The rate reflects Good Sam rate. The park is in a residential area and is very nice. Sites are relatively level. Several cats roam through the park, and in one corner it sounds like there is a dog kennel. Any type of sirens or noise sets them off. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The staff goes above and beyond to be friendly and make sure you're up on what the park has to offer and tells you all you need to know about tours and bus schedules if you need them. The Grand Tour that left from the RV park was worth every penny. We never had to fight traffic. The tour guides are great as was all the sights we saw in San Antonio. The park is quiet and clean with friendly folks great Wi-Fi and cable. We stayed here two days. Pretty good access from the 1604 loop. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is advertised as a Luxury resort. Not sure I'd go that far, but it is a nice place. We were in a 41 'RV and had some very close calls getting into the lane our site was on and getting onto our assigned pad. The only other aggravation was that the pad was narrow and the sewage dump port was uphill from the pad. Kind of a pain to empty your hose uphill. Otherwise, the front building/reception/store area is very nice as well as a very nice heated pool, which we did not use, but a lot of people were enjoying it. They gave us Wi-Fi free the first day, but you have to buy it after that. For the price of the site, you'd think Wi-Fi would be included. For those with smaller rigs, this park should be very enjoyable. But for big rigs, it's negotiable, but tedious in my opinion. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice park, but expensive; sites paved as are the access roads. Bathrooms are nice, but they have an issue with getting moisture out of the shower areas as they were wet and sometimes muddy most of the time. They say they are big rig friendly, but not true for all sites. Lots of trees on most sites and these cause an issue with getting in and out of sites. Ask when you get there about the site. We have a forty foot fifth wheel and it was very hard to get in and out. Some sites are very close together which is an issue also if you have slide outs. It has a nice pool and store. Would not stay here again because of price, not worth 60 dollars a night. Wi-Fi is not available unless you pay extra. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is quiet, sites are not level, almost humped with gravel and there are TONS of stickers so beware when taking your dogs out. Remember to wear your bracelet to the pool or they'll kick you out of the pool. Curbside trash pickup is nice. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Large mobile home park with spacious pull through sites. We were along one side where there was some earth work going on, but it stopped at dusk. Not all streets are marked, so following map wasn't the easiest. Office stays manned until 9 pm. Most others closed by 5 which seems crazy. Nice lady in office. Premium price since all parks were full, which is terrible. Had to bypass cable TV and use antenna to get network channels. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is OK, the staff is friendly, but the lots for overnight are not at all as nice as on the pictures. The park is very noisy because of the permanents coming and going 24 hours a day. Speed limit is not respected despite of the horrible bumps. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Weekly and monthly rates available. Well lighted and clean. Washers/dryers. Tractor/trailer hooking and un-hooking next door can get a little noisy but they have the best rates in the area. About 15 miles from Lackland AFB and buses to and from downtown. We were going to say for 3 weeks but decided to say an extra month. Very nice people and staff. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This RV park is in very bad shape and should not be open. The roads have deep pot holes everywhere. The sites are narrow and utilities are on the wrong side for hooking up. My rate is based on a monthly stay of $355 per month. The lady that works nights is very friendly. There are no rules in this park, but it is quiet, and all dogs are on a leash. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is an older park that has not seen many upgrades in recent years. Most of the water hookups are on the wrong side of the sites. Old asphalt sites with a small concrete patio. Laundry available with reasonable prices. Management is friendly and helpful as they are RV'ers themselves. If you are looking for a resort park this is not it! This is a basic older park with no frills. It is relatively clean but the grass has overgrown many of the sites. It is gated at night and on weekends. Park is good for overnight or for touring San Antonio. Easy access to Hwy. 90 and loop 410. Convenient to Lackland AFB and the usual shopping stores. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park had a lot of semi permanent working folks. They were well behaved, but it is a real stretch to call it a resort. It was next to the Interstate, but we did not have a noise problem. San Antonio has much for visitors to see, so we didn't spend much time in the trailer. The $20 rate was Passport America. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Not a destination campground - appears to be longterm stays. We phoned an hour out and were told there was 1 spot open as someone had left early. After finding the RV park and quickly visually assessing the grounds (filthy, cluttered, unkempt), we headed in to the office. We were told a site # and which road to take to get to it. Could not find any site markers to indicate sites. Many units were parked back to back, others seemed randomly placed. Little to no room between rigs that were there. Major highway along one edge of property. Since we couldn't find site and no one offered us any help, we decided since we hadn't paid, we weren't staying and drove away. Will not go back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent 2 nights here. This is not a great place, but the price was right, and we were able to ride our bikes into downtown San Antonio to see the Riverwalk, and the Alamo, plus a couple of missions along the way. The nicest part of this park is the entrance, which is very nice, but it goes downhill from there. Most of the sites are occupied long term...the grass is not mowed, and the sites are not very level. I would not stay here again. Rate quoted is Passport America. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very good value for the price ($25.31 with discount) particularly for a KOA. Located in a recreational area of San Angelo within easy drive to all major retail services. Although there seem to be a lot of permanent guests, it was clean and quiet. Sites are pea gravel and level and all services worked well including cable and Wi-Fi. Operators are very friendly and helpful and facilities are very clean We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

I'll start off by saying we've stayed here before and had issues with what happens in the reservation process on the website. What you are picking and what they actually have available are two different things, and it was no different this time. I was in town to take my daughter and two friends to concert, so we only stayed one night. I knew going in the site size might be an issue. We didn't partake in activities and only used the restrooms, at the office area, not the ones that look like an old gas station restroom in the back. Front restrooms by the pool and office are in good condition and were clean. Park is well manicured, and from year to year it looks like improvements are always being made from landscaping to security surveillance and gated entrance. Now the trouble I have regarding the reservations: here is an email snip-it from KOA: Your Campsite: Pull-thru, Full hookups, 50/30 amp, Cable, WiFi Our LARGE SITE Some with patios are very popular, accommodate g very large units. These go quick, so reserve yours today! (yes that "g" was in the email, it was unaltered) I had to move sites and still had to park the truck perpendicular to our 5th wheel and partially in the neighbor's space to fit. Wasn't a big deal as we only stayed one night. But this is an on going problem for this park, read my other posts about this KOA. Leveling wasn't that bad, only 4 to 5" slope, easily corrected. Everything else was fine as far as cable - about 25 channels, didn't use wifi this time, good cell connection with Sprint, no trash anywhere, no loud barking dogs, etc. Just wish the reservation system was a little more accurate, especially when it comes to choosing sites based on size, amenities and price. I'm a KOA member, so price is based on a 10% reduction. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, campground was very well maintained and attractive. They furnished a lot of information about the area and how to get downtown. Although they recommended using the bus to go downtown, driving and parking downtown wasn't a real problem, even during Fiesta. They are presently improving WIFI connections and they placed us in a site that has excellent reception and worked very well. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here 2 nights while sightseeing in the San Antonio area. The park is quiet and clean. Its terrain is typical of the Texas hill country (rocky, not much grass). Note that there is a huge grassy area with kids play equipment near the bathrooms which worked out perfect for our pets (yes, we picked up after them). The site was level and the roads easy for our 35' Trailer+ 20' Truck to get around in. The management was very accommodating and responded quickly to our emails. We had good Data service with Verizon. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We had read good reviews of this RV park in the Texas Travel and Camping Guide and decided this is the RV park we were going to stay in. However, when we pulled into the park to register the office was closed in the middle of the day on a Sunday. Sign in the driveway said to pick a space and they would come register us the next day. We pulled in to find a space and the park is old and unkept with gravel roads and spaces and weeds growing up around the permanent residents in the park. We pulled out of the park and found another RV park to stay in for a week. We talked to at least three other RV'ers at the new park we stayed at and discovered they had done the same thing we had, which was to pull in and make the decision to leave. I would not recommend this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Price reflects a 10% AAA membership discount. This is an older, wooded park located in the outskirts of San Antonio with lots of restaurants and shopping close by. The owners appear to be fairly laid back. The office was closed when we arrived. The sign said to find a site and they’d catch up to us later. We did and the next day around 10am, someone stopped by with a registration form and asked us to drop it off at the office before 5pm. The sites are gravel and grass, fairly level, and big. The restrooms, showers, and laundry are all older buildings, but very roomy and clean. It appeared that the majority of residents were long-term, but their sites were relatively clean, and the park had a quiet atmosphere even during the evening. The Mexican restaurant that another reviewer mentioned was closed the five nights we were there. There was a “Restaurant For Lease†sign at the front of the park. The only difficulty we had was with the wi-fi. We didn’t purchase the park’s wi-fi since we have a Sprint Hot Spot. But, our hot spot worked horribly the entire time we were there. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

CAUTION: When traveling to park from I-37, do not take Southcross as there is a steep railroad crossing "hump." Military Drive is much better. This park is 3.5 mi. from the downtown Riverwalk and The Alamo, and 3/4 mi. from Mission San Jose. The park is beautifully maintained - landscaping trimmed, gravel sites raked, bathrooms, showers and laundry room very clean. A new dog area opened recently and the playground has been updated. Sites on the south end of the park (farthest from the office) are spacious with plenty of room for slideouts and a nice grass area between sites. The north end of the park is more crowded. Best to make reservations in advance as this park books up in winter and shoulder seasons. Some noise from Roosevelt Ave. (sirens, motorcycles) can be heard in the park and trains can be heard (about 1/2 mile away). This park, the upkeep, the employees, and even the long-term residents (about 20%) make you feel comfortable. We recommend this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Decided to stay at this RV Park due to other reviews and were not disappointed. Very clean and well kept grounds. Sites were level, shaded and had concrete patios. In order to avoid trying to find parking in downtown San Antonio we decided to take the bus to the Alamo and River Walk. The bus had a stop in front of the Travelers World office which made it very convenient. We would definitely stay at this RV Resort again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I made reservations for 2 sites for Motorhomes towing a vehicle and told them we planned to use the bus line and did not want to have to unhook. Well, they put us in the lettered (instead of numbered) sites at Allegro Circle (North end). The electric for the 2 sites was on a single pedastal at the very back of the site. We had to unhook and put the MH's at the back of the sites. The folks in the office were friendly and nice but just failed to have a clue. They assigned a toy hauler to that same area and he had to pull in backwards due to a tree. We had been here about 6 or 7 years ago and were towing fifth wheels and they put us in two of the center pull through sites which were fine and we did not have to unhook. But use caution on them as some also have the electric near the back and might require an extension cord or unhooking your tow vehicle if you have a motorhome and your hookups aren't in the rear. Many people use this RV Park because of the bus service; parking downtown can easily run $20 or more. The center, pull-through sites are the nicest. But be sure you know where the hookups are based on what type of rig you have. The River Walk has also been expanded to this area and runs next to the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
