2nd review (see 7/10) after 5 visits. Beautifully kept, shower spotless. Hookups well place & work perfectly. WiFi not so much. Site a little narrow & funny angle to back in, but do-able. Only saw 1 deer while there. Lavender Festival weekend to place was packed, but still quiet & kept clean. Discovered "Fat Smitty's" on highway 101 south of town. Looks like a dive outside, but very cool inside & one of the best burgers you'll ever eat ANYWHERE. Try it! You'll be glad you did. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects RPI membership rate ($10) plus tax. It’s a pretty nice park, albeit simple. The sites are a bit close together, but clean and with a picnic table. The park is very well maintained and the employees very friendly. There are a few activities in the clubhouse, a book exchange, free DVD rentals, community firepit (bring your own wood), the typical puzzle, games, etc… in the clubhouse. It’s a very quiet campground with resident deer that meander in the early evenings. As previous posters mentioned – no laundry and no 50amp. Verizon cell coverage works well (for phone) and okay (seems to struggle late afternoon) for 3G internet coverage. Cable TV is $3 extra per night; don’t know about Wi-Fi cost – only available in clubhouse. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

K/M membership park with RPI etc access. A little off the beaten path but very quiet and well run. Bath and shower rooms spotless. Nice clubhouse and honor system ice. Utilities well located and worked! Mini-golf well taken care of. Resident deer. Sequim has everything from roadside Lavender shops (and wandering elk herd) to Wal-Mart/Costco. Try "The Islander" for pizza/pasta!! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

First, it is not a resort! It is a Coast to Coast campground, as well as other campground associations. The sites are gravel and fairly level. The bathrooms and showers were clean, but definitely needed updating. They do not have a laundry. One must go into Sequim to that. However, for the price! There's a 3 1/2 mile drive from US101 to the campground and you have to drive that every time you want to come and go. However, we would stay here again, mainly for the price. We camped here in a Motorhome.

K&M park, stayed under Coast to Coast affiliation at $10 a night. Multitude of nickle and dime charges: $1 a day "energy surcharge" - for 30 amp? $3 a day cable tv, $1 day for wifi - plus tax on all of the above. Very tight turns in the park, relatively small spaces. Clean and well kept, but we detest all the nickle and dime charges - charge one rate and supply the amenities! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Easy directions to the park on a long winding road toward the bay. Check in was fast and easy. The spots are small and tight. When the park is full you will need to have people move their cars so you can get out. The staff was friendly. They have a nice club house with social events. Wi-Fi is available at an extra cost. Verizon's cell signal is weak. Satellite dish worked fine but cable was also available. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We went camping at Diamond Point for Spring Break and it was a nice campground but seemed to be more for retired folks than families. We seemed to be the only campers with children. Children under 16 had to be accompanied by an adult almost everywhere, which seemed extreme. Lots of wildlife including resident deer and raccoons. Peaceful and well kept. Even with the weird barely family friendly atmosphere, we will easily camp here again. Hosts were great. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We use this park frequently, being a KM park. Nice, friendly staff. Good activities at clubhouse. Great potlucks. Casino 15 minutes away. Shopping in Sequim another 8 minutes away. We would rate it a '10' if there was a pool. But it does have a hot tub. LOTS of cable TV channels, about 70! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a ROD, AOR park. Very clean and comfortable; many pull thru spaces and all sites are good size. No pool but there's a nice playground, horseshoes, volleyball and min golf. Friendly helpful staff. Great location for visiting Port Townsend, Port Angeles, Sequim, Olympic National Forest, etc., plus very close to the bay. We enjoyed a visit each day from a mama deer and her 2 youngsters. Would definitely stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Enjoyed this park even though it is strictly dry camping. Easy trail access, well maintained trails and restrooms. Great views the Strait of Juan deFuca and spectacular sunsets. Easy access to the Dungeness Spit. Our site was spacious and sunny so we could get DirecTV. Access to the internet (Verizon) was via Canada which is expensive. Dump station is near the entrance and turning around proved difficult. Reservations can be made via snail mail with a check, but cash is required for all other nights. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Sites were very private and close to trails on bluffs overlooking Strait of Juan de Fuca where we saw whales and sea lions. Only a few sites with good sun exposure (for solar panels). Trails to Dungeness Spit and close to Olympic National Park (Hurricane Ridge) and the Olympic Discovery bike trail. All services available in Sequim and Port Angeles. This is a lovely campground with beach access and big private sites. The ranger is very very nice, and the whole park is very clean and well kept. My only complaint is that they close the gates at 10pm (9pm during off season) and if you happen to be out having dinner at the nearby Casino or something, you BEST make it back by curfew or you won't be getting back in. We love the place though, and we camp here at least once or twice every year. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a county park adjacent to Dungeness Spit (said to be world's longest spit of land at 5 miles long and 50 yards wide). Has hiking trails, playground for kids (but very quiet) and very clean bathroom and showers (25 cents for 2 minutes). Planned to stay one night but stayed 3 nights as it was so comfortable. It has very large sites that are private. Potable water and dump site on premise. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay at this compact, well-staffed park. Sites and interior roads are paved, fairly level, and each has a nice grassy area and picnic table. Maneuvering through the park's interior is a bit tricky, but doable. Fairly good WiFi is now available, and a DSL hookup is available for free at each site, with cables available at the office. The free cable was extensive and clear. Hookups were adequate although the water pressure was a bit low. The owners and hosts are very friendly and host a pot luck each month. The lounge area and laundry are nicely maintained and the washers and dryers are reasonable. A plus is being withing walking distance of the small downtown area and nearby fast food restaurant. We'll stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We arrived after dark, they were waiting for us with flashlights to help us park and set up. Very friendly helpful. A nice restaurant just across the street. We arrived, checked it out and payed for a week: 6 x $30 + tax = $199.28 = 7 nights. That is a very good deal for what you get. Paved sites, pretty level, needed a board on one side however, site is wide and long enough and there is enough grass between the sites for slide outs and awning. DSL hookup at each site provided reliable and fast internet. Yes, the pull through sites open directly to a city back road, but next to no traffic and no problem for me. Layout of the park and space available to maneuver was plenty for me.. TV hookup was good; channel service also; however, a few channels lost the sound after about 2 seconds,. Nothing major for me. Satellite signal is no problem. Cell service with Virgin mobile worked, too. Restrooms are small: 1 shower, 2 toilets, 2 basins for the ladies and about the same for the men. Very clean, nicely done and well maintained. Grocery shopping right across the street at QFC and Walmart, Costco, Home Depot, Safeway, etc. From here, we explored the Olympic Discovery Trail by bicycle and the whole area, which is very nice. We loved it and will definitely return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Conveniently located, difficult to maneuver around in, but worth the effort. Friendly office staff and host who assisted in parking. A bit strange in that we were required to back into what appeared to be a pull-through site, and that we were nose-on to a city street. Sites were paved, level, and had good hookups including extensive cable. I can't imagine using DSL in an RV, but that's what they offer at each site; however, we were able to pick up the Wi-Fi from the office area. Verizon cell and data worked well. Nicely maintained landscaping and facilities, with a comfortable lounge. We'd stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The previous descriptions are accurate. They do offer free Wi-Fi, but only at the clubhouse. Each site does have an Ethernet connection for internet, rather unusual. Because the sites are tight, the host will help you park. We used this park as a base for exploring Olympic NP, but it's a long drive to the far NW parts of the park. We would stay here again. Rate is a weekly rate. This park is a bit unusual in that our site and nine others opened onto a city street. These nine sites are the only pull through sites in the campground. It was not a busy street but there was no security barrier around the park. The park is well kept with nice landscaping and a park like area with a large fire pit and firewood. We liked this location for exploring the Port Townsend and Port Angeles area as well as the northeastern part of Olympic National Park. The Olympic Discovery Trail (paved bicycle and walk/run) is a few blocks from the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We would not return to this strange park again. It's a miniature of a real park. Only one small shower stall for men, one for women. Half the sites have no cement or gravel pad, so you step on wet grass every morning (mats are frowned upon). The dog "run" is a narrow strip of grass, too crowded for two dogs at the same time. Sites are packed in so tightly, we constantly had folks cutting through our site because of poor layout. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice clean park right in the town of Sequim. But seems like you are in the countryside because of the views behind the motel. Sites are sloped a little to one side so 5th wheelers may have to put wood under drivers-side tires to level. WiFi weak but they have DSL cables that provide hi-speed internet. Very friendly staff. One of the nicest small parks we have stayed in. We have stayed here four times before and always have been pleased to get in. We don't do reservations very far in advance and felt lucky we could get in the week prior to the Lavender Festival. The Saturday continental breakfasts are a nice touch and especially the lavender pastries during the lavender festival. The host campers are the best. The owners are very nice. (And we are glad there are not any old grubby RV's allowed in here per a prior review). Nice grass between sites. A little tight for big 5th wheels, but they manage to get into spot with little problems. We will ways try to stay here. Nicest and neatest and cleanest in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Despite all the hype on the website, this is a very average park. Check in is strange. When you pull in, you block the lane for anyone trying to exit. The roads are extremely narrow! Although certainly not under the park's direct control, many not staying here, use the park's narrow road as a short cut to the nearby senior center and Taco Bell. This occurs around the clock. Utilities work well: Internet is via Ethernet and a cable is provided which is great for coaches with an outside connection but not so great for those who need to leave a window open. Some sites, but not all, have decent views of the nearby mountains. Since this park is in a high tourist area, average reviews will have little impact on heavy use. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This rate reflects a monthly rate. This is a small but perfect little RV park right in town, surrounded on two sides by meadows and mountain views. (Taco Bell on another side.) The only things that would improve it would be a pool and/or hot tub and a little more space between sites. As it is, there is nice grass and flowering shrubs between the sites, picnic tables and plenty of room for chairs, grill, bikes, etc. There's plenty of room to park extra vehicles too, for no charge even though they may tell you when you make reservations that it will cost you $25. Perfectly clean and lovely restrooms and laundry room. The managers and staff were great. They really take pride in maintaining a great place. More to do in the area than we could do in a month. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We have been full timing in our 40 foot motor home for more than a decade. This is one of the friendliest and well maintained parks we have experienced. If your travels bring you to the Olympic Peninsula of WA. Gil Gal is not only centrally located but is by far the best RV Park in the area. We know...We have camped at all of them. This park offers everything we enjoy. Walking, jogging, and biking. Open vistas provide mountain views from most sites. Owners and management are very attentive to the needs of their campers. Shopping is within walking distance. Restrooms are emasculate as well as the landscaping. The park provides a clubhouse for individual use as well as groups. DSL is provided for a $20 refundable deposit and works great. Very pet friendly with a dog park within a couple blocks. Sometimes we travel with several rigs. This park is ideal for group gatherings..book early. We recommend it to all our friends. They offer reduced rates for Good Sam and Veterans. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our first stay at an RV park so this is a new experience for us. The staff helped us park and were very helpful. Check in was friendly and everything was explained. They will lend you an internet cable for a $20 deposit, although we did not use it. The dog walking area is quite small but nobody seems to mind because everyone seemed to walk their dogs down the roads. There was no dog sign if you know what I mean. The park is very clean and well maintained. Showers and washrooms are immaculate. We would certainly stay here again. If this is RVing, then bring it on. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a small RV park oriented to large rigs. The grounds are kept immaculate and the hosts are friendly and helpful. The DSL cable was a bit inconvenient but excellent speed. We missed Wi-Fi at the site but the clubhouse had good Wi-Fi. No fires at your site but large group fire pit. This RV park is best suited for mature adults with independent contained units. The washrooms were excellent with good water pressure though. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Having read the glowing reviews relating to this park we were quite disappointed when we found that it is in an open field, with no trees or shade to speak of. The sites, whilst they are bitumen, are not level. They are also narrow and close together. The internet access (DSL) is quite dated. There are two toilets and one shower for 28 sites. There seems to be a Christian or biblical theme to the place, eg the name, Gilgal, and the fish sign on their brochure. Being Christian ourselves, we were fine with this; however, I did find one of their rules to be at odds with Christian ethics and inclusiveness, and offensive to my personal notion of what constitutes Christianity. They state that "only modern, self contained, authorized factory built RVs are allowed. The park reserves the right to refuse admission of vehicles not meeting park standards. They must be neat in appearance with good paint and clean at all times." Therefore, if you are too poor to afford the 'right kind of RV', don't come! I did wonder why reception questioned my husband as to how old our RV was (1991), and whether it was 'in good condition!' On principle we would never stay in this park again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Rate based on winter monthly rate, electricity extra. After physically checking out every RV Park in the Sequim area, we chose this park as our base camp. Wow, are we glad we did! What a wonderful park with the nicest owners and camp hosts. It's conveniently nestled in the small town of Sequim, in the Dungeness Valley with a nice view of the Olympic Mountains! It's the perfect place to call home while you see all the beautiful sights that the Olympic Peninsula has to offer. It is a small but cozy park, well suited for the retired RVer. Being small is part of its charm. The hosts are so welcoming, offering plenty of activities for their guests, from potlucks to Thursday night socials, to luncheons; there is something always going on at Gilgal. We met so many nice folks here, we would definitely return if we find ourselves back in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground has excellent facilities. We arrived approximately 20 minutes before check in and were told to leave the park as our site was still occupied. Understood this as park is small but there was space in front of check in. When we came back site was still not open and occupants were visiting with neighbors who were also leaving. When site was ready park manager did not want me to use the pull through but again leave the park and back in from the exit lane. He was afraid I would go on the grass and damage a sprinkler head. I complied as I just wanted to get parked. He has to help back you in so you do not get to close to the grass from your steps. He backed us too close to power station and our slide could not be opened fully. I again pulled forward and corrected this. The lady in the office was strictly business and not friendly. I would not stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. A small, friendly, extremely well maintained park. Very nice hosts and the women's bathroom was like being in a guest bathroom, beautifully decorated with a lavender theme and spotless. It is a good base for sights in Port Townsend, Port Angeles and Olympic National Park. Sequim is a very nice town, even has a Costco. If every RV park were run like this one, RV'ing would be paradise. Park staff are resident RV'ers who spell off and get their space in exchange for working. They all take a personal interest in this beautiful little park and it shows everywhere. Park is right in the town of Sequim which is convenient. Carrie Blake park is within walking distance and has a wonderful off leash dog faculty and walking trails. This is one park that is hard to leave. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is one of our absolute favorite RV parks. Clean, nice paved sites with full hookups. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Just a great place to stay and see the sights in the Olympic Peninsula from. We will definitely return. Only minor issue is that internet is only available directly from the park modem using an Ethernet cable you have to run through your window. Otherwise the connection is excellent. Very nice campground, it's not big, but what is there is excellent. Sites are adequate in size, nice grassy areas between sites. Hookups are easy to access and worked perfectly. Good cable TV lineup, but no WiFi. They do have DSL, you need a $20 deposit to get a cable from the office, we did not, just used our Verizon aircard. The restrooms and showers were spotless. We stayed here to be able see the northern side of the Olympic Peninsula. As previously stated the sites are pretty close together but that was not a problem. The hosts are great and the park could not be any cleaner. Even though the park is right off the main street in Sequim the owners used landscaping to block so you don't feel "downtown" at all. We would stay here again if we ever come back to the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This place is neat and clean, with excellent laundry and great staff (campground hosts). Nice location in Sequim. Quiet at night. The only downside is that they don't have Wi-Fi. Internet access is via a cable run through the window of your RV. I worked as an engineer at Hewlett-Packard, and I could not get it to work. The nice folks in the office could not help me, as much as they tried. After a week, driving to the local Internet Cafe to do email got a bit old. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Sites are close together, so it's very "cozy" but very nice overall for a few days stay. It is walking distance to the downtown area, with shops and eateries. A longer walk would bring you to a marvelous little restaurant, the Oak Table Cafe, which has excellent breakfasts and lunches, all fresh ingredients, beautifully prepared and served, in a lovely building. We have always found the Gilgal hosts helpful and friendly, and they keep the park spotless, including the very nice bathrooms and showers. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This a a small but spotless RV park located right in Sequim. Not far from the park is Carrie Blake park, an area dedicated to dogs and dog lovers. There are on leash trails throughout the park along with an off leash area for both small and large dogs. The RV park is extremely friendly and I would highly recommend it to anyone passing through Sequim or staying long term. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A very well maintained park with grass. The cable TV and hard wire DSL was great. The streets and sites are paved. There are 28 sites. Spacing between sites is adequate for slides but sites are not oversized. Park is not really set up for children: no pool or playground. Park personnel were very friendly and polite. The city of Sequim is quaint, clean with a Wal-Mart, Costco, Home Depot and many locally owned business and small farms. A good location to access Cape Flattery, Hurricane Ridge, Dungesness Recreation Area and more. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very friendly and helpful owners. A very nice place. Easy to find near downtown Sequim. Paved sites, with grass mowed in between. Everything worked. Internet is via DSL and you run a line (that is provided) into your rig, via a window. DSL was very fast and reliable. Restrooms were as clean as home and new looking. A very good choice for visiting the area. However, there are no “activities” or pool or such. Laundry was as clean as restrooms. Though one block from the main street, there was no noise. Easy and comfortable for touring Port Townsend, Sequim and Port Angeles. We stayed 6 nights. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We loved this park! The people were very warm and friendly, the park was small, but well-kept and very clean. We did not use the restrooms, but the laundry room was very clean. The pet area was small, but well maintained. We used their dog sitting service, which was a blessing for us, as we took the day trip to Victoria. We were very satisfied with the park, they were waiting for us when we arrived around 7PM. One of the hosts directed us right into a site and helped get us set up before I went to the office to pay. The laundry room was clean and even had an ironing board for your use, only thing they did not have a coin changer so I had to go across the street to get change. The pads are asphalt along with the roads, grass inbetween each with tables. It is a very nice park and the people hosting are very nice and helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.

On arrival we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff on duty. The entire park is perfectly clean! And of course the lovely fragrance of lavender surrounded the park. One of the staff even gave us a fresh cut bundle of lavender from their landscaping lavender. There is a small area at one end of the park with a fire pit and horseshoe pits. The location is within walking distance of downtown shopping and a great grocery store close by. We will remember this wonderful park and make it a destination when in this part of Washington. This is one of the best run, cleanest RV parks we have stayed in during the 15 years of motor homing. In 2007 we visited every park in Port Angles and Sequim. This is the only one we would long term camp in. Have been here three months beginning in June. The hosts are the best. Most are retired military and go way out of the way to help and serve you. The internet is DSL - just hook up and it is on. No passwords or hassle to get it running. Is included in the park cost. Great senior center several hundred feet away that has all kinds of programs going on. A good small restaurant in the senior center. Great selection of restaurants within walking distance. Nearby is a good gym and the towns recreation center has a huge pool, many types of work out rooms and activities. Many good "visiting" places around the bay and on the islands. It is rain forest land so many days of broken rain and sun. Many good hiking trails in the nearby National Forest. We are in a motorhome. Probably will not come back due to 3000 miles from winter quarters and not because of the park or area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

As we arrived at Gilgal, we were surprised to discover it was “downtown” basically in an industrial park kind of atmosphere with lots of vacant lots, etc. They are true to the name “oasis” as it definitely seemed out of place from what we have experienced with other parks. Without a doubt, this is the smallest park we have visited. That being said, it was also very well kept with a well designed pad layout. Very clean, excellent access for power/water/sewer etc. Full cable and DSL is included. We were greeted by camp hosts John and Jackie who went the extra mile to ensure our experience was first-class. John escorted us to our site, helped get us parked, and even brought us some plywood plates to help level our 5th wheel. Most everyone used varying degrees of leveling material on their pads. To me, the sites seemed quite small. We had a “back in” site so our rear picture window was a foot from a 6 foot fence separating us from our neighbor. As I was hooking up the water, I was standing in our side neighbor’s yard watching them eat dinner at the campground provided picnic table. Not that this was bad but something we have not experienced before. There is no privacy in this park if that is an important factor. The park is new so all the amenities like rest rooms, laundry, office, etc. are very nice. The restroom/shower was very nice, extremely clean but can only be used by one at a time! Personally, this is great, but it does require good timing to get in. This is also the first private park we have visited that didn’t have some commodities to sell campers i.e. ice, treats, and RV necessities, whatever! A QFC was within close proximity so a few trips to the store provided ice and whatever we needed. There is no recreation, per se, within walking distance of this park. One needs to plan for day trips and sight-seeing if you are not a “sitter”. The park does have a small recreation area with a picnic table, horseshoe pit and a bench swing…big enough for one family or possible two. The dog run is like a 10 yard grass sidewalk and is very well maintained. This is a nice park. Would I stay here again? Probably not. Not because of any thing being wrong with the park but because there just doesn’t seem to be much to do in Sequim if you are only staying a few days. We went to the casino, stopped by John Wayne Marina, and went to Wal-Mart. If you have the extra time, you can take advantage of the many attractions of the Olympic Peninsula. I think we simply prefer parks with at least a path to walk or beach to comb etc. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

They are wild about lavender here, with lavender plants, lavender adirondack chairs on the front porch, lavender hoses in the laundry room, and lavender shower curtains! The campground manager was friendly and wearing lavender sportswear. I'm surprised the asphalt wasn't painted lavender! Further research reveals that Sequim has an annual lavender festival every July. Seriously, this is a great park if you want to stay in the town of Sequim. The rate I am showing is the summer rate before discounts. The park is within walking distance of a good grocery store. Further, it's close to a Senior Center if you are interested. The RV pads are asphalt. There are both pull-through and back-in. The back-in spaces are paired, in that your RV will be backed up against the back end of another RV, with a wood fence for separation. If your RV doesn't have a rear window, this isn't much of an issue. But if you do have a rear window, and a pet who loves to look out that window, well, the pet will be disappointed. The pull-through spaces are better for the larger rigs. This is my second time here. On my last trip I had a back-in. This time, they let me have a pull-through since I carry an electric bike scooter on the back and a pull-through would give me more room to pull my bike off. There is a good strip of grass between each space, and each space has a sturdy picnic table. The restrooms and laundry room (accessible by special codes) sparkle! The cable has a good selection of channels. This is the only RV park I have seen so far that has free DSL instead of wireless. If you don't have your own ethernet cable (you will need at least 20 feet), the managers are happy to loan you a cable for a $20 refundable deposit. Also, my cat came down with medical problems, the managers knew a vet that was less than a mile from the park, and I was able to get my cat right in! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is small but very nice. Roads and sites are level and paved. Located in the town of Sequim (pronounced Squim) this park is convenient to shopping and restaurants. The facilities are modern and very well kept. The grounds are neatly kept and the landscaping is manicured. Camp hosts were wonderful and helpful. On Saturday mornings, spring through fall, there are farmers markets in Sequim and Port Townsend ( a short drive from Sequim). Highly recommend the market in Port Townsend. Best park in the Sequim area and the only one not affected by Hwy 101 noise. Nearly new park with gorgeous grounds and great views of the mountains. In-town location is convenient. Hosts were exceptionally friendly and hosted a bonfire and potluck for all campers to meet each other. Restrooms were spotless and gorgeous with a very cozy residential feel. Free high-speed internet was included and was wired, DSL at each site (rather than Wi-Fi). They will loan you a cable if you don't have one. Certainly would stay again. This turned out to be our favorite park because of it's size and atmosphere. We were here in the off season so we had no trouble getting in, but you'd probably want to make a reservation in the Spring/Summer. The managers were exceptionally nice. The park is easy to get to off of Highway 101 on the East side of town. It's close to everything in Sequim. They have a nice rec room with billards, ping-pong and comfy chairs, along with a kitchen you may use. The laundry is on the small size (only 3 washers) but very clean. The restrooms are clean. The Adiago (sp?) coffee shop is a must do! It's about 1000 feet to the East and staffed by very helpful and nice women. The coffee is delicious! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We visited this park in mid-summer and found it to be the most charming and well kept park we've ever stayed at. The work campers are helpful and very friendly, constantly caring for the grounds as well as keeping the restrooms, showers and clubhouse immaculate. On weekend mornings a continental breakfast is served that was second to none. The park is small enough to be friendly and get to know your neighbors at evening camp fires. The sites are adequate for big rigs. There are lawns and picnic tables between each site. It is situated in a perfect location within easy walking distance to parks, downtown shopping areas, bike trails, restaurants as well as public transportation. There is no street or highway noise although the park is just minutes off Highway 101. We were at the park at the time of the "Parvo incident" and personally observed the camp hosts scrub the sites with bleach, spray the grounds with disinfectant and notify other dog owners of the situation. We will return to this park whenever we are in Washington. Be sure to make advance reservations, the park is very popular, especially during the summer months. We camped here in a Motorhome.

It is a nice little park but it is in an industrial area. Looks like an autobody shop next door. When we arrived the staff was pretty well stressed out and not pleasant. A camper had brought a dog in the day before which was infected with Parvo virus. The information I found said that this virus is very persistent and the affected areas need to be sterilized with bleach, but I didn't see the staff doing anything like that. Anyone who walked their dog in the dog walk area is probably risking losing their pet. The staff seemed to be on edge and picky about enforcing their rules. You are not allowed to wash your vehicles but you are required to keep them clean. The facilities are really nice though - if it was your typical gravel campground with weak utilities it would be a 1 but since it is all paved and strong utilities I gave them a 6. If we had visited some other time and the staff had been more friendly this would have been a 10 park. If I come back here I'll probably try one of the other parks although this is probably the best one in the area. I thought the rate was too high, poor value, but the park is full up so make a reservation. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Clean, well run park. We were greeted by work camper staff on arrival, assisted into our site, and given an overview of the park's amenities -- very friendly folks. The park reminded us more of a bread and breakfast than an RV park owing to the many personal touches throughout. Spaces were nicely maintained, lawns well watered, laundry facilities and restrooms immaculate, and all sites and driveways are paved. The park, located in downtown Sequim, is centrally located in Sequim, with easy drives to Pt. Angeles, Pt. Townsend, the northern Olympic Peninsula (Hurricane Ridge, Hoa Rainforest, etc). This is a decent park, right on Highway 101, so there is some road noise. It did quiet down a lot at night. Some sites are tight, and some are not. We chose a gravel back in site that was huge. We wanted to get satellite signal, and the site was away from some of the big trees. There was a kind of annoying fountain in the pond that ran all night that I could have lived without. The dog yard was nice, but other than that, there is no place to exercise the pets outside of the park. Easy driving distance to Olympic National Park. I would stay here again. The park itself is nice, but some sites are better than others. They are too close together in some areas and fine in others. The owners and camp hosts are real nice and friendly but the one thing that detracts from the score is the highway noise. The park sits right on US 101. At night the noise is not so bad but during the day it is difficult to sit outside, at least toward the front of the park. The Wi-Fi is fine and there are lots of cable channels. It is a good location from which to explore Olympic National Park. 30 miles to to the top of Hurricane Ridge (beautiful) and there is 7 Cedars Casino about 9 miles away. Just north (5 mi.) is the Olympic Game Farm with lots of "wild" animals in a drive though zoo. You can have llamas and yaks drool on you if you want. Got lots of good pictures. Apparently we missed the lavender season (starts next month) but is Sequim's claim to fame. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is very well maintained and really pretty with a pond and lots of flowers. The staff are very friendly and exceedingly helpful. The showers are fabulous with plenty of room, mat for the floor and lovely hot water. Pets are catered for with a large fenced off area for them to run around and play. There is only one negative point - the R.V. sites are very narrow so camping units are parked very close to one another. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We picked this park because it offered tent and RV, to be near tent sites we had to have a site with no sewer (which we agreed to) and tent area sounded nice on internet. Upon arriving, we were sent to back of park next to maintenance yard, and sort of lacking in a defined camp area. Told everything was good," put your tent where you want etc. This is not a good park for tents, or RVs road noise is bad and ruins environment. Also in tent area were a motorhome, RV, truck, boat and misc., this is not camping. At almost the end of our stay they came and told us we have to move tent, so they could put in a motorhome. We left for day after our tent camper left too and found they had crammed in not one but two motorhomes. What a disappointment this whole place was, sites are extremely close together, some slides almost touch, and lots of tow vehicles parked all over the place. Park is pretty and well maintained, but it is not worth the money they charge and they do not stick with what they tell you. Their explanation is well we got busy, so things change, that is poor business practice. Know your park and its limitations and book accordingly. Will not come back here ever! This park was very clean, well maintained, kid and pet friendly. We were greeted by courteous, helpful hosts. My 12 year old daughter was safe to roam around the park on her own. We have a German shepherd who could run through their pet area, which is of a decent size and kept clean. Very friendly place. I recommend Rainbows End RV Park. I must add the restrooms and showers were immaculate. Great stay! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very attractive park surrounding a pond with waterfall, fountain, fish & ducks. Although located on Highway 101, was relatively quiet. Well kept shrubs, flowers, and trees. Narrow paved roads with sharp curves. Tiny gravel sites, some as narrow as 10 feet. We, as 15 year full-timers, had never before had parking-related rig damage to our 32 foot fiver. Watch out for the apple tree at the sharp right turn; it damaged our awning and ripped a hole in our roof membrane in spite of assistance by a highly skilled parking guide. Although we had a relatively spacious site, the neighbor’s awning was 3 inches from our slide. Small picnic table at each site. No open fires. Water pressure 60#. We won’t be back unless we trade for a tiny rig. Environmentally unconscious; no recycling. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Small little RV Park with tight quarters for the big guys. Since we're in a smaller trailer it wasn't so bad for us. This is an exceptionally friendly park and they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Their Wi-Fi was great and the fish pond was fun. Bathrooms are small: only two showers and two toilets but extremely clean. Located right beside Hwy 101, it seemed that it should have been noisy but we never noticed. This is a small family-owned park. The grounds and facilities are well maintained, and the workers are friendly. Their Wi-Fi is excellent and there are 63 Cable TV channels. The laundry room is small, with 2 each washers and dryers, reasonably priced. The restroom and showers were clean. Some sites are close together when they are full, and it is right off Highway 101 so there is some road noise. This is a very dog-friendly park, with a large, fenced dog area, and one of the hosts is available for dog sitting. There is also a nice, grassy tent area under tall trees. While kids are not discouraged, there is no play area or anything for them to do. There is lots to do in the area and I would return. Rates go up in the summer. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park is an easy off Hwy 101 but if you are coming from the west you have to go around the block and approach from the east. The sites are tight and the park has constant traffic noise. Pleasant people. Park is nicely kept. The only problem is getting into it if you are coming from Port Angeles with a long rig. You are better off going to the next overpass and using it to reverse directions. Otherwise you have a relatively tight U-turn to get on the north side of the 4-lane where the park is. I camped at Rainbow's End one night, the night of Thursday August 5 hoping to visit the Olympic Game Park and the lavender farms the next day. It was the height of the camping season, so even though the host put me next to an old maintenance building with only 110 (which means I couldn't run my air conditioner, but then I didn't need an air conditioner in Sequim with temperatures in the 60's during the day) I was happy to get a place to camp without reservations that night during such a prime time of the camping season on no notice. The camp host was very accommodating and helped me to my campsite, and even came back to make sure the power was working on both plugs. The owner was also very nice as I checked in after closing so I paid the next day. Showers and restrooms were just fine, clean and everything working. Very happy about that. I didn't test the Wi-Fi, as I used the Wi-Fi at the Sequim Starbucks which had a big table for me to use my laptop on. Campground was very quiet which I like. Would camp there again if the opportunity arises. It was overall a good experience. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

This is a beautifully landscaped little park with nice facilities and friendly staff. Good cell, cable and Wi-Fi reception. Also has a spacious dog park to exercise your pet. The only complaint I had with this park was the sites are way too small. Had we not needed laundry and WiFi we would have passed on this park. However all the RV parks were full and all had small sites. We (a 28 footer) were in site 5, which put us within 3 feet of the rig to next to us. Upon exiting our rig, we had to be carefull not to step on the sewer hookups, about 3 feet from our step. The plus of this park is the cleanliness of the facilities, the restroom and showers were always very clean. The park hosts mentioned by a previous poster were friendly and helpful. We would not stay here again because of the the sites are poorly layed out and extremely close. Having to park your tow vehicle out of sight and away from your site is a negative as well. We would stay at the Clallam County Park in the Dungeness Wild Life Refuge Area, which was very clean and spacious. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The check-in was great, the first hostess was a jewel and her husband was very helpful. However, the assigned back-in site was little more than a strip of gravel wedged between a tree and a 5th wheel with it's slides out. There was no way we could get in there, so we were given a pull-through. Again squeezed between two 5th wheels. Could hardly get out the door without banging our heads on the slide-outs next door. Very tight conditions. Could hear every word spoken inside the adjacent rigs, it was so close. The fenced dog run was most often occupied by three large unattended canines, which later we found to be owned by the other host couple who were parked in the site right next to the dog run. This other couple came on duty during the last few days of our stay and we were made to feel most unwelcome by them. The attitude seemed to be that this was their private place and our family was intruding. Very odd. Kids are at best tolerated at this park, certainly not encouraged or wanted. The place was clean, but very difficult to get around because it was so packed with narrow sites. Maybe ok for an overnight if you are desperate, but not for any extended stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The park roads are narrow as are the many, various sized sites. Most are back-ins and nearly everyone needs to park their tow vehicle in a designated parking area: the spaces of which are too small for larger pickups to negotiate easily. Those lucky enough to be able to park their vehicle on site, often need to move it to allow entry or exit of other rigs. Wi-Fi works good and there are lots of available channels on the cable TV: all but a few are very clear. They have a huge off-leash dog run area, which at times was occupied by an unattended dog. They also have a nice little fish pond. The place appears to be very well maintained, but cramped. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Positives: Super friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Great location in Sequim - very near to Olympic National Park entrances and several state parks and recreation areas. Nearby shopping (Walmart, Costco, Safeway). Excellent FREE WI-FI. Negatives: Gravel spots, which are VERY narrow. Not possible to put out the awning. Right on the 101 (although we were back from the road, so it wasn't too noisy). Coming from the west, you can't make a left into the RV Park; and you can't make a left to leave westbound on the 101. We had to travel past the RV Park and make a U-turn up the road (not so easy in a 45'er with a toad). We'll have to do the same when we leave. They charge $2 extra per day to use A/C (50 amp). In spite of the negatives, it appears to be the nicest place in Sequim. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a lovely RV park with some of the most beautiful flowers and landscaping I have seen in any RV park. The bathrooms are lovely and are kept spotless. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. The small pond is picturesque and its very entertaining to watch the large trout (pets) being fed from the adjoining deck. There is great WiFi and cable TV. Some of the spots are a little close together but I have certainly seen worse. It is very dog friendly with a nice fenced area for the dogs, it seems especially popular with Labradors (mine love it). A few friendly full timers here but no riffraff. The park is just a mile or two out of town which has everything from Costco to WalMart, Safeway and QFC. Within a short walk is the fabulous Sunny Farms which has produce, fresh seafood, meat, poultry a deli and baked goods too. It is a fabulous place! Just a couple hundred yards further down the road is an RV place where you can pick up parts. Oh, the park has a great view of the snow capped Olympic Mountains, and its just a few miles to reach the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the beautiful Dungeness Spit and Lighthouse. Port Angeles is only about 20 minutes west of here and Port Townsend is about 45 minutes in the other direction. If you like to gamble there is a casino just outside of town. The park is directly on HWY 101 so there is some noise at times (there is a sound barrier fence), but at night the traffic is sparse. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I really enjoyed this park! It is a tiny park, but very well maintained. Although they definitely had some people living there, the RVs were all very nice and neat. The park is near the road, but the road is not a busy one at night, so the road noise is minimal. We did receive an escort to our site, but we were so close to the office it was more like they pointed at it and said, "over there". The spaces are close together and I was glad we were in a small travel trailer. But there were several pull through sites for big rigs. The bathrooms were very clean, the showers were hot, and the water pressure was adequate. The laundry room was small - two washers and two dryers. But they were very clean and very affordable. The washer was $1.25 and the dryer was $1.00. I never had to wait very long to get access to available washers and dryers. Cable was great and wireless was awesome - free and a great signal, so rare at parks these days. I would definitely stay here again if we traveled through this area another time. This is a small, but cute RV park located along US Highway 101. Although there is a barrier fence, you will hear some road noise during the quiet hours of the late evening. The road noise doesn't bother me, but may be an issue for someone else. Other reviews indicate the RV spaces are "close together." To me, the spacing between RV's is average, about what I would expect for this type of park. I've been in worse for "closeness." This park has 31 numbered sites and 9 "lettered" sites. Further, there are 8 "tent spaces" in a forested area. The RV sites are both pull-through and back in. The connections are placed more toward the front of the slots. If you have a big rig, you might possibly need an extension cord. For me, both my electric cord, and my 25 foot cable TV cord were long enough to reach. Although some of the sites can accommodate "big rigs," I only saw a few of them here. One big "plus" that I found is that the water faucet was covered in insulation and buried in the ground in a sand-filled container with a lid. Great for winter-time stays. The hosts were very gracious! I got a personal escort to my site! Also, one of the hosts discovered that she had inadvertently overcharged me, and she voluntarily brought me a receipt for a refund of the overcharge! On the other hand, 30 amp is included in the cost. Cable and WiFi are free. The cable has a wide selection of channels (to include Canadian Channels); and if you have a digital TV, you will get some additional audio channels. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry rooms are open 24 hours a day. The park also has propane service, always a plus. And, for those with canine companions, there is a "puppy park." If you need RV parts, there is an RV store with a good selection of supplies within a brisk walk from the park. Also, if you don't want to cook, there is a restaurant called "Flippers" that is open for breakfast and lunch only. I would highly recommend this park for a good place to spend the winter (they have monthly rates in winter), or a good place to say while visiting in Sequim. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Clean, relatively quiet given the proximity to highway. Fenced, grassy doggy play area was especially appreciated. Fish pond was in great shape when we were there and a few ducks were on the pond. Only negative here would be that this is a tightly packed park. Good for small to medium size units and motorhomes with a tight turning radius and no toad. Don't believe their website: the new owners are destroying this park. The pond is now polluted and the fish are dying a horrible death. The owners have concocked a nasty maze of posts, cables and netting in an effort to drive the ducks out of their homes. The staff is friendly but the owners sure have issues with most anyone who comes into the park. Lots of gossip. Local bad elements are allowed to live in this park which puts everyone at risk. Lots to see and do on the Olympic Peninsula, it is a beautiful area. I would stay somewhere else for sure. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park is under new management (as far is I was told). Very friendly when making the reservation and very friendly when meeting in person the next day (we arrived late). Site was easy to get in and out, no problems leveling the rig. All hookups well located and in good shape. I don't quite understand the comments about the 30 amp service. It's 30 amp only, yes, but stable and in good shape. Wi-Fi was good. The location right across the bay is nice. Very quiet at night and just 2 miles away from a large QFC store. This park offers little more than a place to park your RV. There is no shade and the sites offer no privacy. Not an issue for us because the park was pretty empty and in November you don't struggle with heatwaves, but this might be a different story in summertime. And for what you get we feel the price is a little ambitious. We didn't use any facilities since we just stayed for one night. We would stay again, when in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I made a reservation for two nights here at $33 plus tax a night. The manager was rude on the phone when I called to make a reservation. My mistake was going ahead and making the reservation. When I got to the park, her rudeness continued. Then after completing the charge to my credit card, she informed me I could not run an A/C because their system is outdated and will overload and shut down the entire park. And it was in the 80’s. She said just use fans or use your generator to run your A/C. This is ridiculous when you are staying in a supposedly professional park and paying $33 + tax per night. I cannot imagine having a manager that is so disrespectful to the customers when I did not say anything to provoke her. Other than the outdated electric and manager’s attitude, this is a decent park, but I would not stay here again due to the manager’s attitude. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice, clean, well run park. A very nice quiet area across from Sequim Bay. Areas of grass and a very short walk to the marina. Most tenets are regulars from the south escaping the heat. We stayed at Sequim Bay Resort from October to February, 2011. We love it! It is one of our favorite campgrounds. The view of Sequim Bay from our windows was incredible. We had full hook-ups (30 amp) including electric for the awesome price of $400 per month. I can't imagine a better deal anywhere. We saw lots of birds in the bay plus seals. We even had hummingbirds at our feeders. Shopping is nearby with Costco, Wal-Mart and Safeway & QFC Grocery and much more. The campground hosts are awesome, they even love geocaching like us. We spent 4 nights here and loved it. Yes the grass isn't green in all places and the power is above ground on poles but everything worked fine, especially the satellite TV and Wi-Fi. I did not need tokens for the showers and there was plenty of hot water. Don't know where previous camper got their info on this. The laundry was adequate and everything I saw was nice and clean. The view is spectacular of Sequim Bay and the park next to the Marina. You can walk over to the marina and sit at one of many benches and tables to watch people, animals or birds. We felt it was very quiet at night which is when it matters to us. The people there as well as the management were all friendly and knowledgeable. Interior roads are gravel as are most of the sites. There is no pool. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I was wondering why this was the only RV campground available in May for reservations over 4th of July. This has to be the least nicest RV campground we have seen over the last month of our summer trip. First, all sites look like yellow hay and/or are gravel. If you are looking for an overnighter I would consider it, but my water supply was under a brick and had spider webs and filthy water. Needed gloves to have a water supply. Zero amenities, but nice campers and management although very narrow spaces and you have to park your truck next to your rig. When I checked in and asked to use the bathroom, the manager informed me the office was her home and use my own rig. The only things positive about this yucky campground, was my gravel site was level and across the street there is the John Wayne Marina, with a green park, nice view of the Lake, and a decent restaurant. If you are looking for a clean place, without bugs, this isn't your place. The laundry room had nice washers and very dirty dryer. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We love this RV park. Even though the structural facilities are not new, everything is clean and well maintained. The managers do an outstanding job of running this RV park. The location on Sequim Bay cannot be beat, as the John Wayne Marina is beautiful. It's a great place to watch the boats, birds, and seals. We have been staying here every summer since 2000, and plan to continue to do so. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Rate reflects Good Sam rate.. We don't do reservations so this was our only choice which turned out to be just fine. Not a fancy park by any means, but the view was great. The area was quiet and the park at the marina was a great place to walk with beautiful grass. The restrooms are old, but were clean. The lady that checked us in was very pleasant. Looks like quite a few spend the summer here and the rv's were well kept up. It was a good choice and would come back here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Gravel roads, dead grass, many residents, not a friendly park. However, it is across the road from from John Wayne Marina and Sequim Bay. Above rate based on month's stay, includes electricity. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

OK, it may not be a resort, but I think using the word "dump" is a little drastic. Nice large sites, a little dusty and dry because Sequim is one of the driest places in all of Washington. Very quiet, good location across the street from a lovely park and beautiful marina. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I found this RV park on the internet and the pictures and description are FAR from what the place really looks like. First the word RESORT should not be included in their internet site. The place is so far from being a RESORT, more like a dump. The place is so old, the electrical towers are rusted, some look like they have been run over. There's no grass or trees like in the internet ad, the only true is that the so called RESORT is across from the bay. The ad states a claming beach, what they do not say is the beach has a pollution sign on it. It is very dusty. No recreation facilities of any kind, no barbecue grills as stated in their internet site. I will never stay there again, nor recommend it to anyone. They do not take credit cards, I suppose it's from fear that people would stop payment after staying there. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We have a 40' Class A and found the roads fine for our rig. The sites are shaded by tall pines. Length was adequate (#9) , not too spacious between sites, and wasn't level; but we have had worse. Verizon cell and data were very good. Good base to visit Olympic National Park. Lavender farms were interesting. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was not our first stay here. Was looking for a site for 4 nights. Nothing was available in the hook up section. And that is all right. We can dry camp/boondock for at least that long in our rig. I chose a site plenty long enough for our 30 foot motorhome and park my Jeep in front of it. The only downside is the site is right at the front of the park, just off the main highway and there is lots of highway noise during the daytime hours. But not enough to really bother me. Site is pretty level. Fire ring is not usable, due to being right at the end of the parking pad. Lots of shade. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We camped here 9 years ago and enjoyed it so much that we have always wanted to return. It is in a beautiful forest of old-growth cedars and pines and is situated right on the Bay overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca. We somehow lucked out and managed to get the same site, #82, that we had in 2002. I think I just stumbled on a cancellation. It is one of the sites closest to the water and was big enough to hold our 26 ft. trailer and truck. Quite a large site with a good view. The best site in the place though, is #80, and we noticed it was not reserved for our second night and so we asked if we could move. The ranger and also the lady in the Registration Booth were so nice and helpful in accommodating our request. A bit of a hassle for one night but absolutely worth it. Total privacy and views of the Bay from every window in our trailer. Heavenly! There are no hookups in the lower loop though, so we were dry camping but for a few nights we don't mind. I can't comment on the washrooms or showers, although my husband went for a shower and thought it was quite nice. We took a little hike along the trails in the campground and it is really gorgeous. Worth doing, for sure. I noticed another reviewer thought it was very noisy (highway road noise) which surprises me because we could not hear any traffic noise at all. Maybe that is just on the higher up loop closest to the road. All we could hear was the lovely birdsong in the morning along with some noisy crows. Loved it. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The people were very friendly, the bathrooms were clean, it was relatively quiet and peaceful. Part of the RV camping is near the main road, so depending on the site you get, you may get road noise. They sell firewood, which was nice. Each site has its own fire pit and picnic table. We were disappointed at the water front access, not very nice and just 2 small areas. I was also disappointed that the website says there is a playground, but it was actually only a really old swing set. Our campsite backed up to a really steep drop off, which made us a little nervous with 2 little boys, but otherwise the park was very nice. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Noisy, Noisy, Noisy. It is right on the highway and the traffic noise is constant. The bathrooms were somewhat clean, but needed much more attention. The hot water did not work, even with the tokens. There were trees overhanging our campsite and we asked the rangers to trim the trees. There were fire bans in Washington and this was a real fire hazard. They were friendly and cut the branches. We would not stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I brought my husband here, on our way around the 101 loop. He absolutely loved it. The tent spaces are large,clean, and level. The park staff are friendly, and knowledgeable. The restrooms were clean, and the showers were nice! We walked down to the bay, enjoyed the beautiful Straight of Juan De Fuca. We will definitely come back. There are plenty of spaces, and a playground for kids. This is a wonderful, well kept park. We camped here in a Tent.

This is a small State Park near Sequim, WA and is open year round. Although there are 26 RV hookup sites, only 16 of them are currently used. It's a good thing, if all 26 were used, it would be cramped! The RV sites, which are all "back-in," are sloped back against a ravine and can only accommodate 30 foot RV's at the bare maximum. However, a big rig came in, and I held my breath watching them park. They made it, but their back end stuck way out over the ravine. I recommend you chock your tires, although there is a concrete "backstop." TV reception via antenna is a little snowy on the analog channels, but ok on the digital channels. You can tune in to both Canadian and American channels. If you use your own shower, the water pressure is the best I've ever seen for a State Park! The park also has 60 tent sites and a large "Group camp" site, but these areas were closes for the winter. If you want to dry camp in the tent sites, your RV cannot be larger than 25 feet, a sign is posted! This park only takes reservations May - September, after that it's first come, first serve. It's best to get here on a Thursday, even in the fall. This park is popular for boating, picnicking, and birding. The park has a cute little interpretive station where you can learn more than you ever wanted to know about clams, mussels, and oysters! There is a swing set for the children, hiking trails for the ambitious, and a horseshoe pit, softball field, and tennis court. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Older, but nice clean park. We had a excellent view of Sequim Bay and the Park at the John Wayne Marina from the front row of the park. Laundry and restroom facilities were older but clean and well kept. Just a short drive into Sequim. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is located on a north facing slope so be prepared for mostly dark and chilly especially if you're tenting. The RV site (3) we parked on wasn't level. All RV sites are next to the highway so there is some road noise. The electrical infrastrucure is inadequate. We had a 30 amp hookup but a draw of anything over 15 amps would drag the voltage down to under 108V which is unacceptable in my book. We had to make sure we only used one high current appliance at a time. I couldn't really recommend this campground unless you're just using it for a stop over. The best feature of the campground is the overnight boat moorage with a dock and a couple of picnic tables. Great view from there with plenty of sea life (seals, stars, crabs, and fish). There is a boat launch but you have to time boat launches and retrievals with the tides. When the tide is out it's unusable. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I had trouble finding a RV site heading back to Victoria and phoned and made a reservation here without looking at my RV book. What a mistake this was. This site is probably the worse site I have stayed at. Very poor, not well maintained or looked after sites. Most were long term residents who kept older units and very messy sites. My power went out on several occasions and the manager did not know what was wrong. The only positive item is that it was located in the downtown area of Sequim. I would never stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We tried to get a reservation at the other local parks but they were full. We picked this place based on their website and the nice service we received on the phone. The only positive I can say is that it has full hookups if you are desperate. It was VERY dirty - our site was filled with old cigarette butts. The grass was dead. There is no security at all and we were placed 25 feet from the main street. They advertise WiFi on their Marquee, however the office staff claimed to not understand computers and were unable to provide me with the secure passcode. It appears to be long term residents. The residents do not keep up their rigs and partied until all hours. I would drive up the road to the next town if I got in this situation again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
