park actually on top of a mountain with what has to be one of the best views in the area. Beautiful hill country of Texas with Lake Travis in the distance. No shade but the breeze on the mountain top keeps one cool. There are only 10 sites with full hookups, and a small laundry room. It is on the north side of Lake Travis and convenient to Cedar Park, Leander and other towns north of Austin. The road into the park is steep, very steep, but the resulting view is worth it. The owner lives on site. Be sure to call before arrival to be sure a site is available. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Quiet, out of the way campground. Great (distant) view of Lake Travis. If you want a place that is very quiet and out of the way, this is it. Climb is a little steep up to the campground, we disconnected the toad, no problem. We camped here in a Motorhome.
