Beautiful State Park located on a nice lake. Nice swimming area, lots of open spaces and well tended lawn areas. Boat launch available for those so inclined. East campground is better suited for motorhomes, trailers, and truck campers as the sites are more level and larger. However, since this is an older campground, even the paved sites are not very level. Camp store close by for refreshments and a few other supplies. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have been going to Pearrygin Lake SP since our kids were very young, but took an 8 year break up until this year. The original (east) park is basically unchanged with huge sites in a beautiful setting right on the lake. The park bought the adjacent Derry's resort which was always crammed with mediocre sites and facilities. Hopefully WA ST can spend some money to improve this (west) portion - it really needs it. In the original (east) campground, the bathrooms are pretty small for the number of people staying here, with no soap dispensers and only one shower. The other gripe is that the place is always packed because of the proximity to fun Winthrop and the family-friendly activities at the park and lake - unfortunately this makes for a cluttered look with most sites having multiple tents in addition to trailers and RVs, boats and cars .. everywhere, plus inflatables laying everywhere. So if you are looking for a quiet relaxing campground - this ain't it. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This little park is a jewel. Though a bit of a winding road gets you there. It was self check in while we were there. The sites are paved and very well spread out. Which is nice after staying in glorified parking lots of RV parks. There is a nice little lake and a small beach front access. The restrooms were clean as was the shower. I didn't use it, so I can't attest to the quality or strength of the hot water. Of course there is no Wi-Fi or cable, but the peaceful surroundings more than make up for this! We did get local channels with just our antenna up. Overall, a very nice park and we would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is park is in a wonderful location right on the shore of Lake Pearrygin. We stayed in the West campground. This is an old commercial campground that has been converted to a state park. RV sites are small and VERY close together. Noisy at night. The East campground is very nice, and is the original state park. If you can get a reservation for the east side, stay there. If you can only get the west side, go somewhere else. If rating the east side, I would have given it an 8 or 9. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

When we got there it was VERY CHILLY and we took a waterfront site. Got all setup and discovered the water to that loop was shutoff (no signage about it). Had to unset and move to another loop where they had water. Oh well, that's winter camping. LOT'S of deer roaming through the CG. This is another of the Wash State Parks gems. There is another cg section, west, and that's not as nice.Try to get a res in the east cg. Oh,and we had about two inches of snow the second night, but that's not the cg's fault. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Big Rigs need to get a reservation! This is the East CG. The pullthrus are "too curvy" for large motorhomes and parking was difficult. Pullthrus not banked correctly and blocking necessary on one side. Backin's fine--asphalt and level. Only one loop has electric, and the loop was attractive and spacing between sites good. They UPcharge electric as a "premium" site which I was misadvised on the phone and refused to pay. Lakefronts have trees and shrubs and the lake is obstructed from view on most "lakefront" sites. Staff are invisible; office hours 4-5 pm so you can't get info unless you ask campground host. Appears that another loop is being developed for larger rigs. The West CG is NOT attractive;it is an old RV park acquired by this State Park and needs much work. Nice western motif town nearby for tourist shopping and dining. We would not return without a reservation for a larger site and would probably seek an alternative campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is our 3rd visit in 2 years to this park. We like the big trees, grass and lake presence. Staff is friendly, sites are quite large even if a bit unlevel. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This old park is in process of being upgraded by the new owners, who take care of it personally. Hookups work as they should. Wi-Fi is great. Village with restaurants and shops(and the local museum) in walking distance. Rate reflects PA discount. We camped here in a Motorhome.

I'd call this a hidden gem in plain site. I couldn't believe it was A) relatively cheap and B) not jam-packed. It's very close walking distance to the charming little western downtown strip of Winthrop. It was the only RV park I found in the area with good Verizon signal (phone and data). The place is a work in progress. The bathrooms are brand-new and they were installing brand-new washer/dryers as we were here. The park had been run down from years of neglect and the friendly new owners are doing a great job of reversing the damage and making this a classy park. They were running around all over the place to water the grass while staying out of the way of the guests and thoughtful enough to change the light bulbs in the showers to be more flattering. There were practically as many deer and offspring as there were RVers roaming the premises. This will be a 10/10 when some of their projects are completed. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We love Winthrop, WA and now we equally love Pine Near RV Park. It is an easy walk to the town of Winthrop, one street back from the main street (Riverside Ave) and incredibly quiet. We found the owners very helpful and friendly, prior to booking and when we arrived. Our site was beautiful, lush and green grass, many shade trees. Most of the campground is like this. The public facilities were very clean and new. We have always enjoyed our time at Winthrop and now we will enjoy going back to one of our favorite towns and now also Pine Near RV Park. I cannot recommend this campground/RV park strongly enough. It was a delight. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a good stop for one night. It is an in town location surrounded by residential neighbors, but it is very close to downtown Winthrop if you don't have a tow vehicle to get around. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground/RV park is wonderful. The hostess was so helpful and pleasant. There were deer roaming through our campsite, and our friends rented an on-site teepee that was a great experience. It's only a short walk to downtown Winthrop which is a very unique and friendly town. We were there for the Rhythm and Blues Festival outside of town, but we liked the RV park better than the festival and spent most of the week at "home" in camp. The entire park is grassy, with lots of shade trees. We've already reserved it for next year. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This RV Park through a monkey wrench into all our summer plans. We were going to stay a week but loved the people and park so much we are staying until Oct. When we first got here the whole park was getting an update - as in new electrical, plumbing, new wash house and new washer and dryers. All the new changes were amazing and it was so fun to watch. The best part, the new owners are fantastic. Great location - Winthrop and the area are so beautiful - we even went mushroom hunting! From the forest to the dinner table. We are already making plans to come back next summer. This is our wonderful home away from home. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We called ahead for reservations and were told they were not busy and we would have the "best site in the park". When we got there, we couldn't find the site since all the sites were in process of being renumbered. Turns out the site she told us we would get was rented to someone else by another staff member - very disorganized. We settled for the next best space, which there were only a couple, since it also turns out most spaces were being refurbished and were unlevel and muddy. The sprinkler system was on constantly, and I got sprayed in the face one morning as I left the travel trailer. There were no bathrooms or laundry facilities, they were being remodeled as well. Even though the facility wasn't ready for full use, they still charged full price. And their attitude was if we didn't like it, we could always leave. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Pine Near RV Park & Campground has quick, walk-to access to downtown Winthrop. $15 tent sites & $27 RV sites. They are currently updating their showers and restrooms to slate tile and putting new washers and dryers in the Log Cabin. Excellent cell service and Wi-Fi was helpful! I think you will find this a convenient place to stay while in the Methow Valley. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice folks, big sites, and quiet. They have a shuttle to town. The walk to town is not great with narrow shoulders and lots of traffic. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a last minute trip for us over the Labor Day weekend. We were amazed to find a spot available. This campground is within walking distance from the town of Winthrop, and due to the traffic/parking problems in Winthrop, I consider it a real plus. We ran out of things to do in the town but could have gone rafting or mountain biking. There some shops with interesting items, small restaurants with mostly bar food, and a great bakery called the Rocking Horse Bakery. This campground is all grassy, with just a utility pole to designate spots. They have a huge laundry area and also some permanent mobile homes that they rent out. The park appeared to be a favorite of BMW motorcycle riders. The park itself was very quiet. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

The good: electric, Wi-Fi, staff, Methow River adjacent, proximity to fun town, suitability for trailers and tents. The not good: no site preparation. You park on whatever nature provided.  We asked for level. We were told 1% slope. We got a 6% equal to 9 inches out of level. This not possible for a motorhome without levelers. Also, only one utility post with 20/30/50 amp outlets for two sites. Whoever gets there first gets the 30 amp plug. It also means running electric and water under your unit to reach the hook-ups. There are Dirt/gravel roads. There is no cable TV. It was tight for me to maneuver a 24 ft. motorhome. This is definitely not for big rigs. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Very nice, clean park, the North American Truck Camper Owner's Association has this as a regular stop on our Fall Colors Caravan through Washington. Park has a smaller group meeting area that we had to add onto with lots of pop up canopies to seat everyone (we took over the park, we're a large group), but we had an all around good time. The only major negative factor of this park is the dump station and its location right on the rather narrow exit road out of the park. If someone stops to dump their tank, odds are you may not be able to get out via the exit road. The park is very quiet at night and has a very nice lake view. Showers are very clean and well kept, and the internet covers the park well, though the ISP that supplies their Wi-Fi with internet can hiccup here and there. Wi-Fi is fast enough to utilize Magic Jack. We camped here in a Truck Camper.

This is a lovely, peaceful campground with friendly, helpful owners and staff. We had a pull-through, so were up the hill from most of the sites, which meant we had lots of space next to our rig and never felt crowded. The sites around the lake and around the interior grass area could be crowded if the campground is full. There were lots of families in tents, lots of children, lots of dogs -- that's either a recommendation or a warning, depending on your point of view. The major drawbacks: no laundry, a couple of pretty tight turns if you have a big rig, the Wi-Fi is erratic but usable. No Verizon phone service, but that's not the campground's fault. There are maybe two or three sites with access to satellite for TV or Internet but, despite the owner's willingness to cut branches off the tree to help us out, ours wasn't one of them. We had nothing to do but sit under that tree, read books and relax. Not bad. We'd stay here again in a minute. I'd give it an 8.5 if I could. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

You will not find a more peaceful and beautiful campground. The lake and mountain views are wonderful. We had WiFi, but it went off in the evening of the second day (maybe because it was extremely windy?) and had not come back on when we left after the second night. As others have said, you cannot get any television stations. We also could not use our Verizon phone here. Still, we thought it was a good value and enjoyed our stay. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Campground has great view of lake. It is not really set up for big rigs. The park guide directed us into a rock doing damage to our fiberglass front cap. Management did nothing to make amends. We will never camp there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a fabulous park located outside of the old western town of Winthrop. The grounds were very well manicured with lots of shade trees and flowers. The restrooms and showers were spotless. There is a mini-golf, a small store with some RV items and essentials. The lake is stocked with trout and the fishing types were having no problem catching them off the docks or from boats. Absolutely no noise during the day or night and it was so peaceful that we hated to leave. We stayed in the upper area and the view of the lake and surrounding hills was perfect. We even saw a few deer roaming around the grounds which added to the flavor. The sites were level and easily accessed. The only drawback was the almost non-existent WiFi outside of the office and some dust as their is no pavement. The WiFi issue could easily be cured by changing the placement of the antenna on the office but the owner is aware of this. There is no local TV reception at the campground but that is not why you go there. All said, a more idyllic setting would be hard to find. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

LOVED IT!!!! What a wonderful park. Clean, quiet, spacious sights. The only downfall is while we were there they had just put chemicals in the lake so we could not fish or go in the water, not a big deal to us. The owners very friendly and helpful. Close enough to town to walk. The kids took advantage of the putt putt golf. We will be back!!! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Spent a wonderful week at Silverline Resort. It is located near Winthrop on the shores of Pearrygin Lake. It was beautifully landscaped with trees and rock flower gardens. It also has abundant green grass with campsites right on the grass. It was like camping on a golf course. The park crew works hard to maintain this place and it shows. The owners a are very friendly couple and were always present and stop by often to say hi. We fished from their docks and caught our limits of rainbow trout every day. The bathrooms were clean and modern. Only drawback was it cost 50 cents for a shower but the water was hot. They have row boat rentals and I believe paddleboats. They have power/water sites right on the lake. The sites are in the grass but they are level and huge. They also have full hookups with a lake view and pull thrus. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed at several KOA's and this one is our favorite. Friendly staff, clean campground with a wide variety of sites available, and very close to all the activities in the area including a shuttle into Winthrop. We had a pull-thru with full hook-ups on a grassy lawn and were impressed with the size of our site. Many KOA's you are packed in like sardines, but not here! It also had a fire-ring. Only complaint would be the location of the sewer hook-up which was several feet away from your electrical and water. Make sure you have a long sewer line. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We liked this KOA. Our spot was spacious, but the Wi-Fi did not reach our site. The staff was very helpful and the facilities were clean. The park location is convenient and easy to access. The price was reasonable for a KOA. I would stay here again, but wish the Wi-Fi had worked. We camped here in a Motorhome.

A very nice park and typical of a good KOA. Expensive, busy pool, lots of tents and cabins. Good river access. Good town access, they run a shuttle to uptown. Wi-Fi is very good. Much of the park is limited or no hookups, but a few real nice full hookups are available. I recommend this park highly. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

VERY helpful staff, Good KOA camp, clean, spacious site, BR's Clean and new. No Fire ring on our site, a portable fire pit was brought out, once noticed. Above average service, and a credit to the KOA chain. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park located right off main highway. Not an easy walk to town but great location with play area for kids, river to explore and pet friendly. Great wi-fi, nice pool and very clean grounds. We had full hookups, satellite, 50 amp, table, grass and a show of deer playing. Owners are very gracious and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

While we enjoyed our stay at this park, we had two problems which kept it from rating higher. When we called ahead to reserve a FHU we asked for a roof satellite friendy site. We were told "no problem" and were told that the Wi-Fi reached the sites. First, we were unable to get satellite reception due to the large trees and I saw only one of the 25 FHU sites which appeared to be satellite friendly. Second, we could not get Wi-Fi at the site, but could on the deck in front of the office. Due to intermittent sprinkles, we could not take advantage of that location until late in the evening: about 8PM. It is a nice park that did not deliver the services we expected. We camped here in a Motorhome.

It was a delight to find this oasis in the middle of a dry, dusty mountainous terrain. Sites were spacious, on grass rather than gravel, and required little leveling. Laundry and shower rooms were very clean. Staff were very accommodating. The KOA offered a free shuttle to downtown Winthrop for sightseeing in this western motif town. We camped here in a Motorhome.

One of the better KOAs we have stayed in. Sites are level and grassy. Gravel roads but nice and smooth. Plenty of space to maneuver rig around. Right along the Methow River. Have a free shuttle to downtown Winthrop. Employees are nice and Wi-Fi connection is acceptable. Would rate a 9 or 10 except no Cable TV. I highly recommend and will be returning. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice family campground with good sized, grassy sites next to the Methow River. Very clean. Trees provide good shade. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a campground bus to town, so no need to move the RV. We missed the bus and the driver turned right around and gave us a ride in anyway! We camped here in a Motorhome.

A fantastic park. All grass sites. Riverfront sites are not hookups, but the full hookups sites are great. Nice big trees, fire pits, playground, free shuttle to town and river tubing. I would give this place a 10, but the Wi-Fi didn't work at our site, and no cable, so I give it a 9+. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Typical K.O.A. except a little more room between sites. We stay on Site 2 with a 45 foot motorhome. Many trees, so green-striping and access to satellite TV might be a problem. Easy access off Washington SR-20. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice sites. Plenty of room for our 40' 5th Wheel Toyhauler. Showers very clean. Large, shady sites. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Best KOA we've ever been to. A little chaotic at check in, but management handled it well. Among nicest rest/shower rooms ever seen at any campground except for tiny shower stalls. Adequate camp store. Great town for a weekend and nice 9-hole golf course -- 3 miles. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

This park has a pretty setting and is convenient when visiting Winthrop. The owners seemed very nice. The laundry facilities were nice. On the other hand, the WIFI did not work and they purposly had us stay close to the office so we could get the WIFI. The road going in is a little dirty and dusty. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Excellent park, large sites, great host, Large pool. For a nice relaxing park with lots of nearby activities, This place can't be beat. I would give it a 10 if there was more than one washroom. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This was a great park in a great area. Most of the sites are very spacious. We would stay here again. The staff was very accommodating considering we showed up without a reservation. The only downside was there were many tents here so the bathrooms were very busy. Expect to wait to take a shower. We camped here in a Motorhome.

What a great KOA. Very kid friendly with tons of activities and the sites were nice and level with shade trees. The staff was very courteous and friendly. We would definitely come here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Though we have a camp trailer, we were without it this time. We tried one of KOA's Kamping Kabins. Beds for four; very comfy. Park wasn't full, but it would be crammed tightly if it were. Some very small and unlevel sites. Very nice/friendly hosts. Park is well maintained. Some road noise, but it quiets right down around 9pm. Only one restroom/shower building for the whole park. It made for quite a hike at 4:30am. We'd stay here again. We camped here in a Campground Cabins.
