We`ve stayed here many times. Has good 50amp power, level concrete pads, very good water, and sewer. You can wash your coach if you want. WiFi is now available. Has many trees, but cut high enough, so they don`t rake your coach. There are many things to do in this area, even though Winnsboro has a population of a little over 3000. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Heavily used railroad tracks along the front entry make it hard to sleep especially in the very AM hours. Park manager also does double duty as animal control officer, however she is extremely helpful in locating things to do in the area. There are several times during the year where the park fills with various events. Best call during normal hours for site information and availability We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Stayed for a couple days which just happened to be the same time as the Gold Wing Rally at the park. It is a small very clean city park with level concrete pads, a public pool, dump station and a fenced in playground. The only down side is the railroad tracks adjacent to the park unless you like the railroad thing. The Park Manager is very helpful in suggesting local points of interest and activities. She said that they are planning additional sites with pull throughs and also WiFi and nature trails during the year. Enjoyed our stay very much and will return for another visit. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
