We parked our RV in the driveway of relatives in Lamesa, so we didn't actually camp here, but we drove to the campground and confirmed that there are electrical hookups at each site. There is a sewer dump, a trash container, and there is also a water spigot. No toilet facility however. Our relative who drove us by the site told us the park was often full of RVs, but there were none the day we drove by. It is in a nice part of town, surrounded by pretty park land. Review entry form doesn't allow entering $0, but the campsites are free nonetheless. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Based on the other reviewers comments we stopped here. It felt very isolated and in a not-so-good area of town. There are no restrooms or showers. We decided to keep traveling. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a free city operated campground in the city park. The campground is close to playground etc. but far enough away to offer some privacy. This would be a great stop over for people with kids or dogs. Water and electric are included, as well as a dump station. This is a small friendly community where "chicken fried steak" was "invented" at a local cafe. As marked, sites are on an uphill slope, so not overly level. However when I came back this year people were parked sideways across the top of each site. This allows for level pull through parking, and the city doesn't seem to mind. Older trees offer good shade. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Camped at La Vedara for only one night, but the campground was clean, sites long and level, and the owner very friendly and helpful. Good access and egress. As noted in other review, 100 amp was available. The campground has a great store. This is a great place for a short/overnight stay. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We spent one night at the RV park on our way through. Very friendly owners. No shade available on the daily/weekly sites but they were nice and wide with grass. Also recommend the breakfast burrito. Easy access in and out. The store was very well stocked. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park opened only a year and a half ago. The owner operated a smaller older park, so knew that campers wanted spots they could easily get in to. Spaces are about the easiest to get in and out of that I have seen at a park. Roads are wide, and spaces all long pull-through. Spaces are all full hookup, and have up to 100 amp electric service. There is no cable or internet. There is a real store in the park, not the tiny "stores" with a couple hundred dollars of inventory that some parks call a store. The office/store is open till 10pm, and till Midnight on weekends, which is nice for late check ins. The park owners also own a popular Mexican restaurant off site, so tasty breakfast burritos are sold at the store if you get there early. There is a large indoor meeting hall. They also do RV repairs. I found the park clean (except for too many cigarette butts on the ground). The owners are friendly and make you feel welcome. Rate reflects the weekly rate, with a 25% Good Sam discount. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
