This park was such a disappointment. Located on the Chesapeake Bay and friendly staff are the only redeeming qualities. With over 700 sites we were expected to park next to two of the maybe 10 rigs that were in the park and, because the utilities are so disorganized, we would have had to climb through their site just to plug in. Next site had a broken sewer and it was completed filled with dirt. Third site was better but not very level. I'm assuming that because this is a family campground this accounts for all the rules they have in place; way too many for adults. And lastly they say they're dog friendly and I guess if you keep Fido in your rig and only scoot him out briefly on a designated road to a designated spot that might be so, but that's not dog friendly to me. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Gorgeous water views with level sites; however, the sites were flooded when we checked in. The water was so deep in the first site we were assigned that we had them move us to another site , site 603. Although this site also had standing water it wasn't nearly as deep. Our ladder mounted satellite worked fine, and we had good 4G Verizon signal on our Mifi. The most annoying about this park is all the speed bumps throughout. I know they want to keep the speed down, but they are about every 100 feet, and very annoying. The fries in the cafe were good, but the pulled pork was old and dry. The general store is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and the cafe closed at 2:00 pm (probably their off season hours). We would not stay here again IF it has just rained, but would if it has been dry. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We enjoy this campground, have been a few times. Most sites have good shade. Great location, usually have a nice breeze. Many sites have water view. Many activities throughout day as well as a live band on many weekends. Several pools and a spray park to accommodate many people, but my kids wished there was a waterslide. Several fishing piers to fish or crab off of. Make sure to bring bicycle or golf cart to get around. Great cafe with good food and store has everything you could possibly need. We will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
