This is a “Resort” with large log cabins that feature beautiful furnishings, manicured landscaping, and even a hot tub. There is a lakeside guest lodge and General Store. They offer “Canvas Cabins” placed along the three stocked lakes. You can rent a boat, picnic, pitch your tent on a secluded campsite, ride your bike, or wander the peaceful grounds. However, if you show up in an RV, expect much less! For the $62 a night rate one would expect the best of amenities. Not this place. The six RV sites are poorly placed, poorly designed and an apparent after-thought. The sites are dirty gravel that turns onto a black soup when wet. The water and electric service is place on the wrong side of the site making hook up a challenge. There is no sewer, and no dump station on site. You have to drive five miles back to town to empty your holding tanks! There is one bath house, but there are lots of “Port-A-Jons” around. Come on! Sixty two bucks a night and you have to use a “Port-A-Jon”! (Remember, no sewer or dump site.) When we arrived we could not get to our RV sites because of low hanging tree branches. It took three trips to the shed before they had all the tools to do the job. Forty-five minutes later we finally got to our site. This might be a “Resort”, but not a “RV Resort”... especially at the outrageous price. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful campground, with all the lakes. Staff was extremely friendly, especially the young lady that serves the morning breakfasts at the canvas tents. They have activities for all ages. It's the fifth year we have ferried over to Friday Harbor and it is a beautiful place to spend some time. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a 'campground' not a resort. It is a quite place with beautiful sites on the San Juan Island. Getting there by ferry is spendy, but great once you get there a unique experience. Empty your holding tanks BEFORE you go as there are no sewer hook-ups. We camped here in a Motorhome.
