With a 30' Travel trailer we had to search for a site big enough to take us and this park was almost empty. The pull through site was really a wide spot in the road and we were uncomfortably close to what little traffic there was. The site was level side to side but a little steep back to front. We were in site B103. Also the roads through the campground are very narrow. Not a place for big rigs. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nice, quiet no hook-up campground at mile marker 120 on the Blue Ridge Parkway; just outside of Roanoke where all services are available. We only have a 30 ft class A and found that a number of the RV sites were not long enough for us, not sure if any would support big rigs. All sites are paved and level enough to work with. The pull arounds are not very wide and give you the feeling that your slides on the side nearest the road are a bit exposed. We liked site #91, it was level and big enough for the RV and had space for the toad next to it. It was one of the more open sites, most had more tree cover. The bathroom was very clean and basic, it is equiped with a lantern hanger for after hours visits since it has no lights of its own. This was a good campsite, pretty, quiet and well kept, dump station was easy in and out with potable water available at the far end of the dump area. Campground closes the end of Oct. We would stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
