There are few NICE options for camping near Seattle. I've done exhaustive hunting, but I finally found this awesome campground. Beautiful beyond speaking, it is a jewel in a county known for pride in service to its citizens. For RVers, all 16 sites are crescent pull-throughs spaced around a large loop surrounding a beautiful green sward of grass in the middle of which is a nice restroom with one shower per gender. Exceedingly well maintained, this park is in the cute little town of Carnation with a grocery store and a Starbucks (Free Wi-Fi) only about a half mile away. The park is absolutely full on summer weekends, but practically empty during the week. It is on the Tolt River and surrounded by Washington's gorgeous forests. A separate area across a footbridge has the Yurts and a few tent sites, and there are also a few tent sites near, but separate from the RV area. We look forward to visiting this park again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
