I have stayed at Dad's many times through the years. It is a friendly, comfortable, and convenient place to stay. At this time, because of a lot of construction in Victoria, most parks are full and overflowing. This visit, it was necessary to park in overflow parking--but, even so, we had full hookups. If you need to be there for a week or more, call ahead and every effort will be made to get you in a regular site. They have a very nice club house for rallies and there are some activities planned during the winter. Dad's is a safe and secure park without the frills. We camped here in a Motorhome.
They now charge $30 for overflow parking and the traffic noise is almost unbearable in the mornings. I'll never stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We use Dad's RV Park every year on our way to Brownsville, TX. The campground is always full, but Dad's has always been able to accommodate our 40 ft 5th Wheel for an overnight stay. Sites are really close so I wouldn't want to stay there for an extended period of time. However, most of the sites are filled with return visitors who stay for 3 and 4 months at a time. It has easy on/off access from the main road, is well-maintained and has an extremely friendly staff. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed two nights. The people running the park are friendly and helpful. Mainly seasonal RVs, we parked on the lane in overflow, facing the city park. Lots of cars and trucks running up and down the street in front. Trains were not a big deal - 1 or 2 a night, but are a few blocks away. Weird hook-ups (share post, 30 amp only, with extra sewer- long way away from rig). This is an old park, very clean, good laundry and they have recycling (good on them!!). OK for a night or two. Not a really safe area, but we had no trouble either. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Stayed for a month. Very nice people and very helpful. Location was not bad. Only problem was the train camp through during the night. But you get use to it. Overall a great place to stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice park located near old town Victoria. Right across the street from a city park and down the block from a convent. Camp host was very nice and accommodating. Only complaint is beyond their control... every night freight trains pass through town "Victoria is the cross-roads of Texas" and they blow their horns constantly as most of the streets do not have crossing-guards. We ran the ac fan all night in an attempt to drown it out but still very loud. Walking around the park it appears that the better sites are in the back but they are reserved in winter by their "winter Texans". Not a 10 star location but a nice place nonetheless. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a very nice, clean park. The owners were wonderful. Each pad is concrete with a small picnic table. Park residents are also very nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is one of our favorite parks. Nice wide pull thru sites, convenient hookups, well maintained grass and trees. Beautiful rec hall. Very friendly owners and staff. This park is a little hard to find but well worth the effort. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Dad's is always a favorite spot for us. Owners/staff are great. Sites/streets are concrete. Park is always clean. Sites are large. During winter, sno birds are here and very friendly. Lots of planned activities, including frequently Saturday breakfast (all you can eat pancakes, eggs, etc. for $3.50) and pot luck dinners. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The $19 rate is based on the weekly rate. Paved streets, paved, level pads, trees, grass, etc. As always, this is a great place for overnight or extended stay. The winter Texans are here so there is a lot of visiting and fun going on. Every other Saturday during the winter season, the owners sponsor a breakfast--all you can eat for $3.00. They do take care of the people that come here. We always enjoy coming back here. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Extremely nice campground, friendly staff and the showers are very clean. There is a nice park across the street. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very nice, friendly family owned park. I have stayed here many times in the past few years and it is always pleasant. A great overnight stop, or great place for Winter Texans. Concrete driveways and level concrete sites. Nice large club house for rallies, laundry facilities. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here on the Coast-To-Coast pass and paid $13.00 + $4.00. When we arrived, the park was full. The owner came out to meet us and told us that they were full, but that he would find us a place to park overnight. We were impressed with this since a lot of places would have said "sorry" and sent us down the road. He parked us on the driveway at the end of a row and provided a 50 amp extension cord and a water hookup. He then brought out parking cones and placed one at the front corner of the truck and the back corner of the trailer. We repeatedly thanked him for providing us a space and his reply was, "that's what we are here for". We highly recommend this park any time you are in the Victoria, Texas area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Have stayed here several times. Very nice staff, reasonable rates for back to back hookups. Concrete pads are in great shape and utilities work well. Will stay again without and hesitation. Many sites were taken by oil field workers and snow birds. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The park has cement pads and roadways. The road appears narrow but really has room for any big rig to get around. The sites are nice. The pull throughs are side by side which gave us nice space out our door. The staff is very nice and accommodating. They had some planned activities at the park as it is a mix of long term and short term campers. They make sure everyone is invited to the events. They escort you to the site and wipe the water and sewer connections off before you hook up. We were very please with the park and the city of Victoria. We will return to this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Passport America rate--Very nice park, large sites. We stayed here on our way to the Rio Grande Valley. Would stay here again--Concrete pads, reasonably level. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The new owners have made this a great place to overnight or even snowbird. There are some activities. Streets are wide concrete with concrete pads. When you are escorted to your site, they disinfect the water and sewer outlets and thank you for stopping. The folks are all friendly. We will stop here again. Easy on and off 59. Near the coast for the fishermen. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Spent one night on our way south. Nice park with narrow roads. On one side nice grassy area but the other side is very near your neighbor - it didn't present a problem. The Wi-Fi is extremely slow in the evening after everyone starts streaming or gets online. Restrooms were clean. The rate reflects 20% discount for Passport America membership. We would return for a night on our way back. Office staff helpful and friendly. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Only down side of this park is the narrow drives to the campsites. Well maintained facilities. Very nice staff. Rate shown is a 20% Escapees RV Club discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice people in office. It is an older park with cement pads, but the ground around them can be very soft, so watch your turns. Not tight but not spacious either. It is an older park that is well taken care of. OK for a couple of days We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice park with back to back hookups, Road inside very narrow concrete. You are led to your campsite. We have stayed here 3 or 4 times and will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Friendly staff, convenient location. Clean and well maintained RV Park. Free but very weak Wi-Fi, weak Verizon signal. Because of the construction going on in Victoria, sites in the area are at a premium. At this time, I suggest you call ahead. We have stayed here several times and find it a nice place for overnight or a few days. Passport America accepted--20% off in Winter months. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very clean park with the nicest staff we have run across so far in our travels. Check-in was fast and they escort you to your site and sanitize the connections in front of you. All sites were level and easy in and out. They have a small workout room with a few exercise machines and a nice pool table. They also have activities scheduled for a couple nights a week but we didn't have time to check those out. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great for a one night stop or for several nights. They are right on Highway 59 but we had no problem with road noise. We always make reservations for a one night stop since they appear to sell out each night. The sites are extra long and cement. The hookups are in the correct location so a motorhome with a TOAD fit right. Very friendly staff and the go so far as to give you a bag with dog treats along with a pair of gloves to help you if you dump before you leave. Little things like this go a long way. $25.50 Escapees rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Overnighted here New Years Eve on the way to RGV. Very friendly check-in, we were invited to the New Years party and potluck that evening. Very friendly fellow campers and CG owners at the party. The guy that led us to our spot asked if we were going to hook up to water and then sanitized the spigot for us then gave us a thank you card from the owners. Interesting hook ups, the rvs are off door side to off door side and the utilities are between them. Would camp there again. Rate reflects a 20% discount for P.A. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
I have never been to a park with such friendly office staff, from the person taking our reservation to the person checking us in to the person guiding us to our site. Nice clean park with plenty of room for walking the dog in an open area. Quiet park although on the frontage road of I-59. Good location into town since it's close to the loop. It was rainy but not muddy. We paid Good Sam price. Did not give it a 10 since it wasn't a true RV Resort but we would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very clean, well kept park. Our furnace had quit working and the management helped us get a repair company to do the repair. They went out of their way to help us. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice adult park, with good facilities. Concrete pads that are back to back hookups. Good power 20/30/50 amp plus cable. Only draw back is the narrow interior roads. Regular rate is $30 in season. Rate show is 20% discount for Passport America. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great staff, clean park. The sites were mostly concrete and that was a great improvement on some of the parks we have stayed in while here in Texas. My problem is as stated before in some of my reviews, the advertised Wi-Fi was not even up to dial up speeds, when it worked. Also, this day, the cable TV was not working at times. So if neither of these make any difference to you, then you will enjoy you visit. We camped here in a Motorhome.
If you are traveling on RT. 59 in Texas and need to stop: this might be the spot. It's easy on and off the highway, if you don't miss the exit. The restrooms were very nice and clean and the laundry was nice. The pool was green and cloudy and closed 2 of the days we were here. The sites were long enough. There are no trees or shade and the wind is constant, not always strong but constant. The staff was ok and helpful. All in all a nice place to stay the night. Watch out for the ducks and the parking police. Park how and where you are told. Our rate was PA. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very friendly park. We camp here back and forth to the RGV. Upon arrival they give you a pair of gloves to dump your tank and if you have pets they give you dog bones for your pets. They take you to your site and wash down the water nozzle for you with bleach so it is clean, then they give you a thank you card for staying with them. If you need any info they are happy to help you. This is a great place to stay and very pet friendly. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Next to Hwy 59 but road noise is not a problem. The sites are concrete and level. Restrooms and showers are very clean. Cable TV is good and has some HD channels. Owners and staff are very friendly and thanked us for the business. They gave out dog treats on 2 occasions. Verizon 3G service was strong for our data card. My rate was with the Escapees discount. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great stopover park, well maintained, owner/managers couldn't be more accommodating. Only down side is the roads are narrow. Pads are all concrete with excellent placement of hookups. Rate is winter Passport America rate 20% off $30 a night. Summer rate $30/$15 with PPA. Will stay again if in area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We found this jewel through Passport America and would rank it among the best RV parks we have ever stayed at. Not fancy or extra large, but the cleanest, friendliest RV park ever. The owners bought a swampy eyesore 3 or 4 years ago and have transformed it to a jewel. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is adjacent to HW 59 but road noise is not a problem. The sites are concrete and level. Restrooms and showers are very clean but not modern. WiFi works but not very fast. Cable TV is more than excellent. The pool is to small to swim. It is more like a giant bath tub. Owners and staff are very friendly and thanked us three times for the business. We stayed here four nights but it is, in our opinion, a park for an overnight stay. Although there are some Winter Texans. We would stay here again if heading south. The rate is one night PA (until November 1st) and three nights with 20% discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We arrived here with no reservation and they had a spot for us. Matter of fact, they offered us our choice of three different spots. The staff is very friendly and they escort you to your site and then give you a thank you note for staying with them. This is a A+ park and will make a point of staying here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We got lost using GPS - camp owner Ron came for us! Very clean campsite with paved sites and plenty of room. Small trees have not yet provided much shade. Bathrooms and showers very clean. Nice pool. Campground has a small pond with a family of ducks walking around the park. Owner has to be one of the nicest guys I have met! We would definitely stay her again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Wonderful little park right on US-59. That is the drawback too: lots of traffic noise. Otherwise a very clean neat park. Extra-friendly staff: even got a 'thank-you' note for staying with them!! Has a free pool table and weight room; a small pool and a duck pond. I paid the Passport America rate. Would definitely stay here again if passing through. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This park is convenient to the highway. It has gravel sites and friendly staff. Has local worker campers, but it's clean and I would stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Our rate is Passport America. This is a one or two nighter place only. The pool is postage stamp size, and the wind is continual it seems. But, these are the friendliest people in Texas! They escort you, they make sure you have all you need. Has easy pull through's, cable TV and all the comforts of home: for one night. We will always stop here when in the vicinity. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The owners are very nice they take you to your site and help you hook up.I found the cement pads to be very good and I have a 39ft 5th wheel. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Most hospitable staff we've met on the road in 6 months!!! We had made a wrong turn and the owner saw us as he was leaving and made sure we found our way back!!! RVer's friendly and happy here. Cement pads a little short and narrow. New park and trying to plant trees, grass between sites. The poor duck pond is almost dry as no rain in months!!! Pool very small and not heated. Rec room has a very old pool table and exercise equipment. Nice laundry. Nice size shower facility. Worse thing is the road noise from 59. But I would stay again traveling. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The campground is definitely not a 4 or 5. The sites are not long enough for pull throughs and vehicles are hanging out on the streets: which are not wide enough. If it rains, the place turns into a swamp. The concrete pads are not wide enough to allow to step out of the motor home and not get wet. Everyone is very friendly and the cable TV is good. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice park with new owners. Concrete pads are in the process of being put into every site. Grass is being planted around the sites. The owners are extremely nice; we received a "thank you" note from them just prior to leaving. This is a Passport Park and an Escapee discount park. For all of you SKPs, this park is 200 miles south of Livingston on US-59; a great place to stop on the way to the Valley. And, Harlingen is 200 miles south of Victoria. There is a nice pool and a pond with ducks. Also, there is a nice laundry. Most of the sites are long pull thrus and some backins along the outer edge. They do not have a seasonal rate established as yet, but their monthly rate is $300 and that includes electric. The only negative is the fact that the park is right off US-59 and there is some traffic noise. We definitely will return here if and when we travel to the Valley again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This was a great spot for an overnight stay when coming from the Rio Grande Valley. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the park was well laid out with large/long concrete sites suitable for a big rig with car in tow. Nice landscaping. Easy to find and near the major through routes. Will definitely stay here again! They only take cash or checks, though, so don't plan on using your credit cards! We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is by far the best park in Victoria. All concrete sites, 30-50 amp, good water, cable tv,and fair internet. Beautiful landscaping at every site and pool area. All the permanent resident sites were clean and they were quiet even when leaving for work. Great surprise when the very pleasant folks in the office asked if we were Passport Members. Wow,Great park at a great rate.We will certainly be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a PPA park that is the perfect place to stop when in the area. The owners are super and the lots are paved and level. The rate quoted is with the $3.00 up charge for 50 AMP. Restrooms are superior and well maintained. Lots are a bit narrow, but they work. There are quite a few permanents, but they are well maintained. Dog walking area may be a bit far from you pad. We have stayed here on numerous occasions and will continue to use this CG. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Dismayed by number of "worker bees": they were all polite and quiet but you were limited in number of traveling RVers to talk to. Back in sites are tough to maneuver in big fifth wheel and had no shade. Pull through sites had shade but go early. Owners very helpful. Liked the security gate. Best private park in Victoria was our impression after touring the others. We stayed at the Passport America rate for 2 nights. Our first visit to Victoria. Gorgeous HEB Plus grocery store but restaurants not the greatest. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A nice enough park but was expecting a winter Texan park and discovered that it has become a park for oil field and construction workers. These latter were all well behaved, just didn't like the attendant noise from 5:00 to 6:30 every morning. EVERY vehicle in the park has to drive past your site if you are anywhere near the front of the park. I understand why the park made this choice from an economic standpoint, but it didn't work well for me. I would not come back here for that reason. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very clean and friendly park with heated pool. Many activities & tenants play cards in the club house. The owners are on site and very friendly. We spent two months here and we will come back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a nice, clean campground, and quiet, but if you depend on the internet, maybe not such a good choice. We were here a month and had a lot of trouble with it, and it is pretty slow. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Parks was clean but sites are small. Many long term folks with noisy diesel trucks coming and going late into the evening. Trains nearby blew their horns for, what sounded like, every single crossing all night long. We will not be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We like this park, but last time we were here the short trees at each site made it impossible to drive into our site without scraping both sides. I was told then that they were in the process of trimming them. Now we are back again several months later and same thing. The attendant said again that they are in the process of trimming them. No credit cards, checks or cash only. I am sorry, but we will not return. We really would like to be able to give a better review, but our 42 foot motorhome does not work here. We camped here in a Motorhome.
If we could, we would give this park a 15. The park was very clean and taken care of. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We would have stayed here longer, but we had to move on. The park has many workers living there (don't blame them, it's a nice park). They leave early but that was never a problem. To sum up, This is a very comfortable RV park. We would live here if we stayed in TX. The rate is PA. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Staff and owners were great. The park is very clean. The park has a mostly oil field workers which create some problems. They leave for work a 6 AM. The look of the park is going down hill. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very nice park. Very friendly staff. Escort to site. A little tight for a big rig because of the bushes on the corner of the sites. Nice paved level sites. Could be a little wider, but plenty long. Nice pool and small hot tub. The park is beautiful, and each lot has green grass and small (4 people) picnic table. Close to restaurants and lots of things to do. Lots of long term RVers, very friendly. Wide paved roads in and out. All n all this is a good place to stay. Fair price too I'll stay here again. Gate closes at night but code opens when you want to come in or go. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very friendly camp host and owners. Popcorn and soda every day at 3PM for social hour. Free coffee in the morning. The pool is heated. We played shuffle board and ping pong and played cards most evenings. Free movie night once a month. All concrete roads and pads. Rate is based on monthly rate. We will return next year. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park has made some changes since last visit. There are more sites, but in doing this, the space for the pets to walk is now much smaller. The recreation room is nice but your time there is limited, as you must leave at nine pm every night, lights off, doors locked. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Clean park and well maintained. Staff are all friendly. Park has over fifty percent workers and permanent RV folks and therefore lots of noise and traffic back and forth in the early morning and between 4 and 5:30 pm. (We were expecting a snowbird park.) Because of layout--no back exit--all traffic must enter and exit through the front gates. Also lots of train noises and noises from the trucking company next door. Spaces are quite close together, too. Also no dog walking area except on pavement and in other RV yards. Everyone cleans up after their dogs though. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice place, clean and the folks running it are very nice. Sites are very close together but big rigs up to 40' will fit. Good services and level lots. Train noise is a real problem, they blow the horn several times during the night. We stayed a week and enjoyed it. We will stay here again someday. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The only reason we decided to camp here is because they advertise a covered and heated pool. The cover didn't exist. When we made the reservation, this was not revealed. We heard about it after setting up from one of the volunteer workers. The also advertise Good Sam members. They took my number but did not receive discount. It is a nice park, easy in and out. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Great park close to town with wonderful owners living on premises. Maneuvering a little difficult because of lush tropical foliage everywhere. Activities every day, including pool all winter. Not particularly kid friendly but pets are fine. Escort to site, and they'll pull you in if you're hesitant. Snowbirds flock here, and we might have considered it had we known about it during our search. The city of Victoria has everything you could want or need. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Easy access. Big rig friendly. Helpful staff. Great spa. Long, concrete pads with grass and very nice landscaping. Close to shopping. Excellent Wi-Fi and cable. A great place to winter! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is is easily located off US Hwy 59 and therefore suitable for an overnight stop. All sites are concrete and more or less level. Hook up connections are first class as is cable TV. Although the WiFi signal is excellent, the bandwidth is too narrow. The swimming pool is pretty small and needs some refurbishment. The hot tub is fine. Park staff is friendly. There is no ample social programe so we think this park is not very suitable for Winter Texans. We stayed here three nights. Rate is inclusive Good Sam discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a Passport America rate. They are also Good Sam members. This is an excellent, well designed and maintained park that suits our needs well. The owners as well as all camp workers are all super nice. Restrooms are all super clean however the ones in the office building are inaccessible after 9 pm each night. The CATV and WiFi work very well. The owners live onsite and take pride in their park. There is some train whistle noise which occurs mainly at night, however in this town train whistle noise reaches everywhere. This is the only park in town with a security gate. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Clean park with lots of concrete and nice grass between sites. The sites are narrow but nice and long. The road through the park makes a loop with an in and out road. The road is right next to the sites so traffic noise is somewhat loud when you have your windows open. The $14 rate was Passport America. Very nice place for an overnight stop. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Great park with concrete pads and picnic tables; very good Wi-Fi and cable TV. The park had a mix of full timers, workers, but mostly winter Texans. The owners and work campers were all very friendly. We would definitely return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Stayed here as a quick stop over between Mission, TX and New Orleans, LA. Has paved pull-throughs, cable TV with lots of channels and green grass with beautiful landscaping. Pet exercise area is convenient, grassy and virtually hidden by landscaping. Nice pamphlet with rules, conveniently attached cable channel listing and brief description of surrounding area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Easy access from US-59. The sites are tight. Utilities good, cement pads and interior roads. It was full, mostly permanents and seasonals. Run down industrial area, but gated at night and fenced, did not feel insecure. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park was recommended to us for an overnight stop, which is what we did. The park is small and some of the turns are tight but it was fine for overnight. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
I would have given the park a better rating if the owners handled the complaints. We had neighbors who had fights all day and night. They allowed their dogs to do their business on our grass and patio. I gave the management ample (3) notices to deal with this. They didn't. With each complaint, they said it would be taken care of. Finally, I was told that I COULD move to a new site. We decided that the solution was for us to move on to a new park. The covered pool was only covered for 7 days. We couldn't use it. This was one of the reasons we chose this park. If these things were fixed, the rating would have been much higher. But when your children don't feel safe, it just isn't worth it. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Rate reflects our Passport America discount and includes $3 extra for 50amp service. This is a great newer park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The park is access code gated after 5PM but is not in a bad part of town. Park roads are paved and very wide giving great access to all sites. Some distant train noise but no significant road noise. Sites are very wide, level and private. Trees and shrubs separate the sites and give great privacy. Nice small pool and hut tub. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here three month while my wife, a traveling nurse, worked at a local hospital. The park is small by some standards but, the family run park is the place to stay. Clean facilities and friendly staff add to the enjoyment of staying here. If we get back to the area we will make it a point to stay here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very clean and neat park. Owners try very hard to make all campers happy.Three sets of camp hosts that seem to run things. There is only 3 restroom shower combo's and when park is full it creates problems. Also only one is open 24 hours other 2 from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM.Can not start laundry after 7:30 PM and does not open untill 7:30 in the morning. Also only 4 washers. The wifi only fair at best.We spent the entire winter here and even though there are some problems we would return for another season. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a great place to stay. Has friendly staff. Cement pads & paved streets. Fence equals security, but it's not in a very bad neighborhood ( I've seen worse!). Easy in and out for big rigs, 5 miles from major shopping and restaurants. I'd stay here again anytime. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Now this park gets great TL reviews and I guess I understand that some people would love this place, but I felt uncomfortable every minute we were here. It is one of those parks with mostly motor homes lined up row after row, with a big high fence around it. There was very poor accommodation for pets. Very small patches here and there to do their business on. There are cameras posted everywhere with signs telling you cameras are watching you: including on the bathrooms, which raised a giant question in my mind. Mostly people seemed to be here for the whole season, and mostly there was a nod your way but no real warmth as we are accustomed to more often in the state and national parks. It was a little community really, that watched whatever you do apparently and didn't trust you. If you enjoy nature this is not the right place. I believe bird droppings would be against the rules. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nice clean park. Managers very friendly and helpful. Spaces somewhat cramped. Not all sites had WiFi and half the sites had limited cable. Would stay again if passing through area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very clean mid-sized RV park with a mix of pull-thrus and back-ins. Nice pool & hot-tub area. Friendly office and park staff. Lots are reasonable size concrete with grass separators all with FHU plus cable & Wi-Fi. Full security after hours. Close to shopping, restaurants, etc. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very well maintained. Manicured grass and scrubs. No real trashy trailers. Young owner and family work real hard to do things right. Activities like bingo in the evening. Secured park. Nice hot tub with water fall. Heated pool very clean. Many real nice folks staying in park. Don't forget to get good BBQ at Mumford's by the park. No frills/good food place. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Good park. The sites a little tight but workable. Has tight back in sites for a forty plus foot motorhome. Stayed a month. Will stay again when in the area. Laundry room is small. Has good cable TV and Wi-Fi. The pool is a little small. This park is all concrete and grass, no mud. The security works well. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was the first park we ever stayed at and we are still comparing others to it. Everything you could want. New, clean, paved, great staff, indoor pool. What a great place to stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We have camped at this park several times and have always found it one of the best campgrounds we have used and the best in the area. The manager is very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcomed. The rates are a little higher than most but well worth it for the good experience. We will definitely use this park again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Our 1st extended distance and extended stay with camper. Campground is not in the prettiest part of Victoria but has high attractive fencing that keeps away unwanted sights and sounds. Security measures are installed that provide safety. The website is accurate in its depiction of service and appearance. The cleanliness of this campground and the landscaping are most appealing. The central shower facilities are very high-end. Would highly recommend to others. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

In over 30 years of camping, I would rate this park among the top five we have ever visited. It has huge pull throughs, some 73 feet long and very, very wide. All roads are concrete and landscaping is beautiful. The park offers free high speed wi-fi, a heated swimming pool, instant phones, and all the other amenities. This park really is big rig friendly. The folks here, both management and guests, are really friendly, and they escort you to your site. This is a rare find. You will love it. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The $10 per night reflects the monthly rate of $290 per month. We were here for three months (Dec, Jan, Feb). The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The only drawback were the freight trains that could be heard every day and most nights. We recommend the park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Park is small 65 spaces, in fairly run down neighborhood but near town & shopping. (5 miles) Our rate reflects the weekly rate. This park is very close approximately 10 ft. between units and back ins not very big rig friendly railroad trains run nearby throughout the night, accenting the normal park noises from being so close. On the plus side people are very friendly both staff and residents and park is very clean for us a good place to stay for a couple of nights. Wi-fi at site a little slow and tv cable only 12 second rate channels. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice and clean, well maintained park. The Wi-Fi is free! Bonus! Adults are allowed to use pool/spa for 24 hours a day. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Great park, Free Wi-FI, clean, clean, clean, neat, neat, neat! This park is brand new, immaculate and the owners are great people. The rate is 10% less for the regular discounts. We stayed here on the way to and from the Rio Grande Valley in 2003 & 2004. Would recommend anytime. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice concrete pads at most sites. Green, nicely mowed grass. Friendly park. Owner was a lot of fun to talk to. On the newer side of Victoria and tons of nice shopping right down the street! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We only stayed here overnight. It is OK for that as we did not unhook but stuck out about 3 feet at the front and the back of the pull through site. Our trailer is 36 feet. The sites are not long at all for pull through sites. They are fairly level. Water pressure is good and voltage is good but the 50 amp plug is way down near the ground so it's a try to get it plugged in with the stiff cord. I wouldn't stay here for more than a night or two since the sites are so short. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A nice park on 77 North with many shops, a Wal-Mart, restaurants, etc., less than a mile away. On-site manager was helpful and the checkin was very easy. Cement pads and shade trees lend ambience to the small park. The laundry, shower and restrooms are clean. This is not a park for tourists with children who need to be entertained. No play equipment or pool for kids. Permanent residents are coming into parks in the area due to the employment boom in the Victoria area, and they are coming to this park too. Reservations would be in order if you plan to use the park, as we do when we pass through Victoria again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stopped for the night and stayed for 4. It is like staying in a city park, with hookups, legally. There were a remarkable number of sirens, though. We would stay again. It was a good stop for us to catch up on homeschooling and geocache within walking distance. We camped here in a Motorhome.
After reading one other review we decided to stay at this park for one night as we were passing through and were glad we did. Check-in was easy and the personnel were friendly. Escorted to our site which was a fully paved pull through. Our only concern was the narrow roads, but we could negotiate without a problem. There are lots of long term tenants at this park, but their units are clean and they were no problem at all. I would definitely recommend this facility for either short or long term for a couple, but we didn't see much to do for a family. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed here overnight on our way to South Padre Island. The manager was extremely pleasant and held his last available site for us. He kept in contact with us and stayed beyond normal office closing hours to get us checked in and settled. This park is primarily seasonal and there were even RVs in the front pull-throughs waiting for more permanent spots to open up. It is located right in the middle of a recently developed shopping area, but was surprisingly quiet. The sites are all level concrete pads with full hook ups. Sites are fairly close together. This would not be my preference for a long term stay, but it worked beautifully for an overnight. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Found this campground via Trailer Life. Previously not listed on this site. Very nice campground. Cement pads. Easy access off of 77. Nice laundry room. Washers $1 and dryers $.75. No swimming pool. One mile down the road is Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Mall, movie theaters, and loads of restaurants. Propane available here. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a nice park. It is a no frills park. No restrooms or showers. It has full hookups and the power boxes are new and up high to make it easy to use. There are no facilities for children. There is pleanty of room between sites, sites are level and long enough to handle our 38ft fifth wheel and pickup. No one at the entrance to take money, you just put cash or check in an envelope and place it in a deposit bin. Get here fairly early because it was almost full by 6 pm. We would stay here again when we come by. Maximum stay is 2 weeks. Weekly cost is $60. Quiet except for one train about 6:30 pm. Address is 2000 N. Vine. GPS location N28.81537 W97.00861. BC We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
No frills, great site to visit Victoria or just passing through. Small but plenty of room. Lots of wooded areas around. Plenty of grass for dog walking. We saw about 15 deer just before dark. They were still around the next morning as we walked. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is the best kept secret in Victoria. Quiet clean park, only $60.00 a week. Great place to stay overnight or for a week. Close to sights. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is located some blocks right of business Hwy 87 and W Red River Road. It is close to Riverside Golf Course. It has no restrooms or showers but some 20 full hook up sites. There is a garbage bin on each site. You have to deposit your fee in a box: $ 12 a day or $ 60 a week. The money is collected every morning as the garbage is. It is a wonderful little place. We spent three nights here and will come back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
