We camped here for free for 2 nights in return for a sales pitch. Dusty sites, and you're either in total darkness or in the parking lot. The cabins look like they belong in the 6o's and for $50 it's expensive. Our biggest complaint is about the sales staff. When we told them we decided against purchasing (after the sales pitch), we didn't only not get the "gifts" we were promised ($50 gas card and some other stuff) but got the cold shoulder and were not feeling very welcome. We left as soon as we could. The facilities are just OK, a bit too strict on the kids and the kids club was not in great shape. Not a 5 star, KOA's will give you better value for the dollar. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here in late September so it wasn't real crowded. In the summer you probably would have other RV's very close to you. Loop G has more space between sites and we would stay in that section next time. Most sites are only 30 amps and electrical boxes are kind of old. In B Loop where we stayed sites could be improved with grading. It appears that quite a few people live here full time, but I don't know that for sure. The store, playground, and pools seem fine and there is a large park area for kids. This time of year it was very quiet and its location to go to Canada or to the Mt. Baker area is good. As Coast to Coast members, we would stay here again this time of year. We camped here in a Motorhome.

As a member for the past 9 years I find that the "5 Star" rating has certainly lost it's shine. WiFi promised through out the park for years has not happened. In order for me to check my email this past weekend I had to sit on a golf cart in front of the sales office to get a connection. I have been in rest stops with better WiFi. Washrooms that are filthy. The park memberships have been over sold and and it is very busy and looks as if no money is going back into the park. Shame really, it was a wonderful park a few years ago. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A great State Park. We had a pull-through site which easily accommodated or motorhome and tow car. The do need to trim a few of the overhead branches, however. The park was very pleasant and excellent for biking and with access to local beaches. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park is roughly half permanent mobile homes which are mostly separate from RVs but everything appeared to be well maintained despite being past its prime. Reminded me of a typical southern snowbird park. RV sites were long, narrow back-ins but since they tend to use every other site, there was plenty of room. If they were full, you may have very close neighbors. Rate is based on weekly with tax. Wi-Fi is free for one hour per day and worked well. Additional time can be purchased for $3 a day or $15 per week. Had some fuzzy channels on their cable TV. Since there were no Park Rules provided, it appeared that washing vehicles was OK, of which we took advantage. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has grass and gravel sites. Some are shaded and some aren't. It's very nice but kind of in the middle of nowhere. Must be a member of 1000 Trails or RPI to stay here. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very convenient to the border, this is an older park with minimal improvements. Spaces are small, but level, back-in only, and there was barely enough room for our 36-ft coach and Honda CRV toad parked in front. The park offers no cable TV. Although almost full, it was very quiet and we certainly would stay again due the convenience of border crossing into Vancouver for a day trip. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This Park is in a very nice location, just a short wake to Birch Bay and all its charm. There are some perm sites, but pretty well kept. Check in was easy and our site was a pull-through. Internet was very fast with a strong signal. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We arrived on a Sunday and the office is only open Mon. to Sat. However, our arrival package was ready for pickup with directions to our site and internet access and laundry/shower codes. When we made our reservation we were sent a confirmation by e-mail. Overall the park is clean and well maintained. Most of the sites are permanent party and a few of the sites look like squatters live there. Good space between the rigs. Easy access to the beach and a quick jump to Vancouver. We would probably stay here again since it is the best in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have been members of Thousand Trails for less than a year and have been to many of the parks. The overall quality of the parks is poor and we have been very disappointed. This park is the exception, though. It is the best Thousand Trails park we have been to. The sites in phase I are huge and you sit back to back with your neighbor. There aren't any trees, but you wont have any problems getting a satellite TV signal or putting your awning out. The park is clean and well kept. The only negative is that some of the older Thousand Trails members that we met weren't very nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Sites in Phase One use 2 pedestals together to service 4 narrow sites. You are very close to neighbors and must have long sewer/water hoses and electrical cords if you have a big rig. Satellite TV is dicey in about half the Phase One sites. Phase Two, only open summer/fall, has longer sites with one pedestal serving 2 sites and some pull-throughs. Long sites enable my 40' motorhome with 25' trailer to stay hooked up with room also for an auto. Satellite TV access excellent. Park is basic with pool, no spa. Internet available free at clubhouse until 10 PM. Quiet park, although needing maintenance on services at many Phase One sites. Don't expect a high end park and you won't be disappointed. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We are Thousand Trails/NACO members and the price reflects our extended stay for a month after our initial two week stay using our membership. There are Phase I and Phase II sections. Phase I is the older area of the park with several trees. Phase II is an open area surrounded on the perimeter by large trees. Both sections have large sites with combination of pull-throughs and back-ins. The sites are either grass or gravel with the interior roads a combination of dirt/gravel. No Wi-Fi at the sites but satellite reception is good in Phase II. Not sure in Phase I due to the trees. The vast majority of sites have good 30amp electric and there is at least one 50amp site with a charge of $5 per day, whether your a member or not. The park closes Phase II for the season in October but Phase I is open year round. There are no frills except for a nice pool. We elected to extend our stay mainly due to the mild summer weather and would return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
