This is a nice no-frills campground. There are only 4 sites with full hookups, and 3 of those appeared to be long term campers. Off all of the sites, those 3 were the only long term residents that I saw (and they may have been there just for hunting season). The Wi-Fi is only available at the office. Also, some of the sites are more like parking spots on the side of the road - that's not true for most sites, but it is true for a few. We had one of those sites but there was plenty of room. There are no picnic tables. There are no fire rings, although fires are allowed. The bathrooms were clean and the water was hot. The campground owners seem very nice, and he even brought us a couple bundles of wood at no additional cost. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

A nice setting back in the woods; trees were just finished changing colors and many were losing their leaves. Office staff was very friendly and accommodating. The phone number for this park in the Trailer Life book only went to a voice recording which no one responded too. We tried three times from over 100 miles away to reserve a site but could not talk to a human. We finally got in touch with one of the referenced names only to be told we didn't need reservations as there were plenty of sites available. When we arrived and requested a full hookup, we were told there was only one left but we could have our choice of electric/water sites. As we were staying two nights and needed clean tanks when we left, we opted for the last full hookup site. To our dismay, this site was within hearing/visual distance of Rt 19 and not located in the woods. We also noticed the other three, lined-up-on-a-dirt-road, full hookup sites were 'permanent' residents. As we disconnected our travel trailer we had to watch our step in the mud and wet dirt road. Bottom line - presently they have one full hookup site which is muddy and on the road. Pick an electric/water site in the woods and dump your tanks when you leave at the provided dump station. We noticed a few of the wooded sites were muddy but at this time of the year, there were many dry sites to use. If we come this way again we would stay here but avoid the full hookups. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Overall, the campground was nice and well-maintained. The full-hookup sites are actually just parallel parked along the driveway to the bathhouse and don't appear to be actual campsites at all. They did not have any of these sites available when we made the reservation so we were glad to have a water/electric site with some shade and privacy. Unless you absolute need a sewer hookup, don't bother - go for the water/electric hook up only instead. The location is only a few minutes from the Rivermen/Class VI activities and close to town/shopping. Each site has a covered trash can which was emptied each day. There are cabins on the property as well as horses, but we did not encounter any disturbances such as loud or obnoxious campers. The manager was very accommodating when we wanted a different, more level site and made sure we had a picnic table brought to us since our new site did not have one. The bathhouse was clean and well-maintained, except for the last two days when the electricity apparently went out in the bathhouse and was not restored. There was also no waste basket so campers piled used hand towels up on the sink. There were corn hole boards and bags located in several courtyard areas which we did not use, but found it to be a fun touch. There are PLENTY of very wooded tent camping sites available but none were occupied during our stay. All in all a perfectly pleasant campground. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I stayed at Rifrafters over Labor Day weekend with fellow club-members. The campground was nearly full. The campground owners are super nice and very helpful. Bathrooms were spotless even over a holiday weekend. RV sites are level and several are well shaded. Our group used the pavilion for a communal dinner one evening. We did have to share with another group that was camped nearby. I think both groups made some new friends. The entrance to this campground is a bit intimidating as it is rather steep, but none of the RVs seems to have a problem. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice campground. Lots of trees provide shade (and some sap). Bathrooms are newly remodeled and spotless. Hand soap provided at the sinks. Owners are friendly and helpful. My FHU site was a concrete pad that I backed into easily. The road back to the tent sites was a pleasant walk for my dogs. I planned to stay 4 nights and due to a breakdown had to stay 6. I will definitely be back if my trailer ever gets fixed! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We made an unscheduled stop here to simply rest from driving in thunderstorms all day. The owners were very friendly and told us to pick any side we would like. Back in or carefully pull through. (The sites were not pull through.) The site we chose was level and all hook ups were convenient. The big surprise was the bath house. The building was an older building BUT very clean and well maintained. Hand soap and shampoo in each shower and soap at each sink. Nice touch. Although we only stayed one night, we were very pleased and would go back! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
