Located in a beautiful forest by a river. Very quiet and peaceful. Sites are large, with excellent privacy. It gets a little muddy when it rains. Newly-constructed showers and bathrooms are very nice. Lots of hiking nearby. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a National Park Campground. It is suffering from overall poor maintenance. The best campsites for RV's have been taken by the "Hosts". Every aspect of the CG other than road surface and toilets has been neglected. An obvious victim of Budget Cutting. The toilets are Pit-type and you can smell them from a long way off. Even the Gate Shack looks like it has seen better days. I went to this CG 20 years ago and it had a well maintained look. During the Summer, the Staff would even show movies with an environmental theme. Unless you have a Tent Trailer, Tent, or small Van there are probably no more than 5-6 sites that will accommodate an RV over 14'. The area is beautiful and it is a shame that the Campground doesn't match. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
