Small park on the North end in town, owners remodeling office and apartment above, some yearly residents, big laundromat (open to the public). All gravel sites, except grass tent sites. 30 amp at all sites, some have 50amp also. Friendly owners. 20 miles from Bryce Nat. Park. We used Good Sam. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is an old KOA in need of some major updates. The sites are very small, no privacy at all. Our slide was only inches from our neighbor, and we shared a common utility post, so when he disconnected, he continually rubbed against our camper and sprayed water all over the side of our unit since he didn't have much room. The restrooms were clean, but very dated. The laundry equipment was in need of repair, wi-fi was very weak. Most sites were stone and only a couple sites had any grass, so we tracked a lot of gravel in our camper. The pluses were the pool was nice, the store was stocked well, the owners/workers tried to help. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park has side by side hook-ups that I just don't like. Also, the sites are rather short and you have to unhook and put your toad or tow vehicle in the parking area. There is no cable and what you can get with your antenna is nothing to write home about. Owners were helpful and it served as a nice place to visit Bryce. But for the price, I'd like something better. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Owners very nice. We got a pull thru with no sewer? Not a necessity at this time but still a little surprised. Site wide enough and long enough for 36' quad slide with tow vehicle. Gravel site level and grass and picnic table alongside. Quiet as well. No cable TV contrary to listing. Easy access, interior roads a little narrow. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We arrived one week before the official opening date, but were thrilled that they had opened early due to the pleasant weather. The owners were extremely helpful in getting us set up and giving us pointers about keeping our water lines open so we wouldn't freeze our pipes. There were only 2 other trailers in the park, but it seemed very spacious to us. We loved the proximity to Bryce Canyon. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a nice campground. The sites are narrow, but worked for us with 2 slides. The owners rate a 10 for friendliness! The swimming pool was closed because of the season. There is free wi-fi. There is also a nice campground store. This is a convenient location for accessing Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Sites are too short and crammed together. We could not park the dinghy at the site. Side-by-side sites share very small grassy area bewteen RVs. No privacy! Lots of ATV's. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Typical KOA campground -- very friendly, helpful owners but rustic facilities. Everything functions well but a bit worn at the edges (a general KOA issue). Several ATV groups (ATVs are big in Utah) but they were unusually quiet. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Average KOA, with dirt and gravel roads and sites. Very friendly onsite managers. Wifi charged at $5.95 for 12 hours thru Hotspotzz which is too much for 12 hours. Electrical voltage was low. Price too high for area and there were lots of empty spots available. Town of Panguitch is very old and small. 20 miles to Bryce Canyon. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very nice park and friendly owners, grassy pull thru sites but no privacy, a good park for a couple of nights, we will use this park again We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
Very nice park. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location for visiting Bryce National Park. We would return when in the area again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice campground, centrally located for Bryce, Zion and Brian Head Recreation Area. Owner lives on-site, very clean! Alot of trees and grassy sites. Close to shopping & restaurants. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
Park looks like someone is trying to upgrade and improve the looks, but its still pretty barren. Old trailers in place and the office really needs a good cleaning and removal of all the clutter from years back. The odd part is the elderly gent who checked us in did so without too much stress. But as we turned to exit, he walked around the check-in counter and blocked our way so we couldn't get out the door. He started a rant and rage about the presidential candidates, couldn't figure out if he was a Democrat or Republican, he hated them all and wanted to rant and rage. He kept it up for well over 5 minutes and no way was I going to be sucked into a discussion with him. We finally seized an opportunity to force our way past him and exit. We won't be staying here in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We were here on RPI and it is not a fancy park, but had full hook-ups. They are working on fixing it up. The camp hosts were nice and the sites were good enough for the price. It is close to Bryce. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I made a reservation through RPI to stay at Paradise RV Park in Panguitch, Utah so my wife and I could be close to Bryce Canyon and Zion national parks. We arrived in the morning about 9:30 a.m. which was earlier than we anticipated and decided to drive to Paradise RV Park to see if we could check in early so we could visit Bryce during the remainder of the day. When we arrived we were very disappointed in the RV park's appearance. It had a couple of older, not well maintained trailers sitting at the back of the park and one new RV also. The place was devoid of any shade and needed mowing as well. When I went to enter the office/store the door was locked and no one was around. There was a sign saying they would be back at 10:00 a.m. At 10:00 a.m. no one showed up. After some discussion we decided this was not the place for us and left. I called RPI to make a new reservation at another RPI member RV park. When they indicated that we already had a reservation for the night I told them we didn't like the place and that it was one of the ugliest, unkempt RV parks we have ever seen. They made us a new reservation and I thought that was the end of it. We didn't mind paying for the night we cancelled at Paradise RV Park. About 9 days later after we returned home we had received a post card from the owner of Paradise RV Park calling us dumb fools and saying we were not welcome at their RV park and generally belittled RPI members in general. I couldn't believe an RV park owner would stoop to such a level to berate a potential customer. In no way will we or any of our traveling friends stay at this park. The owner and his attitude will surely be a death knell for this RV park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Do you know how you call a fat man tiny. Well this describes this park. They have still not cashed my check for my stay and that was in June. Said that the new owner did not want to mow the lawns so they were dry and dead. We camped here in a Motorhome.
All of the grass was dead. Campground was a little run down. A little water would work wonders. I do not think that I would stay there again. We stayed there with RPI. I have to wonder how they rate their parks... We camped here in a Motorhome.
They honor most discounts, passport escapees etc. Stayed to see Brice canyon and the sites nearby, great price for just a stop over.. 1-3 days passport. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a National Forest (NFS) campground next to highway 12 on the way into Bryce Canyon National Park approx 15 miles before the visitor center. The closest town is Panguitch which is approx 11 miles from the campground. This is a very rustic campground and the road noise from rt 12 dies down about dark every night. There is a wash at the entrance to the campground which can leave you stranded either inside or outside the campground when it rains hard which it did to us one afternoon while we were inside the campground. Sites are spaced far apart and roomy with picnic tables and fire pits set in a concrete patio. There is an on-site campground host during the season. We stayed there thru the last day the campground was open until it closed for winter on Oct 14th. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
